Travelodge Fairfield/Napa Valley - Fairfield

Room was used as a smokers room or motel staff didn't konw, either way I suffered for three days later. And at about 6:00 PM the door was abruptly opened by someone with a pass key!!!!!!! If we did not have on the extra chain and bar lock, who knows what might have happened!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That was my last stay at that motel, for sure. small rooms small beds for price of room

The hotel was conviently located.We did not get the room we requested,which was Queen bed,smoking.The room was so small we had a hard time managing space.HOTELS.com said there was a full breakfast and Seattles Best Coffee,no there was not any of that.The only good thing about the place, was the awesome staff.An no kleenex in the room.Bathroom was the […] best part of the room.My husband did not like it at all,I did not think it was that terrible,but I would not stay again. I was surprise how nice this hotel is- a meeting room with '^"6 2" screen , we had 50 people every one very happy - i enjoy so much- Hotel have nice ice bulk and the facility has more than 80 people / they have two ice machine . I was very concerned when i booked , the review were discomfort to make a reservation, but it turned out very nice stay . Hotel kind of classy from the appearance of it, loft room was very cute and unique from any other hotel i stayed . I stayed 3 days for business, hotel staffs very knowledgeable , they help us in finding good restaurant and attraction […] near by- Top on any of this , i got best rate from hotel.com which is big plus for me. Biggest problem, they advertise wi-fi and don't have it in the rooms. We had to go to a neighboring hotel to pick up wi-fi. Second, the maid wouldn't come until like 4 o'clock in the afternoon and all she really did was make the bed. She didn't empty the trash, replace the used towels, or even replenish the coffee grounds/creamer packages. When we got […] there, the TV remote didn't work, so we called the front desk for either batteries or a new remote. He said he'd bring us both, but after 45 mins, we walked up to the front desk ourselves for a new remote, which again, did not work. We went out and bought our own batteries, and still no luck. It took almost 2 hours to get a working remote. The room was super small and smelled funky. The "contenental breakfast" consisted of warm milk, packaged rolls, and one day we got Cheerios. If we hadn't paid in advance at a "non-refundable" rate, we would have switched hotels... this place was awful. By far, 2 thumbs DOWN and one of the worst hotels we've ever been too. Les mer

This room was actually two old small hotel rooms that were converted to one. The room had ants and cobwebs hanging from ceiling. The hotel is in a good location and the price is inexpensive, so... I guess you get what you pay for, but the ants were over the top. The bathrooms were clean and the beds were okay but the hotel needs to be renovated or torn […] down and start again. Les mer

Although we requested king size beds we ended up with queens instead. The room was nice. Could tell that it used to be two separate rooms with a wall torn down to make one room. The room came with 2 bathrooms which is a plus when traveling with 4 kids! It's located in a business type area, so after hours it is quiet. if you like a shoe box, and the the desk clerk telling you they are writting down we that we had 2 extra towels and that we would be charged, very rude

This place should be CONDEMED - there are no closets to hang up your clothes, the bathroom is bigger than the living area, the TV doesn't work all the time, the living area is the size of a postage stamp, cleaning crew do not clean nor leave replacement coffee, cream, sugar or tolite paper - we had to ask for those things too. And the Manager/Owner […] is truly crazy. She yells at her employees in front of visitors. You can't hardly understand her when carrying on a conversation. The "breakfast" they offer, is a total joke - frozen danishes, cold coffee. You request a Queen size bed, received a Full size bed for two adults. Asked for extra bath towels, you would have thought you asked for a million dollars. DON'T SAY THERE - IT TURLY SUCKS!!!!! Les mer

We got this room because it was inexpensive and close to the Jelly Belly Factory. We were excited about getting a room with stairs leading up to a loft because it separated the two beds like having a different room. Usually as soon as we enter a hotel room we scrape off the comforter because I've heard they don't always get washed. Good thing I did […] this time because we found crumbs in the sheets. I immediately called the office and asked for new sheets. The lady at the front desk acted like she didn't believe me, and sent a man up to investigate (who I'm assuming was her husband). He saw the crumbs in the sheets, which also had grease stains. Not only that, but the sheets were too small for the mattress, and they didn't even have fitted sheets, so all night the sheets kept coming off the mattress. That is disgusting to wake up and find your face is planted on the bare dirty mattress. The beds are hard to make because they are up against the wall. There is no room to walk around the bed. When I say this room is small, I mean it is SMALL! You literally have to duck to keep from hitting your head on the staircase in the loft rooms. The asian lady at the counter was very rude. She said she didn't understand why hotels.com gave me such a low rate because it normally goes for 15 dollars more than what we paid. I can't conceive paying more than 40 for this dump. I usually don't care where I stay because it's just for sleeping, but I would never stay here ever again. It is dirty, over-priced, and when you ask for something from the desk they act like you are an inconvenience. I asked for an additional 30 minutes before checkout the next day, and the lady gave us a hard time about it saying they were booked the next day and we needed to leave ASAP. Are you freaking kidding me right now?? The following day was a MONDAY. Don't give me that load of bull that you are booked on a Monday night. Room very small kept buming into the refriderator when getting to the bathroom. the office help was friendly. It was just a very old hotel and it was probably great in the day but not in the millenium.
