"Le Sport - Body Holiday - Overrated"
We stayed here for a week in April - and found the staff attitude generally the worst thing about the place. Whilst there were a few exceptions to the rule, generally the impression we were left with was that the staff operate in 'silos' as separate little units: Good: Oasis - the spa staff were generally good / excellent Cariblue - generally good Bad: Watersports […] - a group of young lads, very cliquey and not interested Cleaning staff - rude Reception - useless, we arrived early as we were already on the island and despite emailing that morning to give them the heads-up they did not deal with us at all professionally. We were left sitting in reception for ages, then told someone would show us around and they didn't show up. From there, they were slow to deal with queries. Clubhouse - pathetic. Run by a chap called Mr J.... - who called himself a manager but just appeared to harass and bully his staff in my opinion. When we raised a query with him I felt he tried to bully us into submission rather than listen to the point being raised. Scuba - generally good, shame there is no Pontoon / Jetty so you have to wade out to the boat - to shoulder deep water. You have to wear your wetsuit and carry your BCD and regs and fins etc, meaning you can't get out of the wetsuit after the dive - which is not nice. No inside seating on the boat - which is very small. The property is very tired. There is a refurb going on this summer - long overdue in my opinion. However, from what we were told - the staff are not being paid for the 3 month period it is closed (unless they work on the building site) - so perhaps this explains their poor attitude as they are going to move on to other places?? Also, we did overhear two managers talking about the hotel being sold - so again, perhaps the current management have let things slip? Who knows and who cares, we would never stay here again. Les mer

"Best vacation yet!"
LeSport was great. Food was great, plenty of options, and the three restaraunts were always open. Staff was friendly, prompt, and a pleasure to converse to. Alcohol was good in quality and quantity. Daily massages were amazing. Amenities and activites were amazing. Yoga, Fitness, Golf lessons, Archery lessons, Personal training, Water skiing and Tubing […] in the ocean, Sailing, Circus act, and more, too much to name. I'm telling everyone I know they must visit LeSport at some point. Les mer
"It was our second stay - so far so good"
This was our second stay in the hotel. We liked this hotel after our first stay in it last year. It is quiet, has very friendly stuff and keeps you busy with a lot of activities available every day. Nice Spa service is included too. This year we were pleased with some improvements in the rooms and on the beach. The only concern we had was a food selection […] for breakfast. Last year it was better. One dinner in Cariblue restaurant was pure quality too. Tao restaurant was great as it was last year too. I would still recommend this hotel for someone who likes swimming in the sea (not in the pool), who likes water skiing, diving, snorkeling and so on. Les mer
"Séjour impeccable!"
- idéal pour les sportifs: on peut y pratiquer tous les sports que l'on veut, choix très important d'activités sportives - personnel de l'hôtel très sympa et disponible, notamment les bodyguards ("moniteurs qui encadrent les activités sportives) et le personnel du restaurant "le tao" - repas proposés très corrects pour un pays anglophone - situation […] géographique exceptionnelle: très belle vue sur la mer des caraibes, au bord d'une très belle plage où l'eau est très claire - bel hôtel, chambres comfortables - seul bémol! nous sommes arrivés à 14h30 à l"hôtel et nous n'avons été accueillis par personne à l'entrée. Nous avons dûs nous rendre à la réception tout seuls... Pourtant, à l'entrée de l'hôtel, il y a un endroit dédié spécialement à l'accueil de la clientèle avec notamment verre de champagne... Lorsqu'on est arrivé, le champagne était bien là avec les coupes sur une petite table mais personne pour nous le servir et nous amener ensuite à la réception... Quand on est passé là 1h plus tard, il y avait cette fois quelqu'un pour remplir les coupes! Je reconnais que c'est un détail mais ça nous aurait fait plaisir d'être accueilli comme n'importe quel client... Mais visiblement, il ne faut pas arriver avant 15h, heure officielle d'arrivée!
