The hotel overall was okay however the air condition ran all night but the room never cool the room off. Not sure if I will stay again.

The hotel-beautiful def a luxury. PROS:Big rooms, 2 blocks from beach, secure. Jacuzzi on 2nd floor that we used often.CONS: We got stuck in a ground level -2 rooms - 1 with no window (cave) - & the other faced an interior service hallway so the opening we had was covered with a bamboo screen - ie felt like we were staying in basement. They did not […] change sheets ever in our 3 day stay, OR brush the sand off them -sleeping felt pretty gross. The AC-no remote and was mounted so high you had to stand on bed to change it - and couldn't see the controls. The staff was RUDE! Asked for a map, "Nope" Upon insisting,magically came up with maps. Must cab everywhere & can only call for a cab - which always took 20 minutes. Wakeup calls we scheduled never came. One of our party checked out day early. After she left, some strange guy had a key to our room, broke in at 6a.m.&scared us to death.Shirked out and left. Didn't knock or anything. When we complained later to front desk, they said, "It could have been this guy, or this guy, or this guy, or....." Um how many people have keys to our room and can just walk in without knocking whenever they want? Overall, beautiful place, but rudeness of the staff was enough to make us want to stay elsewhere. We felt like we were not welcome. Valets were one exception - they were the only people there after hours (even on weekends),& were more helpful than the front desk and even helped us order a pizza one night. Great guys. Les mer

Through no fault of their own, we had no power in the hotel our first night. Many of the other buildings around us had generators. Parking was horrendous. Very limited parking near the hotel. You were competing with other small hotels and residents. Cute rooms but small.

This was not located right on the main strip in Condado. I really liked that, but if you want to be next to everything this may not be for you. It was located on a quiet side street, steps to the beach, felt very local, surrounding buildings are local condos. Within 5-15 min walk you are in the main, touristy part of Condado, very easy access. I've […] seen reviews complaining of sand, but it's a beach hotel, so... duh. Everything was clean and tidy. The toiletries are pretty cheap and we ended up buying a conditioner at a convenience store because of how dry we felt, but... I'm complaining about a small issue. The hotel is located very close to one of the nicest beaches in San Juan. It is in a quiet neighborhood only steps from the ocean. Unfortunately, the service was dreadful. Often, there was no one at the front desk and we were required to wait up to a half-hour to get our questions answered. This is not the way I want to spend my precious vacation time. […] In addition, the room was just a bit larger than the bed and was not very clean. Boutique brings to mind a small, well appointed, stylish dwelling. In this case that sums it up nicely. Right on the beach, very nicely decorated with ultra-modern lighting and great architecture. The Acacia delivers on it's promise. Don't expect a vast expanse of a room or a massive pool. Tasteful decoration with a modern twist is the order of the […] day, functional space with good design. The Acacia is in Condado which is a good $20 cab ride away from Old Town San Juan. There is a decent $0.75 bus option that goes every 20 minutes or so too so it's not incapacitating. the room was very small, we had reserved a room with a queen bed and the room only had double. there are no elevators in the hotel and we were on the third floor which meant alot of stair climbing. when we checked out the morning we left noone was at the front desk to give us a reciet or to turn the key into. the restaraunt was very expensive and the […] location was not close to anything but the beach. the best part of the hotel was the hot tub. The staff was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. The only complaint I have is that if one needs to check out very early, one needs to go down the block to the Windchimes(the partner hotel). The building was somewhat unique, decorated quite nicely, and adjacent to the beach. I would stay there again.

It was amazing. Very intimate and friendly . The staff was very helpful and provided us informations about what to do , the area . We had a fridge and microwave in our room. Before our stY people were complaining about that yet we did not have to worry about it. Our room was very comfortable . We had the maid coming in every morning. The hot tub??? […] We enjoyed it everyday. We also made sure to enjoy the balcony of our room. Everynight we had a drink or two or three there:). I can't really complain . Everything was perfect. I have been to Pto Rico several times, but this is my first visit to Acacia Boutique. This beautiful building, less than a block from the ocean, with a wonderful welcoming front desk, an awesome staff at the front desk and great rooms make the perfect vacations for someone who want just a room then go out and visit places. There is a hot tube that […] invites you to be there all night long with a glass of wine. It also has a fabulous restaurant ( a little bit expensive, but it is worthy). The room does not have any mini fridge :-( The locations allows you to walk to the local restaurant in El Condado without the fear of being harmed. Police officers are along the road all the time. A nice little boutique hotel about 100 meters from the beach. Very welcoming staff and a very cool vibe. Wonderful, but pricey restaurant on premises. Really deserves 4.5 stars and here's how the management could easily make it a 5 star experience: 1. Have more beach towels available at the front desk. Always seemed to run out whenever we needed them. 2. […] Buy some real patio chairs. The cheap plastic chairs tend to collapse when a guest sits on them. Go ahead and spend a few bucks and upgrade the outdoor furniture and you'll improve the guest experience. 3. Please buy some new beach chairs. The three rickety, greasy, rusty chairs that you have available for check out really do not do you guys justice. Guess what? Your guests are going to go to the beach. Make it as enjoyable an experience as possible. I would love to return to this hotel. It has so many advantages, it just needs a couple of touches to make it a flawless visit. Les mer

nice place to stay... the only issue we had while we were there was the restaurant was only opened and serving when they felt like it ? some days we could not get coffee or breakfast .... same goes for lunch apart from that we had no other issues ....

Beautiful little place. Room was small but there is so much to do in San Jaun it didn't matter to us. Michelle and Susanna were great. They helped us find everything we needed during our stay, and were so friendly. Great little restaurat too. this is a really freindly hotel that is amazing to look at and a lot of fun to to stay at. The variety of channels is amazing, the service was fantastic, the air conditioning was great, and the hot tub was great too! not a bad thing i can say!!!!

Having stayed in Boutique hotels in other cities, I even more enjoyed and appreciated yours, not only in the quality, cleanliness and ambience, but that I didn't even notice that a hot tub was on the property, when I viewed the website. It was right outside my room. Yes! I have mentioned it to several friends already, and the Raphy, the taxi driver. […] I am sure he will pass it along, too. Very pleased! Hope to see you again sometime in my trips. Curious, when having to choose Type of Personal Trip: the only selection that came even close was "Personal Event". What, pray tell, is that? It's a bit quirky, yet delightful. Location is very close to the beach, staff is accommodating and pleasant. beach chairs and towels are provided which is a perk. The bus to old San Juan is a five minute walk. On the way there is a small park by the beach with swing sets which is romantic for any couple. The room isn't large, but who needs a huge suite […] when the beach should be your true domain. The jacuzzi is cute, romantic and an ideal setting for an evening dip. From the patio off the room, the beach is within view. There is a fan and AC available, so you'll be able to find a temperature of your comfort. We stayed in a room that had virtually no window. In addition, the rug in the hotel entry was dirty. We had stayed there before in different rooms and had a better experience.

Well basically.....it "looks" nice, but if you look closely...not so much. I didnt realize all the mold on the top of the ceiling in the bathroom. The room its self was nice, until i found a condom wrapper beside the bed and wall. Not to mention they did not get us the room we thought we would have. The air in the building was out for 2 days. Great boutique hotel a few blocks up from the hustle and bustle of downtown Condado. The hotel is down a short dead end beach street surrounded by condo buildings; no noise from Avenida Ashford or party goers. A fantastic place to base your trip to Puerto Rico. Room was good size but had no additional seating other than the bed but I did have a huge […] balcony that wrapped around two walls of the room with deck chairs. Amenities included a great atmosphere, a cool (expensive) restaurant/bar, complimentary beach towels and chairs in addition to an outdoor shower to wash your beach gear. Only downside was no immediate parking but if you know Puerto Rico, you can park anywhere that doesn't have a painted curb so it's not such a downer. Just make sure you ask for a fresh shower towel every other day. I love Puerto Rico and will certainly come back to the Acacia! Les mer

Overall a good experience. Quiet beach near property. Small hotel with everything u need. The room was cleaned but there was an issue with toilet which after they "fixed" was a mess. Hot tub was not working and they told all guests that it "just stopped Working yesterday." Can't beat it for the price. Parking was not best either.

The room was small, hard to watch t.v. while lying in bed, one panel of the curtains had no hooks and did not close properly, but the room was clean. In general the Hotel was very nice. The restaurant Nichi's was beautifully decorated and the food excellent and the staff was great, everyone was so kind and friendly. This hotel is gorgeous. The decorations are modern and fun. A lot of attention to detail in that regard. Very clean. You can see the ocean from the huge hot tub. Not conveneint for a female business traveler. No parking, had to look for parking in the street of a questionable safe neighborhood. Very dated rooms, the fire alarm kept going off for two days. There was a power outage one night. I will never stay there again.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay at Acacia. We had room right off the jacuzzi, which is btw. amazing. Only one night there were people staying late in the jacuzzi, which meant a little bit of noise, but we did not have any troubles with that. Niche restaurant looked very nice, although we did not have a chance to try their food. Hotel provides beach […] towels and chairs, but only 3-4 chairs for the entire hotel. Beach is close, my hubby even did not bother wearing flip-flops, just walked around barefoot. Location is quiet, hotel is in a residential area. You have to walk about 10 minutes to get to the shops and restaurants, it is really just a couple of blocks. Did not bother us at all. The only think I would improve is to put a refrigerator in the rooms - there was not any. Overall we liked it very much! Cozy and intimate hotel! Les mer

The hotel was beautiful but very hard to find. My only complaint was difficulty in finding it but for the price excellent value. AC and fans very cute my door opened right to the jacuzzi which was beautiful at night and less than 5 min walk to beach. Loved it. Staff friendly.
