our stay at the mystic springs hotel was very nice.......very spacious for 6 adults and 2 children......very clean .....everything you need in the chalet.....pool and hot-tub great ....convenient to main street...would book again.

Everything was great except the reason we chose this hotel was for the heated swimming pool and the hot tub. The swimming pool was NOT the temperature they stated and was FREEZING cold. The hot tub was not open the first morning and when I called the front desk I was told it was down for the day. Thankfully it was open before noon. The hotel had very comfortable beds, the place was clean and the staff friendly. I am picky but the vents had dust on them.

Really enjoyed our stay at Mystic Springs again! I find that the cleanliness of these condo type resorts is usually sub-par (the staff would usually be skiing than reaching all the way into the corners!), but have no fear, this place is nice and clean. The hotel was okay This is our second time here and there Was a noticeable difference in the up keep of the property. Front door for instance had obviously been kicked in and was not fitting property. My wife and kids couldn't open it was the only one. The dishes in the cupboard had not been washed we had to wash them before we used them. The linen […] on the beds looked as though they had been just pulled up from the last guest who had stayed there. The final piece that bothered me is that the girl at the front office had requested a credit card for a deposit, we had paid for the room in it's entirely a month and a half earlier. I understand the principle of having our credit Card number of file in the event of damage but she processed another $100.00 on our card and told us it would be reviewed at check out and returned if there was no damageM have not Seen it credited back to our card as of yet and believe will not See it again. It is to bad it Was a great property, but there are lots of options and we will be looking for something different or Our next trip. Les mer

We had a wonderful stay at Mystic - our two bedroom apartment was well appointed and very comfortable. The rooms were warm, beds comfortable and the kitchen suited our needs. We stayed at this hotel with a sports team. It was perfect for what we were looking for. Comfortable, quiet, clean, nicely equipped kitchens, very nice hot pool. Staff was easy going and accomodating.

Other than no stainless steel appliances, which is being very picky! This place was amazing, and the condo was virtually sound proof, when we arrived the neighbors had two very noisy dogs, and we couldn't hear them at all. Plus we where quite loud as well

The chalet was clean. We liked that there were 2 double beds in the one room so our teenagers had plenty of sleeping space. We were disappointed that of the 4 nights we were there, the hot tub was not available for 3 of them due to maintenance issues. After a day away, it would have been nice to relax in the hot tub. The pool was heated, but was still […] quite chilly for the kids to play in. They were only able to stay in the main pool for about 15 minutes before they were cold.The TV's in the rooms were nice for the evenings when each child wanted to watch a different program. Les mer

We had five Adults and one three year old stay in one chalet, there was plenty of room and the facility was great. I would recommend this place to anyone for any type of getaway!

It was a nice place to stay but there was a weird smell to the room that we couldn't quite figure out (kind of smelled like expired milk). Since we arrived late (after 10 p.m.) and there was no one at the front desk, we couldn't ask for another room. Other than that though, it was a good place to stay.

For the price this condo was ok. Housekeeping standards were not up to par. Carpet, floor, stair bannister were dirty. Fridge drawer was not clean, dirty dishes from previous guests in cupboard. Applicances in dire need of a wipe down. We definitely left the condo cleaner than when we arrived. The upstairs bedrooms were hot with no air circulation. […] Noisey rowdy neigbours kept us awake most of the night as we had to leave windows open to cool the room. Room was stuffy and full of dust. Lots of stains on the pillows as well as the table runner on the dining table. Pillows were lumpy as well as the bed.

Everything was wonderful except we didn't get the free bathrobes that were stated in the brochure. Other than that we had a great stay.

Hotel was a GREAT deal! Pool was warm and clean. Very close to the Grassi Lakes hike that was INCREDIBLE for any age!!! Only down side was when we went to watch TV in the later evening both remotes (TV and DVD) had dead batteries.

Would definitely book again. Lovely mountain view. Very clean room. Nice to have a kitchen facility. This was our last stop of our trip and it completed our trip on a great note. Wonderful way to end our trip.

Our large family filled up the chalet and we were quite comfortable. For the value you cannot go wrong with this chalet. The chalet was in fairly good condition and the kitchen quite nice. The kitchen was modestly stocked but don't expect it to be like your home. There was pepper and salt and thats about it for food. You get the essentials, cooking […] utensils, pots pans, cutlery and dishes. The pool was ok and the grounds were not bad. Plenty of parking. As long as you don't expect a five star hotel you cannot go wrong with Mystic Springs. We stayed in room 107 and there were no bad odors and no signs of smoking. We slept 8 people in the chalet (two on pull out couch on main floor, two in each of the double beds in the one room, and two in the king bed in its own room). There are two bathrooms upstairs which was nice. The cleanliness of the chalet was ok but not great. under the beds has probably never seen a vacuum but the main areas were ok. Bottom line, I would stay here again. Les mer

My husband and I took both sets of our parents to the mountains for a few days while they were visiting us. We planned on driving to different locations each day so this was a great place for us to be - clean, space for all 6 of us, and easy access to the Trans Canada. It's about a 15-20 minute walk or 5 minute drive into downtown Canmore. The hotel […] was clean with rustic/cabin type decor. However there weren't enough dishes provided for the 6 of us. Only enough for 4 people so we had to make do when eating our meals at the hotel. The pool and hot tub were a nice feature, but kind of weird there was no curtain on the door of our place that faced it. It'd be nice to have that for more privacy. Overall a good place for someone who is looking to stay for a few days, wanting access to a kitchen, and doesn't need anything fancy. Les mer

The room was fabulous! The hotel staff were not! We were treated as if we were a bother and at one point they completely forgot a promised guest service. Service goes a long way - these folks need a reminder about good business practices!

The chalet was dirty, dusty and after asking to be cleaned, was not done. The toaster was broken, there were few teaspoons in the kitchen and the housekeeping was not done as promised.

You need blinds on doors to pool side something for privacy.

We had a good time. Pool was very nice. Our room could have been a bit more clean . It looked like cat or dog food on floor of our bedroom. The location was very good for us very close to Banff. We would stay again.

We recently stayed at the Mystic and were thrilled. We were only sorry that our stay wasn't longer, though we have already decided to go back in the winter. The hotel staff are very polite and helpful, giving personal attendance to help with any issues. This is a great home away from home for families with all amenities available on-site. We were travelling with extended family and found Mystic Springs to provide lots of space for a relatively small cost when compared to the alternative of purchasing two standard hotel rooms. The 2 bedrooms were large and clean and the two bathrooms made it easier for the 5 of us to manage. We used the kitchen and dining room table for breakfast each […] morning and found it to be well stocked with all the pots, pans, dishes, etc. we needed. Over the course of our 3 day stay we interacted with a number of front desk staff - extending our stay and asking various questions - and found every one of them to be very pleasant and positive. All our requests were met quickly and with a smile. The pool area was well maintained and clean and the area immediately surrounding the pool was nicely landscaped. Les mer

This was a fantastic stay!! we stayed 2 nights and would definitely go again! We stayed in a chalet that was more like a house. upstairs had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms 1 was an en suite. Full lounge area with kitchen diner with everything we needed. the pool was fabulous and warm and an excellent hot tub. I cannot say anything bad about this 'hotel' […] would highly reccommend it and would choose it over any other in the area. this is a family orientated hotel not far from the centre of Canmore if you need it.
