Delta Hotel City Center - Amsterdam

Hotel in bad state of decay, breakfast was horrible. The hotel staff are friendly though and the location is ideal. It advertised parking included which isn't true, its a service where someone takes your car to a location in Amsterdam which isn't my idea of city parking.

Great location. Friendly staff...until they burst into our room without even knocking and demanded that we leave because they got our reservations mixed up. I would look for a different place next time!!

The hotel is in a great location next to the Patat Mat shop on Damrak. Hotel staff was VERY friendly and professional. The room was TINY. Bed was uncomfortable and small, more like a cot. Nice flat screen TV. Slow lift. Breakfast was fine.

We like this hotel because it was close to Central station. Reception staff was very kind and give us a lot of advises about restaurants and sightseeing.etc.

Not expensive, good location in center of Amsterdam, near the Central station,very friendly staff.Good breakfast.The Hotel is located on the main street, but if you choose room not on the street side it still very quiet.

Excellently located - short walk from the railway station and close to all that you might want to see. We had a triple room at the top of the hotel - it was clean, a good size and great to have a private shower-room. The location of this hotel is great and it is rather cheap. A short walk from the central train station, palace, red light district, Anne Frank House, restaurants, etc. Staff were helpful and friendly. I was generally disappointed, but it could be an issue of the standard of service one sees in other countries. Maybe this is the norm in Amesterdam.. Nevertheless, there is no doubt you'll get very little value for your money by staying in this hotel. I paid certain rate, let us call it x, and got nothing more than a 0.25x of actual value.

no matter how many times we went in or out seeing the same staff person, she could never remember that we were guests, seems a bit detached from her job, and a bit snotty.. our room was fine except for an odd smell . Great spot for a night and central to downtown Amsterdam. The staff was very accomodating and very friendly. Just watch out for the extra's that are charged to you when you arrive, tourist tax, etc. Would be back there again as it does come with breakfast!! Great option.

The service was very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent except there was no access for ttaxis. The faciliyis soewhat rundown and there is no air conditioning. Our room faced another room and that was it. I was bare bones living.

Not bad for what I paid. Staff was friendly. No AC. Excellent location for some Amsterdam action. Easy walk from Central Station. Pretty good resturant too. Bed was wedged between a radiator and a desk. Desk was higher than the bed. Private shower and toilet. A little loud but it is Amsterdam.

be very careful they advertise car parking self park for 21 Euro per night when you arrive its 31 Euro because the man! has to park it for you the this hotel is most certainly 3 star look for some others near they are a whole lot better our room was a joke it was about 14 ft long by 6 ft wide the beds were top to tail and 2.6 wide be warned avoid like […] the plague Les mer

Chose hotel because of proximity to train station. Easy to access with luggage. Room faced the main street and was very noisy but spacious and clean.

This little and simple, yet well fonctioning hotel (who would come to Amsterdam to stay in a hotel anyway?) is located some minutes from the Centraal Station and is really the best location you could possibly ever hope for for a reasonable budget!! If you are going here to sample the best of what Amsterdam has to offer then stay here, the staff are freindly the breakfast is awful and not worth getting up for but the location is perferct so if your with a group of friends then great but dont take the mrs here, as for the rooms poor standard but clean enough and the only time I spent in there was […] with my eyes closed, I would stay here again if I went with a group of mates so enjoy Amsterdam. If you are young and like to drink a lot and not really planning to sleep this is the hotel for you. The only thing I can say good about the place is the staff was great and tried their best to make your stay enjoyable.

Was put in this single room with no window, tv didnt work, and hole in wall with rubbish in it.They moved me next day to a very nice room and the breakfast was fabulous.

This place is great for what we payed, went with 6 of my friends, had a huge room, fresh towels both days, room was very clean, breakfast was nice. Great location. 5 min walk from Amsterdams main square.

The hotel seemed to tick all the boxes. The pjoto looked good and the fact that it claimed to have 3 stars was reassuring. We are a party of three middle-aged mixed adults; the location was in a dodgy part of Amsterdam. Quite unsettling when you arrive for the first time. The reception staff were friendly but very disorganised. The rooms were very shabby […] and despite being posted as a non-smoking property, the smell of cannabis on our landing was strong all of the time. The beds were clean enough and I guess we got what we had paid for, which was cheap! The profile of this hotel absolutely suits a younger tourist who is in Amsterdam for the red light district and the smoking scene. I must add that rather worryingly, as we were checking out there was a large party just arrived and as their booking had not been recorded, had no accommodation, I am just glad it wasn't us........or maybe that would have been a benefit!!!! The person at the front desk was very friendly. He offered (and I didn't even ask him to) to check to see if the places I wanted to visit that afternoon (when I checked in) were open and even printed a train schedule to the airport for me, and translated the schedule from Dutch to English. Hotel is in a very good location. Sadly the condition of the room is very dissapointing. Hopefully, the hotel can re-do the rooms. Get rid of all the wall carpeting which is VERY DUSTY and the furniture as well. Looking at it, you can tell that it has not been vacuum for a long long time. We don't even dare sleep facing the wall. Imagine that!!! The […] floor is the one that needs carpeting, not the wall. We were there during winter and the floor was freezing. You pay for the location! It is in need of refurbishment. Breakfast was poor. I wouldn't stay there again!

The Delta is a great hotel!! It is a 5 minute walk from Central Station on a main street. Plenty of food and shopping options right outside the hotel. We requested a room facing the street and we got it!!! We didn't mind the street noice but there is noice. Full Breakfast was awesome. Great staff. Very helpful. I was put in the supposedly worst room the hotel. no windows, one towel, no soap, no sheet (just comforter) and no air conditioning.

Got a room on the bottom floor, nee basement. No window view. Overnight rain and the ceilings started leaking, waking me up at 6 am. Front desk did not even offer to comp the room.

die lage ist zwar toll, der preis aber viel zu überteuert. das doppelbett hatte eine breite von 1.20 !!! frühstück ok, aber nur bis 10 uhr. woher der dritte stern kommt ist mir unerklärlich. das zimmer wurde in den 2 nächten nur 1x gemacht.

Jättelitet rum men helt OK. Bra städning och fin service bland personalen. Frukosten var OK men det borde funnits lite grönsaker också.Läget på hotellet var det bästa man ha till detta pris om man vill bo centralt.

El personal es muy amable,la situacion es inmejorable,se puede ir a casi todos los enclaves mas visitados andando.El desayuno continental no es muy variado pero si abundante.Es una buena eleccion como hotel para dormir, desayunar y volver otra vez para dormir.Aconsejo coger habitaciones interiores si no os importan las vistas,ya que la Calle Damrak […] es supertransitada y con bastante ruido. Hotel esta en muy bunea posicion en el centro de Amsterdam, pero los cuartos son viejos y pequeños, tener cuidado con el deposito, pueden tratr de dejarselo, es un poco informal la recepcion al final de cuentas vale mas la localizacion del hotel que la comodidad si uno lo que quiere es solo un lugar para pasar la noche

Hotellet var formentlig overbooket, og receptionisten kunne kun anvise enkeltværelse på trods af reserveret dobbelværelse. Er på ingen måde imødekommende men direkte fræk og afvisende. Efter mere end 1 time anvises hotellets absolut dårligste værelse helt oppe under loftet. Værelset lugter som om det ikke har været brugt i længere tid. Fuldstændig nedslidt, […] paneler har åregammel skidt, maling afskallet, nederste dele af dørkarmne er rådnet væk. Der er beskidt overalt, maling på gulvet. Trotz zentraler Lage - danke, nie wieder! Ein schmutziges, lautes, stinkendes Loch, wo man nicht weiß, wo die 3 Sterne herkommen! Das Frühstück war ok und ausreichend! Im Großen und Ganzen: Schlecht investiertes Geld!!!

Come riassumo nel titolo, si tratta di un hotel senza alcuna pretesa, il personale alla reception è sempre presente e disponibile a qualsiasi richiesta di informazioni ma le stanze non sono proprio eccezionali. Oltretutto nella stanza a noi assegnata c'era un fortissimo odore di fumo (di sigaretta) nonostante il divieto vigente in tutte le camere (sono […] anch'io un fumatore, ma era obiettivamente esagerato). Colazione nella norma, con l'assenza di brioches, come spesso succede all'estero. La posizione: questo è il top del Delta Hotel, un voto 10, a metà strada tra la stazione centrale e piazza Dam, raggiungibili entrambe in 5 minuti di passeggiata. 建物全体を保存しての改装には無理ですので期待はしないほうが良いと思います。朝食は一階のレストランですので内容は良いと思います。

Nous y avons passé une nuit à 6 dans une chambre prévue pour 4 probablement. C'était correct mais sans plus. L'hôtel est bien placé, proche de la gare, mais pas idéal pour un long séjour. Le petit déjeuner n'est pas génial, un peu simple (pain toast, beurre, confiture, charcuterie).

El servicio recibido es pesimo, exigen un deposito de 25 Euros como garantia del control remoto y la llave y al momento del check-out la administración utiliza cualquier pretexto para no devolver ese deposito. En mi caso hacer el check-out 5 minutos despues de las 11am y además con un desprecio que no vuelvo jamas. Appena tornato da questo fantastico weekend sottolineo che la posizione dell'hotel è centrale anche se per visitarla la città ovunque ti trovi per me sei sempre in centro non puoi perderti, ribadisco che le stelle per me scenderebbero ad una per il prezzo pagato mi sembra esagerato, colazione scadente per farVi un esempio stamattina avevano esaurito […] marmellata, struttura poco pulita, stanza giusto il minimo x dormire con la porta del bagno che a mala pena si apre, non aggiungo altro se potete scegliete altro a minor prezzo tanto vi offriranno la stessa cosa Les mer

Hotel aconchegante, localizado no coração de Amsterdam. Perto do Red Light, dos museus e da Amsterdam Centraal.

Jeg var en uge i Amsterdam hvor jeg boede på Delta Hotel, det ligger super centralt midt i centrum af Amsterdam. der er ikke så meget komfort, men da jeg var der nede på en aktiv by ferie var det et godt bare at sove.
