flott hotell,men tok litt tid til å varme rommet etter ankomst., Betalte for frokost første dagen men oppdaget at det var ingen vanlig pålegg som ost , kjøttpålegg, eller kokte egg.Det var kun typisk engelsk frokost og litt kornflakes produkter.Det er kanskje greit for engelskmenn , men litt overraskende for oss som kommer fra utlandet.

Enkelt standard , men greit , rent, veldig hyggelig personall. Det viktigste er at den er sentralt og lett å komme til , flybuss og buss til togstasjonen i nærheten

"Quiet, comfortable nights sleep"
The room was very clean & comfortable. The staff were efficient, knowledgeable & very friendly. I had an excellent nights sleep despite being so close to a major road. I would definately stay again.

"Simple Hotel at a good price"
What is there to say. It was basic but I wasn't paying much. It was clean and tidy. The food was fine and the staff were friendly. Can't say fairer than that.
"Noisy"
For a cheap hotel, the room was OK. However, paper thin walls meant that you could hear your neighbours, especially when they were partying till 4.00 am. Then at 7.00 am (on a Sunday), the crew building the trading estate the hotel was on, started up their compressor - no sleep. Next time I'll pay more and go somewhere else.
Overall a nice stay, the only complaint I would make is that the walls are very thin as we were woken in the night to the sound of talking from the next room, maybe supply some earplugs!!!
Nice friendly staff made me welcome. Rooms were very nice. Food available close by. I used it for business stop over.
"ideal for a stopover"
we just wanted a clean decent room in which to sleep while visiting from London. We got exactly what we wanted with easy parking too. The rooms are not big but have all you need, a comfortable bed, a good tv, clean modern well fitted bathroom. Nothing else required. Will definitely stay again. Did not even look at the breakfast so cannot comment. We […] just went out to Waitrose which is right next door for a Sunday paper and ended up having a coffee and croisant there (they also do bacon sarnies etc). Les mer

"tea"
The room was great cant fult it the only trouble was there was not enought tea coffee and sugar, when i told the man on reception he said i could have got some more from reception, as i said to him what come in my dressingown, it was freezing
the Campanile was ideal for me as i did not want to be in town. It was quite clean but the staff were very abrupt, there was a problem with the power going off and the manager was very dismissive of my query as to why, turns out an electrician was testing electrics in a room above and apologised and stopped. All in all I had a good restfull and comfortable […] stay although on an industrial estate it is very quiet there. Les mer
"Basic accomodation - close to Park & Ride"
Pleasant budget hotel close to Cardiff East Park & Ride. The hotel has a very steep car park but a reasonable number of spaces. Restaurant facilities are fine with inexpensive rates for meals and bedrooms are adequate.
"Cheap hotel"
This is a cheap hotel, and was mainly a comfortable stay, but a little dated and the bathroom in the room we had was smelly - everything else was clean though. The location was fine with a car (we ate in the local Toby Carvery as we were tired from travelling) but as other people have said is a long way from the centre of Cardiff. "a decent hotel"
stayed here recently. it isn't exactly downtown cardiff, so a car is needed if you plan to get around. for what it is, it was nice. the room was comfortable, the tv worked(!) and there was free wifi access in the rooms AND free tea/coffee in room. nice little hotel.

"A bit out of the way"
It takes a while to get to that part of Cardiff. It's a lot further out than I thought. The hotel is unassuming and in a light industrial/business park. Needless to say, coming and going is reasonably safe as there are no chavs to be seen. However, I arrived about an hour before check in with my bags and the management would not let me leave them or […] tuck them into the room so I could get back to the centre of town. Most places don't seem to mind doing this. the rooms are pretty normal, not drab, not too warm, not too bright. Just about normal. all things considered, unless you're driving in, I'd spend a little more and stay closer to the city centre. Les mer
"Campanile a taste of France"
Not a bad hotel but the bar and restaurant prices were high and the car park being on a steep slope resulted in my engine oil warning coming on each morning after being stood there all night. But overall for the money it was adequate clean and satisfactory

A comfortable stay at a very reasonable rate. Having free parking on site is convenient and keeps the price down unlike city centre hotels. The location is good in terms of onward travel and city centre access.

"Very Good"
Clean, warm and spaciuos. Good breakfast with excellent chef cooking in the evening. The French Manager was a little grumpy, but maybe that's because he's French. Very enjoyable stay together with free high speed internet.

"MOTEL ON THE M4 NEAR EASTERN CARDIFF EXIT"
This motel is easy to find, as there are signs from the M4 exit, which is very helpful. A bit too far from Cardiff town center for comfort, though. It is a normal motel with good standard and comfortable beds. Tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms and good bathroom. Everything as expected, but the fact that one cupboard still contained a selection […] of underwear left by the last (or even earlier?) guest left the suspicion that the charlady doesn't always check everything in detail; no direct problems with cleanliness, though. If you find it difficult to manouvre your car in small areas and steep slopes, you should leave it outside, as the motel area is on a hillside, making parking more like hillclimbing than ordinary driving. Saw some people having obvious trouble getting into and out of parking area. Rooms have entry to courtyard and an extra plus for a ramp for disabled, which is not always standard with French motel chains. -Travelling Swede- Les mer
