Meget bra, men frokost og søss delingen bør være med i prisen. Det er surt å måtte betale ekstra for dette som man tar som en selvfølge nor en er ute å reiser.

Vi hadde et supert opphold på D' Amsterdam. Hotellet lå i en stille gate med gangavstand til sentrum og de fleste severdigheter. Frokosten var inkludert i prisen og var innholdsrik til å være et såpass lite hotell. Servicen var veldig god, vi fikk mange anbefalinger på utflukter og gode restauranter. Resepsjonen så litt sliten ut, og vi ble først litt skeptiske, men det viste seg at rommet og spiserommet var rent og fint. Det eneste minuset var at det var veldig lytt mellom rommene. Selv om det var veldig rolig mens vi var der, og ikke noe problem, kan det kanskje være det... ? Uansett - kommer gjerne tilbake!

Bodde her under feiringen av queens day, kjempe sentralt men likevel stille og fint inne. Veldig god servise og mat på hotellet. eneste negative må være at teppet på rommet trengte en rens.

Veldig hjelpsomt personale når det gjelder spm om Amsterdam og hva man kan gjøre. Stilig hotellkonsept og fantastisk bygning å utforske. Litt lite å finne på i nærområdet, men kort vei med trikk til aktiviteter
Vi bestilte 1-stjernes rom, et bittelite som med to senger. Eneste positive m det rommet var søplabøtta, at putene var KJEMPE gode og at det lå en morgenkåpe der. Men vi bestemte oss for å oppgradere, som koster 20 euro natta, opp til 2stjerners. Heldigvis hadde de ikke flere to-stjerners igjen, så vi fikk 3-strjerners for samme pris =) Veldig bra service […] der, og hotellet er gammelt men har også sjarmen. Det er veldig lett å komme seg til og fra sentrum, "tram" (trikk) 26 går omtrent hvert 10-ende minutt bare 100-200 m fra hotellet. Eneste negative er at de ikke opplyser om at de tar depositum! For våre to netter ble det 100 euro! Men alt i alt, man er jo ikke mest på hotellet, så det funka veldig greit for oss =) Les mer
This hotel got alot of publicity in the media, but that doesnt mean that its good i found out. Especially regarding the rooms. We were 3 friends who got a double room on the first floor. There was no aircon, only windows. Since we were on the first floor alot of noice from trucks, traffic, and people going by outside. No shower curtain in the bathroom, […] even if the room is big, expect water all over the floor after shower. Very bad lighting in both room and bathroom, horrible small 12" tv. No frigde, minibar, generally a bad smell in the room as well. We ordered what seemed to be a 3 star room. But this didnt live up to expectations at all. The room seemed stripped from all comfort just so it would look "cool" or whatever. Unless your booking a special room here stay away. You will be alot better of in a more traditional hotel. Also no breakfast included, its 17 euros....not worth it. Les mer
"Great hotel"
This hotel served all of my needs. It's a little bit outside of the center, but tram 26 passes right by the outside and takes you to the central station in five minutes. Don't worry, you won't regret it!

"Fantastisk hotell!"
Vi bestilte tre rom. Hadde vi visst at det ene rommet var en to etasjers suite med 7-manns seng, så hadde vi klart oss lenge med det. Vi var elleville da vi såg sengen. Med 2 dobbeldyner, en enkeldyne og 7 puter. 7 nattbordlamper på en hylle over. Vi hadde flygel på rommet! Og det brukte vi sent på natt uten at noen brydde seg med det. Ok frokost, men […] litt lite utvalg. Ser at det har vært et fengsel, og det er det som gjør det stilig. Tøft innredet. Les mer
Fint hotell med store rom. Vi hadde 2*, og det var helt greit. Dusj åpent i rommet var litt spesielt, men en opplevelse. Sengen var veldig god!

"Herleg hotell"
Dette er eit hotell utanom det vanlege, og noko som eg varmt vil tilrå. Det einaste negative eg kan komma på var at rommet var så minimalistisk superstilig at det mangla ting som penn og papir, vasskokar og hårfønar, men det var mogleg å låna fønar resepsjonen. Frukosten var bra, men kosta 17 euro.

Et hotell med en rik historie og unike rom i alle prisklasser. En liten trikketur og du er midt i bykjernen. Frokost litt overpriset, da den ikke var veldig spennende, men friskpressete juicer er alltid godt. Kjøkkenet hadde veldig god mat, og bakhagen var koselig. Kommer alltid til å velge dette hotellet når jeg er i Amsterdam..

Litt i beita for hotellrom pga vm-finalen tok vi et wildshot og bestilte rom på Ljoyd, som ligger litt unna sentrum i amsterdam. Det ble en veldig positiv opplevelse. Hotellet som er et totalrenovert, tidligere fengsel(!) var full av skjarm og unikhet. Og en FANTASTISK restaurant. Anbefales til alle!

Hotel Lloyd ligger litt utenfor sentrumskjærnen, men det går fint å ta seg inn til sentrum med trikk. Vi valgte 2-stjernersrommet og fikk et flott rom i 5. etg med loftsvindu. Sengen var superkomfortabel. Rommet var enkelt, men rent og møbleringen var trendy og passet fint til stilen på hotellet. The hotell was located a bit off, and the walk towards the station was though bulding sites and next to big roads and the railway, use of bus is needed. walking south west towards the city was better, passing by a nice local brewery! The service was friendly, apparently I had an free upgrade to a "4-star-room". The room tourned out to be bigger than […] my apartment back home, with a large bed and two bathrooms, one of them a large bath tub. The room, though, was located in the basement, the fllor cold, and the room a bit dark. I woulöd not call this a 4 star room, rather a 2 star room. All in all a funcional hotel, if one, like me are looking for a hotel last minute and can´t find anyting closer to town, but to expensive in my opinion in relation to the location and the quality of the room! I'm not going to write an essay, so don't judge this literally - but the room me and my gf stayed in (2*) was obviously an old prison cell. That isn't to say that it wasn't comfortable, the bed was wonderful, or that the room was cold and imposing. The hotel on the other hand had managed to cover its history a lot better, and I'm sure the 3*+ rooms […] were much better than ours. Very close to tram route to take you into Amsterdam. The hotel is close enough to enjoy downtown by tram and far enough away to rest as a family. A hotel with a lot of history and with a great view of the east docks.
"The worst customer service ever"
My friend and I were staying in a 5* room which turned out not even to have a bathroom, but a "bathroom sculpture" (the words of the receptionist). This amounted to a green fibre glass monstrosity in the middle of the room. We were allowed to change on our second night luckily. When we asked about bathrobes, minibar, a safe, a hairdryer etc (none of […] which were in the room), we were told that the hotel does not provide such things lest guests think they are in a Marriott. I was so taken aback at this I couldn't even laugh. The receptionist girl was only interested in us going to see her conceptual art. I wish I had been in a Marriott frankly. We were subsequently asked to leave the hotel bar since there was a private party and so got drinks in the restaurant. It took 40 minutes for a bowl of peanuts to arrive when we had asked 3 times and could see them in full view on the bar the entire time. Les mer
"kinda of disappointed based on its price"
I lived in a two-star confort room in this hotel and its on 6th floor which may explain why the wifi signal is so poor. Besides you can never imagine a toilet like that……Have to admit people there are nice and the hotel has a warm place to dine and chat...but the room itself does not worth the price…… Anyway the traffic is quite convenient but its not […] in the center of amsterdam!!! "very uniquely designed room"
I stayed for 2 nights. The room was designed in a very unique way. I really enjoyed the room's unique functions. But I saw other guests who got very angry and were complaining at the reception. For example, in my room, there were only a small partition between the bed room and shower space (actualy shower was in the bed room.). So I don't recommend […] this room only for a couple. If you're looking for a "Standard" Room with a loo .... give this place a miss .... If u can handle a room which would be home to a Picasso or Van Gogh or even Bertrand Russel, and acceptable to their respective eccenticities - step right in ..... "Out of your comfort zone and in to PURE luxury"
I admit my boyfriends and I were quite anxious about booking LLoyd hotel after we discovered that it was an old detention centre. However once we arrived we were literally blown away with the style and elegance of the hotel. We were given a free upgrade from a 2 star room to a 3 star without even requesting it and allowed to check in to our room at […] 11am instead of 3pm without any problems. This essentially gave us a whole extra day to look around Amsterdam without having to return to the hotel to unpack and take a shower. Our room was a design one-off with a fold out bathroom and designer furniture. By far the star of the stay was the bed and duvet which was like sleeping in a cloud and although Amsterdam is an amazing city to explore it was increasingly hard to tear ourselves away from the comfort of our bed. The dining area, bar, hallways and floors of the hotel were fascinatingly designed and the halls lined with books that gave the entire place a unique character. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel as the tram links are just outside and it is a quick 5 minute journey to Central Station where you can get links all over the city. One thing to wing about is the breakfast which is a bit pricey at 17.50€ pp. SO the best option is to grab a coffee in the hotel and then adventure in to town for some traditional breakfast. I would reccommend Greenwoods cafe on Simpel street for an absolutely delicious cooked breakfast in a quaint part of town and cute cafe interior. Les mer

When leaving the hotel, there was a beal of telephon calls. It was absulotly mistake. We didnt use the phone. We spoke on SKYP only. The front dask agreed that we will not pay for this calls.

the hotel it self wasnt to bad but my room was terrible. it stunk ther carpets where very gross and it was in a dungeoness basement. not happy at all.

We booked a 4 person room and everything was fine except that the bathroom was in a sort of corridor between the two pieces of the room, alongside an eating table and chairs. Very weird indeed and inconvenient for a family of 4... Other than that it was an interesting and 'different' hotel with lots of personality
"Lloyd Hotel: Modern and hip"
The Lloyd hotel is a great place to stay. Is very hip and modern decorated, it has a great eating area, reading area and even an exposition room. Every hotel room is unique and specially designed, you would want to switch rooms every night! The only problem is that after the tram and buses close at night you will find it is a long long walk back!

Great hotel with amazing service! Definitely not your typical hotel, it is very artsy and all the rooms are different. The staff is very friendly and the bedding and towels are all very clean! Free wifi too :)

Very conveniently located a short tram ride out of the centre, my tram to Centraal station only took around 5 minutes. I'd booked the lowest spec room as i was only staying one night on business, but it was very large and well appointed. The only dissapointment of my stay was the hotel bar, no staff available at 8pm on a Friday night to serve my collegue […] who was waiting for me, and still no one came to see me when i arrived downstairs 10 minutes later. The people that were at the reception was very friendly and helpful. Hotel is 3 stops away from central train station. The tram number is 26. Free wifi is good. Did not eat at the hotel so no comments on the food. Supermarket is right across the hotel. You can buy your food and drinks there if you d like. Tram is only 5 min walking distance. You can […] see it right behind the hotel. It is a funky hotel with interesting pieces of furniture scattered around. Make sure to have a room with closed shower area. The one we had had a closed off one but did not have a door to the bathroom. Make sure you are prepared to hear anything from the bathroom area which you already experienced earlier at your home and you are comfortable with the people you are going :-) Les mer

Really nice staff. Clean rooms. Very nice environment where you can breathe the history of the building. Good variation of rooms. Fron 1-5 star rooms, fitting the wallet of a backpacker or a high-roller.

We were staying at Lloyd hotel for 2 nights, the beginning of the new year. The hotel has a very good atmosphere, staff is very helpful. We were staying in 1star room with shared bathroom. The room was great, extremely huge, with a very comfy bed. Bedroom and bathroom were clean.Hotel is located on the tram/train/bus line, 2 stops from the central Station.You […] can also use a library, and leisure room for kids, there are also computers/internet you can use anytime. The hotel was in a good location but a little far if you are wanting very late nights as the last tram was at 12.40pm. The staff were very friendly and helpful we had a 3 star room and it was great. The inforamtion about the History of the hotle was great and we walked up all 6 flights of stairs reading about it and looking at the pictures, this gave […] the hotel a personel touch. Les mer
"The worst hotel I ever stayed in"
This was by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed in! And I've stayed in hotels, budget and expensive, all over the world. The receptionist (a young man) made us wait for hours for our room even though there was no need for this and we had bags and dogs and were exhausted and he was very, very rude. The room itself was so bad it was funny! It had no […] window - so just like a prison - and the bathtub was right in the center of the room, so no privacy from whoever you are sharing the room with, and the whole bathroom itself was a nasty orange monstrosity, sort of like a porta-potty, right in the center of the room. One of the ugliest things I've seen! A really, really horrible hotel, so horrible it's wacky and comical. Very nice area of Amsterdam though and the cafe downstairs was very nice. Les mer

Wow, A different experience, but one to remember for the good. The hotel is situated less than 5 mins by tram to city centre and looks out onto river. Our room was fantastic with superking size bed and the softest most comfortable bed!!!! Recomended stay with great customer service as well!!!
