"Good value"
For the price the place is clean and convenient. Yes the other reviews are right. HARD BEDS. The cable connections could use some work too. I wouldn't stay here a week, but it was great for a cheap weekend.

Let's face it - if you don't want to spend a fortune for a night's sleep in the Berkshires, the only option is a motel, and the Rodeway was just fine for what we needed. The continental breakfast was better than we expected, and the location was good.

"Ok for the price, didn't expect much"
The rom I had was dark even whe the sun was out, even though it had two small windows. The room was farily clean but there was hair on the tille wall in the bathroom. The beds were very hard, if you like a firm mattress, you'd like sleeping here.The continental breakfast was no frils and very difficult to navigate due to the small serving space and […] no seating is provided, it's a strictly grab and go thing. It's cheap and the location is convenient to everything on route 7/20 it's set up on a hill and back fom the busy route so you don't hear the traffic. Les mer

When we checked in there were no wash clothes and not enough towels for 4 people. The shower did not work and there was a piece of tape on the side of the tub because there was a hole there and we were forced to take a bath and water was leaking on the floor, The bathroom door was swollen and made so much noise in the middle of the night, it woke everyone […] up every time someone use the restroom. The place was run down and I would not stay again. We paid too much for that room. Les mer
It was too expensive for what you got. A group of people showed up at midnight and partied next for two hours. I couldn't reach anyone at the front desk to tell them to shut up.

no reason to pay more....this place is clean, has everything you need, including bagels, cheerios and bananas, coffee in the morning. Short 3 miles to Tanglewood...

Typical motel, nothing special, but with a convenient location, close to kids' summer camps and skiing in the winter. Pool is beautiful. Service wasn't great: The woman at the reception desk was efficient but not very friendly or pleasant and was reluctant to give us extra towels for the pool. Room was not sparkling, but satisfactorily clean. The kids […] were upset (and so were we!) when they noticed that there was an obscene drawing in pen next to the door behind the ironing board. We did not report it, however, to the woman at the front desk as she did not seem the type to invite comments. The continental breakfast was minimal and we opted to go to a diner. We would stay here again due to the convienient location, economical considerations (compared to other places in the area) and basic comfort. Les mer

"Terrible stay!"
This hotel was in a great location for us to go see the James Taylor concert at Tanglewood. It's just down the road. When we checked in at 2pm, our room door was open. We walked in and the floor was mess. All sorts of grass/hay everywhere like a horse had stayed in our room. Room was dirty. Service SUCKED, from check in to trying to get our room cleaned […] up. Tissue box in the bathroom was soaking wet and oddly colored, not sure what was up with that. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and I wasn't able to sleep at all. Would never stay here again, would prefer a tent in a field next time. Not worth the $$$. Only thing it had going for it was the location. Oh and it also smelled pretty bad. Terrible stay! Les mer

The price was right and it was very convenient to much more expensive Lenox and Stoughton. The rooms were clean, but there was some renovations in process.

First they put us in a room that had no lights in the bathroom, no heat and then spiders in the bathtub.

very poor .... duck taped A/C which barely had any power ... water pressure was a trickle in the shower .. the steps or small deck outside our room was falling down ... very old place in need of updating.

This is an older motel. Room was clean, little noise, fairly close to center of town. Breakfast is very limited, but for the money the motel was a good choice.

"Good location"
The only problem we had was that the we paid through hotels.com and had the confirmation that our credit card was charged. The hotel clerk still took our credit card and said that hotels.com would give us our money back if we paid him again. It sounded fishy. I don't know if he was confused, or trying to pull a fast one, but it made us uncomfortable. […] We will not go there again. It was our third time there and we did not have a problem with other clerks in the past. For the money, it was an OK motel. Not the greatest, but we did not expect much more for the price. It was clean and a good location for us and that is all we wanted. It would have been fine, if we did not have the problem with our payment. Hopefully we will not see additional charges on our credit card statement when it arrives! Les mer

Just be sure to pack bedroom slippers. The carpet was dirty. not too far from Tanglewood to go home between events on the same day.

The Hotel was attractive and comfortable. All the ameneties were in good functioning order (refrigerator, Microwave) but the TV had very poor reception. Being a one-story building, it was quiet. the Continental breakfast was light (Coffee juice and a bagel). All in all a pleasant stay

Close to Tanglewood and the Lee outlet stores. For the price, it was definitely a find. Not fancy, but clean and convenient with very polite staff.

I've stayed at this hotel twice now. It's centrally located for my yearly get togethers with my sister. It's the halfway point for both of us (we are one state apart). We've always gotten a great price and the service has been very good. It's not a four star hotel, but it's clean, the staff is friendly and they usually let us check in early. It's located […] across the street from the village police department which is a cool safety factor, but it's in a nice area of Lee, close to the outlets and the cute little downtown area. Les mer

Het is geen hotel maar een motel, met kleine kamers waar alles in zit. Het ligt rustig en mooi. De auto staat voor de deur.
