Hotellet er jo helt greit og har en standard man kan forvente av et eldre hotell. Greia er at det ligger om trent PAA Oakland Park Boulevard og det trafikken er tung! Skal man ligge paa dette hotellet boer man forsoke aa faa et rom paa baksiden av hotellet. Dessuten kommer toget ofte forbi og tuter noe voldsomt ved hver passering. Was a horrible stay and I should have been compt for 5 nights at another hotel

The room smelled bad, very noisy, very scary neighborhood, if I hadn't already paid, we would not have stayed there.

we stayed for 3 nights. the 1st night we where at the front of the hotel which faces a very busy intersection with a train crossing. the next night we where moved to the back of the hotel it's alot quite and got more sleep.

This is great for the price, close to the Hwgy, restaurant, shopping mall, flea market, bank, car wash, fast food. Bottom line is, I would recommend this hotel. The only problem, the Amtrack train is close by. But you get use to it

Nicebotel for money. Not the greatest neighborhood. The hotel is next to railroad tracks, which is a bit annoying . However the hotel is clean and has a really nice honest staff

The room stunk of smoke... Not my favorite when I know I requested a non-smoking room... Stains on carpet, shower and bedding... GROSS.... I wake up to make coffee and a cockroach flew out of the coffee supplies.... GROSS.... The price was ridiculous for what I got... I went with a name brand and had luck with Days Inn in the past... Excellent service staff. Would stay there again!

The bathroom was filthy, mold and something else. The staff tried to charge a mandatory $2 fee to use the telephone. Trains came on the hour, the crossing is around a thousand feet from the hotel. Many things going on in the parking lot all night. I have over twenty bites on my body, not bedbugs, something else.

The hotel is located right next to a railroad track that gets used about every 30 minutes and being next to a main road blasts its horn! The carpeting in the room was so filthy that shoes had to be worn, spots were wet. The tile floor in the bathroom was also very dirty. I threw a towel down and walked on that. In the morning after our showers I put […] the blanket, sheet and comforter on the floor to walk on so our feet wouldn't get dirty again. We had signed up for transportation to the cruiseport leaving at 11:00 AM. When we arrived at the office they were running over an hour late so we did not even leave the hotel until almost 1:00. The continental breakfast promised consised of coffee, donuts and cereal. The donuts had been frozen so they were soggy. The oj machine was out of order. The foot traffic outside our room was constant. In the early morning their employee was sweeping and shoveling debris off the sidewalk and parking areas making a lot of noise. A complaint to the manager was made, by us and several others, and we were told they were doing the best they could do. While we were waiting for our shuttle at least 3 people came in to get a room and were quoted 300% more than what we paid. WE WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PARTICULAR DAYS INN. Les mer

there were roaches and ants in the rooms i had to hide food stuff in refrigerator

I was in a non smoking room(non smoking floor), yet you could smell smoke coming through the walls/ floors.

Wasn't pleased with the transportation, waited at the mall for 1 1/2 hours till we got picked up and got charged $30 for it. need to specify in website about the shuttle service of the cost.

The hotel was suppose to have been newly remodeled... it was not.... The room smelled with smoke... and the bathroom tub look like it had not ever been cleaned. I am sorry to say this was not a good experience. They also told us they had a shuttle from the airport... but forgot to tell us it didn't run all the time... so we ended up having to pay a […] cab bill..and the shuttle from the Cruise line only ran going to cruise.... not returning as well. the hotel was not that bad but the railway next to it was a huge problem to me. i had trouble sleeping at nights and early morning the train made loud noises that either kept me up or woke me up. i would never return to that Days Inn Hotel at Oakland Park Fort Lauderdale.

Good for a come late leave early stay. Trains do come by with regularity. Convienent for an over night stop. Coffee maker didn't work.

Hotel was dirty with huge waterbugs in the room.. The outside lights were not on so total darkness in the back where our room was. Once reported to the early morning clerk on duty could have cared less. total staff and mangement very indifferent needs bug exterminator!!!

A LITTLE UPDATE TO HOTEL WOULD B NICE,

The railroad line is a right next to property ! Load trains blowing horns pass by every 5-10 mins all day and most of the night. Very hard to sleep. Busy, congested area. No resurants close by. They forced me to pay extra $2 at checkin for 'phone' (even though did not use) - over guar. prepaid price at Hotels.com

PAID FOR KING BED ROOM 30 DAYS IN ADVANCED ROOM WAS GIVEN AWAY SO MY HUSBAND AND I HAD DOUBLE BEDS. TOILET WAS BROKE AND HAD TO REACH IN AND MANUALLY FLUSH. ANTS IN ROOM. DOOR ON ROOM WRONG SIZE COULD SEE OUTSIDE. COMPLAINED TO STAFF.

This is the worst place in the world...just pure nasty and I'm amazed that hotel.com would actually advertise this Days Inn. Totally discusting, dirty, was not worth the money, what a rip off....and the staff totally useless!!!!!

I really don't have anything good to say about this hotel, other than that the staff at check-in was really friendly. And that only goes so far. As other reviewers have said, the hotel is in poor condition. Items which need repair aren't really repaired so much as they are patched - ceiling texture, holes in the walls, windows and doors, etc. The room […] didn't at all feel clean, as there was hair in the sink and the tub from prior occupants. I really wanted to get out of there ASAP! Something in this condition really should command a much lower price than I paid for my stay! Our room was on the front side of the hotel, so there was lots of road noise from the busy road. That back side of the hotel may be quieter, but I think that being on the road side is a bit safer. The neighborhood isn't the best I've seen. And of course there's the issue of the train tracks just a few hundred feet away, with Amtrak trains blowing their horns at the crossing quite regularly. If you're used to peace and quiet while sleeping, this is absolutely not the place; you will get very little sleep. And then as a final slap in the face, there's a charge at check-out to cover use of the phone and the safe in the room. I didn't see mention of this on the hotels.com website and wasn't told about this at check-in. Just another example of trying to milk just a bit more cash out of guests, I guess. So in summary, definitely not a place I'd ever consider staying again. No question. There's much nicer lodging in the city that can be had for a similar price. Les mer

We took this for simply an overnight stay thinking it would be close to the Airport and found out their shuttle wasn't running so we had to take a cab which cost $30 since they were so far away. The shower backed up into the rest of the bathroom the breakfast was less than desirable, there is a train that runs allllll night which keeps waking you up. […] It is a crap hotel don't go here it is not worth it. the front desk staff didn't seem very helpful a bit tisty, however the drive staff was great. If we ask the desk about a ride the answer was always no but if we talked to the drive staff they were more then helpfull. We have always stayed at Days Inn but if this had been our first time we would not go back to them.

The hotel is good but as for customer service they suck big time. The girls at the counter they are very rude.when you ask them a question they give you very nasty responses.Especially there was one that wad pregnant very rude. Another thing watch your bills because they would throw a charge on you and would not tell you.

The surrounding area and population of the hotel had me and three of my friends sleeping with one eye open the whole night. Everything was fine but the quality and location wouldn't send me back ever. Okay for guys or a family maybe but wouldn't recommend for four 21 year old girls.

I really hate to give a hotel a bad rating. I am an entertainer and often the venue puts me up in a hotel, so I have been in some really "bad" places. This one offers a challenge! The front desk staff was as good as I have run into, at any level. I asked about Wi-Fi, the lady said, "Do you have your laptop? Get it and I'll get you logged on." How nice. The […] room "looked" basically clean but showed wear. Instead of replacing damaged items, they have patched and painted. A hole in the shower door had a patch job that a high school freshman in shop class could have done better. Painted over areas on the walls made it look like an art project. lack of effort. Major alert time! The soap dish in the shower still had left over soap! Made me wonder about other areas. The major problem is location!!!! There is a train track right next to the hotel. It is part of the AMTRAK and the area commuter rail system. Here is what I know. The 4AM train is on time, every day. The 4:45 is on time every day. The train was not the problem. The issue was the requirement that they blow their horn when approaching a crossing! This hotel, at least when I was there, had a lot of construction crews. So around 6AM the trucks fired up, horns honked to summon the masses (both days). Bottom line...hard place to get a good nights sleep! Les mer

Hotel had broken dresser drawers, TV that did not work well, heat/AC unit was broken, mold on ceiling in bathroom, toilet bowl was ready to fall over, spider webs on ceiling, and hair on all of the sheets and towels.

We had 3 rooms for 12 people. 2 of the 3 had bugs EVERYWHERE it was dirty and very uncomfortable. We figured it would be ok since we were only staying for 6 hours before traveling on to the keys. Not the case or was HORRIBLE!!!!! There is a train right next to the hotel and it ran all night blowing the horn. Would not recommend to my worst enemy.

i just have one thing to say.. someone broke my car window to brake in to my car! and ofcourse the hotel is not responsible for it.

Smelly room, description said complimentary breakfast when in fact should say continental. Stained bathroom, smelly towels. Staff was friendly.

We stayed for 2 nights it was noisey both nights. The room was not clean there was still a cover for a razor on the floor in the bathroom foot prints in the bath tub. The day we were leaving I saw some sort of bug when I was fixing my hair and then we saw what looked like a bed bug on the bed. I have been very worried about bringing bed bugs home with […] us. I have never seen a bug in any other room we have ever stayed in. They need to clean better and make sure these rooms are bug free. Les mer

This place is an all around dump and in a sketchy neighborhood. It is 10 feet from the train tracks and 15 feet from I-95, making the noise intolerable. Rooms are dirty (our bathroom had a dead cockroach in the corner) and the hotel shuttle took 1 hour and 15 minutes to pick us up from FLL. The staff were very courteous, however. This hotel charges an additional $2/day on top of what you pay for w/hotels.com. They say "it's for the phone and safe in the room whether you use it or not". Sounds like hotels.com needs to fine tune their relationship w/this hotel.

The stay was ok but I wouldn't stay there again.

Mike, the guy in charge of the Hotel at night has bad manners. The neighborhood is dangerous, so as we have seen somebody suspicious, we ask Mike to call the police but he refused to do it! We felt very insecure!!

I was very disappointed with the service this hotel provided me. The washroom was dirty, hence couldnt even take a wash. The towels they provided were stained and the bedroom smelled of cigarette smoke. Although they had mentioned that it was a non-smoking room, it didn't look like one. The bathroom shower was clogged..I informed the frond desk on Monday and they said it would be taken care of. I finally check of early and the problem was never fixed.

The hotel romm, its cleam and confortable.

I really enjoyed it.It was close to where I had to travel to.
