Cowboy Village Resort - Jackson

We stayed here the last day of ski season, so there were actually not a lot of people there, making it quiet and uncrowded. Only thing is, the cabins are built very close together and considering there are 80 something on the site, makes privacy a little harder. Also, the beds weren't quite as comfy as they could be.

Clean, I'm a clean freak so I would def say something although the carpet was dark red so it was hard to tell. The cabin style theme is cool especially since the rooms are not connected. Stayed in a queen. Bathroom was nice. Cute kitchenette. It was dark in the room though during the day even though there were plenty of windows but I guess this is cabin […] style. Hot tub was nice. Request a room away from the maintenance area/pool. It woke us up as we were right across the street from them. Continental breakfast for a resort was pretty cheap and for Jackson. Little muffins, bagels, cereal, apples, yogurt. Free coffee but not good. I would stay here again Les mer

The little cabin is perfect for a couple. It is small, but comfortable and cozy. The bed is very nice, great pillows, and updated. We did not use the kitchenette, but if we stayed more than a couple days it would have been very useful. It is close to the town square, only a couple blocks away. Great place, will definitely stay again.

The staff was very friendly, room was clean, plenty of extra pillows, blankets, grounds well kept, right by public transit & close to center of town square. We had a great time & the price was very reasonable for having your own cabin with a covered porch! Loved it & will stay here again!

I love this place. We had our own cute little cabin. We have a Lab dog and they allow pet for free! Other hotels charges at least $25/night for a pet. But Cowboy Village Resort doesn't charge for pet which is amazing! I will definitely return to this place.

Very cozy private cabin and clean. I will stay there again. Nice heated small pool and hot tub continental breakfast was plentiful.

Room was cramped for five people. It was very helpful for us to be located across from the office to use the additional restroom facilities. Continental breakfast was very good. Staff was very helpful.

This place is just amazing. In the heart of Jacksonhole close to everything and the price is unbeatable. The cabins are addorable and have a kitchenette so we saved on food too. The most important bonus? It's pet friendly, so we could take our pup with us :-), This place is a 10+. This was our second time here. Would recomend to

We enjoyed the cowboy Village in Jackson Hole, very nice accommodations, walking distance to shopping and dinning. Easy to find. Great all around.

The only problem we had was the housekeeper waking us up at 0830. Nice people and cabins. Free axe sun tan lotion, body wash, and shampoo.

Cowboy Village Resort cabin was exectly what we were looking for. We wanted a place to relax after the Christmas holiday. The cabin was clean and well appointed. My only complaints are the uncomfortable couch and very limited breakfast selections. Nice place. We will be staying there again in the future.

Cowboy Village is not just another hotel. We booked because of the actual cabins, and got exactly what we could have hoped for. We just needed the Queen suite, and it was plenty of room for the two of us and our pooch. Real wood, cozy, toasty warm if you want it to be, great shower, parked right in front of our front door, and great views all around. […] Guest laundry onsite which we did use and was great. Free breakfast in the morning, and coffee/juice/hot chocolate available ALL day. Great experience, and we will definitely be staying at Cowboy Village next time. Les mer

Overall the cabins are great. If your looking for something other than the usual hotel this is it. We are a family of three and the cabin was quite cozy (small) to say the least. In the winter walking to down town would be quite a walk. They allowed us to have the wife's little dog and that is a huge plus.

I enjoyed teh heck out of my stay at the Cowboy Village! My own personal cabin with kitchenette, and charcoal grill? How cool is that? Pool & hot tub near by of course, and the hotel itself just just on the edge of the dining, drinking and shopping part of Jackson so we could leave the car and walk to town. A great choice and a nice change from ordinary […] hotels and motels. Les mer

Verry nice cabins, buitifull surroundings and close to all the shops. Outstanding overall.

I love staying at the Cowboy village, it has been a place I have visited many times. My one and only complaint is that they need some new beds, it was not a great mattress. Other then that the location is great and we loved staying in the cozy cabin atmosphere. We will definately stay there again.

This was a nice log cabin. My only warning is that the bedroom walls do not go to the ceiling, so there is no escaping snoring. If you want to keep an ear out for the kids, this is a great idea. If you are trying to put a wall between you and your snoring companion, the walls don't mute sound, they amplify it.

The location is very good and the cottage was very clean. Property is well kept. One bad thing is the beds, they have no support, my husband and I could not sleep very well in those beds. Anyhow, we enjoyed our stay there, just short of sleep.

The Resort was hard to find but it was within easy walking distance of the centre of Jackson. The cabin was quiet and set in a nice location. Parking was adjacent to the room which could be a problem at times. The cabin was well appointed with a mini kitchen but the main deficiency was the poor lighting. It was not possible to see yourself in the mirror […] in the poor lighting. The bedding was not comfortable and old. No place for suitcases to be placed either. Les mer

We were looking for a hotel in Jackson and when we found the cabins we knew this was what we were looking for. It was a very small, but nice, little log cabin. We felt we were in the back country while we were in the middle of the town. It was very nice, and clean.

Cabins are very small but have everything needed. Breakfast room had coffee in tiny cups and nothing else. Even a Motel 6 does better in this regard.

We were very impressed with the resort. We only stayed one night and didn't use the weight room or other facilities so cannot rate them. We left early in the morning before the office was open and realized when we got to the airport that a bag containing a laptop and printer had been left behind. We returned to get the bag and the woman at the desk […] opened our room even though it was still before regular hours and we actually made it to our flight. Les mer

We stayed in a queen bunk sized cabin. We were surprised by how small it was. I don't know how more than two people could fit in there, even if everyone remained standing! The water heater is too small and left the second person with a cold shower....and it took a really long time to reheat. We really liked this place. It felt like an outdoor cabin in the woods sort of. It was nice for the kids to be able to play outdoors. Only a couple things I would improve on. The carpets were pretty filthy. The cabin itself was very nice albeit small, but the bedspreads were noticebly old and kind of dingey. If the carpets were cleaned or replaced and […] the bedspreads were replaced with new ones, this place would seem like new. We enjoyed cooking out in front of our cabin and the fact that we could cook pretty much whatever we needed to in the kitchenette! People are usually on the go in Jackson Hole, so it would be better if the hotel could provide a little better breakfast other than just coffee, hot chocolate, a piece of fruit and cookies. But overall really nice and I would recommend it, and we would stay again. If you have kids and you want them to go to bed earlier, I would recommend the larger cabins so that you can shut the door to the bedroom. Les mer

We truley enjoy staying at Cowboy Village...it is quite, comfortable and a great location. We have stayed in both the winter and summ, just for fun, becasue we had the dogs and we could let them out in the yard in front of our room and the third stay was simply becasue we have enjoyed our previous stays. We love the privacy of each cabin, and it is […] more then just a room with a bed, being able to sit at the table and eat, or relax on the couch while watching TV....the kitchenett is great too...and I love the soap, shampoo and lotion they provide. Stayed one night on our way to yellowstone. Kids loved the pool and having our own "cabin". Motel is clean and well maintained. Pool and room are small, but were perfect for our needs. Small kitchenette a bonus. Within walking distance of the main drag.

We took our Grandchildren (ages 12 & 7)on a two week vacation to the Tenon's and Yellowstone. I had read several reviews on Cowboy Village and I am so happy I book this hotel. The kid's loved the front porch and since we had a bedroom and living room we had lot's of space. The place was clean and had everything we needed even Hot Coco for my grandson […] in the front office any time he wanted it. Would go back again and will tell everyone I know if they go to Jackson to stay here. LOVED IT. Les mer

Loved having our own cabin for two nights, though they are placed close together. Plenty of grills on-site to move around to a particular cabin as needed. Close enough to walk to the main drag in Jackson but in a quiet location which is what we wanted. Each cabin has its own kitchenette and table and chairs on a covered porch. We grilled our meals and […] made breakfast in the kitchenette. Cabinets well-stocked with plates, silverware, BBQ tools, etc. The picnic table on the front porch could be a little bigger; it was a tight squeeze, but that's our only complaint. We didn't realize that this place was pet-friendly, and we don't know if they have pet-free cabins, but it didn't smell like pets at all in ours. Les mer

We were traveling with a dog. Cowboy Village was very accommodating and welcomed our pooch. Grounds were very clean. We enjoyed our stay.

The staff were very friendly. The grounds and rooms were very well maintained. You could not ask for a more beautiful setting or more convenient location with shopping and restraunts within walking distance. It was a very pleasant stay-we cannot wait to return. We did not have our pets with us but others did and everyone was respectful.

The cabins are small for the $$$ and ours was at the rear of the complex and faced the neighbor's fence with skis. Otherwise it's overpriced for the unit. The pool smelled of excessive clorine.

Cowboy village resort is a clean, well maintained set of small cabins set on the edge of the residential neigborhood on one side and the tourist center nearby on the other. The staff is helpful and friendly enough and the resort is actually quite quiet, which is a good thing after a day surrounded by thousands of other tourists in town and in the Teton […] trails. The town center is within walking distance, a bonus in Jackson since parking is limited and traffic is super busy. The downside to the resort is the price, which is expensive even for a private cabin, though the owners charge what the market will bear. The continental breakfast is limited, with small coffee cups and limited food, though there are coffee makers in the cabins which can make two cups per batch. The cabins are smaller than we thought, but we grew accustomed as our five day stay wore on and it did not turn out to be an issue. All in all we enjoyed our stay, though we did pay a bit more than we felt we recieved in return. Les mer

The perfect spot! Jackson village is all walking distance with great food and shopping, the Pass road into Idaho is right around the bend with breathtaking views, and Teton National Park was spectacular! Cowboy Village is quaint and cozy, the staff is friendly and the rooms are decent. A perfect place to stay!

Tiny cabins, but everything you need are in them. The three of us (including teenage son) were a bit cramped but no real problem. Very clean, very cute. Easy walk to downtown Jackson. The extras shows that the management of Cowboy Village cares--much more than chains. This is a special place. Not luxury, but very nice and memorable.

Great rustic stay. Warmth when needed. Would recommend Cowboy Village fir anyone wanting a cabin experience, but still want the comfort of home.

This was a real cute log cabin - nice atmosphere for Jackson, Wyoming. Cabin was clean, and area was quiet, away from the main street. Very nice. I would stay there again.
