Helt OK, man får det man betaler for når det gjelder rom. Lite men har alt man trenger, dusjen lakk desverre litt på det rommet vi fikk og vi fikk ikke seng, men sovesofa noe som var veldig skuffende samt at den knirket voldsomt bare man lirket litt på lilletåa mens man lå der. Snill og hjelpsomme resepsjonister forøvrig. Grei beligenhet, drosjesjaføren […] som tok oss fra flyplassen og til hotellet hadde desverre noe problemer med å finne frem, selv med hjelp fra gps. Ikke noe mer en helt ok og billig, det at det er så billig skinner desverre mye mer gjennom enn hva jeg hadde trodd så kommer nok ikke til å velge dette hoteller når/hvis jeg drar tilbake. Les mer

Very nice staff, great location, clean and tidy rooms.

Not only was this hotel inexpensive, it was also everything we needed for our four day romantic trip to Bordeaux. Since our budget was tight, we wanted the most bang for our buck, and we feel we got that from the City Residence Bordeaux les Chartrons. Checking in was easy, and the staff was helpful and spoke English. The room was spacious and clean, […] and so was the bathroom. The room was equipped with a practical kitchenette, and airconditioning was installed. We were impressed! Les Chartrons is about two kilometers or so from the city centre, but there is a tram going every five minutes or so until quite late at night. Tickets are inexpensive if you buy a week pass or something like that. The tram is going to save your feet and also make the trip between the train station and the hotel, which is about four or five kilometers, a lot easier. We are both quite used to staying at more expensive hotels than this, and still we had a feeling that we could relax and get our sleep at the City Residence. The room was so quiet and comfortable! I would absolutely recommend the City Residence Bordeaux les Chartrons to anyone that wants a comfortable stay to a very reasonable price. Les mer

As Bordeaux is small, you needn't be at the exact heart of the city to be able to walk around. This one's a 25-min walk from the city centre but neighborhood is safe to walk to/fro late at night, alone, female. As far as the room, as long as you aren't expecting a 4-star hotel, you'll be fine. The City Residence was a mid-grade hotel. It was a fair cost for what was offered. It is very close to the city center, and maybe 5 minutes from the city tram. Therefore, I found this a good stay if you are sight-seeing Bordeaux on a budget. The surrounding neighborhood looks a little sketchy, but I had no problems. The breakfast is simple but good. […] The staff are helpful, though the lobby hours are a little odd. I did like the kitchenette, making it possible to go grocery shopping and come back to cook, they even provided a variety of dishes and cooking utensils (though you will need supplies to wash them). Overall, I would recommend this to anyone traveling on a budget, and I would stay there again. Les mer

The hotel desk is not open 24 hours and there is no maid service. It is near a metro stop, which is nice. However, the streets you have to walk down to get to it are creepy and dirty. There were feces on the street and a nauseating smell. I would not stay in this part of town again. The downtown area near the Grand Theater was fairly clean and well […] kept. Les mer

The hotel was fine, the room was clean. The area is good to get to town and to the river side during the day, but not that comfortable by night. Also: there is no one at the reception during the evening, so they make you call a number to check in: expensive with a foreign phone. We could also not get out in the evening and had to climb over the gate. […] We did get back in. Les mer

The hostel/appartment was wonderful. Good size room, all the necessary utensils, clean linen, clean towels, spotless bathroom. Close to supermarket and tram line into the city. Helpful assistants at reception.

Very convenient hotel located in the centre of Bordeaux. Rooms are small apartments, ideal for families like us with two children. Kitchen and fridge also very handy, we arrived late and the automated system for access was perfect but I missed instructions to use the car park. Luckily, friendly owner of Pizzeria on the square let us have his parking […] space after he closed for the day. Would definitely use again, next time we will try to stay at least a couple of days to enjoy the city. Les mer

To begin with, the directions that we got were not very accurate or clear. On Sunday there is no one there after 1pm and you need to be able to call, so unless you have a cell phone this is not very easy. The "bed" (which was actually a sofa-bed) was not very comfortable. The hotel is very shabby. When I arrived the lights weren't working on the 3rd floor. The room itself needs to be renovated... a lot of chips and dents on the walls. Tub caulking was gross. No plugs for the tub or sink. TV looked like it came from a garage sale, and there were no instructions provided on how to operate the TV or room phone.

Cheap, does what it says on the tin. Asked for wine glasses for room, still waiting, asked for extra pillows,still waiting, asked for corkscrew-gave up. There for two days, bed not even remade. Will go elsewhere & pay extra next time but if it's only somewhere to bed down, go ahead.

This residence is similar to a students hall of residence - basic but functional. The studios are smallish but well equiped. The studio could have been maintained better, for example, there was a light fitting missing and rust in the bathroom. However, given its location - near the centre of Bordeaux - overall it was a good ratio price/quality.

We arrived at 9:00 pm and there was no one there, luckily another guest opened the lobby door for us. From the picture there was a bed and a sofa, and the ad said 'additional amenities' include a sofa bed... but there was only a sofa bed. The dishes included were not even close to being clean. The fridge didn't work so they moved us to another room […] which also had dirty dishes put away in the cabinet, but was lacking a bottle opener and a frying pan. The sofa bed was so bad I didn't get much sleep and my girlfriend slept on the floor. After the first night in this place I had itchy rashes all over my legs and arms. Other than having fairly restrictive reception hours this is a great hotel. The rooms are nice and spacious and the location is near the river. The price on hotel rooms is very reasonable and there's a good sized public parking space in front of the hotel.

This hotel looked okey from the outside. It is a 20 min walking distance to the city centre but if the weather is nice you can walk along the river towards the centre. Our main complaint about this place was that there was no bed in the room only a sofabed made for two with a thin mattress. It was really uncomfortable and we ended up putting the mattress […] on the floor. The room was also dusty and poorly cleaned. There was no towels in the room and when asking the receptionist about having some I received one towel and had to ask for a second for my friend. Les mer

Very, very basic make sure you read the smallprint carefully. Room is only cleaned once a week. Air conditioner was broken before our arrival, staff couldn't care less about fixing it. Wouldn't even give us a fan instead. Moving to another room was also impossible. Sofa bed only in room. Only one set of towels and a pillow in a room booked for two. […] No-one on reception on arrival to fix this. Next day, took repeated requests to rectify this. No saucepan in a self-catering room. As other reviews have suggested, City Residence is a bit difficult to find. Here are some directions: From the airport, get on either the Jet'Bus service (€7) or the number 1 bus (€1.40) and get off at either Gambetta or Quinconces where it is possible to get on the tram (Line 2-Red) heading towards Claveau. Get off the tram at Cours de Medoc and walk […] back in the direction you have come from, over the Cours de Medoc road and on your right, after around 200 yards, you will find a road called Rue de Poyenne, go down this road for another couple of hundred yards and then take a left (it will be the first available left turn) walk straight on and you will come into a square, look directly to your left and you should see the hotel. As for the hotel itself, for what I payed, I was very happy. I have stayed in better hotels but I have had to pay substantially more money for the privelage. This hotel is excellent value for money and the basics are good, ie. clean bedroom, clean bathroom, which I find important. It can get noisy if you get a room on the second floor, as my friend did, as there are some double doors half way down the corridor which bang closed quite loudly. All rooms are fully air conditioned (no extra cost) and have a kitchenette complete with fridge, stove, sink and utensils. It is possible to get into the city quickly by simply walking back to the tram stop at Cours de Medoc and getting on the tram heading towards Pessac. All in all, although this hotel is a bit out of the way it really is a good bargain. I would recommend you give it a look, Les mer

It is unaceptable that hotel reception closes at 8 pm and the after hours service is not able to give you a solution. Moreover, I don´t understand why hotels.com could not contact the hotel´s manager to sort out this problem. Definitely, it seems to me that customer is not important both for the hotel and for hotels.com.

je le conseille en centre ville commodité avec tramway parfait pour visiter la ville je le recommande d'ailleurs c'est la 2 e fois que je le reserve

Bon rapport qualité prix. localisation et proximité tram. Ventilation bruillante Prévoir produit vaisselle et éponge si vous voulez utiliser la vaisselle fourni sur place.

Le ménage n'est pas fait dans les détails, on reste collés au sol, la paroi douche est pleine de traces, le couvercle des toilettes était sale, etc ... La compréhension des lieux est nulle : le lit est situé dans un angle, il faut rentrer par les pieds ! Le chauffage de la salle de bain donne directement sur le porte manteau/serviettes parfait pour […] mettre le feu ! La cuvette des WC serait tournée dans l'autre sens, on pourrait y accéder convenablement, là on y est en biais. Sortir de la baignoire est un exercice périlleux à moins de se tenir à la paroi de douche ... Le poste de télé est bien trop loin du lit, on ne voit rien. Attention on annonce parking, il y en a bien un sécurisé mais on a oublié de vous dire que c'était payant ! 8 €uros la nuit ! Mais ce qui est le comble de tout c'est l'absence de ménage ! Personnel tres à l'ecoute , situation au centre de bordeaux. Séjour très sympathique passé dans cet hôtel, avec le personnel fort sympathique et à l'ecoute des clients.

サントルという名前がついていますが、中心市街ではなく、シャルトロンにあります。 空港から①番のバスに乗り、カンコンスでトラムのB線に乗り換え、シャルトロンで降り、そこから徒歩でホテルまで向かいました。住宅街の中にあるので、夜間は人通りが少なく、少し怖い感じがするかもしれません。 シャワーだけでなく、湯船があるので助かりました。インターネットの接続が無料とのことですが、四時間までですので、長期滞在する場合は、時間数に応じて、支払いが必要でしょう。公衆WIFIの電波が総じて弱いので、少し不便でした。 この点を除けば、日本のビジネス・ホテルのような感じで、このお値段では十分な施設でした。朝食は別料金で頼むことが出来ますが、私は頼みませんでした。 ホテルの傍にはイタリアン・レストランしかありませんが […] 、数百メートル歩けば、スーパーやパン屋などがあります。川沿いにはバーやレストランもあります。 周囲の徒歩圏内にはあまり観光スポットがないのですが、トラムやバスといった公共交通が整備されているので、それを活用すれば、立地はあまり気になりませんでした。 Les mer

situation intéressante proche des quais, avec tram à proximité. réception ouverte vers 8h30 ( à prendre en compte pour lève-tôt !). prévoir aussi un téléphone (vérifier sur confirmation le n° ) pour accéder en dehors des heures d'ouverture du bureau. Hotel propre et calme, un peu impersonnel . Le pdj est un peu cher à 8,50€.

Venant à l’hôtel une journée tous les ans depuis 5 ans, nous avons pu assister au vieillissement progressif de cet hôtel. Hôtel dont les mots travaux et rénovations n'ont pas mis les pieds depuis longtemps. Douche, clim et mobilier étaient cassés, dommage...
