It's very unnerving to come back to your room after a hard day's sightseeing and find your hotel room door standing open. When we called the front desk to ask what was up, they said, "Well, did you leave it open?" Of course not! "Well, our maids are very conscientious about that sort of thing, so ..." Implication being that we had to have been at fault. […] This, despite maintenance coming in during the day to fix the noisy refrigerator we had complained about. Nothing was stolen, but a discount or even an apology would have been nice instead of an insult. Les mer

We lived in Kerrville while the Inn of the Hills was being built but never had the chance to take advantage of it's services. We were impressed by the cleanliness and comfort of our room. It's convenient location was accessible to different highways and did not have to go through town. The grounds were also sell groomed and the breakfast bar a dlig […] ht. Les mer

The hotel offered a restaurant, room service, and very nice pool area. We had two double beds and I felt our room was a little small (too much furniture for the space provided). Beds were comfortable and rooms were cleaned promptly every morning. The hotel restaurant and bar were convenient and the pool was one of the best we've found at hotels for […] this price. Very clean nice updates!!! Great location - Coffee at bFast was fantastic but miss the hot bFast buffet on weekdays.

Would not stay here again. Advertised continental breakfast; stayed 5 nights and only one continental breakfast - thought this was very odd. We were given a ticket for breakfast for continental free or the option of a few dollars off the large buffet breakfast. When we went to breakfast, waitress took our ticket and said it was good for one day only. […] We were on the go early every morning so this was an inconvenience. Another issue was the nosiness of the refrigerator- kept us up the first night, so we unplugged it for the remaining 4 nights. Asked for first level, got upstairs - this seems to happen every time we book online. Was very crowded Fri and Sat night, so this was ok, but never offered the option to move to first floor when it cleared out Sunday. Price ok, but no better than other similar hotels. Les mer

Enjoyed the stay immensely. The pool was closed so I don't know about that. But the staff and accommodations were wonderful.

Although we weren't on the bike this time, there were a lot of people there that were. We would definitely recommend Inn of the Hills to the BMW group we belong to.

We had stayed there 25 years ago and very pleased the hotel owners had continued to keep it modern and clean, yet preserving it's tradition. Rooms were well appointed, clean and the bed was great.

The place is just another Inn, room was clean and smell good. Service was good and exterior facility were nice. If a need to stay in that area again I will glady stay here.

While Texas Hill Country is remarkably beautiful, the city of Kerrville itself feels very urban and industrial compared to nearby towns. So it was with great pleasure that the Inn of The Hills blew away all my expectations. The rooms were clean and spacious, the beds were comfortable. The room offered all the extras I expect from a hotel; nice TV, coffee […] maker, blow dryer, safe. The hotel grounds are beautiful and lush, and the pool area is stunning. I enjoyed the continental breakfast but didn't get a chance to have dinner. I would 100% stay here again, pretty sure it is the best place in town. Les mer

Older hotel, but well maintained. Close to many restaurants; there is a Chili's very close with a large patio overlooking the river. Rooms were large and clean. The bed was good, and the room was very quiet. I booked two rooms and at check-in they moved one room to be near the other. There was a breakfast coupon with the room for free continental breakfast […] or $4 off the hot buffet. The breakfast was good, with lots of fruit and variety and a Texas-shaped waffle maker. There was also a dinner buffet that looked good. The drink machine that was closest to our room did not work. Our room overlooked a beautiful outdoor pool and courtyard; the first floor rooms had patios with tables and chairs. I would certainly return to this hotel; it was in a good location on the river, and the staff members were friendly and helpful. Les mer

I love the hotel but would rather have the hot tub at the hotel. The air conditioning did not cool upstairs where the bed was and there's no ceiling fan upstairs either. Overall we had a great time.

nice place in Kerrville... updated rooms nice. Cont. Breakfast is included ...but like to order a fresh b-fast ~ Very good. Like the Coffee!!!!

Really enjoyed the facility. The room was clean and the beds were soft. Loved Loved Loved the morning breakfast and the staff were friendly and helpful. The only thing I would change is the sound barrier between the rooms...very little. Otherwise, a very enjoyable stay...beautiful grounds and extra large pool.

Not good, we requested two queen beds, but the message was not delivered to the Hotel. Looks like kind of mismanagement.

The rooms directly opened up to the street making us very uncomfortable, it felt like we were staying on the street and there was no privacy at all. The carpet in the room was dirty - room was ok. In the morning for breakfast, the lady at the cashiers desk was very grumpy - did not seem happy. Overall ok to stay but did not feel like a welcome kind […] of place. Les mer

It's a nice hotel with excellent service except the gentleman who was helping at check in.He was rude and non professional. He was as asking private question. Probably I am from a poor country. Otherwise all are excellent. Breakfast was awesome.

We were very happy with our stay there and would recommend it to others. Hope to stay there again in the future. The breakfast is wonderful as well as the pool areas.

We stayed for a family vacation. The loft room had a king bed upstairs and pull out couch. Complimentary continental breakfast in the hotel restaurant was included. The second floor had a balcony that overlooked the lobby. There was noise that came up from the lobby, but it quieted down by 10:30pm. It is a wonderful hotel. We just stayed overnight but we could have gotten so much more out of it if we had made it a longer stay. I will absolutely spend a few extra dollars and stay here again if I have the time to really enjoy all the hotel has to offer. For a short overnight stay it is a splurge but may be worth it, especially if you are road weary […] and burned out on the cheap hotel chains. Les mer

Nice size room. Great breakfast. Personnel was very friendly, even when just walking past you outside. Convenient nail place attached to hotel. Hotel has outside pool but also offers guest access to an inside pool in walking distance to the hotel.

The Inn of the Hills is not a resort unless you count resorting to the bar for something to do. They offered us passes to the family fitness center across the street as an apology for the deceiving hotel & resort description. Could have stayed at a nicer place for the money.

What a pretty hotel! Live piano music as we arrived! Healthy continental breakfast with lots of selections, and it was included! We got a great deal with Expedia, which made the lovely hotel seem even better! Nice workers. Really good soup and salad! Comfy bed with easily controlled temperature. We will be back!!!

Too expensive and nothing to offer. Room has nothing different than other lower price range hotel. Not even exercise room and in a town nothing to do.

The description of amenities lists a "spa tub" but there was no hot tub on the property or jetted tub in the room, so I'm not sure what this referred to. The pools were not heated so I was hoping to use the hot tub, but there wasn't one. Hotel was otherwise nice, though I was hoping the "indoor pool" was part of the hotel. I've got to give the comfort a 1 one this, on the night we stayed, there was no hot water at all, so we couldn't have a shower. Also, disappointed at the breakfast that came with it. If you want a hot breakfast, you have to pay extra for it (the continental breakfast only covered cereal and pastries, not much more)

We enjoyed the hot breakfast and the clean room!! We were disappointed that the indoor pool was not in the building!!! The indoor pool that we called about was in the workout facility 2 doors down!! We were misled over the phone!!

The heater kept waking me during the night with very loud popping sounds. The TV did not work. It would light up when turned on but that was it. The room and hotel were very clean, restaurant service was good. Good location and easy to find.

This is a well known , established Inn. It is older, yet well maintained. The front desk was excellent. The room very clean and ample. The breakfast/restaurant is one of the big sellers. The breakfast buffet which came with the room included everything from pastries, bacon, sausage, juice, cereal, eggs, grits...etc., etc. hot out of the kitchen. This […] is a restaurant within the hotel and the food and service is lovely...a pleasure. This makes the room a true value. Beds are comfortable. My only dislike is that the rooms being older are a little noisy at times. This will not stop us from staying again. Les mer
