Dette hotellet er på alle måter fantastisk, rommet vårt var gigantisk og servicen upåklagelig, men det koster å bo her. For eksempel legges det automatisk til 22 prosent tips til alle room service-ordre, dette i tillegg til det de tar ekstra for å levere maten. Det andre som gjør det dyrt å bo her, er at hotellet ligger så avsides til at du må belage deg på å kjøpe og spise alt du trenger, på hotellet. Et tips er derfor å ta med seg snacks og drikke fra nærmeste kolonial for å slippe å bli ruinert i minibaren.

Norsk familie på fire som bodde her i julen. Genial beliggenhet ved restauranter og butikker rett utenfor døren. Vi fikk ett stort og fint hjørnerom med mye lys. To store dobbel senger. Nyoppusset.

Supert hotell med flotte rom. Vi kunne ønsket oss at det lå litt nærmere selve Santa Barbara, men vi fikk utrolig mye for pengene, så alt i alt er vi veldig fornøyd!

"Hotell i Santa Barbara."
Beliggenhet rett utenfor sentrum av byen. Hotellet har store, komfortable rom og et fint svømmebasseng i en hyggelig hage. Vi fikk rom ut mot bassenget, noe som vi likte godt. Butikksenter i gåavstand fra hotellet, bl.a. med en stor dagligvarebutikk.

I could have stayed at Motel 6, spent less money and been just as comfortable and close to the area we stayed in.

"very poor rating"
1- the beds were extremely uncomfortable. Cheap old mattresses. 2-did not disclose construction was being done at the time. Construction materials were being housed on the hotel patio. 3- the room smelled musty. 4- the continental breakfast was being hosted at the front desk on a small shelf. 5- the room was not close to attractions. 6- the room most […] certainly was not worth what I paid, out dated. 7- the shower head pressure was too much and not adjustable-painful. 8- I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone Les mer

"Pleasant"
I needed to stay in Santa Barbara for one night and I didn't want to spend SO much money. So Oasis inn and Suites worked out fine. It's clearly an older motel, and not up to date. However it's the kind of place you could call "charming" if you look past some of the faded quality. The upsides were the price, that the bed was soft, there was a refrigerator […] and microwave, and the pool looked very nice (I didn't try the water). The biggest downside was it was right on noisy State Street. However I got room 10 that was more tucked away and with the door/windows closed the noise was minimal. Also don't expect a breakfast buffet of any note. I was surprised to see they had anything available but the offerings were not too impressive. So bring your own breakfast. All and all for the price, this is an OK place to stay in expensive Santa Barbara. And I would stay here again. Les mer

The room was okay for the price. Unfortunately, there was a group of guests that took up several rooms and decided to have a party in one room and outside the room at midnight. I complained to the desk clerk twice before they went into the room and closed the door, then became noisy again when it slowly broke up after 1am. The manager had no control […] over the situation. "horrible parking"
gave our junior suite away to people that were in it night before, just let them book another night. i had those reservations for over 2 months. regular room small and the parking area was just horrible, took a chance getting your vehicle hit by other people staying there. heaven help you if you have a truck or suv. stay away......

We spent two nights at the Oasis and found the room to be very dated in decor and the fabrics were worn. When we walked into the room there was an odor, maybe of old fabric. The bathroom was clean and there was a newer basin. There was a full but small kitchen fully stocked with dishes and silverware, small fridge and electric stove and microwave. It […] was comfortable enough but the dated feeling made you feel as though the room was dirty but was probably as clean as it could be. The prices were cheap which is why we stayed there. Very dirty...the carpet is disgusting, the kitchen also in a pretty bad shape, the blankets were all full of holes...I was very disappointed....
"The Oasis Inn is not an oasis"
All it took was me pulling into the parking lot to realize that I had booked the wrong hotel. The "lobby" of the inn was dirty and run down and the carpet and linoleum in the hotel room was disgusting and old. The kitchen stove looked like it has never been serviced and the furniture was old as well. There was a distinct smell in the room, kind of musty […] and damp, not anything I would want to spend a whole night smelling. We took one look at the room and returned our key. They wanted to charge us anyway but we fought them on it and they ended up charging us a cancellation fee instead. The overall experience was a zero. Les mer

Horrible service, got there and sign said be back in 10 minutes, I was there for 45!! Overpriced for what you get. Bed is like a brick. Good location though and it was the only room available in the whole town! Book weeks ahead of time and get a better hotel!
"Bad hotel! Close to great bookstore, and eats."
Large ripped holes in nastily stained sheets, with unknown balls of hair. Old scrubby in kitchenette with a quarter inch of dish soap left. Just really icky.... But across the street is an italian eatery that is sublime, delicious. And the mini mall has one of the best bookstores we had ever found. So there's the good, and the bad.

Although this is an older hotel, and the furnishings and style of the hotel were older, it was a great place for us to stay for the weekend. It was located near the Earl Warren Showgrounds, so it was in the part of town we needed to be in, right across the street from Loreto Plaza (great grocery store, good restaurant, and a Fantastic Sams if you need […] a quick haircut). I wish I had known that this hotel allows dogs (moderate cost per dog per night); I could have saved myself a lot of money in kennel fees if I had brought the dogs with me. Stayed 1 night after a great concert. The room was old, moldy smelling. We were afraid to sleep on the beds, no mattress pads with super thin sheets. Thin walls, you could hear everyone in the rooms next to you. The bathroom was disgusting. Must keep your shoes on to walk on the carpets. Won't be going back there again! "Over priced"
The room I received was worse than Motel 6 which should cost half of the price I paid. I would return the room and went to Motel 6, but it was late and we were tired. The location was good, but the inside of the room was very bad.

OK, the Oasis Inn is not the 4 Seasons, but it's not a flea-infested dive, either. My son and I stayed there for the SB Triathlon, and other than the TV not working and the carpet seeming like it could use a good cleaning (I always wore sandals when walking on it), it was relatively inexpensive (for Santa Barbara) and pretty comfortable for a couple […] of guys. Our room was falling apart. The curtains were falling off, the chairs had cheap slipcovers on them. The towels were very thin. There was only one mirror.

The conditions of the Oasis was less than desirable. For the price it should have been top notch, not bottom rung. I will never stay there again!

This vintage motel should we rated two star. It is very cute from the outside, but inside is "vintage" at best. The number ratings I gave were based on this being a two-star property. "Needs complete refurbishing"
This motel could be a charmer with an effort to replace all furniture and carpeting. Sofa bed, and all upholstered chairs were filthy and torn. Carpeting stained. Bathroom plaster cracked and peeling. All very old. It's a shame. Our room had a nice kitchen with all amenities including a round table for meals. [Kitchen andn bathroom and beds were clean. The staff is very friendly. We woke up late for the Continental breakfast and the woman brought out extra food and coffee for us. Comfortable beds and rooms. Would definitely recommend for a nice comfortable stay.

This hotel is in a bit of disrepair. Although the manager tried his hardest to fix things, the hotel was not very clean (e.g., old torn furniture, mismatched chairs, spots in the carpet, etc.). The hotel has WiFi, which in some rooms it is the about the same as dial up from 13 year s ago. I stayed in a suite with a kitchen and found out that there were […] missing kitchen items as well.
