Stort sett veldig fornøyd, meget hyggelig og hjelpsom betjening. Noe lite rom, men helt fint. Ligger fint til i nærheten av Trastevere, og med trikken som går hele tiden rett utenfor var det enkelt å komme seg inn til byen.

Rent og pent hotell. Flott takterasse. Litt lite rom. "Massasje-dusjen" fungerte ikke. Litt skuffende med begrenset/dyr tilgang til SPA-avdelingen. Ikke mer brød igjen til frokost den ene dagen... Hyggelig betjening hele døgnet.

Svært vennlig betjening, flott klassisk dekor, velduftende og delikat spaområde, god frokost, hotellrom med vinduer som lar seg åpne og meget gode madrasser er blant de faktorer som gjør at jeg gjerne kommer tilbake til dette hotellet! Fra vårt rom, som ikke vendte ut mot gaten riktignok, hadde vi heller ingen trafikkstøy. Noe usentral beliggenhet oppveies […] mye av trikker som går med få minutters mellomrom. Les mer

Meget vennlig betjening, gode engelskkunnskaper i resepsjonen. Jeg klagde litt på at WiFien var svak på vårt rom, dagen etter hadde de flyttet på antennen slik at problemet var ordnet. Flott TV på rommet. Ikke restaurant, men flere gode spisesteder like i nærheten, og kort spasertur til Trastevere sentrum. Litt enkel men god frokost. Trikken stopper […] like utenfor, den går hele tiden og det tar 5-10 min. til sentrum. Les mer

Jeg og min samboer overnattet på hotellet i 3 netter i juli 2010 og vi var veldig fornøyde. Vi oppgraderte til superior da prisforskjellen ikke var så stor. Vi valgte også med frokost, noe som viste seg å være et godt valg. Hotellet ligger ca 10 min gange fra de hyggelige gatene i Trestevere, og trikkeholdeplass rett på utenfor. Hotel staff were outstanding. Stayed in Trilussa at the beginning and end of our holiday. Both times staff was helpful with directions around Rome, finding restaurants, and making our stay enjoyable. On Sunday's an open-air market across the street added to our shopping experience. Would recommend it highly for future trips

Very good hotel in great location. Room clean and modern with fun funky shower and sky tv. Recommend the breakfast at only7 euros if not already included. Highly recommended

Thank you Sylvia, and the rest of the awesome staff at Trilussa Palace. I highly recommend the hotel that is litterally 8 minutes (10 euros cab with 4 people and bags) from Trastevere station, 1 minute from the tram to downtown. Breakfast was awesome, the bathroom gorgeous, with a shower that looked like a space capsule :)

The front desk staff was very helpful in calling the airlines to locate our missing luggage. We were able to go out sightseeing and the following day our luggage was in our room. That was very helpful so we didn't have to worry about calling the airlines. They also provided a city map and a sheet that showed which trams/buses to take to get to the major […] sites that was very helpful. We upgraded to a room with a terrace and breakfast included. The breakfast had scrambled eggs and more choices than I expected - plenty for me. The machine that squeezed oranges to make fresh juice was great but unfortunately not working the second day. My partner and our two kids stayed at the Trilussa a week ago. On first arrival, I was a little disappointed with the look of the neighbourhood as it was nothing special but it took 5 mins to look past it. The Hotel is not situated in the heart of the city which means you get more for your money and good food at a reasonable price and it only takes […] 8 mins to get into the heart of the Rome by tram. About the hotel itself... it was very clean and presentable. The staff were accommodating and very friendly. Especially the breakfast team. Francesco (one of the waiters) made me beautifully presented cappucino's every morning, gave us a suggestion on places we could go for shopping and kids entertainment if it started to rain. The most momorable part of the hotel for us, the pièce de résistance as it were, was the Moon Spa! We booked a session in there and had the time of our lives. Jacuzzi/Whirlpool pool, water fall effect, mood lighting, free drinks and snacks and our own playlist. We felt like celebrities!!! It was really great. I have recommended this hotel to several of my friends and would definitely stay there again. Les mer

Staff spoke excellent English. They were extremely helpful with directions for tram and bus use. Reviewed a detailed map with us and highlighted nearby places of interest and "hot spots", ie Campo de Fiori, Pizza Navona etc. Quick response when asked for extra towels, calling a cab and setting up a shuttle to the airport. Rooms are very European, […] tiny but well furnished with pretty wood bureaus. Small balcony was very nice for evening glass of wine. Upstairs outdoor bar was very nice, not in use during our stay-out of season, but would be a nice benefit during the in season time. Very good breakfast buffet included scrambled eggs and ham as well as pastries, meats, cheeses and juices. Service was very nice and prompt. the staff knew who we were, names and room number by the second day. Greeted us warmly each time we came in and offered assistance for any needs at the time. The stay was incredible, the staff was very accommodating and a majority of them spoke very fluent English which was a plus. Your in the non tourist part of Rome so your. Of getting ripped off for meals and the quality of food is much better.

The hotel is a bit tricky to find, but once there it's very well located near the tourist areas. Tram & bus service is very close by; but no metro service near by. Staff is just AWESOME! Thanks to reviews on tripadvisor I found that you can get to the hotel on Bus H from Tremini Station. Also the street train will take you to Argentina station where you can walk to many sights, Navona, Trevi, Pantheon, etc. Also the staff told me it is easier to take the train from the airport to the Trastervere train station […] and catch tram 8 to the hotel rather than go to Termini. Upgraded 1 room to executive room which was tastefully decorated although not very spacious. Other family members in lower grade room which wa reasonably basic and again not spacious. Upgraded in order to be on the same floor as family. Public rooms well furnished, breakfast good but the same each day. Reception staff very helpful and courteous at all […] times. Spa beautiful but didn't have time to use it. On booking chose to pay at the end of stay, didn't realise until payment made that first night had already been charged for. This showed on my CC statement as somewhere I had never heard of and reported to the fraud department. On receiving my final bill the details that showed on my CC statement were at the top of the receipt, this was different to the name of the hotel and I found it worrying and confusing. Drinks in the bar changed in price on studying the receipts when back in the UK. Les mer

This hotel was very good. I booked it for a 3 day break for a birthday surprise for my wife From the moment we arrived to our departure the staff were superb. They were so helpful giving us the best advise of how to get around the city and where to eat and what to do. The room itself was large enough for our needs, it was clean and had all the things […] you would expect. The shower was a bit tricky to use initially but once mastered was fine although a bit small. The bed was fantastic, it was very very comfortable and we both slept well. The breakfast again was good and there was plenty of variety, ranging from scrambled eggs to cake and cereals. There was also a great selection of tea to choose from if you fancied a change from coffee. Free wifi was available throughout the stay which was handy for emails etc. The location is ideal. Far enough away from the center, (but not too far that it is a pain to get around) and it is great to be near the Trastevere region for eating and drinking. Overall, a great hotel in a good location,the staff were superb and they undoubtedly are the hotels best asset. I would certainly recommend this to friends and if i am lucky enough to visit Rome again we would definitely stay here again Les mer

This is a small out of the way (but not too out of the way) quaint hotel that is literally steps from the metro bus, and not to mention the BEST little restaurant in Rome, L'Orange. This restaurant is definitely worth the trip from anywhere in Rome. OMG is the food here great! Ok, back to the hotel. This is a spa Hotel, with one of the BEST beds/pillows […] in Rome! Customer Service is exceptional, and believe me I can be picky. The ladies at the front desk were not only informative, but cordial and made us feel beyond welcomed. We previously stayed steps away from the Trevi Fountain, but if I could do this trip again, I would certainly chose to stay here our entire trip. You are just a metro bus (it's like a metro rail but above ground) just outside the hotel, and get off just four stops away, short walk and you are at the Coliseum. You are just steps from the Jewish Ghetto and a $9eur taxi ride from the Vatican. This hotel is small, and unfortunately we did not try their spa services (which sounded wonderful), but it's customer service, quaint rooms, COMFY BEDS and quiet location, made our last four days in Rome extremely restful! Every aspect of the hotel facilities and cleanliness was brilliant. The rooms were spacious, great beds, very quiet and bathroms were big, clean and well stocked with towels and washstuff. If this was a rated as a 3 star hotel and a LOT cheaper I would give it a higher rating, but as a 4 star hotel it is sadly lacking. The room was pleasant and the bed comfortable, but the room was very small and the bathroom minuscule. The shower cubicle (a steam room combo unit) was too small to shower and lather in without bashing your elbows and head […] against the sides. The single glazing in the room made it noisy with the heavy traffic on the busy road outside. The room was clean, though the decor was getting a little tired in places. Breakfast was basic with a small variety of pastries (tasting freshly defrosted and a little soggy), basic scrambled egg and instead of bacon there were fatty, slightly burned lardons. The toaster did a magnificent job of heating (but not toasting) the basic bread. The freshly squeezed orange juice was very nice however. The fruit selection was small and half of it was from a can, including 80s style fruit cocktail. The coffee machine output was average, not good in a city which prides itself on fine (and impressively cheap) coffee. Recent changes to public transport means the hotel is now a tram and a (very bumpy) bus ride from most main attractions. And the spa.. it is very small and for the vast majority of the time can only be hired for exclusive use at scarily inflated prices. The brand of the in room toiletry items said it all, they were branded "Basic". Les mer

We stayed three nights at this great hotel in Trastevere, a quiet respite in busy, noisy Rome. Our room was small (we booked economy) but very nice - clean, very quiet, within a quick walk of trendy Trastevere's wonderful restaurants, historic lanes and piazzas and the incredible Church of Santa Maria in Trastevere. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were comfortable however I chose this hotel because of the Spa package. I've visited over 40 spa locations and this one is very basic. The massage room was stark. The massage therapist spoke hardly a word. No music. No Foot roll. When the massage was done the attendant just left the room with a word saying it […] was over. The location of the hotel is difficult to reach by car. The GPS in our rental got us there perfectly but it took a long time winding through the city. Overall, this was an over-rated hotel experience and when you pull up to the hotel your first reaction is: You got to be kidding me. Les mer

The Trilussa is a lovely hotel. The cheerful and welcoming staff at the desk and in the breakfast room are a great asset. Although official check-in time is 2 p.m., we were able to access our room by noon, which was much appreciated after our transatlantic flight. The staff at the desk were consistently helpful, for instance, offering to assist us […] in exchanging our tickets to the Borghese Gallery after we had found it closed due to a labour dispute on the date of our pre-booked visit. The efficient and attentive staff in the breakfast room ensure you can have your breakfast as quickly or leisurely as you wish. We left Rome for a few days and stayed in a different room upon our return. Both rooms were very comfortable, clean and quite. I should note that the shower stalls in one of the bathrooms was very small, and I could imagine this being an issue for some guests. Regarding the hotel's location, the neighbourhood (Trastevere) is worth spending time in. It has lots of good restaurants and one of the oldest churches in the city (Santa Maria in Trastevere). While the area immediately surrounding the hotel is not particularly interesting, it's no more than a 10 minute walk to get to the heart of Trastevere. In addition, the streetcar stops right in front and will take you to the centre of Rome. Tickets can be purchased at the hotel's front desk, and the staff is happy to explain how to get to various sights by public transportation. Les mer

It was fine. I could not control the temperature at all. I had some issues and they sent maintenance right away. I got a massage at their spa and it was not good. :(

Stayed at the Trilussa on our recent vacation to Rome. Great location , located just 1/2 block away from the Tram and Bus locations. Very nice hotel , smaller with a friendly staff and modern Italian decor. Very comfortable beds and pillows , best of our 3 week vacation ! Highly recommend for any traveling family or couple.

We had a great stay at the hotel. The only complaint would be that the front desk wasn't overly friendly but still somewhat helpful. The room was a nice size, clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower was tiny, good thing we are small because someone over 5'3 and 115 pounds would be smashed in. But otherwise we enjoyed our stay. The location was […] good as far as being able to jump right on the train and bus or even walk if we wanted to. This is an excellent hotel; from the quality of service, the plushness of the rooms to starting each day with the fantastic breakfast. The staff were extraordinarily friendly, attentive and helpful; we didn't need to visit a tourist information centre once! The hotel has excellent facilities, although the Spa was a little pricey in the evening / after […] 5pm. So we ended most days on the roof terrace enjoying a drink in a very relaxing setting overlooking the city. Our room was plush, well furnished, with the wall covering, expansive marble in the bathroom, multi-function shower and all around polished appearance all adding to the luxury feel. There's Sky TV too, but only really the BBC World news in English, not much of a problem with so much to see and do. And the mini-bar was reasonably priced! Location is great too, the Hotel is only a 10 minute tram ride out of the centre of town, but is the best side of the city centre, offering the least touristy and highest quality restaurants, etc. I would happily stay here again and I'm sure if I ever come back to Rome (I did throw 3 coins over my shoulder into the Trevi fountain, so it's a dead cert) I will. This was our first trip tp Italy and since we were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary we were hoping that the Trilussa Palace would be a good choice since we booked it based on previous reviews. I am happy to report that all our hopes and expectations were far exceeded. Everything from the hotel's location, to the staff, to the comfort and cleanliness […] of the rooms and spa were excellent and we were very, very pleased. We plan on returning to Rome as soon as possible and we will definitely be booking our next stay at the Trilussa Palace Hotel Congress and Spa. We loved our time here! Les mer

The only reason for the 4 in room comfort was, that I could never get the temperature right on the shower. Beyond that, this is a great little hotel in a wonderful location. We would especially like to thank Splendora, the desk person during the day. She was tremendously friendly, communicative, caring and a font of knowledge.
