"lovely place"
Very convenient to Tanglewood. The only disappointment was that the room we reserved was the size of a closet. When we got there the host showed us how tiny it was and said she had a larger room available. In my past experiences at B&B's the owner have just upgraded us, but she quickly said she wanted the $20 and waiting until we paid her there and […] then. Kind of strange. But a very nice home. We enjoyed the hospitality of the host and hostess and their lovely daughter. Breakfast was delicious and filling. Location great! Beautiful decor. Highly recommend.

Great spot for attendees of Tanglewood. The owner showed us an easy 'back way' to the entrance which was amazingly bereft of traffic- it took us to the Main Gate in about 10 very pleasant minutes. Before the concert, we sat out on the lawn drinking wine and a fox passed about ten feet in front of us! During the day and evening they ieave sherry out […] so you can party on...after the concert, we stayed up sipping until after midnight, and met some interesting, nice folks. My husband and I enjoyed a relaxing night at this charming inn. Over a delicious breakfast we had the pleasure of an interesting conversation with the owner, his daughter and other guests.

This Inn is in a great location for walking to restaurants and shops in Lenox. Beautiful landscaping. Very nice family. Gorgeous old interiors.

"OK if you like an old inn"
Old school approach to the B&B scene. The inn itself is beautiful but could use a facelift in some ways. The grounds are gorgeous, especially the garden, but the room I stayed in was a little cramped for the price. Also, keep in mind this inn is right next to an old church that rings bells every hour on the hour- even through the night. If you're a […] light sleeper, you may want another Lenox location. Les mer

"There was more room in my car"
The room provided could barely be called a closet. There was a bed. PERIOD. No closet, no room to walk about, no place to stand, nothing on which to place a clock. We had to pay an additional fee to upgrade to something we could actually use. We left the next morning.
"Wonderful introduction to the Berkshires"
I liked the historical ambiance of the Inn, found the accommodations very comfortable and clean, and liked the breakfast. What really set the experience apart for me was the owner's friendly and helpful guidance as to what to see in the Berkshires. He pointed us to a wonderful walking/biking trail that begins a 5 minute walk from his door, which made […] for a great outing. "Just ok"
We have stayed in many bed and breakfasts and this one was just ok. It was a somewhat dreary place, not particularly warm or welcoming, the same with the staff. It was a very convenient location though and easy to get to places in the Berkshires. The breakfast was decent though certainly not outstanding. "A Lovely Get Away"
The management upgraded our room when we arrived which no doubt added to our enjoyment of this overnight retreat. But the family were warmly welcoming, the room was pleasant, the library had great classics in case you're looking for good reading material, the grounds were beautiful, and downtown was a short walk. We'll be back time and time again.

Beautiful location next to Church and Kennedy State Park. Good service. Breakfast was good, but not tremendous (mostly bagels, etc.). Good service. Very pretty backyard with badminton, etc. Easy access to hikes and walks in park.

Overall pleasant, clean rooms; wonderful, attentive staff. Evergreen Room (where we stayed) has working fireplace and piano. On the downside, the bed in the Evergreen Room is a sofabed, and the owners live upstairs.

"Good place, but one concern"
Lovely inn. Very clean. Excellent breakfast. Beautiful surroundings. Good location. My criticism is that the people working there were, although nice, not what I would call friendly and welcoming. They all seemed to lack the social skills for true hospitality.
