Vi hadde et bittelite 2-stjerners “comfort room” med utstikt til bakgården. Rommet var morsomt dekorert med tallerkener på veggen og hadde en kjempestor god seng med masse puter. Badet var heller ikke så stort, men fint og nytt. Rommet var helt fritt for knagger, som hadde hjulpet på den lille plassen vi hadde. Vi kom da hotellet kun hadde vært åpent i én uke, så mangel av rutiner kan være grunnen til at de ikke rakk å re opp sengen før vi var tilbake på kvelden og takket nei. Pluss for døgnåpen resepsjon. Ikke glem det ekstra “city tax”-gebyret som kommer ved utsjekking, de aksepterer kun kort.

Vi hadde 4 netter på dette supre hotellet. Anbefaller det på det varmeste. Gangavstand til det meste, og blir det litt for langt å gå er det bare å ta trikken som stopper rett utenfor hotellet. 5 minutters gange til togstasjonen og ca 15-20 minutter med tog til flyplassen. Spis på restautant Humphrey's som ligger rett ved siden av hotellet, nydelig mat.

"Hotell litt utenfor Schiphol"
Hotellet ligger litt utenfor Schiphol, ca.20 min med taxi. Det var litt uventet, men det gikk greit. Busstopp rett ved hotellet som frakter deg billig til flyplassen. Veldig greit. Bra service i resepsjonenr . Noe negativt at det var relativt lytt. Vi kunne høre folk gå i etasjen over. Ellers bar hotellet generelt preg av at det er nytt.

"Flotte Dutch Design Hotel Atremis"
Vi var veldig fornøyd både med hotellet og servicen. Rommet var innbydene innredd, med store senger. Hotellet i sin helhet var veldig stilfult og at det er et design hotell kom tydelig til uttrykk på en delikat måte. Beliggenheten er et lite stykke utenfor sentrum, men det tar ikke mer enn et kvartes tid til sentrum med buss. Den går en gang i halvtimen […] frem til midnatt og koster 2 euro per pers (pris mars 2011). Passer godt for den som liker å ha det stille og rolig rundt seg, særlig med tanke på at hotellrommene i seg selv er veldig godt lydisolert. Les mer

Pent og ryddig hotell som ligger i et meget rolig business- / boligområde utenfor sentrum. Meget praktisk, rent og pent hotell. Enkel reise inn til sentrum med trikk.

Som deltager i Amsterdam Maraton var dette hotellet et godt alternativ. Litt langt til selve sentrum, men en gåtur på 10 min til metroen er ikke all verden. Lett å finne fram. Hotellet ligger utrolig stille til. Selve hotellet var fullt av folk, men hørte ikke lyder overhodet. Ganske uvanlig for hotell! Det var gode senger, rene og velstelt rom. Ett flott hotell med mange fasiliteter, ypperlig å dra til om man kjører bil til Amsterdam. Litt tungvindt å komme seg til sentrum med trikk og metro. i utgangspunktet rimelig men vær obs på tillegskostnader med frokost etc. om man har kjøpt det rimelige alternativet av rom.

Var på tur med kjæresten. Hotellet ligger litt utenfor alfarvei i et kjedelig forretningsområde med naboer som PWC og IBM. Ca 5-6 min å gå til trikk (nr 2) som tar deg til sentral stasjonen på ca 20 min. Men du er i Museumsdistriktet og Leidsplein (turist/shopping omr) på drøye 10. Herfra er det ca 25 euro med taxi tilbake til hotellet. Vi bodde på […] et superior rom i 7 etg, rent, pent og hva man forventet, men heller ikke noe ekstra. Ikke veldig bra service i resepsjonen og ikke be dem om rest anbefalinger.. Les mer

I stayed 4 nights at the Artemis hotel last week and the hotel accomodation was comfortable and the room was clean. The service in their restaurant was poor. My dutch colleagues were warning me that they have poor service and it was confirmed to be true when we had dinner. We waited 30 mintues before the waiter came back to ask for our drinks. The hotel itself was great, from the friendly staff at the reception desk to the decor of the rooms. However the hotel is quite far from the center of Amsterdam, although there are public transport options to get you to the city center. its location seems more suited for people going to Amsterdam for business rather than tourists, as it is quite close […] to the airport. Large rooms, clean and efficent hotel. Placed away from everything. Not the designhotel-feeling I look for - to "sterile".

Rooms are modern and clean, with anything you could possibly want including a trouser press. The front desk is..... well not the most helpfull staff but it could of been the language barrier..... Location is about 15-20 minutes outside of the city, good if you want to get away.... a bit of a hassle if you want to be in the thick of things.... no real […] options near by for food.... prices seemed a bit pricey for food at the hotel.... The hotel location is so bad . Eventhough the told me it is only 5 km from city center , people should walk for 15 min from last tram station to hotel and the in NO any shopping centre , shops around the hotel . this 15 min walk for travelers are terrible with luggage . Moreover no breakfast , IDONOT reccomend to any one .

"Overpirced Food & Beverages"
The food and beverages were ridicolous overpirced. The food was okay nothing special. I think its disgusting how the hotel takes advantage of the fact that you are a captive audience due to the lack of other shops or restaurnats and feels it is appropriate to charge such inflated prices. "Nice Place"
Good comfortable and clean hotel, located in open green surroundings. Easy to reach from airport and also easy to go to city centre from hotel. Bus departs every 30 mts. Good price and comfort - can be preferred over the equally or higher priced not so good hotels near Museumplein
"Non-smoker gets a smoking room"
Actually, for the 8 hours I was at the hotel, I can say the guy who checked me in was excellent. I can deal with a smoking room and just sleep but there was ash on the floor. That's not great is it?
"Nice hotel outside of city core"
This hotel was very nice. The rooms have hardwood floors but they are VERY scratched up so it makes the room seem dirty when it isn't. The hotel staff were ok and if you have a car, parking is CRAZY expensive ($17/day). Somewhat close to public transportation (about 10min walk).
Perfectly nice hotel with location being the only real issue. Breakfast is a bit on the pricey side so try and get it included in your room rate if you can. Showers screen in the bathrooms could do with being upgraded as they don't really do a good job of stopping the water escaping onto the floor.

We stayed in this hotel as it was close to where my relatives lived in Amsterdam near Schipol Airport and we were there for a wedding. The hotel stay was very pleasant and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The first room we were given on the first floor, the wash basin was blocked and the staff were very helpful and changed the room for us immediately. […] Also my mum was very fussy and wanted a room at the top floor and that was quite easily fixed. The hotel is in a business area and about 10 mins walk to nearby bus and trams. "Excellent but Isolated"
This is a very nice hotel located in a modern, high end, office park (IBM, Texx, Price-Waterhouse, etc.) that is not far from Schipol but far from downtown. The rooms are large and well appointed, I didn't visit the restaurant. The hotel is easy to get to on 195 bus (10 min.) from AMS airport; or on the #2 tram and #18 bus from center city but it's […] a long ride (30min or more). The real problem is that there is nothing else near the hotel, nothing at all. So it is great if you are visiting one of the offices during the week, elsewise you need to plan travel time to even find a place to eat (besides the hotel). I had to make a late reservation because my downtown hotel cancelled all reservations to start a renovation one week early. Les mer

The hotel is great if your looking for a typical comfortable American hotel room instead of a European cracker box. Bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. We were there for a 6 days and the cleaning people did a great job every day. The hotel is located a good 10 minute walk to the tram to downtown tourist areas which takes about 20 minutes. "Great value, nothing in neighbourhood"
The hotel is fairly new and is very clean, well maintained and the rooms are a good size and very comfortable. The room rates are very good value. City centre is about 25 minutes by tram or bus which is fine. The airport is also just 20 minutes by bus.The restaurant is fairly good value for dinner and lunch but the buffet breakfast is a monstrous €19. […] The location of the hotel is a fairly strange mix of multi-national company office blocks and further up the road, some fairly shabby looking flats. There is nothing in the way of shops, restaurants or any other services within reach of the hotel. However, I was there for the Amsterdam marathon and the hotel was ideal, with a bus to the Olympic stadium leaving from across the road. Overall, the hotel suited my needs perfectly and the value, apart from breakfast, was great. Les mer

A lovely hotel, pleasant and helpful staff. Brewing facilities topped up in our room every day and room remade and cleaned every day. It was a pleasure to stay there. My only gripe would be that it's about a 10-15 minute walk to get the tram stop then 30 mins on the tram to get into the centre of Amsterdam. Enjoy Amsterdam but make sure you get the […] last tram back to where you are staying. Do not under any circumstances get a taxi. we did one night and it cost 26 Euros! Fantastic Hotel. Nice, clean rooms. Breakfast was way over priced at 19.00 each...If you want breakfast then wait till you get to central Amsterdam. Hotel was miles out from the city which was the main downfall.

"Halfway btwn airport and city centre"
My mother and I enjoyed our stay at this hotel as it was easily accessible by both tram and bus. Not being in the throng of the city meant the evenings were quiet and pleasant. The neighbourhood felt safe and the nearby park meant there were lovely birds songs and greenery aplenty. The hotel is outrageously expensive by Canadian standards so we ate […] elsewhere. For tea drinkers the hotel falls woefully sort of options as the tea/coffee service in the rooms is meagre and typically one has to ask for refills of supplies on a daily basis. The hotel is often filled with tour groups but they tend not to be families, only adults with a few noisy exceptions. Les mer

If you don't yearn to be in the midst of all the clatter, noise and aromas of the city, this hotel is a good place to rest your weary self after a day of exploring either Amsterdam or , via train at the airport, any of the delightful towns and villages throughout the Netherlands. Me and five of my friends just got back from a weekend trip from amsterdam, before we set off i did some research into the hotel and read some reviews and to be honest i was dreading the hotel, 90% of the reviews seemed really negative and were mainly about how rude and unhelpfull the staff were and how its so hard to get in and out of the city. After […] my first day i can honestly say this coudnt be further from the truth. The staff are extreamly friendly and easy to talk too and go well out of there way to help you asmuch as they can. The quality of the service we recived was un matched. As far as getting into the city you walk out of the hotel down a straight road for about 5 minutes and arrive at a tram stop, get on the one that says "City Center" and its a pleasent 10minute journey full of things to look at on your way. Getting a taxi back to the hotel will cost around 20 Euro's but when theres more than 2 of you the cost is nothing. There was always a member of staff available if we needed anything or just there to greet us from coming back from a wild night out. The room's we were given were all brilliant, really comfy beds, tv that had around 20 channels with built in music from around 50 artists, Great bathroom and a lovly view. The maids would usually wait for us to leave the room before they came in to clean up but we always had a made bed with clean sheets and towels waiting for us when we got in. Honestly don't judge this hotel off all these old reviews, ive just returned from it and i struggled to find any faults with it! Great Hotel, Great Staff, Great rooms and Great Food! ill be staying here again! Les mer

Everything about our stay in this hotel was wonderful. Very freindly and helpful staff, comfortable beds, English speaking TV channels, tea and coffee making facitities. Had an evening meal in the restaurant which was lovely and not too expensive. Would definately return, so close to City Centre on the bus which runs frequently from just outside ho […] tel. Les mer

"easy to get to from the airport."
This hotel is way out of the city center, but its in a nice area that has nothing but apartments and some corporate buildings, so it is very quiet at night. (taking the 195 bus right from the airport is easy, just ask the bus driver to point out the stop.) getting to the city center wasn't that difficult. you had two public transit choices. there was […] a bus stop right behind the hotel, or you could walk 15 minutes to the tram line 2 stop, just ask the front desk where each is. (the green connexxion bus that stopped there and the gvb tram are owned by two separate companies so the chipkart only worked with whoever you bought it from while i was there.) it'd take 15-30 minutes to get to the center via tram. "Modern and luxurious feel - not easy to find in Amsterdam"
The room was very modern, decorated in muted shades of beige, black and grey. The well proportioned bathroom was exceptionally well equiped, including decent water pressure in the shower. In Amsterdam it is always a challenge to find a match between quality and price, even some of the 3/4 start hotels are shabby in appearance and very basic, fortunately […] the Artemis is not in this category, you get the quality you pay for. The only downside from my point of view is the paid parking - being so far outside the centre of Amsterdam I would have expected the parking to be free, it is about 25 EUR per day but if you are only staying on buisiness (i.e. the oligatory 8 hours sleep plus drink at the bar) then you can pay 11 EUR for 12 hours in the evening. It is possible to have your parking card paid at reception and added to your room bill which if you have to fill out regular expense forms makes life a little easier. Another plus point was the late check-in, having arrived after eleven in the evening I didn't need a discussion about calling ahead and what if no-one was here etc. - and joy of joy's I didn't get one - signed straight in, was given my room key with a smile and a swipe of my credit card - could not have been better in that respect. "far away from town"
plus the power blew out and singed my hands it took the hotel 12 hours to come and get my power back on... Oh and I received a package with my concert tickets in it and they sent the envelope back I almost missed the show.. not great it was comfortable and the internet was free worked pretty good
