"Clean, convenient and a bargain"
I had one problem, on the second day the heat/AC wall unit started to squeek terribly. I went to the office, but it was a Saturday afternoon and the maintenance person was already gone for the day. The clerk did switch me to a different unit with a newer, digital wall unit. Other than that, the staff was pleasant, the place was clean. Just be advised […] that this is a bare bones motel room, no moisturizer, no microwave, no fridge. You get soap and shampoo and that's it. If you need a fridge or microwave, you need to upgrade to one of their "sweet suites". Les mer

I just needed a basic hotel for a college visit since I was arriving late and needed to check out early. My family and I where pleasantly surprised to find a very clean room, including the bathroom, without any of the tell tale signs of previous guests. "decent hotel But Bloddy mess"
room was finr, staff was pleasant. Gott o room , at 1 am with 2 kids, and found blood on one of the sheets, So all 3 of us slept in the other bed. Pretty gross. I hate complainnig about things, but that was just downright gross

room was okay but very warm! people in room to right started yelling,fighting,throwing things, and profanity every other word! This continued until early in the morning! Walls paper thin. Called front desk before midnight! Did not help! no sleep-not happy!!

Great place for a short stay (1-2 nights), clean rooms. There were two items missing from our room hair dryer and an iron.
I was hissed out that the bed had hair on the sheets. The front desk had no one who could come change the sheets

Clean comfortable and great location. Friendly staff however no extras. No fridge, no microwave, no coffee in room, no breakfast. hence the low price. If you need to sleep for a day or 2 its great.

Quality service and comfortable beds. Price definitely worth the stay. Convenienly placed in a location accessible to enmities. It's recommended to all but don't forget your personal toiletries.

This hotel is an affordable option, however the cleanliness of the room was lacking in the bath tub. In addition the hotel service was lacking. I needed to make a name change on the reservation and when I called the hotel they were not able to point me in the right direction. "This stay was not tipical"
This is the fourth time we have stayed in this hotel. Every other occasion everything was fine, clean room, maintained, etc. This stay it was awful. The main light didn't work, so you had to walk into a dark room, try to find a light. Then the room had not been vacuumed, the tub was dirty. When I turned down the bed linen there was blood on the inside […] of the bed cover. The garbage had not been taken out.It was a mess. I called the office reported the issues.They did not have anyone to fix the light.or clean the room at that time.A maintenance request was made out. There were no other rooms. I had paid in advance through Hotels.com to keep the reservation. They would not give us the price of the room back . We had to stay. I complained to the hotel and Hotels.com. Red Roof Inn is suppose to be sending us a certificate for a free night. An investigation was done as to why the room was in such a state. We will see next month. We needed a clean room for the night after attending a concert in Rochester. This room fit the bill and was very reasonable. We did need to call the office because they forgot to leave towels in the room. They brought them immediately and were very apologetic. It was also very close to restaurants and a mall. I would stay there again.

Second time in a row of a Hotel.com reservation where I was charged a fee for an in room safe I did not use. It wasn't much, 1.50, but the principle of tacking on something after you've paid for the room just strikes me as disingenuous at best.

It's not the Taj Mahal but if you are looking for a clean room convenient to a couple restaurants, pizza, walking distance to McDonald's and Tom Horton's. Rooms are small but not bad, the building is older so expect older smaller rooms and bathrooms. cheap convenient and clean, good for a night of maybe two but it's not a vacation place at all.

I came to visit my friend for a few days in ROchester, and needed a low cost place to stay. then i came across RED ROOF. All i can say is that the Actual Room is a lot better than the images on the website. The room is clean, the toilet is clean, and the overall are just a lot better than expected. The staff at the reception is nice, there is free coffee […] at the reception 24/7. The only bad points that i can think of is traveling. If you don't have a car or didn't rent a car, traveling around Rochester will be a issue to you. Les mer

It was near restaurants, just off the highway, close to colleges. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable. We will stay there again.

Not the most glamorous place to stay... but for the price, it's a good place to crash for the night. Amenities are limited but if you ask the front desk, service is commendable. Convenient McDonals and Tim Hortons shops for food.

My husband and I were looking for an inexpensive place to stay on Thanksgiving evening to hit the mall early on Black Friday. The Red Roof Inn in Henrietta fit exactly what we needed. The mall is a short drive away - not as close as I thought it would be - but it wasn't bad at all.
