Situated centrally in Akasaka, close to the Aoyama Itchome and the Nogizaka subway stations, you're well placed if exploring Tokyo is what you're here for. Roppongi and Tokyo Midtown are also within easy walking distance (10-30 mins).The hotel is in a calm a side street and the walls between the rooms seemed well isolated - I heard nothing from the neighboring rooms, and very little traffic at night. The room was spacious for being Tokyo and had everything I could want. The bath was the module affair that seems common in Japanese hotels, containing the Japanese sit down type tub and just enough room to turn. It worked fine for me. Internet was available as wi-fi in the lobby, but only through a wire in the room. That worked fine for me, but I somehow wish the wire was longer so that I could bring my laptop to bed. The breakfast was a mix of western and Japanese cuisine. Nothing remarkable about it, but you can easily fill up there before you start your day exploring - and it's worth it if breakfast was part of your package. If not you'll find that any Japanese fast food chain (like e.g. Yoshinoya) beats this, both in taste and price. The staffs english was good and the service was spotless. The Hotel seemed to be marketing themselves especially towards westerners. I guess that's natural as it lays between Shinjuku/Shibuya/Harajuku and Roppongi - all areas that are popular with westerners.

It gives you exactly what it says - a simple, traditional place with a homely feel. I lived there alone for a week and have nothing to complain about. The Japanese guests there seemed to be workers from out of town or something like that. Likable, ordinary people. For Tokyo the room felt rather spacious - for a single person. I enjoyed the hot bath a lot - it was perfect for heating my cold December bones. It was calm while I was there, but I expect the place is more packed and bustling during summer.

Ok pris via denne nettside, men frokost koster 3000 Y og er ikke verd det da du rett over gata får all den maten du vil ha for 1000 Y. Men skal du absolutt ha egg/Bacon så betal. Flott sauna/badeavdeling, men kostbar. Dette er ett flott hotell og utsikten […] er super fra etasje 20 og opp jeg har bodd i 28-29 de siste gangene med utsikt mot Tokyo Tower. "Fantastisk opplevelse"
Veldig flott hotell. Et service nivå som overgikk alt annet jeg har opplevd. Hadde et flott rom i 31. etage med utsikt over Tokyo sentrum. Anbefaler oppgradering til Premium-package, som bl.a. inkluderer (fantastisk) frokost, tilgang til SPA og svømmehall (25m) under hotellet, champagne på rommet hver dag etc.

Stayed just 2 nights in November. Beautiful hotel, exceptional staff. My only complaint would be that it's impossible to find reasonably priced food anywhere near the hotel. All of the restaurants in the hotel are extremely expensive, and since it's in the park, it's not exactly located in the middle of many other spots to eat.

We, as in a 4-membered Finnish family, stayed in The Prince Park Tower Tokyo Hotel for one week at the end of year 2011. Our two rooms, the Premium Jr. Suite Comfort Room and the Premium Double Room were both located on the 29th floor. We warmly suggest booking a Premium Floor room when staying in this hotel. The price difference to the lower standard […] rooms is not that big, and the benefits are wonderful. We were extremely satisfied with the service we received for being in the premium side. One of the most profitable plusses is that when staying in the Premium Floor, you get the access to the Premium Lounge. Our family had many lovely moments there. It's open for most of the day, and it was a great place to just relax and have a little snack and/or drink. Also the breakfast was served in the lounge, and it was a huge joy to be able to enjoy the serene surroundings and to watch the Tokyo Tower from the lounges' windows. Les mer

I had an overnight in Tokyo and this hotel was perfect. Didn't have the room I reserved available, so I gave me a suite upgrade on an upper floor. Service was very welcoming.

"Great Place to Stay in Central Tokyo"
I was a bit skeptical when I booked this hotel because the price was roughly half of what nearby hotels were charging. Much to my surprise, however, this was a really nice place to stay. I was most impressed when my checkin bellwoman spoke perfect American English. She had lived in the US for years and it was a nice touch to speak with someone in English […] at full-speed and vocabulary. The room was standard for a 4 star hotel in Tokyo, but the internet was free (which is unusual). The hotel is right across the street from a small subway station that can take to either to Roppongi (2 stops) or out to Yamanote ring line. In addition they have a program called 'green cleaning'. If you forgo your room cleaning for a day they give you a 1000 yen coupon to the store in the lobby. It has a great selection of food and drink, nice souvenirs and some simple office supplies, post cards, etc. If you're like me and don't need your room cleaned every day, this is a nice perk. Les mer

The position which is right on the edge of Shiba Park means it is very quiet and away from the madness of some parts of Tokyo. "Big room, great sevice and relaxing location"
Great value for money, very big room, huge bathtub and separate toilet. This is a very hotel. The only downside is the area surrounding the hotel is very quiet at night with not many shops. You'll have to walk 15 mins to restaurants or you can catch a train to other area to eat. It takes less than 5 mins walk to the train station

They had maps and suggestions for the areas that we inquired about, as well as detailed steps for how to get to these locations via the subway, which was very close to our hotel. "Outstanding service, excellent location"
First and foremost, The Prince Park Tower Tokyo is the place to stay if you are looking for excellent service. From check-in to getting into the bus that would take us back to the airport, I have never seen such outstanding service. The concierge were all extremely helpful with assisting us with questions, suggesting restaurants and attractions and […] giving us directions. The hotel is located in a quaint and convenient area, surrounded by a park and right next to a subway station. It also offers a shuttle to the closest train station, which is a short 15 minute walk. Roppongi Hills, a great shopping and entertainment complex, which offers plenty of restaurants, is less than 10 minutes by taxi. Not to mention that the Tokyo Tower, one of the city's landmark, is literally right next to the hotel and if you get a room with that view you will enjoy its beauty every day. Rooms are very spacious and the bathrooms are very luxurious. They offer bath salts for you to enjoy the amazing bathtub with the jets after a day walking around town. The restaurants at the hotel are also a great option. We had western style "all you can eat buffet" breakfast at one of the restaurants on the top floor that overlooks the city. Every department we interacted with offered the most excellent service we have ever experienced in our travels. Another thing to consider is that we saw more Asians (mostly Japanese) than westerners at the hotel during our stay, which must be an indication that it is a hotel where the "locals" stay at. Definitely will stay there again and cannot cease emphasize its greatness! Les mer

I got a half-price deal from hotels.com and stayed in this wonderful hotel with a view of Tokyo Tower and a beautiful temple and park. Outstanding rooms; quiet; lovely location in Shiba park. Excellent restaurants inside the hotel. Convenient to two subway lines. The only drawback is that there are few restaurants or coffee shops nearby -- you must […] walk or take the metro or taxi to reach places with more activity. One note: The half-price deal does not include breakfast, and breakfast at the hotel is 3000 Yen ($40). It is a great breakfast, but I found it hard to eat $40 worth! An alternative is to buy some delicious pastries in the patisserie in the lobby and enjoy them in your room along with the free hot tea. I'd love to stay there again some time! Les mer

An absolutely fantastic hotel. Excellent service, massive room and easy to get to. From the airport the bus limousine goes directly to the hotel. From the hotel there is easy access to the JR for those with JR rail passes. The spa at the hotel is also a marvel. The best place to stay at Tokyo at a great price from hotels.com

After all the great reviews about this hotel, I have to admit to being slightly disappointed. The staff are friendly and efficient and the rooms are clean and tidy. However, the decor is seriously dated. The rooms feel tired. I suspect its to do with having well over 600 rooms so the hotel feels very, very busy and renovation would be a huge undertaking. […] Reception is like a busy bus terminal rather than an oasis of calm after a long journey. I'm being a little picky because we did get a good rate here and in terms of value for money the hotel delivered. I was staying at the Shangri La for work the previous week and maybe that spoilt me! If I'd paid full rate at the Prince Park Tower (not a huge amount less than the Shangri La) I would have been very very disappointd in comparison. Les mer
