Villa Brunel - Paris

Hoteller har perfekt beliggenhet hvis man skal ta et tidlig fly fra Beauvais og benytter flybussen fra Porte Maillot. 5 minutter å gå fra hotellet til holdeplassen. Hotellet ligger i en rolig gate med lite trafikk og 5 minutters gange fra Triumfbuen og metrostasjon. Enkelt hotell med hyggelige resepsjonister. Rent og pent. Kan anbefales.

We stayed at VB to celebrate a special long birthday weekend. It was our first trip to Paris and the hotel could not have been more perfect! We stayed in small standard room (#62) on the top floor. Although small, it was plenty of room for 2 with a lovely view of the Eiffel tower out the window! Yes, the bathroom is small but we are large people and […] had no problem. Great water pressure in the shower and the bathroom has a nice blowdryer on the wall so disregard that concern of prior reviewers. The room was impeccably clean, quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is10-15 minutes walk from a few Metro stops. There are fabulous bakeries, cheese shops and fresh fruit/veggie stands within a block at the circle. Around the corner at night there are street vendors selling local wines, sausages and produce. Lots of good restaurants near too. The concierges were very friendly and fluent in English. There is a large, very upscale indoor mall just a few blocks away. This seems to be a very safe neighborhood. We highly recommend this charming hotel to anyone looking for a romantic weekend in Paris at a reasonable rate. You simply won't find anything nicer! This hotel is in a bad location and the people that work there don't know what they are doing at all. Stay at a brand name hotel when visiting Paris because the privately owned hotels don't do any good for the traveller to a foreign country.

It is modern, clean and nice, but I didn't like the staff too much from the beginning. I also did not appreciate that when I called I was told the Executive room could fit a third person on the sleep sofa, but once I showed up, they told me it's a 30 Euro extra charge.

The hotel was a great value for the price. My room was incredibly clean and had free wireless. The bathroom was quite small even for a European sized hotel room. The price was right for central Paris - would stay here again!

Feels like a boutique hotel. Great location, helpful staff, beautifully kept. Honestly, after reading other reviews, I was totally shocked by how nice and elegant the hotel was. The front desk reception was kind, and they were willing to check us in early without a second question. Great great great -- room is a bit small though :)

This hotel was great. It is one block from a great neighborhood bakery/cafe, 10 minutes walk from the Arc de Triomphe, and 15 minutes walk to the park overlooking the Eiffel Tower. It did feel a bit isolated at night time, which was not good since we arrived at midnight from the airport. The bed was also very comfortable and the room well decorated. […] If you happen to be flying Ryan Air, this hotel is also perfect because it is 2 blocks from where the bus from the airport drops you off and picks you up. The only problem was the over-night clerk working on our two nights at the hotel (Tuesday March 29 and Wednesday March 30). He was everything a stereotypical Parisian is thought to be (pompous, conceited, and obviously disdainful of Americans). He acted like I was stupid and that I was placing an unreasonable burden on him and ruining his night everytime I asked him a question. He was quite possibly the most rude person I have ever met anywhere in the world, despite the fact that I was paying his salary by staying at the hotel. All of the other workers at the hotel were incredibly helpful and friendly and I hate that this one person reduced our rating of the hotel, but he left such a bad impression on my wife and I that I had to write a review. Good location, close to everything. Great customer service. But just noisy from the bars downstairs. The windows and walls aren't well insulated so you'll hear everything from down the block and below the building. Young kids hollering all night well into 4AM. That was a Thursday! Over the weekend, there was a huge bar fight downstairs over the weekend […] with lots of police activity. :( Otherwise OK. Les mer

Un confort simple et design, très fonctionnel et propre. Un petit déjeuner pas tout à fait à la hauteur ... dommage.

Sa situation était le plus important pour nous pour un mariage dans le Bois de Boulogne. Nous avons eu un très bon prix sur l'internet mais ceci explique peut-être la petite taille de la chambre (plutôt 2 étoiles) et les problèmes que nous avons eu à notre arrivée: réservation non-trouvée malgré la confirmation téléphonique le jour même (beaucoup de […] temps perdu) et des remarques très désagréables du réceptionniste , entre autre " on en a pour notre argent" . Dommage car en prenant un hôtel de petite taille, nous avons pensé trouver un accueil plus personnel que ceux de certaines chaînes. Chambre propre et bien insonorisé, lit confortable, gardien 24h/24 pour rentrée tardive. Les mer

宿泊していたのが日曜日であったため、インターネットカフェなどがしまっており、航空券の事前のチエックインができなかった際、フロントで丁寧に対応していただけたのでとても助かりました。 部屋はとても清潔で、凱旋門までも歩いて15分ほどなので、立地はとてもよいです。

We had booked a superiour double, but upon arrival we were upgraded to an executive room which was very spacious and had a small sitting area. The bed was very comfortable and had a proper duvet; the shower was great, except that the door to the shower cabin was not sealed off properly so some water would get on the floor. AC worked well. Perhaps the […] only minor downside was that there is a bit of noise from the street, but it didn't really bother us. Breakfast was okay. The neighbourhood is pleasant, and there are a couple of good cafe's and restaurants at the small square further down Rue Brunel, and near Porte Maillot. The hotel is a bit far from the main sights, Quartier Latin, and le Marais. Metro line 1 will take you directly there, but this line is very busy, we found out, especially Friday evening 6:30pm when we arrived. All in all we enjoyed our stay, and would recommend Villa Brunel. Les mer

freundlicher Service, sehr günstige Lage, für Kurztrip sehr zu empfehlen, geschmackvoll renoviert, sehr kleine, aber dafür saubere Badezimmer, sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis

Lille hyggeligt hotel der er helt nyrenoveret, værelserne er fine men pldsen er trang. Internet og TV fungerede fint. Morgenmaden til EUR 12 er sparsommelig og kunne helt sikkert trænge til en opgradering

Das Villa Brunel wurde gerade (Ende 2010) renoviert. Bei unserem Aufenthalt (März 2011) wurde noch an der Fassade gearbeitet, was auf der WebSite angekündiigt war und zu keinerlei Störungen führte. Unser Zimmer (Standardkategorie) war hübsch eingerichtet, wenn auch recht klein. Das Bad war modern ausgestattet, aber winzig. Der Service ist sehr zuvorkommend, […] die Rezeption 24h besetzt. In unmittelbarer Umgebung findet man viele kleine Restaurants und Bäckereien (besonders empfehlenswert zum Frühstück die Bio-Boulangerie an der Place Saint-Ferdinand. Durch die Nähe zur Place Maillot sehr gute Metro-Anbindung und die Champs-Elysee ist in ein paar Minuten auch zu Fuss erreichbar. Ich kann nur eine Empfehlung aussprechen! Les mer

Great location only 5-10 mins walk to Arc de triomphe de l'Étoile. The room was clean and tidy and the staffs was friendly. I had a good stay in this hotel.

receptioniste antipathique, désagréable et plus intéressé par son téléphone portable que par l'accueil des clients c'est là le seul point noir de l'hôtel le reste était parfait PH
