Guest House Motel - Vancouver

The room was clean, the location was good, the access was OK, When we arrived there seemed to be disdain at our use of internet to pay for room in advance thru the service we used. That made it difficult to want to deal with attending manager.

mostly everything was fine, bed was ok, the shower was clean and worked well, the surrounding area had great stores and resturants. I would stay again

Clean comfortable room. Bigger than I expected. Older building, but room was clean and comfortable. Lots of places to eat within a block or two. If you want new and fancy, look somewhere else. Want affordable and comfortable, this is for you.

Due to the sadness of our visit it was a very helpful thing to find our motel close to the destination and comfortable and nice, thank you.

Even though this motel is very affordable, you still get full service TV and internet. Rooms are small but clean and comfortable; TVs are old but work fine. WiFi bandwidth is 3mbps peak.

Bathroom plumbing needed to be fixed the bath shower eather had very hot water or very cold water comming out of the tub tried to fill the bath but the drainwould not stop the water from draining out so could not take a shower or bath other wise the room was clean and the beds comfortable

very noisy. we could hear everything going on in the rooms surrounding us. we could hear their conversations. the beds were comfy. and walking distance to many restaurants and stores.

A good motel for the price.It had a couple of simple issues(i.e.no hangers and limited channels),but a good choice for a inexpensive motel.

We found the bedding to be unchanged & dirty. The second time they cleaned, nothing was done to the bedding. Room was extremely crowded, no place to hang wet towels. Would never stay there again. I would not recommend anyone to stay there either. The dresser for your clothing was junk and you could hardly open or close the drawers. Never again.

First room assigned smelled like urine, so I asked for a different room. Desk clerk told me everything was booked and had to call the owner. I thought I might have to go looking elsewhere for accommodation. The owner approved a different room assignment and it was satisfactory.

The compact room looked freshly painted, granite counter top, tile floor in the tub/shower bathroom. Room was clean there was some stains on the chairs and some wear and tear on the furniture (nothing excessive), old style TV limited number of stations . The staff was very helpful with answering our questions regarding the various neighborhoods. Breakfast […] is coffee, OJ, toast, prepackaged muffins. We cooked our own oats in the room microwave. We selected this motel because refrigerator & microwave is in all rooms, good location, Trader Joe's & market across the street, easy freeway access. The motel is off of a busy intersection but there is a very quiet neighborhood 1 1/2 block away great for jogging or walking. The price of the hotel was a big factor I don't like to pay for things I don`t need. Rated 4 on surrounding area only because it`s by fwy & busy intersection, several other hotels on the block. I was very impressed by the hotel. On the outside it may look less than top notch, but the staff are friendly, helpful and very accommodating. The price was VERY reasonable. We couldn't have been happier with the room. It was clean, neat, and well cared for. What dissappointed me most was their insistance of charging my card even when I was fully paid through Expedia. Then I was allowed to pick up the charge slip in the AM at checkout and supposedly no charges would be made. Still waiting to see.

We came from the east and there is no sign with the name. If I were not familiar with the area I might have driven by. It was not until we came back that night from west that I saw the sign. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The only problems I had was the noise from others using their showers. Some next to us decided to take their […] shower at 11pm with it running for 20 minutes. Could barely hear the TV. When I went to register the reservation was not in my name. For some unknown reason, even though the print out from Expedia had my name, they had changed the first name to a guys name. Thankfully I had my printout and then they dug out theirs. Les mer

It's a very good room for the price. It's in a quiet environment with several other hotels around. It's very convenient to find a restaurants street few blocks a way. next to the motel there are some fast-food, convenience store and a starbucks. We are on a road-trip and find this place just to stay overnight. Noone is gonna come to bother during stay […] and check-in/out process is very easy. I had one concern when I checked in coz the guy at front didn't even ask for an ID, but last-name only. It's very easy to get on highway and very close to Portland too. Les mer

This is a no frills place, functional, clean enough, surprisingly comfortable beds. Breakfast was a choice of two packaged doughnuts, but so what. I would stay here again in similar circumstances. Decent.

I enjoyed my two night stay very much...found the place online, read the reviews and decided to use this spot ... I will certainly come back. Convenience and cleanliness...top drawer. My tv reception not great but I was at a conference and didn't come to watch television.

It's not fancy and disappointed me initially, but the rooms were clean and neat. The beds didn't look great but were comfortable. The Internet was secured. It's like a roadside motel, but one where the owner is doing the best that can possibly be done. As a place to sleep, it's not pretty but is just fine.

The room was ok. There was no coffee maker in the room, but there was a Starbucks about 1/2 block away. Room was decent and the beds were good, slept well in them. It was also quiet. Could not hear the traffic noise from Mill Plain Blvd nor I205.

Clean bed and shower. But thats about it. We would only stay there again if we were in a bind. We got a non-smoking room but it smelled disgusting. When we left they tried to accuse us of smoking in the room when we did not. The staff was rude and short with us.

It was a decent place to stay. Wifi worked fine. Close to stores and restaurants. It is kind of tucked off of the main road, but still just a short walk to fast food or sit down dining, and a strip mall area. I didn't feel quite comfortable enough for walking the area after dark, but certainly felt secure on the hotel property.
