If you are looking for a nice hotel with high standard and good location in central Myrtle Beach, I can recommend this 5 star hotel. We also stayed at this hotel last summer for a few days and will also stay there again if we are going to Myrtle Beach.

Caravelle Resort består av flere byggninger. Vi var heldige og fikk en av de som lå rett på stranden med havutsikt. Stor fin leiligehet med 3 soverom og 2 bad og ellers alle faciliteter. Rent og pent på rommene og det var rengjøring hver dag som vi var veldig fornøyd med. Kort vei til restauranter. Hotellet kan anbefales, vi kommer gjerne tilbake hit.

"Downtown Myrtle Beach location"
Hotel was ok. They let us check in early which was nice. The lobby was undergoing renovations. The only real complaint was the shower in the room. Water pressure was very weak.
"Convenient & Enjoyable Stay"
Overall, for the money that we paid for this hotel my husband and I were very pleased. The front desk staff were very helpful. We enjoyed the comfort and decor of our room. I wish that there would have been parking right at the hotel, but we had to park behind another hotel across the street. Also, we thought that it was a little strange that there […] were not any disposable cups for the bathroom. We had to use a glass from the kitchen which we had to wash, dry, and put up before we left to avoid a $25.00 dirty dishes fee. There is a coffee maker, but remember to bring your own coffee and travel mugs as there is no complimentary coffee or coffee cups. We enjoyed our stay and thought that the room was priced fairly. Nice,modern facility. The rooms are a little small,but they was nice and clean. It was quite, not alot of noise except for the neighboring motels. I was pleased with our stay.

Hotels.com told me that I would be staying in an oceanfront resort with two bedrooms. When we saw our room there were two double beds in ONE room & both of our balconies over-looked the parking deck. 3 Palms would not cooperate with me & help me recieve a better room. "Good Hotel"
We really enjoyed our hotel stay. The pools and room were modern and beds seemed brand new. The only negative was the lack of a restaurant. We ate at the Friendly's closeby but would have love another option. Parking across the street was close enough to not be a problem. Good hotel and a good value.

"3 palms resort hotel"
The hotel was a one day trip and after reading reviews the only thing I kept seeing was that it was small. It was a little small but besides that nothing was wrong. We enjoyed our stay there.

"3 Palms Oceanfront Resort--lower your expectations"
The 3 Palms was fine. That's what I can say about it. The rooms were relatively updated with nice granite countertops and comfortable King Size Beds. The second room had a King Size bed that filled the room completely leaving no room for even a dresser to put clothes in. The worst thing about this place was the pool. You have to walk through a very […] dirty underground parking area which is full of more discarded furniture and junk than cars to get to the completely underwhelming pool. The pool is tiny, the "lazy river" not worth a mention. The pool area loses sun by early afternoon. It was made worse by the fact that the pool at the hotel next door was always hopping with a swim-up bar and plenty of sun. We watched through the fence with envy. In general, the location is OK. There is a construction site about 12 inches away from the side of the building. The sign on the construction site read: Opening in summer 2010. We were there Spring of 2012 so that is a bad sign. The website is very misleading on the proximity of the amusement rides. They are quite a way down the beach and most of the "action" is a two mile walk. There are no restaurants or bars within comfortable walking distance. I didn't know what to say about recommending this place because it was fine--- but who wants fine on their vacation. The rooms were tiny and the side we stayed in face a construction site for a building that was suppose to be built in 2010. The park area was tiny with only 5 spots to park but so can park in other lots across ocean blvd.

The hotel was a little run down. The cleanliness was a little on the poor side, they replaced linens but didn't clean the bathroom at all or clean the room very well. stayed at the end of the summer season so everything in the hotel was closed for the winter, not very convenient.

Nice room, nice view but some rooms are just too small for a king bed AND sofa and end tables. Nowhere to sit. Typical MB old-style hotel efficiency--tiny. Not my first choice again.

The 3 Palms was comfortable. We had a King room and it was small but well maintained and clean. Staff was pleasant.

The only good thing we can say is that it was cheap. When we arrived, the person at the front desk was arguing with the customer in front of us. When it was our turn, we requested an early check in because hotels.com said it would not be a problem. However the front desk person was clearly irritated about this. "Good hotel for the price"
I was actually surprised by how much I liked this hotel. I have not been to Myrtle Beach in ten years but decided to go as a mini- honeymoon right after my wedding. The room was simple but nice and the bed was comfortable. Everything was clean and the view was great. We could sit on our balcony and read while watching and hearing the waves. It was a […] very calm experience. I will say the the walls are fairly thin and when the air conditioning was off, we could hear a baby crying many times throughout the stay. We did not stay during peak season so that noise was not too bad but it could be worse with more families there. Other than that, you will have to drive to get to any decent restaurant but only a little over a mile. Family kingdom is right down the street but the amusement park is very pricey and not that nice, so that may not be a good thing. If you are looking for a better-than average hotel with good views and you do not mind driving to attractions/restaurants, you should definitely consider this hotel. Les mer

Stayed in a 2-bdrm ocean front on 3rd floor. View was excellent, room was clean, service was great and beach access was easy. Only complaint, hotel next door had a bar in their pool that played loud music most of the day and into the late evening. Otherwise, enjoyed the stay.

Previous reviews mentioned the staff as rude but they were very kind and helpful to my husband and I. The room was small but very attractively decorated and gave the appearance of a 4 star hotel. The cleaning staff left a dust rage on the TV table but other than that room was very clean. The parking to unload on the 1st floor is a bear, small making […] it hard to find a spot to park and almost impossible to turn your vehicle around. But if you take the ramp down to the ground level you will see plenty of parking. You just have to go to the 1st floor to get a luggage cart. Parking in the lots across the street was full one night and we informed the staff at the desk and they permitted us to use reserved parking so that we would not get towed from parking in the street. "SO SO... I dont know if it worth the price"
its ok...Smaller then I thought from the pictures. Not really much of a front desk or welcoming when you arrive to have a vacation. Parking is up the street from the hotel. the service was so so... but the location was good.

I selected this hotel because it is close to the airport. Our flight was due in at 10:00 PM, but was delayed more than four hours due to weather. At the point that it was "only" two hours late I called the hotel to alert them and let them know we're really coming. Tim said, "You're all set," and indeed we were. When we finally pulled in at 3 AM, Joe […] was on duty at the front desk and checked us in in a timely manner. We managed to get most of a good night's sleep. Everything was exactly as stated online. The bed was very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. There were lots of shops, restaurants, concerts and even the boardwalk within walking distance. It was a relaxing vacation.

We spent 4 nights at the 3 Palms in Myrtle Beach, 8/10 - 8/14/11. Check in was a breeze, the desk staff was courteous. The lobby clean. Parking is the only drawback that I found but it wouldn't stop me from staying there again. We had cheeseburgers and mozzarella sticks from the lobby grill and they weren't the worst I have ever had and were reasonably […] priced. The room was great, we had a king oceanfront efficiency. Everything was clean, the a/c worked well, the bed was extremely comfortable. The pool area isn't huge like some resorts but then we were there for the beach and not the pool. It's a non smoking property but they weren't saying anything to folks on the lawn which was a plus to us as we are smokers. Housekeeping staff was very friendly as were all the employees we came in contact with. I would definitely stay there again. It's a great value for the money. Les mer

Room was very cramped, but it didn't matter much since we weren't in there too much. TV didn't have anything to hook a dvd player into which was a bit of a pain. Overall the stay was very enjoyable

The parking is across the road and the loading parking is hard to get in and out. The lobby was nice but the walk way to the room is old carpet. The room was nice, good kitchen, small couch but we didnt sit out there much. The side balcony (because we were on the 8th floor) could see over the building beside us and we could see 2 ferris wheels and a […] nice stretch of beach. Les mer

The hotel room was VERY small. It was difficult to even walk around the room. There was a kitchenette, but no room for a table. The balcony faced the parking lot of the next building, which was extremely close. The pool area was nice and staff seemed friendly.

"Great access to the beach"
This hotel is in the perfect location if you want to be near all the attractions at Myrtle Beach. The room was really nice, we had the King Studio Efficiency and it was nice having the convenience of home. I didn't cook but have a four year old and the kitchen area was really helpful. My only complaint would be housekeeping which woke us up every morning […] around 9am but really did not do that great a job of cleaning up. She made up the bed, change the towels but didn't clean the tub or get up the sand from the beach. Needless to say I did not leave a tip. Overall, it was a nice place to stay for the cost. My son loved the pool, lazy river and hot tub. We all loved the easy access to the beach. Parking was a bit of a pain but overall I enjoyed my stay. Les mer

"A good price...only for beach front only"
I had the room with the side view. If you don't mind the view then its not a biggie. For just me and my girlfriend the space was fine, but the bathroom is kind of cramped. I am a skinny person and the bathroom personally is small. The king size bed did its job but the sheets were rough and i felt like they seriously skipped out on the fabric softner […] lol. Parking at the front can get congested fast with space for about 3 vehicles. Parking below is not for big vehichles like the passenger van I rented, but parking across the street is about a 3 minute walk. If you're there just to stay in the hotel then this place is good for the price, but its a better price since most people will be spending their time outside. Les mer

first the room was too tiny, then the room we upgraded to had nasty sheets...had to have those replaced and was a little hassle but the girl who helped us was super nice and very helpful to make it all okay in the end.

We stayed in a 2-bedroom suite, so my wife and I enjoyed our private bedroom and bathroom. We had a full kitchen and a full length balcony. And I guess it's the norm for most hotels, but it was hard to sit on the balcony and watch the ocean with the room air conditioners blowing hot air out on the balcony. I greatly enjoyed the location on the beach and placement on the strip, as well as the pool, sunning chairs, and outside bar. I was a little disappointed that you couldn't see the beach from the pool and therefore did not spend much time by it. The in house restaurant/bar was small but fine for a quick and easy lunch and drink. Service was very hit […] and miss. Some of the staff were very friendly and polite, but others were frankly rude.
