Great location but very hard to find on GPS, the secret is to use West Sacramento when you put in the address. Do not stay on the 1st floor. Anything that moves above you can be heard. I wonder why they even offer rooms on the bottom floor.

This facility is located in West Sacramento, just across the Tower Bridge from California's capital city. We enjoyed our evening there in a clean, comfortable room. Walking distance to Old Town in Sacramento with lots of good restaurants and fun shops. Good place to stay.

"wireless too weak to work and sheets didn't fit."
They have wireless, but I never got it to work, because it was not powerful enough in our room. Bottom sheet was stained and not a fitted sheet and was too small, both nights, so it wound up in a wad by the morning. Very disappointing, considering we had stayed there two weeks earlier, in another room, with none of these complaints.

All I want is a clean, cheap, well-furnished room. This is it. My regular Downtown Sac place- leaves me $$ for Dining well, theater, etc.

"Cheap but fully furnished and clean- a Real Deal"
At the price, I expected minimal amenities, and was surprised to find extra chairs, a convenient placement of sockets (AC + wired I-net/ phone +WiFi) high on wall facing decent-sized desk, + table+2 chairs. Clerk extended herself, with a genuine smile, to make our stay extra pleasant. Nice view of a vegetable garden out bathroom window and great view […] of Ziggurat and Raley Field fireworks out front. Unless I want to impress someone with a Name or image of fanciness, my next overnite stay in Sacramento will be here. I paid more than twice as much to stay in a poorly furnished closet on Nob Hill with a Great Name. Les mer

Our stay was very pleasant. The hotel was conveniently located for old Sacramento. The staff was very helpful. Overall an enjoyable stay.

"dirty hotel"
there was trash all in the room and the bed had hair and stains and the blankets were dirty, so we slept on the floor. there complamintary breakfast was nasty little debbie pastries and there was a toaster and an empty bread bag
"Not worth it"
Holes in the comforter/bedding and a prostitute in the room above. Quality of neighborhood dictated that I would not leave my room in the evening. I'd pass on this one.

The carpet was so dirty or stained that we ended up with ground in dirt when we went without shoes, both on our socks and fee, The coffee service was poor, usually half enough supplies for two people. The towel service was awful. We had to ask for hand towels and were brought first wash cloths and then bath mats to use as hand towels. We were told "I […] guess they didn't wash any more" . I was very impressed with the quality of the hotel for the price. Very clean and comfortable, plus they even had free wi-fi!

I chose this hotel simply because it was within walking distance to Raley field. The bed and pillows are comfortable, the bathroom is incredibly tiny, the tv channels are prodominately shopping channels, the parking lot needs a lot of upgrading, the breakfast is a joke, the neighborhood isn't that great, but it's cheap and close to the baseball field […] and Old Sac. "Gets job Done"
I was on a two night trip in the Sacramento area. It did what it needed to do. Clean room, clean bathroom and good enough bed. Complimentry Breakfast...well if you like toast/pastry for breakfast then Ok. could have paid $3 bucks at the 7-11 for the same thing...overall it was what it needed to be. A place to sleep, clean, and change clothes.

"Nice Hotel, Helpful Staff, Good Price"
This Hotel has an excellent view of downtown and is very clean. I really liked the family-run staff, the were friendly and helpful. And a good price for the area, some other hotels are in the same price range and area but maybe not as good. Small breakfast was good. I really liked the clean and well-kept laundry room, one of the best I have seen. Your […] room card opens it, so it is pretty secure, which is great because there are some transients in the general area. Excellent restaurant called Salsa Tacos a couple miles west on West Capitol just past Harbor Blvd, some of the best mexican food in town. Les mer
"Interesting"
This Rodeway had the smallest bathroom in the history of hotel rooms. To close the bathroom door you needed to either stand on the toilet or stand in the bath tub. I wore white sox across the carpet and they were dirty by the time I got to the other side of the room. Upkeep is needed. The bed however was good. The TV was good.

We chose this motel as it was close to Raley field and we were headed there for a concert. Easy walk to the field, I am sure we would have spent more time walking to our car in the parking lot and getting out in the traffic jam. "Excelent Access to Capital and Entertainment"
Excellent location virtually at the western foot of the Tower Bridge. Close to Old Sacramento, Railroad Museum, and other major areas of the Capital with out being in the traffic and noise. Clean rooms, well maintained, smoking and non-smoking rooms available. We had a smoking room and it did not smell like stale smoke.

Clean, compact rooms in an older property just across the Sacramento River from the Old Sacramento entertainment and museum district. Noisy old style room heaters took some time getting used to, but, for the price can't really expect too much more.

For a last minute check-in i was only given a smoke free room and got there in the am. Checkin wasnt until afternoon and the manager was so comforting and sincere they let me go into my room super early and switched me to a nonsmoking with no hassles. I love this hotel because it is convenient, i will keep an important memory there and there was a fridge […] w/ a microwave. The only downfall was no blowdryer, and condements for your shower. This place is awesome for the price you pay. The location was convenient for us, close to the highway, on our way passing through. Very clean, very friendly, great internet connection.

Getting there was a little tricky. It is on a bend in the road and there is only one entrance to the parking lot from the street. If you pass it you have to make two U-turns as there is no way to enter from the opposite side of the street. The bed was probably one of the softest hotel beds I've slept on. The room was clean and didn't smell bad, so that's […] a plus. Air conditioner was loud and woke me up when it kicked on at 12am. The people next door woke me up at about 1am when they entered their room. We checked out at 4am to catch a plane at SMF. Moments after we hit the night service bell, someone came to check us out. The location was perfect and convenient to where I was working without having to pay a high price. It was a basic room for a fair price.

Easily available off the I-5 and convenient to both West Sac, downtown area and Old Sacramento. Shows some wear and tear, but also has been maintained with newer rails whatever. The "breakfast" was served in their small lobby and it would be impossible to eat there. Otherwise A/C was mediocre, but then the price was right. Hey, it's not a Hilton
"Convenient for a night or two"
The room was basic, the staff was courteous and accommodating. There's not much in the area, but I was just there for one night because I had an interview the next morning. The room was decently clean, they had satellite TV which was nice, because I just wanted to relax the night of my stay. I am a single female, so I was a little apprehensive about […] booking a room in an area I wasn't familiar with, but there's just not much to this area, so I felt safe. It was a very great hotel to stay at. Not too far from Town. And was in a great area. Although they had construction in the area. The Hotel was in walking distinces of a super market. The room was great. If there wasn't any kind of Construction going on there. The neighborhood rating would have got a higher score.
