Etter å tidligere ha bodd på Mandalay Bay, valgte jeg denne gang å bo på THE Hotel, ettersom jeg reiste med en gruppe konferansedeltakere og vi ønsket et sted å møtes etter lange dager med konferanse. Den vesentlig forskjellen på disse to hotellene er at THE Hotel er mer moderne i sitt interiør, og at de kun tilbyr suiter. Mitt suite hadde en stue med […] bar, soverom og et stort bad, samt et toalett i tilknytning til stua. For en ukes konferanseopphold fungerte dette godt en "leilighet" hjemmefra. Det som imidlertid trakk ned var at jeg ble plassert i femte etasje med utsikt over taket på det store konferanseanlegget og ganske høy viftestøy utenfor vinduet. Hadde jeg vært en vanlig hotellgjest på ferie, så hadde jeg garantert vært skuffet, men ettersom det meste av tiden ble tilbragt utenfor suiten og fordi jobben betalte, så lot jeg det skure. Det er kanskje ikke alltid en skal la seg lokke av lave hotellpriser - det er jo gjerne en grunn til at du får det :) Les mer

Hotellet ligger rett overfor CBS. 2 min gange fra hotellet ligger Farmer's Market og et shoppingområdet som utgjør en liten by inni storbyen, som har fine bygninger, fontenr, alt fra Zara, Abercrombie, Banana Rep til Coach og Guess butikker m.m. Mens du går i gatene strømmer det ut behagelig jazzmusikk over høyttalerenlegget. Anbefales å spise på Cheescake […] Factory, hvor man får store porsjoner og helt utrolig gode ostekaker! Området rundt hotellet ellers er lite sjarmerende, og dekoreringen av rommene er sånn passe. De kjører en slags låve/fjøs interiørmessig stil. Rent og pent. Frokost kan spises på restauranten som ligger vegg i vegg med hotellet. Ellers fnnes det mange spisesteder i området rundt Farmer's Market. Les mer

The staff/management took care of a few charges on our bill that we thought were unfair. They stepped up and I would return with my family. It is at one end of the strip, which is tough and the hotel is slightly older than other hotels in the area. Decent value (especially with the pool area) for the money.

I really like THEHotel, but i'm disappointed by the quality of service by hotel personnel and food at the mid tier restaurants and room service. I don't mind spending the money when i'm getting the value for it...i just don't find a consistent level of service here.

Everything was ok , but I dont know why this and several hotels dont offer free wifi , is like not water , not even as telephone that has a variable cost , wifi has a fix cost, that is a bad services in all hotels that dont offer wifi.

Room wasn't ready at check in time and when asked if we could go to the pool we were directed to a casino bathroom to change. Many of my issues were not hotel specific...we decided to take to family to a nice dinner at Aureole, we were one of 4 tables at the time and we were largely ignored by the staff, treated like we were below them, and the food […] was terrible! I am a big fan of hotels that do not have casinos as part of their lobby. The Hotel offers a clean, modern, quiet lobby with a bar (that has a jazz band some nights) and restaurant (really liked their breakfast). The hotel is connected to the Mandalay Bay so you are always very close to a casino if your heart desires. This Pet friendly hotel is decent . The front desk service is not very efficient. Takes a long time to check in. The rooms are good but very dark since there s no view because of the tall walls built outside the windows. The dog park is situated close to garage parking & incoming cars so not very safe for your dogs.

Only stayed here one night, asked and was upgraded to a penthouse suite for a small fee. The experience was incredible. Huge room, full of plush amenities, everything in perfect working order, lavishly decorated. The staff was friendly and courteous and made every effort to ensure I was having an enjoyable stay. Overall a nice resort, just disappionted with all the extra charges for anything in the room such as coffee for $4 a cup! I would have also like to see a few more resonably priced restaurants within the hotel. There were no shows in the resort either which made us always having to leave in order to see one. We enjoyed our stay quite a bit. We met up with another family and upon checkin we got a slight upgrade and resort credit since they couldn't get us on the same floor as the other family we were with. The room was great and the service excellent. There was some construction going on, but it didn't bother us at all in our room. We stayed at The Hotel […] which was super. Only drawback was the walk to the main pool was a bit of a hike. However, if that is all we could find wrong with the stay, it must have been pretty good. Will stay there again. Les mer

Loved the hotel, the room, the location. Although the staff was fantastic face-to-face, there is room for improvement in getting in touch with housekeeping, guest services or valet on the phone. Room and customer service top notch. As with all high end hotels there was an additional charge for everything it seemed. A common comment among guests was the $4.00 charge for an in-suite coffee while car valet service was free. Small thing but guests commented about it. Rude and unprofessional clerks at the front desk when you check-in and check-out. They are aggravated to be working and it shows. Standing on a line of 20 people and the front desk clerk says he is going on break, when they are already short staffed.

Overall experience was decent, but not worth the cost. Each room had 3 TV's - none of them in HD. This turned out to be a major issue because I had planned to show a slideshow to some friends using an HDMI adapter from my laptop. I have stayed at THE Hotel before. Every time I stay I have a great time. The night club does add some noise until it closes, but otherwise a great hotel.

Great Hotel. I stay in Vegas a lot and have stayed in almost all the big Hotels. This is always a top favorite.

I was here on a StayCation and it was great. Some of the tables were dinged up and calcium around the nozzles of the tub but the over all appeal was nice. The 1 hot/sunny day they closed the lagoon for a private party which sucked bc that's was a major appeal in the resort itself. Great service tho.

My room was a bit noisy. The cleaning staff were loud in the morning. Lot of door banging and yelling. Overall, it is a good hotel at a reasonable rate but far from the other major hotels.

Everything would have been great, but the battery failed in our door and we waited an hour with screaming kids while an engineer meandered up to our room and fixed the problem. Other than the location which is far from the main part of the strip, the rest of the stay was perfect.

Overall THE hotel was great, but the bed was very uncomfortable. The mattress was too soft and the pillows were too hard. My wife and I did not sleep well for a single night during our stay. We will not be back.

Almost perfect experience. Disappointed that my suite did not have a mini fridge, also when we checked in the front desk employee didnt seem as enthusiastic as his fellow employees. The suite and the rest of the hotel was well above my expectations.

The size of the room was fantastic. it needs a bit of a refreshing. Expedia seems to get rooms close to noise or elevators....

I stayed at THEHotel over Superbowl weekend.The staff was very professional, expedient and courteous, the room was super clean and well setup and in room amenities were very good. Another key factor for me, air quality and a good smoke free smell, was excellent in my room. They do a great job at keeping the smoke to the casino which is not the case […] in many hotels. Our housekeeping request for extra blankets at 11pm at night was handled in under 5 minutes. My TheSuite room was very large for Vegas and what I thought was a great value / night booked on Expedia. Overall I was very happy with my stay with very minor exceptions, the funishings/decor including the TV's were just a little old (super good condition), the cable TV's were very slow to change channels and the sheets felt a bit crunch for my taste. We checked in on a Thursday afternoon. Check in was very quick and the girl at the desk was very pleasent. The hallway area to the front desk and the elevators was a little confusing, but after a day or so, it became less so. The room was great. Loved the floor to ceiling windows. Our room looked out at the mountains to the West, and at night with the […] lights off and the shades open, it was great. The bathroom was fantastic. Great bathtub! Room for two. The second bathroom was also appreciated. Lost of closet storage and drawers for both of us. A fridge would have been nice, to keep water cold in the room. Keeping ice in the sink at the wet bar worked fine. The buffet food was excellent. It was a little pricey, but the quality was very good. Everywhere we went in the hotel and casino, the staff was fantastic. Always friendly and helpfull. They all seemed to enjoy working there. This good attitude makes a world of difference to the overall stay in any hotel. Free Wy-Fi was an added plus. This wasn't a cheap room, but overall, we thought it was well worth the extra money and will definitely stay here again. Les mer

We had a spectacular time; the room was beautiful and all surrounding areas such as the lounge downstairs and the coffee area were equally relaxing and beautiful. The elevators were so much more efficient than those @ Mandalay Bay where we stayed last year, that was a pleasure!
