Kort vei til/fra O'Hare int. flyplass. Utenfor Chicago sentrum, så enkelt å komme seg videre uten å havne i tung trafikk. Koselige og høflige ansatte og Legends sportsbar inkorporert i lobby området for å innta middag og drinker til normal pris. Store og fine rom; litt slitte, men rene. Frokosten var langt over middels med utvidet continental frokost. Fitnessrommet var veldig enkelt, men fikk trent basis. Nabolaget er noe slitent forstads- men virket greit.

Hotellet ligger svært sentralt både for shopping og for å få sett Chicago. Personalet der var superhyggelige, og rommene var helt nyoppusset. Vi hadde rom med parkering, og dette fungerte svært bra. Vi slet med å finne hotellet ut fra GPS, og når vi sjekket inn fikk vi høre at dette var et problem for mange av hotellets gjester (TIPS: Når GPS sier at du har kommet til oppgitt adresse, men du ikke ser hotellet, kjør da rett frem gjennom første lyskryss, så vil du se hotellet et lite stykke etter lyskrysset). Vi anbefaler gjerne dette hotellet for andre!

Hotell valt i utg.pkt pga nær O'Hare-flyplassen. Svært praktisk, to stoppestader frå flyplassen med t-banen (Cumberland). I tillegg lett, rimeleg og kjapt å koma seg med 'blue line' til sentrum av Chicago på same banen. Middels pluss service i skranken på hotellet. Frukost visstnok berre svært lettvint, med 'småkaker' eller liknande. Nytta ikkje dette tilbodet sjølv. Ok reinhald på romma. Var på to forskjellige under opphaldet mitt. Restaurant næraste nabo på eine sida av hotellet, også parkeringsplass knytt til denne, utan at eg fann dette sjenerande. 7 minutts spasertur tek deg til diger supermarknad, der du finn alt du måtte trenga. Også andre småsjapper og ein frisør. 5 minutt til fots til t-banestasjonen. Motorvegen like ved og tidvis flytrafikk over, men gjorde ingenting av betydning. Godt støyisolert.

"Great place"
Its a great hotel. Bathroom is large and clean. Hotel room was big and beds were comfortable. Staff was nice. Would stay here again

Overall I was satisfied with the hotel. There was a minor issue with housekeepin and cleanliness but it was addressed right away. The customer service was excellent. The hotel was good for the price. I would recommend the hotel to others.

I had a recent stay at the Courtyard Marriott in Shaumburg, IL for business. Perfectly located. Plenty of ammenities nearby (Wildfire on Higgins Rd was terrific). The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Service was outstanding. Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful. I'll be back when in the area.

First class all the way. Thank you for a comfortable and enjoyable stay even though it was to rest my head. The hotel is close to restaurants (walking distance), the staff is very personable, helpful, and friendly (genuine). The rooms were spacious clean, comfortable, and quiet. I go to Schaumburg twice or so a year to shop at IKEA and eat at P.F.Changs. This was my first stay at this Courtyard hotel and I will definately stay there again. It was very easy to get in and out of and was one of the closest hotels to the shopping. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy. The staff were very helpful in offering directions/assistance. This hotel is close to Woodfield. Only down side is super thin walls so you hear kids screaming & jumping on the bed

The hotel was hard to locate at nighttime, i did google the location but could not see streetview. I requested connecting rooms but the hotel failed to provide it.

"Courtyard at Schaumburg"
We had a wonderful stay; excellent, pleasant staff, everything was clean & fresh (no cigarette or smoke smell anywhere), close to all the places we wanted to go. The room was quiet; no street noise or sounds coming through the walls from other rooms. This was a Girls' Weekend for my sister, niece & myself. We felt totally safe throughout our stay.

The inside of the window was dirty (smudged) otherwise this is a great place to stay. Easy to get to Ikea, the Mall, Whole Foods, and Schaumberg Convention Center. This is our third year in a row to stay here for Stitches Midwest...will do it again!

This hotel is very clean and modern looking, the front desk guy was very professional. Check in was a breeze!!! The room was very nice. The indoor pool and hot tub was nice also. Breakfast was delish!!!! Overall I really enjoyed my stay here and I would consider staying here again. The city has a lot of restaurants that would be nice to check out in […] the future. The only draw back I can think of is the fact that you are about 30 mins from downtown Chicago and traffic, especially during rush hour is very busy!!!! We made the baseball game (Go Tigers!!!!) on time so plan a extra hour leaving to make it to your destination on time. Les mer

When we went to the room we were assigned to we opened the door with our hotel key to find someone else was already using the room. This could have been a security issue for both parties. After explaining the situation to the hotel receptionist she acted as if it was no big deal and found us another room. In our new room the bathroom hand towel was […] clearly dirty. "Courtyard by Marriott in Schaumburg, IL"
We stayed as a family with a child and really enjoyed our experience. The room was clean, well appointed, and comfortable. There were the usual conveniences, plus an in-room fridge. High-speed internet access was free. The staff was friendly and the customer service above average. We forgot a power cord for a medical device (big problem) and the front […] desk provided us with a spare (fast and considerate solution). We did not try the pool, whirlpool, workout room, or breakfast, but we looked them over and they were decent. The bathroom was especially nice and the beds (we had two queen-sized) comfortable enough for a good night's sleep. The location is unbeatable. It's near everything you want to do in this part of the Northwestern Chicago zone. Parking was ample. Security was sufficient. The sound barrier between rooms was decent (although ask for a room that is not near the stairwell doors at either end of the hotel -- you can hear that door opening and closing). We did not much enjoy Schaumburg overall (crowded, heavily commercial, unnecessarily expensive), but we would stay at this hotel again if we were in the area. Les mer

We booked this room at the last minute as we were traveling home and realized we wouldn't make our destination. Check-in was a breeze, but when we got to our room, we found there was no refrigerator despite the web site's indication that all rooms are equipped with refrigerators. Traveling with 3 small children, this was essential in selection of the […] hotel. The host quickly switched us to a different room down the hall, so the inconvenience was trivial. The beds were comfortable, and the room was clean, modern, and very quiet. There was a breakfast buffet that had ample hot and cold selections which was a excellent value compared to many similar offerings at other hotels. We went on a "girls" shopping weekend to Woodfield Mall & IKEA. The location was great. Our room was very clean and spacious. We enjoyed the pool & hot tub. Over all we had a great time. My one and only complaint is the cost of breakfast. If you are staying there you should at least get a reduced rate. The breakfast was pricey. Did not get what we […] paid for. The hotel staff was very courteous and accommodating. We were very impressed with the professionalism of everyone at the hotel, from maintenance personnel to the in-house restaurant waitress. This hotel was extremely clean with the furnishings current and attractive. We will definitely make this our hotel whenever we travel to the Chicago area.

We had a really nice, three day stay there. It was very comfortable, roomy and clean. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating, especially the General Manager. It would have been nice to have a microwave in the room, but there was one in the lobby and the Continental breakfast was pricey. Many hotels offer the same breakfast for free. No bottled […] water in the room either. We generally liked the place though and it was close to a huge Mall as well as the train to Chicago. We will stay there again in the future. Les mer

My son and I had a very pleasant stay. While we were disappointed in Legoland, we enjoyed other activities such as Gameworks and were happy to find Courtyard so conveniently located. It was a breeze to find, and we relaxed in a pleasantly decorated, clean, comfortable room.
