Homewood Suites by Hilton Buffalo/Amherst - Amherst

I took our three kids overnight for something fun to do on March Break. We had booked the 2 Queen suite which was perfect for sleeping the kids. They thought the room was awesome with the 2 separate rooms, 2 T.V.s and the kitchenette. It was close to shopping as well, which is one of the reasons we chose this hotel too. The hotel was very clean and nicely situation off the highway. The room was clean. It was cold so we had to turn up the heat. The toilet paper dispenser is kind of low so anyone tall would really need to reach kind of far. The washrooms on the main floor were freezing!!Breakfast was good and service was even better

This is a very nice hotel. The staff were very helpful and courteous. When I inquired about a taxi for dinner the front desk arranged it for us without my asking them to do so. quick weekend trip to do some shopping from Canada and this hotel was the perfect stay in terms of comfort and location. The large suite was wonderful and the free breakfast a great extra before setting out. Free coffee all day was a nice added touch and the staff was very accommodating as we were able to do a late check out without any hassle.

Everything was beyond what we thought it would be, the room was quiet,and comfy. The hotel staff was very helpful, breakfast was great!!! and the breakfast staff was there to give any help that they could, and they made it seem as though it was no bother for them to do their job....

Nice hotel, but our electronic key cards kept getting reset and caused us trouble getting in and out of the room. Breakfast was included free and tasty but understaffed so everything took time to refill.

Felt very comfortable and as an appreciated guest. They don't take traveler's checks, though.

A comfortable hotel for Buffalo. It was 10 minutes away from Walden Galleria and about 25 minutes from Fashion Outlets. Hotel was right in the middle. Breakfast was good, with your typical selections, but filled us right through to an early dinner. Would definitely consider staying there again if it's another weekend trip to Buffalo.

We had a King Suite which was reasonably priced and very enjoyable. The room had a full kitchenette with sink, dish washer, dishes, refrigerator, stove, and microwave. There was a dining table, couch, desk, flat screen tv mounted on a swivel that could be rotated so that the tv could be viewed from any position in the room. This is a very nice place to stay, and best of all, it less than half an hour from Niagara Falls, which is where my wife and I were headed the weekend of our stay here. We made use of the fitness room which had a treadmill, stairmaster, and excercise bike, as well as weights, and medicine balls. We also made use of the indoor pool and heated whirlpool. The staff was extremely friendly, courteous, and helpful. I would gladly stay here again, or another of Hilton's Homewood Suites. Les mer

received complementary dinner and breakfast at this very reasonably-priced hotel. Got upgraded to a suite for being a Hilton member. Very clean hotel and very friendly staff. Lost my phone and left a backup number and when they found it I was called and my phone was returned. Excellent experience.

I and my family loved the hotel. This was one of the best hotel I have stayed in last 24 years. I will come back to Homewood Suites by Hilton in near future.

The staff was excellent and the location is amazing, especially if you have a child attending SUNY Buffalo. Everyone was so friendly. Great gym & great hot breakfast!

Staff was very friendly. Breakfast food was pretty good and the dinner food was more something you would want to order take-out instead of eat. The rooms were ok, small but clean. The common areas were not as clean. It was dusty. (baseboards especially) I would prefer to stay at a Residence Inn than here but this place is fine. We stayed for a week […] and when your on vacation, who really sits in a room? When our TV and toilet broke, they sent someone up right away and again, the staff was very friendly. My only main complaint would be the cleanliness of common areas and small rooms. Other than that, the place was close to everything (20 min.) to malls and falls. Great location! Les mer

overall very satisfied, free dinner was a very surprising treat....only wish breakfast hours were a bit more extended..with 3 kids its hard to be in between 630 and 930...but very very nice accomodations...will come and stay again..

Great great hotel!! Their staff were very helpful and warm. The hotel offered complimentary breakfast and dinner. Room was very clean and bright. The only negative point was hard for me to go anywhere since I am not driving.

Wedsite states airport shuttle, however it does not state the start and end time of this service. we neede to be at the airport at 7am, yet the shuttle service only starts at 8:30 am. This information would have been helpful to know ahead of booking.

We had prebooked our stay at Homewood Suites before coming to Buffalo. When we got to the hotel and was given our room keys, my husband and me went to the room to check it out before bring in our children (3) and bags. When we got to the room we found it to be too small for our family, so we went back to the front desk and asked if they could provide […] us another room, which they were able to do which made our stay at Homewood Suites so much better. There is only one down side, we didn't care for the breakfast not enough variety of food for non-pork eaters. Les mer

Overall we were very pleased with this hotel. Our room was clean and spacious. We really enjoyed the full kitchen and the the extra TV in the bedroom area. We have seven people in our family and there was plenty of space! The kids enjoyed the pool while my husband enjoyed the fitness center. The breakfast buffet in the morning was awesome and the service […] was excellent! The only complaints I have are that I could smell a hint of smoke at night in our non-smoking suite. Our room might have been too close to a smoking suite. I had a hard time falling asleep because of this. Also, the water was not hot enough while taking showers. Had everything you could ask for in a hotel room-nice suite including full mini kitchen w/ microwave, dishwasher, stove and fridge-lots of room-2 flat screen TV's, free wi-fi, free breakfast and dinner buffet included in price too! Everyone was friendly and helpful. The hotel was great. Very pleased with the location and very good price. the only negative is if you get a room that all the way in the back, long walk from elevators, that are in the front. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in the Amherst area.

Nice large suites that are consistently high quality. The rooms are well equipped and the staff couldn't do enough. If you stay at a Homewood Suites make sure there eating and drinking places near by since there are none in the hotel. Well worth the small inconvenience. We try to stay at Homewood Suites whenever we travel in Canada and the USA.

Looking for a hotel online can be rather precarious, not knowing the area and quality of staff. But we were very pleased with the spacious area to move around in with our 3 teens and us parents. We have three children, so we are always overcrowded in a single room. Often we are not even allowed to book a single room, so this suite was perfect! We had a lockoff bedroom with two queens, and the rollout was plenty big for a six foot man. The kitchen even came equipped with utensils, and the fridge was a full size too, often you get only a mini […] fridge in these suites. Overall, staff was friendly, and I would go back. I've stayed at many hotels in the Greater Buffalo area and this one is now at the top of my list. The service was great and the amenities were fantastic. Each room is a suite and there's a great pool and fitness facility. Best stay yet in Amherst-Buffalo. Close to different shopping areas and great places to eat. Kids loved every minute including the perfect temperature pool! Breakfast was good - had to wait at times for certain things to be refilled but other than that, all good. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone!

We had a one night stay and reviewed the comments left by others and we were quite pleased. The room was spacious and quiet. We could hear people while we were walking to the room from the hall, but once inside it was very quiet. Overall, great stay for me and the family. I would highly recommend this property!

This is truly a great place to stay for Canadians, close to Boulevard mall and the Olive Garden. Right off the highway. The only thing I would improve is the entrance by putting a name sign at the street. In the dark when returning from eating it is hard to tell if it is the right driveway.

our "queen size" seemed full size and the mattress was too soft. The remainder of our stay was very satisfactory.
