If you are looking for a nice hotel with high standard and good location in central Myrtle Beach, I can recommend this 5 star hotel. We also stayed at this hotel last summer for a few days and will also stay there again if we are going to Myrtle Beach.

Caravelle Resort består av flere byggninger. Vi var heldige og fikk en av de som lå rett på stranden med havutsikt. Stor fin leiligehet med 3 soverom og 2 bad og ellers alle faciliteter. Rent og pent på rommene og det var rengjøring hver dag som vi var veldig fornøyd med. Kort vei til restauranter. Hotellet kan anbefales, vi kommer gjerne tilbake hit.

"disappointed"
Nothing was working!!! pool was closed, wireless internet was on and off, hotel was under construction and was messey, bar was subposted to be open from 11 to 9pm. It was open from 5om to 8pm only. Only one chair on bacony, light on bacony wouldn't work. The fan in bathroom had no switch. The first set of keys we were given wouldn't work properly. Ask […] for blood to be clean up that was it the carpet by elevator and in hall way, 2 days past and blood was still in carpet when we left. very unsanitized!!! We ask for help from the kitchen to open a bottle of wine. They told us at 5pm when the bar open they would open it for $5.00. Elevators were down on the last night we stayed. Les mer
"never again!"
This hotel is so nasty! Their were bugs in the outside Jacuzzi, the outside pool water was freezing! No indoor pool, the carpet in the hotel was worn dirty looking! Yuk!, my fridge inside the room wasn't working....their was Walker of bugs on our balcony. ...we stayed on the 14th floor..., 2 elevators were out of service for a couple of hours then They […] put it back in-service...no Happy HR...although they broadcast it. I have never experienced a hotel as unclean, unprofessional service, and lack of guest standards in all of my travels. The first room that was given had a huge stain in the carpet, there was an odor of mildew, it was outdated and poorly kept. "close and convinient to everything in Myrtle Beach"
I absolutely loved our stay. Service and workers were all very friendly! Everything was kept up and neat!
"Should have believed the reviews"
Rooms looked great online, but the room we were given was in general disrepair when we arrived. Several lights were burned out, balcony chair was broken, receptacle boxes were cut out incorrectly, there were many stains on the floor and linens, there was hair on bathroom walls, and we had a very loud air conditioner. "Away from the crowd"
My stay was nice. I was a bit disappointed because the room I was given did not have a balcony. The shower curtain was too short so the floor was wet after our showers. Other than that, the hotel was nice. The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was clean which is the first thing I look for. The hotel lobby was also clean. "Great hotel for the price"
It is clearly a 3 star hotel it's not the best but it's far from the worst the view from the room was breath taking and it's conviently located near everything the beach has to offer would stay there again essp for that price
"It's not cheap for nothing"
Well the first thing you see pulling into the parking deck is a sign that says they are not responsible for items if stolen...At least one of the hotel elevators was out of order several times during my stay...The Zenzi Bar as advertised is not always open during the stated business hours in case you need convenient meals...The first room they put us […] in had a broken AC unit, so they moved us to another room. The bedding in that one made me itch and had to washed on my own because house keeping was not available...House keeping does come around daily to clean and bring you dingy towels that look like they've been used a million times...I will not being staying at this hotel again unless it is an emergency...I only stayed for business, I feel sorry for those who came here for a vacation. The a/c didn't seem to be working very well, however the temperature was fine with the sliding glass door open to the balcony. Also, I did not like the bedding at all. There was only one thin fitted sheet on the bed covering the mattress and there was no mattress pad on the bed. I may as well have slept right on the mattress itself.
Elevators were dirty should have had more trash bins in the room and halls, rooms are comfty

"DO NOT STAY HERE"
The bathroom had mold... the beds were horrible and uncomfortable. The pillows were thin and only had two thin pillows. The indoor pool is small and has too much bleach in it, broke my son skin out. The view was beautiful that was alllllll
It was an ok hotel. Only had one wash cloth in room and they gave me the key to a room that was already occupied. The carpets are dirty but the bar and grill was nice and they had karaoke.

Pound per pound not a bad deal. Had thought a previous review about the hallways looking like somebody had been killed and drug through them was a joke, but that was pretty dead on. I love the stay the beach was at my back door but the wifi suck very bad. that why i gave it a 3 overall but there was a bar in the hotel and the drinks was good so my over stay was good and the price was good for 3days
"Wondetful Experience"
This was my first time in Myrtle Beach and after visiting a different hotel earlier, my boyfriend and I were very pleased. We had our 7 month old baby girl with us and we refused to have her stay anywhere. As soon as we walked through the doors of the Sun and Sand Resort we were very pleased. The front desk clerk had a very friendly and pleasant attitude. […] The staff was awesome anything that you needed they were always willing to help out and take care of whatever we needed. The room was very spacious and really clean. The view of the ocean was amazing. When we visit Myrtle Beach again this is where we will be staying. I would recommend this hotel to all my friends. "You get what you pay for"
Me and my mom were looking for a cheap one-nighter, and that's exactly what we got! The service was average, the condition of the hotel was poor, the beds were hard as rocks. The staff was friendly, but that's about the only thing positive to say. We will not be staying here again (even for one more night).

Hotel is older hotel but clean. It has a covered parking date with available elevator but you have to carry your bags fron that elevator through the lobby to another elevator to get to your room. There was not enough baggage carts available for everyone coming in.

this place needs a lot of work, carpets need replaced, bad odors in the hall ways, elevators are slow, we were on the 15th floor when we checked out we waited 25 minutes for the elevators, rooms need a fresh coat of paint and a lot of detailed cleaning, staff was friendly, some service issues several times I called the front desk and they never answered […] we ran out of towels and it took them all day to bring some to us, overall this place needs detailed cleaning and a make over, new elevators would help Les mer
"Great Stay"
I had a great stay, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. My only compalint is location, location, location. It is located on the south end and you have to drive to get to everything. My last stay we were right in the heart and were in walking distance to everything. But for the price I paid for the room, I really cant complain!! "Romantic Weekend"
We had a wonderful time in Myrtle Beach and the Sun and Sand Resort added to our fun. We were worried when we first pulled up because the parking area needed help and the elevator needs a lot of help, but there service was awesome. Christine answered all of our questions and really put us to ease. The ocean front room with king size bed was clean and […] just perfect. We couldn't asked for anything better and the price was in our budget. I would recommend this resort highly, but please do something with the parking garage and elevator. Les mer

"Separated from my children"
We decided to spend our Spring Break vacation in Myrtle Beach, SC @ Sun N Sand Resort. I reserved 2 rooms oceanfront...my reservation didn't mean a thing...my kids room were on a completely different floor & the resort had a big sign out front stating "Vacancy"!! Our view was of the hotel next to us & the dumpster down below...My room was clean & comfortable […] but the kids room needed some upgrades!! The elevators were not working properly but they repaired them quickly...overall it was ok for the price. Les mer

"Horrible hotel"
Did not get the room I booked a month in advance. The customer service is horrible and rude will never stay at this hotel again. Tv in room didn't work and bed only had sheets had to call and ask for blankets and waited over 2 hours for them to bring towels!!!

Staying in the two room suites you would expect something or service to stand out, what we got was standard everything. Knowing that it was an older hotel I knew what I was getting in for when looking but great location if you like the market commons area. food and shops and good beach location
"Worst stay ever!!!!!"
We stayed from Saturday thru Wednesday. From Sunday thru Tuesday, I had to ask for room service...On Tuesday we went to the beach around 10:30 am, I checked in at the front desk and told them we were going to the beach and not coming back in til around 3 or 4 pm that afternoon. The lady at the from desk said she left at 3pm so would I check it before […] then and had notes that we had to ask for room service ever since we had gotten there...Me and my sister went to the room around 2:20 pm and the room had not been touched. I went to the front desk and told the lady and she said give her 30 minutes and she would stay and call me when it was ready. We went back on the beach and never got a call. I went back in and the lady had left and suppose to pass the word on to call me...I'm still waiting on the call. As many times as I have been to Myrtle Beach, this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. And I told the ladies at the front desk and they looked at me like it was my fault. I told them if I had to ask for room service I would understand. I did not and would not recommend that Hotel to anyone!!!!!! Les mer

"Nice location - Hotel needs some TLC!"
Hotel needs some TLC. It's a nice location in Myrtle but the rooms have stained carpet, broken safes, broken tiles in the bathroom, elevator with missing parts, etc. If you can get this room at a very discounted rate, then it's ok. If not, I would shop other hotels. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Our family stayed for 2 nights and really enjoyed it! You can tell the hotel is older but is in really good condition. The staff was very friendly and helpful! We will definitely consider staying again!

The only real big complaint that I have was the beds were real hard! I mean extremely hard! The beach was nice and the room was clean. The indoor pool was small and crowded and there was a condom floating in the hot tub. I booked this hotel based on the online photo gallery and the great deal. However, upon arrival, the lady at the front desk was on the phone and very rude to another guest. The indoor pool, my reason for going, was green. It was never fixed. Our receptacles did not work in the room, just the bathroom. The commode would not flush properly for the first […] two days.
