Bodde her en natt på reise i USA og var kjempefornøyd! God service fra vi kom til vi dro!! Datteren vår har glutenallergi og det var ikke måte på hvor bra de ville prøve å gjøre det for henne i forhold til mat. Veldig bra frokost og "happy hour" fra 17:30-19:30 for de som ønsket det. We stayed at the Embassy Suites Washington during our vacation. We have three kids, so we ordered two rooms. Looking back, this was not really necessary. There is ample room for a family of five in the suites. We got rooms adjacent to each other, which was perfect. The breakfast was awesome, the managers reception was great - all in all I have nothing […] negative to say about this hotel! Staff was extremely helpful. Great location, large clean rooms and breakfast a great benefit.

Nice suites, great complimentary happy hour drinks and snacks, as well as a great breakfast. Friendly and helpful bellmen.

The free breakfast buffet was excellent and also a plus was the manager's reception in the afternoon with free cocktails & snacks. Parking was the only thing was not good it's $35 per night + 18% tax... very expensive! Overall nice hotel, good location, friendly staff.

Overall I would rate the hotel as average, the breakfast was nice and the hotel was clean, there was a snack reception each evening which was nice. The pool was a nice feature but rather small for the size of the hotel. We felt the personal customer service was lacking, ie: long waits @ the desk for answers to simple questions (we were there over Easter […] weekend and there was no list of local churches available, which I thought was strange), and most importantly our vehicle was damaged while under the care of the hotel- our name was taken by the valet in charge and we were never contacted as to what would be done to rectify the situation- we inquired at the desk at our time of departure and the woman who checked us out rolled her eyes and did not address the issue. We also were given a bill for 4 days of valet parking when we only utilized that service for 1/2 day - (when we discovered the damage done to our vehicle the first day, we removed our vehicle from the hotel valet service and found other parking arrangements). Because of this we will not recommend the hotel or stay there in the future. Les mer

Very disappointing. The corridor outside our room became a crime sceen @ 3:30 am when a fight broke out and stabbing occured. The ordeal lasted 4 hrs. The entire family (including 2 young children) where forced tto stay in our rooms by police. Hotel offered no appology and spent the remainder of the morning scrubbing blood off of the carpets and walls.. […] I filed a complaint w/ Embassy Suites online, but have yet to hear back. Les mer

Lovely room, excellent breakfast however, hotel security seems to be an issue.

The hotel room was clean, quiet and roomy (I had a King). The gym was completely adequate for my needs with windows overlooking the street. Room service was very good. The front desk was not overly friendly and in fact one person was a bit rude (walking away after arrangements had been made without a word) but overall it most people were adequate.

We booked this hotel to be in downtown DC within walking distance to sights. We were able to walk everywhere, which was nice. The metro center was about 3 blocks away. The museum of Natural history was about a 15 minutes walk. The buffet breakfast was good, but the lines were too long. You need to get there early. We even got to enjoy some time at the […] pool. This hotel doesnt have wireless Internet in the rooms!

We found the hotel to be conveniently located, clean, elegant, and comfortable. The staff was uniformly pleasant and helpful. Breakfast had abundant choices, all fresh and tasty. We wish we would have known in advance that there was a significant cost per night to park. That information was not part of the description nor included in the special booking […] rate. However, we needed the car and had to park somewhere. Valet service was convenient, but it was a necessity. All in all, we would recommend this hotel and will use it again ourselves. Les mer

This hotel it's amenities, rooms, staff, location, free breakfast and happy hour are amazing ad in Washington DC! What a great value.

This hotel was a quick 5ish minute walk to the verizon center where we were attending a show, and then 5 minutes in the other direction for attractions like the wax museum. The starbucks directly across the street was super convenient. The parking garage is an extra charge of 30-40, but you can come and go as often as you please, and if you want to […] drop off luggage after checking out, the parking is still good until 5pm that day, so you can see the sights without lugging your belongings around with you or having to move your car and try to park in DC! All staff members were very nice and pleasant. My husband and I loved the suite we were given; it was a good deal compared to surrounding hotels and it was much nicer than I anticipated. We plan to stay here on our next trip to DC. Les mer

In town to visit the Smithsonian Natural History museum and it was an easy walk (about 10 minutes). Big city but we felt very safe in the area. The staff was very curtious and friendly with our three year old. Rooms were very comfortable with wonderful beds. The pool was a little cool for my taste but the hot tub was a nice change of pace. Parking was […] pricey but that is the norm in the city center. Easy walk to the Metro (Metro Center) so we didn't drive once we arrived. Would recommend to friends and come back again. Les mer

I really enjoyed my stay. The staff was very friendly, the service was excellent, and the complimentary breakfast was as good as any restaurant. I will stay there on my next trip to DC.

We stayed there for three nights. Nice staff, nice breakfast, and clean room. One evening, we left the room unoccupied for three hours and someone took a laptop computer from our room. The hotel security checked the key entry log and couldn't find anything. Weird. As weird as it is, not knowing how the thief got in there without a trace, we felt extremely […] unsafe to stay with kids. We made an arrangement so that kids could stay at our relative's after the incident. One more scary thing is that the hotel didn't have any security camera except one in the lobby!! There was no way to prevent it from happening in the future. Fortunately, no one was in the room!!! I cannot even imagine what could have happened if I was there alone or with kids. They asked us to report the incident in great length. The manager said the insurance company would contact us in three days but they called us in a week. Again, we had to report the incident again. We received a letter stating that it wasn't covered because it was our responsibility. They should have told us in the beginning when we explained the whole situation. The insurance policy is simple: you wouldn't get insurance money. Loosing money is one thing. At least we didn't have to lose time, in addition to the money lost!!! Terrible experience!! Les mer

This hotel offers great features, such as the nightly manager's reception and the free breakfast buffet for all guests. They do need to however improve their TV channels. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel staff was the best I've ever encountered, very accomadating and friendly. Nice spacious and clean rooms, fantastic full breakfast, and the Manager's Reception in the evening was a nice treat, too. I highly recommend this hotel if you're touring DC- within walking distance.

The location was excellent. However, you can not beat the wonderful FULL breakfast included in the cost of the room. Omlets made to order. Also a free manager's happy hour every evening!

The Embessy Suites Hotel Convention Centre on 10th St NW was an okay hotel and was situated near the National Theatre where we had tickets to see Jersey Boys. What was outstanding was the staff at the hotel. from the Bell Man to the front dest and people and bartenders...All were Outstanding and very curtious and super nice and very helpful. The room […] was okay, not a whole lot of room for a suite, but it was clean and kept up well. Room service in the AM was non existant but breakfast downstairs was free Sunday AM and was glad I got up to go and eat..just wanted to be served in my room...lazy on vacation! All and all was a nice expierence, especially the staff at the Embassy Suites, everyone of them! Les mer

The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

The hotel itself was fine, the service was terrible. I would like to give the benefit of the doubt, considering it was New Years Eve weekend, but, all the same, the service was absolutely horrid. They charged me for valet (even though my car was never valeted), this got taken care of, thank goodness. They attempted to charge me an additional $125+ for […] miscellaneous charges that were never explained (I had no room service or charges, etc), and my room was not cleaned properly upon arrival. I stated that the toilet was used and not flushed. When housekeeping arrived, she simply flushed the toilet. Which I had already taken care of. Nice re-cleaning, if you ask me. The front desk attendants were also very short, almost rude. The most pleasant experience I had from my stay at this hotel was the bellhop, he was very courteous. On a side note, the amenities all seemed fine, the free beverages were also fine. The breakfast buffet was very busy but very good, definitely worth the wait in line. Les mer

We (a family with 3 kids) have stayed twice now in this hotel and have been really impressed both times with its convenient location, comfortable rooms and good service. It's only a 5-minute walk to Ford's Theater, or 10 to the Mall, so it's a great location for sightseeing. The family room we used consisted of a King bed (in which our 12, 10 and 7 […] year-old all slept comfortably) while we parents slept on a comfortable fold-out couch in the living room area. Both bedroom and living room come with flat screen plasma TVs, the bathroom was top notch and it was really nice to have coffee-maker, fridge and microwave also. Breakfast is self-service although you can also order delicious made-on-the-spot omelettes. We found all the staff in the hotel to be courteous and helpful at all times and valet parking is available. There's a Starbucks immediately across the street from the hotel and a number of restaurants about one block away. We have found the hotel to be good value, particularly at off-peak times as we have stayed there just after new year's day on both occasions. Les mer

The bed and pillows are very soft-- a preference, I know, but be warned if you like it firm. The walls in this place seem incredibly flimsy-- we were at the very end of the hall behind a little vestibule but still heard a lot of noise outside the room. It sounded like they had someone doing plumbing repairs upstairs at 8am on a holiday! Not good for […] customer comfort. We had a suite, and there was a gigantic dresser, the deepest one I've ever seen, against the wall under the tv, leaving at most 12 inches of space to walk between it and the bed. The bathroom fixtures, while fairly new, were impossible to turn off completely, serenading you with leaks and drips all night. Like many hotels in the area they charge a bullcrap fee for using the internet in the room. Just an annoying experience for us overall. Les mer

Room was a nice size, could have slept 6 if necessary. Everything was clean, breakfast was good.

The hotel is located walking distance to all of the museums and the Verizon Center as well as Chinatown. The staff is really wonderful and management made sure that everything was great. We had two adults, a newborn, a 6 year old and a 9 year old. We all were comfortable and there was plenty of room for our stuff. Go early to the breakfast buffet because […] it stays crowded from 8:15 on. The omelets are great! The evening reception served free cocktails, beer and wine and they even had pre-mixed Shirley Temple's for the kids. We had pizza delivered one night while we drank at the reception for a great evening. The kids loved the pool. We did park across the street instead of using the valet because it was half the price. I cannot say enough about how wonderful our stay was. We booked two rooms, three people each, everything from a nine year old & teenagers on up. The staff was excellent!! Could not have been more friendly and helpful. One staff member said "you're at home with us" and I truly felt that comfortable there. The accomodations were wonderful, the beds so […] comfortable. No backaches here! The pool was clean and inviting (more of a lap pool - 3 feet.) The hot tub was great after a hard day of walking around DC. The Finn&Porter restaurant was superb. Had the best piece of salmon I've had in a long time. It was also very nice for breakfast. We only got to stay two nights, but I will definitely return there when visiting DC. It was great, only a couple of blocks from two Metro stations and a quick walk to the White House, which was the object of our visit. Thank you Embassy Suites for helping make a memorable weekend. The hotel room that was reserved was a smoking room and smoking was not requested. The room that was given was unsatisfactory. There were holes in the wall, tv was buzzing all night. Overall the room was not worthe the money that was paid. We will not stay at this Hotel again.

Like all other Embassy Suites hotels that we've stayed at,, the Embassy Suites Hotel at the Washington Convention Center is top notch. The hotel is conveniently located to the Verizon Center, the Convention Center, the Washington DC museums and attractions, restaurants and the Metro System. Staff was very pleasant. I enjoyed manger's reception and especailly breakfast buffet. I was able to get a good meal without thinking aobut it ahead and get to my meeting well nourished.

Was there for a night after my husband and I got married. The hotel itself was great -- the concierge sent us up a fruit and cheese tray to celebrate our marriage and everything. Highlights: -- very clean, very spacious rooms. -- cocktail hour (and on the house, too!) -- super friendly staff -- the walls are apparently as soundproof as you could imagine. […] As we walked to our room, we passed a neighbor's room and overheard yelling/a too loud TV. However, we could not hear it in our room. -- breakfast was super tasty and helped wake us up after a great night's rest. The only drawbacks were: -- so many kids. I mean, really. Just so many kids. And on a random weekend in August too! -- the pool was very small and always crowded. -- really, really rude fellow guests. -- there really isn't much going on within walking distance if you're looking for a quick, non-hotel snack or pack of cigarettes. As you see, two of the drawbacks were weekend-specific (guests/kids), one was mostly weekend-specific (pool being overcrowded because the hotel was so full), and the last one? Just make sure you have all the items you'll need. If you know you have cravings for ice cream right before bed, the rooms have well-working mini fridges with freezers, so buy some before you get to the hotel and chill it out! If you don't get to stop before getting to the hotel, the gift shop is pretty well stocked, though a bit pricey. Les mer

Had to go to DC Convention Center for the weekend. Great location and staff was awsome. Have stayed at multiple Embassy Suites but this was the best stay by far. Very clean, staff very friendly and breakfast was great. The employees from the desk to the valet were the best I have encountered in a long time. My family really enjoyed the stay.

Aside from the suite itself being not so welcoming because of the green walls and energy-saving lighting, which was of green cast, and the outside noise at night, our stay at the Embassy Suites was quite nice. I really cannot say enough about the staff, who were, to a person, wonderful to us and very, very professional. The complimentary breakfast was […] great, especially since we were in a hurry both mornings. Again, aside from the suite being a bit depressing because of the color and the lighting, and the occasional noise at night -- which I guess one can expect in the city -- our stay was very pleasant. This was a great experience. The staff were really nice and helpful. The room was clean and well supplied. I am very happy with my stay there and will go back again.
