The staff was awesome and helpful. Me and my son had just got off a cruise and wanted to stay an extra night in New orleans. I chose this hotel because l liked its look and wasnt let down. The property is beautiful and the over all feel is great too. I will be staying there next time I visit New orleans.

I thought the hotel staff was very polite and friendly. The room was cozy and reminded me of home. There was always a place close by to park. Would definitely stay again.

Hotel room was clean and comfortable. The property was quaint, with real pleasant patios and outdoor breakfast area. Bathroom a little small, but it was functional. Biggest issue was there was no daily maid service. That was a surprise, and would keep me from returning.

Thoroughly enjoyed it , only a one night stay , but we will return. The staff was super nice. Located in hip Bywater. Recommend. Great value.

For the price this was great The boys at the desk couldnt be more helpfull or pleasant The place is a bit older and is a good walk to the main street but the real old town harm is all around this hotel Great breakfast Try it a d remember where you are and you will love it

If you know anything about NOLA you know the music is on Frenchman St. at night. This hotel is 3 blocks away. Our Jazz Fest weekend couldn't have been better. The hotel staff and owners (yes, the owners where there to make sure everyone was happy and taken good care of) are so friendly we felt like family and didn't want to go home when fest was over, […] also this is an old historical place so if you want new and fancy you won't get it here but you will get the real New Orleans. We will be back for Jazz Fest next year and many more to follow. Les mer

We had a great time.......loved that it was centrally located to Frenchman Street with all the great Cafes and Music. Loretta Bakery is just a few blocks away and they have the best Pralines baked fresh everyday and serve a great home cooked meal every Friday. We had catfish strips with collard greens and cornbread. The sweet potato pie is wonderful […] too. We don't have the Southern specialties in Southern California so it was a real treat. Les mer

This place was different in a great way. I was nervous at first but we stayed overnight and it was the best most affordable place. I am happy with my decision. The overall location, cleanliness and ecliptic atmosphere is totally worth it,

Me and one girlfriend went here for spring break and loved it! Ten minute walk to Bourbon. Could not have asked for more.

Our room was very big and the beds were great. The bathroom was small and the doors didn't quite shut right, but it was clean. The people in the office were super nice and helpful, and gave great recommendations. The best part was the location - for a very reasonable price, we were *right* next to Frenchmen St and easily within walking distance of Bourbon […] St and all the French Quarter's lovely attractions. Since I was traveling alone, and bargain hunting, I feared a "moderate" hotel during spring break would be disappointing. Not so! The staff were personable, the room was actually a suite (I had a king-sized bedroom just to change clothes in!), and it was loaded with old New Orleans character, complete with a lush courtyard, where they served continental […] breakfast. I will definitely stay there again, and take friends. I walked to most of my destinations (Frenchmen St., French Quarter), and figured out easy public transportation for the rest. Les mer

Olde Town Inn was cute but old. Office staff was very nice. As long as you realize it is a different and older, quaint hotel, I think you'll enjoy it.

The inn is old and not well maintained. It's like a dingy motel in Bulgaria or something. There s no reception at nights so I arrived 10pm after a long drive and wanted to order take away food. Their info at the room were all out of date, no one was at the reception to ask for information, it's like disorganized and amateur. Anyway if you like old european […] looking, cold damp bad service motels, go to the Balkans or something. I bet it's much better there too. Les mer

The room we were in was a little cramped but that was to be expected in an old building like this. Everyone was friendly, the neighborhood is fine. We spent time at our fave: Marie's just down the street. Best Dive EVER. Anyways. Hotel was great. THANKS!

OMG What a awful hotel!!!! Filthy dirty, holes in wall, Bathroom door broken,ceiling falling down. No receptacle in bathroom so if you blow dry your hair or use a electric shaver forget it. The only thing going for it is that it's close to the French Quarter. The breakfast is served outside and it was 40 degrees. There was nothing good to eat.

If you appreciate old splendor and charm this is the place to stay! If you want corporate dazzle dazzle pay twice as much in the quarter! So maybe the mattress is not the softest. We weren't writing a remake of Princess and the Pea. A wonderful place to spend the night after a day of exploring New Orleans.

I loved this place! It is quirky but has a very New Orleans feel, in a great area close enough to be convenient to the Quarter without being so immersed in it that you can't relax and get a good night's sleep. The staff was so nice and answered all questions we had about restraunts and tours and times every thing. The room was a suite and was huge it was very clean .. But it was cold there was no central a/c or heat but they had box heaters for you. And a window units. Thats honestly the only complain i have . The court yard was clean fully stocked with drinks […] and breakfast . Pleanty of seating outside and washer and dryers. I would go back there anytime to book for future travel plans Les mer

Better than French Quater hotel i moved to for rest of my stay and this hotel was about athird of the cost. wished i had stayed here my entire visit. Brought my bike so thevfew blocks from French Quarter was not an issue.I will stay here next time.

just questions ! 1. why no telephones in the rooms? why after being in business for so long you have no central air an heat? why does the beds squeak in room 30 the way it does? why are the T.V.s so out dated? just a lot of amenities needed for comfort in this modern era. would stay again but not for very long! We loved it. We are so tired at staying at the same old motels. What a great experience to stay somewhere where we felt like guests, not customers. It's old, the floors slope and the shower curtain is too long but it oozes charm. The breakfast area is a delight. We spent some time sitting there admiring the junk and watching the birds. The French Quarter […] is a convenient walk away. Far enough to avoid all the drunks and the noise but close enough to be a convenient walk past a lot of unique architecture. And, on the way between the Inn and the French Quarter there's Frenchman's Street with all its restaurants and art market. A real gem. We will recommend it to anyone who is going to New Orleans. Excellent location if you plan to be on foot for your visit to New Orleans. There was at least one comfortable bed, which was enough for us, and I kinda wish there had been a desk for spreading out maps and postcards. Anyway, if you're spending more time in your hotel besides the time it takes to sleep and shower while on vacation in NOLA, then you're […] doing it wrong. My adult daughter and I stayed here over the weekend for 3 nights. The oddest thing was being shown to a room with nine beds and there was only the two of us. The room was very clean and I believe if we hadn't asked for two separate beds, we might have been in the courtyard area that had a security gate and what appeared to be very charming guest quarters. […] Really enjoyed the area Marigny - clearly not so touristy and very charming neighborhood! I was surprised when I saw 8 beds in my room. This place is fun if you are a family or a group, not for a couple (particularly this room where we stayed). There was only one person on the desk and every time someone checks in he had to lock the front door so he could show the guest their room, kinda weird but I guess its ok to be somewhat different. […] I forgot his name, but he was very friendly and co-operative. The place is closer to French Quarters, so the location is great. Rooms were clean. I would give 7 out of 10. Les mer

This place is a cute spot in a convenient location. It could use some repair and upkeep as well as some new mattresses, but is well worth the price for a short stay. It might be rather noisy during busy times of year.

We were a bit underwhelmed with this hotel, given the ratings; however, the value for a Friday night was really outstanding... and who uses their hotel room for anything more than sleep while in New Orleans?! We got one of the last rooms available in the hotel. It turns out that we got a room that had 6 single beds and a little restroom -- low toilet […] and single stall shower. The room smelled faintly of sewer gas, but wasn't overwhelming. The bathroom was tiny, not well-designed, and a bit dingy. The rest of the room was very clean. It would have been perfect for a college crew or something like that. The hotel is close to the quarter, and very close to Frenchmen Street, which is the new version of what Bourbon Street was supposed to be before it forgot who it was and sold out to corporate interests. Anyway, to summarize, the room was good enough, and the value for Friday night lodging on a budget was attractive. Would consider staying again, but only on Friday or Saturday when everything else is overpriced. Les mer

Wenn man die Bourbon Street sehen will, ist das Hotel super gelegen. Zu Fuss 15 min zu gehen und man ist mitten drin. Das Hotel hat schöne Möglichkeiten zum draußen sitzen (auch Frühstück gibt es draußen). Unser Zimmer war klein mit zwei Räumen mit je einem Bett. Das Hotel hat einfach einen tollen Charme, da verzeiht man auch kleine Mängel (z.B. wackelnde […] Wasserhähne). Das gehört einfach dazu. Les mer

Trevlig personal, nära french Quartet. Men det vara bara 1 kvarter från ett område man inte skulle gå till. Men killen var snäll Ica berättade vart man inte borde gå. Vi bokade samma dag som vi kom så vi fick ett rum med 6 st sängar. Det var i ett gammalt hus och var lite läskigt med så många sängar och så stort rum. Men skulle kunna bo där igen för […] det var lämpligt gång avstånd till det vi ville se och mysig innergård. Les mer

Superbra om man vill ha ett mysigt litet rum, när till French Quarters, det är himla kallt i rummen om det är kallt ute. Men det brukar inte vara ett problem nere i NO.
