Harbour Ville Hotel - Singapore

This is a good no-frills hotel for travellers who are always on the go and on a budget. Nearest MRT station is one short bus ride away. Except for noises coming from a nearby construction (which should disappear when the building is completed), the neighborhood is quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Fair value for the rate.

There were ants all in my bed. The hotel was conveniently located. I enjoyed having free internet. It was quite affordable at a time that most hotels were booked and were charging very high.

All is well except the pillow is too soft and as a result,I had sore neck the next day. The tv signal was poor as well. I would like to commend the good service of the staff and the nice ambience for breakfast.

Booked for 3people and only got 1 bed....have to asked for the 3rd bed!!!!

Postage stamp size Superior room on outskirts of city - I would pay more any day to stay somewhere else. This hotel was far away from the city, small dirty - construction all around - jackhammer outside room at 8 am. Worst experience ever

A ok hotel to stay for transit, check in late and check out early next morning, but for nothign else. The taxi driver told us that the hotel was for "Men to bring ladies" We did not see anything in particular. But the breakfast was a joke. Watery eggs and uncooked sausages. White toast and peanut butter. Won't go back again.

Would recomend this hotel with a reservation to the location, you will need a taxi for food or even a beer as it is well out of the way. On the plus side though I ad flown in from Papua New Guinea and needed some sleep this was an excellent choice as tats what I got a very quite hotel. This is one of the worst hotels we have ever stayed. Room was not clean, ants were on the night table and closets, shower curtains had fungus stains. Shower, toilet bowl and bathroom sink have no clear separation, so if you take a shower everything gets wet. We were supposed to stay there 5 nights; we left after the first night even though we lost the […] money for the 4 nights remaining (They do not reimburse for early check out, Is a good trick, when a client is not satisfied and leave early, they can rent the room two times). We learnt that as Singapore is a very expensive city, the only way to find a “decent” hotel is to pay double the price this hotel costs. Les mer

It was our 1st time trip to Singapore, with our main goal was to visit Sentosa Island. Stuck to limited budget, we try to search for low budget hotel which is nearest to Sentosa. That make us met Harbour Ville Hotel online. Yup, the room is good enough for 3 nights stay for me,husband & one 3 years old son. Although it was not so big, but really comfortable […] & spaceful enough for us because we had experience with much much smaller than that before. The only problem (if I can so) was the very limited parking. However, the customer service/person in duty in the check -in counter is very helpful. You just need to leave your car key & they'll help to park you car later or they can give you a call once there is any free parking lot. Another thing, there is no any food stall or shop or 7Eleven surround it. But they do provide breakfast in their terrace downstairs (thanks for that). Seems we drive our own car to Singapore,it is so easy for us to go to Harbourfront tower (to fetch the cable car) or even to Sentosa directly. It was just 5-10 minutes away (just make sure you occupied yourself with a good map, of course!) Thanks to Harbour ville Hotel services. I'll choose this hotel again in future if we comeback for another trip to Sentosa Island. Les mer

Good clean hotel. Nice and quite environment. Only draw back is location a bit off and unless you drive or don't mind bus trips, can have accessability problem.

can't walk to MRT station needs to take a bus. not so good smell in room.

Note that I travel 120-150 days a year and mostly stay in 4/5 star hotels. this was a private visit, hence I stayed on a budget place. This is a cheap hotel when it comes to price. Its location might scare you off, but jump onto any of the buses passing by and Chinatown is only 4-5 stops away - and you find taxis, shops etc there. rooms are ok, you […] can even wash and dry clothes for 5S$ each. There is internet via cable in the room but this is expensive. its is free in the lobby! anyway, there are a huge number internet cafes in Singapore, so don't let this scare you. Note: for this price, you cannot find a better hotel in Singapore. I would recommend it - absolutely. far better than expected. Les mer

The hotel is very clean and helpful but it requires a bus ride or a taxi ride to even eat breakfast. The hotel was being renovated and their was no food available even in the morning. It was quite exhausting to have to get on the bus and travel for 15-20 minutes to get anything to eat.

The room is not large but it's clean and I was pleasantly surprised as the bathroom had both a hand-held shower and a tap which makes it very convenient for Muslim visitors when taking their ablution. Getting public transportation is a breeze. Taxis are aplenty and there is a bus stop nearby. The hotel is very near Vivo City/Harbour Front, making it […] convenient if you want to go to Sentosa. Breakfast is simple but satisfying and the staff helpful. The negative side is that the hotel is nowhere near any restaurants or cafes. A great Hotel for the price, very clean and central to every thing on our list to see.

We stayed 1 night and for that purpose, the hotel was OK. It's not new anymore, but it was clean and so it fullfilled the purpose. Location is not the very best, but with regular buses directly in front of the hotel, Chinatown can be achieved in about 10 Minutes. Recommended for low budget on short stay.

Wish I'd paid a bit more and stayed in a better hotel. Location was only good for walking to cable car (bout a 20 min walk uphill). Nothing around to explore at night. Would recommend a different area such as Little India if budget is a main priority. Family rooms do not exist - don't be fooled when booking.

Nice Hotel, Service was very good, english speaking staff, knowledge of attractions was good, great directions. Good help. Hotel smelled, the room smelt, but overall not bad.

We found our two rooms at the Harbour Ville clean, comfortable and sufficiently spacious for our needs and budget. The small refrigerator in each room served us well as we stored juices and drinks for ourselves and our two teenagers during out three night stay. The reception staff was efficient, courteous and helpful. The breakfasts consisted of […] scrambled eggs, hot dogs and hash browns every day, along with either fried noodles or fried rice depending on the day of the week. Bread and jams were also provided daily as well as coffee, tea, milk, cereal and cold water (no juices or fruit). The fitness center was limited (one tread mill and a universal weight center) but sufficient for a light workout. The nearest bus stop was only about a minute's walk from the hotel and bus service to both Orchard Road and Harbourfront (for crossing over to Sentosa island) were available from there. Renoverat och fint hotell i bra läge. Prismässigt är det bara de riktiga budgethotellen som ligger lägre, kvalitetsmässigt så får du betydligt mer än vad som erbjuds på många andra ställen. Nyrenoverat under 2011, så rummen är väldigt fräscha och moderna. Internet ingår i rummet, plus frukost. Sköna sängar, vänlig personal. Ligger en bit utanför de […] riktigt centrala delarna, men busshållplatsen ligger precis utanför hotellet och det går snabbt att ta sig till in till centrum. 酒店離地鐵遠,１開房門就是床空間很細,窗門離地1.8米高,外面車路聲音全晚都車輛聲音連走廊有人行過你都知,床單三天都無換,水喉聲太大連隔離房冲凉都知,隔離有教堂每‧早8時至晚上8時都打鐘,一句話下次唔好制.

Hotellet ligger strax utanför det riktiga centrum, men det är lätt att ta sig över allt genom bussarna som stannar precis utanför. En skön tio-minuterspromenad tar dig också till Singapores största shoppingcenter VivoCity. Hotellet har genomgått en ombyggnad under 2011 och har nu blivit rejält uppfräschat. Rummen är lyxigare, frukostterrassen är finare […] och lobbyn har fått en helt annan känsla än tidigare. Dessutom ingår nu wifi i alla rummen, en fin service! Frukost måndag-lördag ingår också. Enklare, men helt okej. Sängarna är sköna, badrummet är fräsch, och städning sker varje dag. Prismässigt ligger hotellet oftast i ett mellanläge mellan de dyrare i centrum och de billigaste hotellen där det ofta också går att betala rummen per timme... Kort sammanfattat så var det här hotellet helt okej tidigare, men har efter renoveringen blivit minst en klass bättre. Rekommenderas varmt! Les mer

最大的不满意：房间没有宽带网。用一个ＭＯＤＥＭ，速度只有２０bps，而且3个新币一小时。太难受了。 需要上网的朋友，请不要选择此酒店。

j'ai choisi la chambre la moins chère, et je suis plutôt déçue. Une toute petite fenêtre avec vue sur les clim de l'hôtel. Le ménage fait tous les jours mais les vitres et le miroir pas nets. A 10 min à pied d'un centre commercial avec resto, métro...

Harbour Ville är ett trevligt budgethotell i hyfsat centralt läge. Busshållplats både till centrum, stora shoppingcenter och sandstrand finns beläget precis utanför. Superiorrummen är stora och bra, standardrummen är i stället i väldigt minsta laget. Under vintern 2010-2011 så pågår renovationer, så det kan vara lite stökigt och ingen frukost serveras. Trevlig […] personal som ständigt ler och gärna hjälper till. Vad som inte är lika trevligt är att hotellet också används för "snabbisar". Män kommer dit både med prostituerade och älskarinnor och hyr ett rum för ett par timmar.. Det stör inte nämnvärt, men det kan vara bra att vara förberedd på det. Les mer

Ingen hög klass och inget centralt läge men nära till Sentosa kabinbanan och trevlig personal. Detta är en budgetalternativ med tanke på hur mycket hotellen kostar i Singapore.

Die Zimmer im Hotel sind relativ klein aber OK. Das Frühstück wird auf einer kleinen Terrasse hinter dem Hotel serviert. Hier herrscht Selbstbedienung, als Buffet kann man die Auswahl nicht bezeichnen. Es ist alles sehr spartanisch und hier geht es auch nicht wirklich appetitlich zu. In der Nähe des Hotels hat es eine Busstation, es war überhaupt kein Probelm. Von der Sauberkeit, war es ganz in Ordnung - war hatten es dreckig erwartet.

Verweg van de wijk Chinatown. Jammer !! Rustige buurt. Attente medewerkers. Weinig ruimte voor internet gebruikers.

Must not compare to leisure/resort hotels, not expect general hotel service cz this is the place to stay wiht low cost. Facilities are old and not efficient but just good for monies. Just 10min walk to Vivo City. There is free parking lots. People who don't walk or drive, there are 3 bus route services quite convenient location. Reception staffs […] are nice and helpful. Just 10 - 15min walk to Vivo City, free paking. Facilities is too old, noisy air conditioning and funny designed bathroom, but probably good considering the room rate. One of the reception staffs is always with a nice smile and very kind and helpful. She has great recognisions of customers.

Just a basic place. It's 15 min walk to VIVO CITY. Washing machine and laundry dryer on 2 nd floor, which is good if you stay more than a week. For internet, you have to ask the reception to borrow a connection set and pay S$3 per hour.
