Dette hotellet er et meget flott hotell. Her opplever man luksus og topp service i en rolig atmosfære. Hotellet ligger litt utenfor sentrum men det er veldig bra for de som ønsker ro og fin atmosfære når man er på hotelle, samtidig er det kort avstand inn til byen. De har europas beste Spa avdeling her (kåret i 2011). Dette hotellet kan anbefales på det beste.

Fantastisk opphold i Roma på et hotell med uforglemmelig service! Som et eksempel kan nevnes at en i reisefølget fylte år mens vi var der, og helt uforberedt ble vi i frokosten den gjeldende dagen servert musserende vin og hjemmebakt kake samtidig som betjeningen sang for hun som fylte året. Ellers, kan nevnes velutstyrte rom og sjeldent godt utvalg i frokosten.

Kjempebra hotell som ligger svært godt til i forhold til opplevelser i Roma. Var veldig fornøyd med hotellet, det eneste som drar ned er at sengene var litt for harde. Ellers super service. Har aldri opplevd at rommet blir ordnet 2 ganger om dagen før. Og så fikk vi sjokolade og en oppdatert værmelding til kvelden. Veldig bra hotell :-)

Godt fornøyd, det holder hva det lover. Rom mo bakgården, ingen utsikt, men stille og rolig. God WIFI, hyggelig frokostsal og mat, hyggelige mennesker. Og meget god takterrasse, som godt kunne vært åpen tidligere på dagen.

Forum var hjertet av antikkens Roma, det var hit alle veier førte. Besøkende flokker hit for å gå i de samme gatene hvor Julius Caesar en gang gikk, den gangen dette var sentrum for Romerrikets handel, politikk og rettsvesen. I nærheten ligger også Colosseum, beskrevet av Lord Byron som "gladiatorenes blodige sirkus", verdens mest berømte amfiteater og den mest imponerende av alle Romas bygninger og ruiner.

Vi var veldig tilfreds med oppholdet på hotell Raffaello. Sentral beliggenhet med gangavstand til de fleste viktige severdighetene. God renhold, grei service. Frokosten ok, noe liten kapasitet i forhold til antall rom. Savnet variasjon særlig i brødutvalget. Kan anbefales.

Helt OK hotell. Nær beliggenhet til absolutt alt. Vi brukte nesten ikke noen transportmiddler. Når vi skal tilbake til Roma ,kommer vi helt sikkert overnatte på Raffaello.
"God valuta for pengene"
Et bra hotell midt mellom Colosseum og Termini. Ligger i en rolig sidegate. Flott bad med god dusj på rommet. Betjent frokost med brukbart utvalg. Kunne bestille all slags kaffe uten tillegg i prisen. Hit kommer vi gjerne tilbake.

"Hotell Raffaello - svært god, sentral beliggenhet"
Hotellet ga oss en god opplevelse med vårt opphold i Roma. Rommet var veldig rent og pent. Badet likeså. Området var rolig, frokosten veldig god. Resepsjonen kunne hatt bedre fokus med info og anbefalinger for oss turister. Vi reiser likevel gjerne tilbake hit .

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfasts. Good location - easy walking distance to most tourist locations and close to the termini if you wanted to use public transport. Slightly overpowering decor, but very comfy and clean. Hope I will be going back!

Lovely friendly small hotel with helpful, approachable staff. We enjoyed the breakfast with everything a continental breakfast should be plus scrambled and boiled eggs and fresh coffee and toast. The hotel didn't charge for the safe in the room which was unusual and tea/coffee was always available free of charge. In a quiet backstreet away from traffic […] noise, lovely to unwind after busy days sightseeing. Within walking distance of the sights, this hotel offered the perfect base for a great city break. "Raffaello Rome, close to station and Colliseum"
We came in from airport so 40 Euro taxi, but left by train a nine minute easy walk to Termini, past some great restaurants and clothing shops. In the same street, Via Urbana, there are workshops ranging from jewellery to mechanics, its the nature of the craftsmen in the area, dont forget the great chocolate shop either. Hotel has a small lift, which […] is not unusual) but because it stops between floors you will have a few steps to take your bags either up or down. Room comfortable, all front desk staff we met spoke great English and were tolerent of our non existent Italian. The rooms all decorated just like in the brochure/online which was good, padded walls, matching decor, reasonable bathroom, incredible heating, (great for first weeks of January)and we could vary /turn the radiators off if required. Shower in bath a bit awkward but then they usually are. Toiletries good, and fluffy slippers in the room with Hotel Raffaello label. Better than the other three star hotels we stayed at in Italy (Florence, Venice). Good breakfast offering including hot scrambled eggs, full continental meat selection and some cereals. The location was great and the staff very helpful and friendly. We stayed there on two occasions during our vacation. The first room was very comfortable and the second was quite cozy. Thankfully, it was only for one night. The breakfast was excellent and the location was very convenient. October 2011

I selected this hotel due to its proximity to the train station. We didn't realize when taking the train from the airport to the main station that the airport train stops at the very southern end of the station and the hotel is at the very northern end and off by 5-7 blocks. Other than dragging our bags across a lot of unnecessary curbs to get to the […] hotel everything else was great. We appreciated the free wifi in our room and the breakfast included with the price was very good. "Hotel Raffaello - quiet location close to sights"
We stayed here for a 3-day short Autumn break. The Raffaello is located just off the Via Cavour on a pleasant, quiet side street. There are plenty of good restaurants - frequented by the locals - within 10 minutes walk. The Hotel staff were welcoming and the rooms stylishly decorated. The only negative for us was the VERY firm bed and excruciatingly […] solid pillows; but then, we always seem to find this in Italy! The breakfast - served on the mezzanine - was very good with a wide selection of fruits, meats, cheeses, croissants and pastries, plus juices and jugs of great coffee. The Raffaello is an excellent hotel choice; reasonably priced and all the key sites of the ancient city can be walked to within a few minutes. Cavour Metro station is also a few minutes away, which will take you to the further away places like the Vatican. We would definitely stay here again, when in Rome - but would pack our own pillows! "Hotel raffaello"
Good location ten minutes walk from station, in a quiet area. Many artisan art and craft businesses and restaurants on Via Urbana or nearby. Breakfast was excellent. Nice touch was help yourself to coffee and tea in the lounge. The only downside was I could find no English channels on the room tv.

"Excellent small vacation hotel"
We returned to Raffaello after a delightful stay three years ago. This September visit was at a busier time, so we were in a smaller room, but it was still very nice. The hotel is in easy walking distance (eight blocks or less) to the Colosseum and Termini Station, ideal for a visit. Metro access is about three blocks. Good restaurants are within a […] block. "Great hotel in the perfect location"
This was on a quiet street just behind a main street in the center of Rome. I had just one night, but the stay was great and the room was a bit worn but clean and comfortable. The staff were kind and professional, and the breakfast (free!) was tasty and generous. I would absolutely stay here again.

What a little stunner. This hotel was marvellous. The people who run it should be running the country. They were efficient, courteous and considerate. We arrived in the morning after a 32 hour journey, long before check-in, wondering how we would freshen up for a day of sightseeing. We were immediately shown to an area were we could relax, and refresh […] before setting out. We reported a minor fault in our air conditioner (it dripped a bit) and a technician repaired in the next morning. The rooms and bathrooms were spotless and beatifully appointed and the breakfast was very good. Of particular note was the delicately cooked scrambled egg and the graceous, welcoming breakfast room staff. We returned for a second stay a week later and it felt like coming home. Les mer

The hotel is great andthe location is great but the best part was the staff. INCREDIBLY HELPFUL AND KIND. Over 3 weeks of Italian travel this was some of the friendliest staff I encountered! Hotel was immaculate. Didn't know what to expect because of previous hotel room in Rome. This was a back-up and it delivered. Breakfast was free and pretty good if you got there early when the eggs were fresh. Unlimited wi-fi for the duration of your stay for twenty-five euro. We stayed in Hotel Raffaello and would defintely recommend onto others! It's a 5 min walk from the Colosseum/Arch of Constantine/Palatine Hill. The Hotel room was kept very clean and the breakfast buffet was very good too, the only area for improvement for us would be if it had a bar area/restaurant where you could socialise in the evening, as we didn't […] want to venture out too far at night but apart from that the hotel is brilliant and staff very friendly! "Hard to find"
Taxie drivers did not know this hotel so after the first time having to get out reservation, we picked up business cards to give to the drivers. It is down a small street but the front desk had taxis in 1 minute. My husband laughed and said yeah sure one minute but it was less than one minute. One driver charged 25 euros from the Vatican to this hotel. […] Ridiculous. He then took my 20 euros and as I turned to get 5 euros from my husband he then had a 5 euro in his hand and not the 20 I gave him. This is good for a three star hotel, reasonable price and good location in central Rome, close to the train station. The area is not that interesting, but has a 15 minute walk to everything you want to see.

I really loved the Hotel Raffaello, the location was very convenient especially for the price. The front desk staff wasw exceptional, especially with tracking down my friend's lost luggage - the followed up with the airlines daily. the breakfast was great. For reference, there was a small grocery in almost any direction within 2 blocks, and a phone/internet […] place down the street (cheap calls anywhere for those w/o international phones, SIM cards, etc.). My only complaint at all is with regards to the shower. I am a plus size lady but not enormous, and I had to squeeze through the shower door. The shower was one of the really complicated conoles with a bunch of different spray options (I think even a full body one). The big problem is the console took up almost half the shower. I accidentally turned off the water twice with my belly (and that's not the biggest part of me!), there wasn't room to turn around in the shower. It was a bit ridicoulous. Les mer
Hotel in convenient to train station (5 min walk) and Colloseum (10-15 min walk). Very clean, good service, and affordable. Will definitely stay here again if we make it back to Italy.
"Great for families!"
Upon arrival in Rome, I was a bit suspicious about staying at Hotel Raffaello for the simple reason that it is adjacent to the police station and seemed to be in an out of the way location. The front desk manager was very helpful, though, and within moments my family was off on our walking adverture and found that there is lots to see and do in the […] immediate area. The property is situated close to the church of San Pietro (which is also the closest tour bus stop), the train station, and walking distance to the Colosseum and Roman Forum. In addition to the location, I would recommend the Hotel Raffaello as a great value hotel. Our family enjoyed a two bedroom suite for a very reasonable rate. The rooms were small, but comfortable and well appointed. The bathroom was also small (and if you are on the heavy side, the shower stall is gonna be a nightmare for you!), but the amenities basket was plentiful and continually refreshed by the housekeepers. But the best thing about the Hotel Raffaello? Breakfast, which is included in your room rate. The breakfast spread is just fabulous. Powdered donuts, croissant (plain, sugared or chocolate!), muffins, eggs (hard boiled and scrambled), yogurt, fruit, juices, and the best coffee in the world. Seriously, the coffee was unbelievable. And hot cocoa for the kids. Of all the things I miss about the Hotel Raffaello, I think I miss the breakfasts most of all. If you are used to staying at the Four Seasons, this is not the hotel for you. But if you are looking for a clean, family-friendly, convenient place to stay in Roms, Hotel Raffaello is the place for you! Oh, and if you stay at the Hotel Raffaello, definitely walk up the alley adjacent to the hotel and have dinner at L'Esquilino Bar. Good food, nice wine list, and lovely wait staff.
