Fint hotell med bra badeanlegg. Svært kort vei til Magic Kingdom, og reisen dit med båt var en opplevelse i seg selv for våre barn. Hotellet er stort, men det ligger fint inne skogen så det ikke ser så voldsomt ut. Fine muligheter for å gå/jogge/sykle i skogen i området.

Hotellets lobby er spektakulær. Hotellet har ganske god standard, men rimelig er det ikke. Fine svømmebasseng. Morsomt med geysir som spruter en gang i timen. Til Magic Kingdom tar man båt fra dette hotellet, veldig koselig - men til Epcot for eksempel - så er det buss. En ganske dyr middagsrestaurant, en slitsom cafe inne i lobbyen med synging og roping […] og mye styr, og en kafeteria som har både frokost og lunsj/middag. Mye frityr - men sunn mat også. LOVED this hotel! From the moment you drive up to the last minutes you are there is an experience to remember! We had superior service, clean rooms and hard to beat transportation. Our whole family loved every moment of our stay, even on the rainy days!

Very nice. Was hoping for joining rooms, but staff did best they could.. First time there so I would know what to require next time. Would recommend to any one with children. A wonderful experience.

I did find the bus service was very erratic to get to the Disney parks, there was always a bus but it seemed to be going to blizzard beach which was great if you wanted to go to Epcot or Hollywood studios. We stayed for three nights and wish it was longer. The room was great (wood view with bunk beds) and met our expectations. We didn't have a lot of time to explore all the resort has to offer. We would go back and would recommend to friends and family.

This was the first time my family has stayed at the Wilderness Lodge, and I definitely recommend it. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, the room was nice... but the convenience of the transportation to the parks (especially the Magic Kingdom) was the highlight. The hotel was rustic-themed which was nice, although the rooms could use an update. The beds were a little hard, but the lack of a duvet was disappointing. There was only one thin blanket sandwiched between two sheets. There were no extra pillows or blankets, although they would likely provide more if asked. There are no king size beds for regular guests, […] only handicapped rooms; instead, they provide two queens. Do not choose a pool facing room unless you don't mind the noise from people in the pool (open late) or the incessant horns from the ferries, also late into the night and early in the morning! The electrical parade and fireworks at night can also be clearly heard. We were "upgraded" from a woods view, and definitely regretted it. The lobby is fantastic and the public areas are very nice. Some of the staff were great and others not so much, pretty typical for most properties, but slightly disappointing from the Disney machine. The pool area seemed small without many chairs, although the actual landscaping was beautiful. The baby ducks were a nice touch! Would have been a GREAT hotel if it was adults only...! Inexplicably, do not show Fox television network, so missed some fave shows. Les mer

Really enjoyed and appreciated the "Montana-Style" lodge and the proximity to the Magic Kingdom. Transportation was very convenient with buses and boats running every 10-15 minutes (never had to wait more than 10 for a bus) and the Magical Express running to/from Orlando airport. The food in the hotel was utterly dreadful (unless your diet consists of only eating junk food - burgers etc). There was no choice in terms of healthy eating, we really struggled. This "hotel" lodge is modeled after the Old Faithful Lodge Yellow Stone, and they nailed it with a Disney twist. The lobby is gorgeous, as is the rest of the lodge. I have read some reviews on here that mention the rooms are nothing special and "regular" hotel rooms. I did not find this to be the case. My infant son started to cry during the night. I left the room to go get some milk and as soon as the door shut you couldn't hear him. Before going to Disney I researched every possible way of doing it. Staying at a luxury resort hotel, a discount hotel, renting a condo, etc.We're so glad that we decided to stay at the Wilderness Lodge. It was gorgeous with attention to the smallest details. A good disney experience and my first time in the Disney Hotels. The one thing that bothered me was the crowds, lots of families with Children with very little private time. The hotel was gorgeous and convenient to get around to the other parks. I liked having the boat option to the Magic Kingdom. The hotel smells like the rest of Disney which is a weird food smell from having restaurants everywhere and I didn't find the pillows very comfortable at all. I would recommend bringing your own. We had an unexpected layover in […] Denver on the way home and had to stay in a hotel and we slept way better than we had the whole time at Disney. I loved the little fridge in the room. Since everything is so expensive (kid you not regular coffee at Animal Kingdom $4.50), we rented a car one day and bought a bunch of food at target and Wholefoods so that we wouldn't have to buy everything on Disney property. The water coming out of the taps at Wilderness Lodge tasted and smelled so much like sulphur we could barely drink it and bought water jugs from the gift shop there. Bring your own water folks!!! The Wilderness Lodge features everything a family could want. It is a comfortable and aesthetically pleasing setting very close to the Magic Kingdom. The staff was great and went out of their way to make it fun for children as well as their parents. The pool area was quite relaxing, which was an unexpected surprise. There is even a beach with a play […] area for small children. Families can rent bicycles and motor boats to be used on a private lake. This deluxe hotel also has convenient dining options that are tasty. The rooms are comfortable and the water pressure is very good in the shower/tub area. If you have a small child that is out of diapers, you can bring them at night to the "Cubs Den" which is a day/night activities center for the kids. For a fee, you can bring the children and the parents could take advantage of some adult night that Disney offers. That is a real bonus for those folks who might want to grab some dinner without having to order off the kid's meal menu! Overall, the experience was more than pleasant as the Wilderness Lodge is a recommended stay if you want to enhance your Disney experience. Les mer

The service and staff are great. Our request for a room with a bund bed and view of the fireworks was honored. The housekeeper made an elaborate set-up of our daughter's webkinz while we were at the park. The room was comfortable and clean. The bunk beds are low and whoever is sleeping on the bottom needs to watch their heads. Fridge is a plus if you […] are traveling with kids and an additional microwave would have been even better (there is one in the Roaring Forks cafe for general use though). We liked the selections in the Roaring Forks cafe and prices were reasonable. Anything you may have forgotten to pack can be purchased in the store near the check-in. Disney tickets can be purchased at the hotel from 7am -10pm. Buses run every 20 minutes starting an hour before park opens, so one can really take advantage of the extra Magic hours. We went to the parks early, relaxed at the hotel-you can go for a nature walk and encounter lots of deer- and then visited the parks again once everybody had recharged. My stay at Wilderness Lodge was excellent! They met all of my room requests, and the rooms were just refurbished in late 2012, so everything was in great condition. The room was kept extremely clean, even the balcony was scrubbed down daily. I never had any issues with the Disney transportation to/from the parks - it was efficient and not crowded. What can I say - this Disney resort is TOP NOTCH!! Of course all Disney customer service is excellent, but there was a special something here that truly felt like home. The location is ideal if you are a fan of the Magic Kingdom (fun boat ride to MK!), but also easy to access other parks with a short bus ride. Food and drinks were excellent, as we ate […] both in Whispering Canyon for lunch and Artist Point for dinner (buffalo flank steak and the cobbler dessert were WOW!!!). The ambiance and atmosphere of the Pacific Northwest was fantastic & "homey" and of course searching the hotel for "hidden Mickeys" was fun too! As always, the hotel was beautiful as well as the ground. We could see the fireworks from our room and everyone was super helpful and friendly. We initially thought someone had previously smoked maybe a pipe in the room but teized it was whatever they use to clean as the elevator area smelled the same. The key pad cover was on the floor in the hallway […] when we got back to the room, which made me a little nervous, but still worked and there was no issue. It is by far my favorite Disney Hotel. It was an excellent choice for a family and extremely convenient to get to magic kingdom. The boat is a useful transport option. The only thing that i felt was that every time i turned around, there was an unsaid, but implied, request for a tip. I had to change money into small bills to ensure i had enough to tip. The room smelled of dampness and the check in process was very difficult over 45 minutes to check in. Also at 9:00 am on check-out date they locked us out of the room while we were having breakfast and it seems that this is the way the system works.

The Lodge was great as usual; my only real complaint is that on previous trips to the Wilderness Lodge we bought many items in the hotel gift store that directly related to the Lodge..... polo shirts , sweat shirts, ornamints, etc. We found very limited merchadise that related directly to the hotel. Being a couple we had thought that the hotel would be geared more towards families with children which was not the case. We thought we had booked a king bed through expedia but found that through expedia types of beds are only requested not guaranteed ... so you may commit to a "king bed" reservation and get two doubles as we did. Disney world is a country inside Florida. I did not rent a car and the following information is based on a week without a car. The Wilderness Lodge is a great hotel and if you are staying for 3 to 4 days - then it is perfect. Buses from the Wilderness Lodge are slow and hard to navigate to other locations. The hotel lobby was quite impressive and grand however the "standard" rooms were just that - standard. The "balcony" was pathetic - room enough for two chairs.The room size relative to the price was a disappointment! There were two sit down restaurants - one was quite pricey and the other was quite loud - Whispering Canyons. You could not get into Whispering […] Canyons (family restaurant) without a reservation or an hour wait - once you did it was very loud. At a time when you wanted your kids to start to calm down - they would get hyper again due to the nature of the restaurant which encouraged guests to scream for what they needed. The menu was also limited. Roaring forks was a Snack Bar that was available as an alternative but served virtually the same food every day. Too bad the rooms were not larger and dining options more flexible - the theme and the lobby really are quite impressive. Les mer
