Bad beds but the rest was fine. Fun location just 200 yards from the train station. Excellent English spoken and nice staff. Tons of fine restaurants on the square.

Easy to locate (10 min walk from the train station) we liked this hotel. The hotel is great value for money and there is a good selection of bars and restaurants near by. Staff were pleasant and could not be faulted. Yes, the hotel is in need of an update and looks like something out of a 70s b movie but it adds to the charm ;)

I must give this hotel a mixed review. Concierge and room service good. Quiet in the room despite energetic crowds outside. Bathroom had been remodelled and was adequate despite old-fashioned showerhead over large bathtub. Big disadvantage was the poorly lit, inadequately equipped bedroom. A locked, disconnected refrigerator stood in the room. Modernizing […] the rooms desperately needed. Complicated access to wi-fi but worked well after two attempts with incorrect passwords. Room had steam-heat that wasn't turned on despite drop in outside temperature so room was cold. We spent 2 nights at this establishment and would strongly recommend somewhere else. It is a tired and weary hotel that has seen better days. We were on the upper floor and the white sheers on the windows were grey from the dirt on them. The bathroom was moldy and the hair dryer was missing its hose which made it quite hard to dry your hair. The one […] good thing was that the sheets were crisp and clean. The Ernest Hemingway bar is on the corner and is the hangout for the 20-30's crowd and the overflow is out on the sidewalk. They make a great deal of noise between the music and laughter, shouting and the other noises so prevalent in the bar scene. Then you get to hear the many beer bottles being recycled at 3am when they close. Go anywhere but here to stay!! Les mer

The hotel had double booked my room- but worked quickly to sort it all out. It was extremely close to the station and on a street with lots of restaurants and shops. It was clean enough and comfortable enough for the price, actually I was surprised how nice it was.

The hotel is right in the centre of all the bars and restaurants, but the rooms themselves (well our two rooms and we paid extra for exclusive doubles) are very old and our bathroom left a lot to be desired. Stains all over toilet and shower leaked into room. We did not take breakfast as we read it was not worth it. It was served in a corridor type […] setting which all the other guestson floor 4 had to walk through to get to the lift. very hot and scruffy. We saw what was being served and did not look good. We asked if we paid extra if we could have a better room as our was very very hot. But this seemed to fall on deaf ears (this may be they did not have any rooms spare - but we don't know as we had no explanation). We did get a cheap deal on a family room but it was very basic. The entrance hall and stairs were in need of a good hoover. The breakfast although the kids were free was poor, better to eat out in a cafe.The location is great in that it was very central but as a result we were kept awake in the early hours by people leaving the bars below. i would shop […] around before staying here again, you get what you pay for. For a budget hotel in a central location, you cannot go wrong with this hotel. Ticked all the boxes for our one night stopover. Clean, courteous service, and decor nice enough, in a kind of faded granduer way. Breakfast was passable too.

Such an amazingly handy location for an overnight stay. For the price, the rooms were really comfortable and clean. I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay - incredible value and location.

For this price, you won't get better in Reims. Ideally located but we were glad we had a room at the back. The front rooms are located above the terrace and the pedestrian street which can be noisy at night, espcecially when the weather is fine

Stayed at the Grand Hotel du Nord in July 2011. Ok, so maybe it's not so 'Grand', but the location is excellent (right in the centre near all the Bars, Restauants and Cafes). Rooms were clean, and staff were very helpful, especially after our stay when I had left a valuable item in my room and they went out of their way to get it returned to me. Good location in the "party" center of the city (you have to like it..) .Rooms are only very basically equipped, and in need of repair here and there, but clean. The room I had had crumbling outer walls and paint coming off the window. Still, for the price the hotel was very much OK. The Grand Hotel Du Nord is well placed for everything in central Reims but the rooms are very tired. OK for one night but I wouldn't want to stay longer

Nice-looking hotel. Rooms/carpet etc. a little old. Could do with some renovation. But a Super location, situated on a pedestrian-only plaza amongst lots of outdoor cafes and bars.

The sheets and the bathroom were clean, but they need to invest in new linens. There was a big stain on the bedspread and there was a stain on the bathmat (that they did not replace with the rest of the towels). The carpet was also kind of gross. But, the biggest problem for me was this beeping sound that went off every couple of hours. I think it was […] outside. It was several beeps that sounded like an alarm clock. My husband slept right through it, but it woke me up every time, so I did not sleep well at that hotel. But, the location was great - it is a hike to the champagne houses, but we like to walk and didn't mind it. Also, you could take a bus if you wanted to. Parking was not free - it was just in a nearby parking garage or an outdoor parking lot - both very close. Les mer

It was close to the train station which helped out! The hotel was not a 3 star and id not have internet! But over all it was CLEAN and it had a great view overlooking the main plaza. The staff was friendly and it was close to a few eateries, the post, and a few banks. I would stay again just because it was very close to all.

Old building, light fixtures not working, room furniture seemed to have been bought at garage sales! But..... Very well located near the Cathedral on a street full of restaurants and, above all, though breakfast is not included, the smell of fresh bread and croissants was irresitible when we woke up!

This hotel is situated in the centre of the city surrounded by cafes restaurants and shops. It is also close to the cathedral. There are car parks very close to the hotel. This is an honest 2 star hotel with reasonable rates for a city centre. We used it as an overnight stop on our way back from the alps to the UK. I would stay here again.

Was in Reims to visit the champagne caves. Although the hotel is a long walk to the caves, it was very close to the train station and located in a very lively centre ville with numerous restaurant and bar options. The room was very basic and clean, which suited us just fine. If you are looking for luxury or a romantic get away, I would recommend staying […] elsewhere. But, if you are looking for an economical hotel for a quick trip to Reims, this is perfect. Les mer

Déjà pour accéder à l'hôtel un labyrinthe m'a fait tourner dans le quartier pendant une demi-heure. L'accueil fut agréable, mais la chambre attribuée au 3ème étage ne donnait pas sur la ville et le patio ! comme indiqué dans le mail, mais sur une tuyauterie d'aération; j'ai obtenu une chambre au 2ème avec vue sur la place. Tout est vieux et bricolé […] dans cet hôtel; la salle d'eau est adaptée pour un nain, et pas deux ! quant au linge de toilette,usagé mais découvert au matin, après une nuit d'insomnie due au bruit et à une sirène sonnant toutes les demi-heures (cinéma en face) Les mer

Pas d'eau dans la chambre, pas de verre, même en plastique, pas de savon, un petit rouleau de papier toilette. Lit défoncé (deux petits cote à cote), les rideaux ne ferment pas. Pas de geste commercial, au contraire, on vous tend insolemment 1,20€ de taxe d'habitation (on a failli devoir aller chercher la monnaie) et on vous explique que la rénovation […] prend toute l'énergie... mais pas les deux étoiles... pas méritées. Hotel très bien situé si on veut faire la fête dans la rue piétonne! L'hotel est très près des bars, karokés,...une horreur pour les gens qui veulent dormir!!!! Et les spots de l'hotel qui éclairent toute la chambre sans pouvoir fermer les volets ou autres...Bref un hôtel à éviter si vous voulez une nuit paisible!!!

Prima hotel, wat ouderwetse grandeur, maar hotel wordt vernieuwd. Ontbijt op de 4e etage, met mooi uitzicht. Hotel ligt wel tussen horeca, 's avonds wel rumoerig.

D'accord, cet hôtel est en plein centre de Reims, sur la place d'Erlon. Si la situation est votre critère principal, n'hésitez pas... sinon, vous trouverez un meilleur rapport qualité / prix ailleurs.

très bien situé mais pas de possibilité de recevoir de facture avec TVA sur place.

Les + : Bon accueil, personnel sympa, tarifs économiques. Les - : Hotel désuet (en regard avec les prix), mauvaise isolation phonique aussi bien sur l'extérieur (fenêtre) que l'intérieur (on entend les autres occupants dans les couloirs ou chambres comme si on y était), bref pas facile de dormir...

Céntrico, en el paseo que desemboca en la maravillosa catedral de Reims. La alegría dura poco cuando se entra: desorden, muebles viejos por los pasillos, baños muy viejos, tolallas sucias, pésimo mantenimiento de las instalaciones, cutre y decadente. No ofrece servicios de desayuno, ellos mismos te recomiendan una cafetería. Lo peor, el trato: no nos […] facilitaron el libro de reclamaciones, ni cauce ninguno de protesta. Inadmisible. Les mer

Hotel très bien situé mais du coup bruyant car il y a plusieurs bars brasseries à proximité. Grosse déception en arrivant nous n'avons pas eu de chambre familiale mais seulement 2 chambres cote à cote non communiquantes. De plus, l"'offre internet précisait Petits Dej inclus, il a fallu négocier sur place car rien n'était précisé dans la réservation […] ! Salle de restauration très petite, petit déjeuner copieux car à volonté (pain et croissanterie, céréales). Effectivement il faudrait supprimer la moquette dans tous les hotels car ce n'est pas hygiénique. Hotel rénové recemment. Les mer

Vaatimatonta hotellimajoitusta loistavalla paikalla. Lyhyt matka rautatieasemalle ja vilkas kävelykatu ravintoloineen heti ulko-ovesta astuttua. Parkkihalli alakerrassa vaikka reseptionin henkilökunta ei sitä tiennyt tai osannut selittää englanniksi.

Cet hotel est bien au prix que l'on a payé en promo mais le plein tarif est hors de prix pour ce type d'hotel. La literie est plus que vieille et il est tres mal insonorisé. Sinon bien pour trois jours . Pas plus.

Hôtel idéalement placé pour visiter la ville de Reims. Accueil sympathique et chambre peu bruyante malgré l'emplacement de l'hôtel dans une rue en plein centre ville.Un seul regret l'absence de parking sinon excellent rapport qualité-prix.

Centrally located 2 star hotell. Unfortunately we couldn't stay there as we got 2 double rooms instead of the booked family room. We then got à triple room, but that wasn't cleaned... À plus to the helpful receptionist though.

Très déçu de l'hôtel. Nous sommes arrivé à 15h, heure à laquelle notre chambre devait être dispo, or rien n'était fait! La petite jeune à l’accueil nous donne la clé, nous laisse monter dans notre chambre et là, surprise! Crade!! La chambre venait surement d être quitté du matin, serviettes par terre, cheveux et autres choses plus dégoutantes par terre... […] Odeur de moisi dans la chambre... Une vraie vision de catastrophe! Mes mots sont durs mais aussi réels que ma stupéfaction et au vu du prix nous sommes dégoutés!! Après avoir râlé, nous avons eu une autre chambre bcp plus petite que prévu, prête. Nous pouvions disposer de la première, celle prévue initialement, une heure après. Nous avons souhaité garder la plus petite, ayant déjà tout installé, mais après discussion avec la direction, à nos frais bien sûre! C'est inadmissible! La plus petite, simple, toujours une odeur de renfermé insupportable, propre en surface mais ne pas regarder dans les détails. C'est tout c'est fait, mais si c'était à refaire, jamais! Les mer

Il punto di forza dell'hotel e' la posizione nella zona pedonale, per quanto riguarda la camera mostra il segno degli anni pero' nel complesso per una o due notti ci si puo' adattare. Promosso con sufficenza

D'allure démodée, dans un quartier très bruyant la nuit, cet hôtel a fait ce qu'il fallait pour assurer un séjour parfait : permanence 24h/24h, double-vitrages, parfaite propreté, petit-déjeuner aux viennoiseries délicieuses , pour un prix très modeste . C'est une halte dans le centre de Reims agréable et commode .

Hôtel propre mais faisant un peu fin de règne. Les chambres sont confortables et assez grandes. Celles donnant sur la rue adjacente sont assez bruyantes du fait des bars en face donc s'abstenir si vous avez le sommeil léger. Si vous n'avez pas de réduction, le tarif est assez élevé.

Je ne conseille absolument pas cet hôtel. Nous l'avions choisi car nous voulions un logement près de la gare et du centre. C'est le seul avantage : l'emplacement. Pour ce qui est des chambres, elles sont très petites, le mobilier est plus qu'ancien, l'odeur de renfermé est très présente, le ménage n'est pas fait (araignée dans la salle de bain pendant […] tout notre séjour, draps non changés)... Mais, ce qui nous a le plus gêné, c'est le lit : totalement inconfortable. En plus, il ne s'agissait pas d'un lit double mais bien de deux lits d'une personne (déjà utilisés pendant longtemps puisque creusés) collés. Pour le petit déjeuner, 9€ pour des viennoiseries brûlées et du pain pas cuit ... nous n'avons même pas osé y toucher. Nous voulions un week end romantique, nous aurons eu un week end touristique. Vu l'état de notre chambre nous sommes restés dans les rues. Les mer

Läget är perfekt, men rumsstandarden är lägre än ett backpackerställe i Asien. Frukosten var ganska obefintlig och äts i en korridor vid hissen :) Skall du bara somna & åka igen så är det helt ok för pengarna dock - men betala inte för frukosten!

Près de la gare. Des gens accueillants. N'ont même pas Internet et ne réfère pas aux autres hôtels de la chaîne dans la même ville. Pas de climatisation. Au dessus de plusieurs bars. Très bruyant. Pour une nuit ou deux au maximum, pas de problème. Pour plus... rechercherais plus de confort et services.

Hôtel bien situé au cœur de Reims et d'un confort suffisant pour un prix raisonnable. Cependant le petit déjeuner est trop cher pour ce qui est proposé.
