"The hotel in Marquette Michigan"
Nice hotel in a great location. My wife and I enjoyed our stay. The bed was not very comfortable and my wife says they need bigger towels. Other than that its a very clean and cozy hotel.

"Pool"
The room was nice and clean. But when we went to the pool for my daughter to go swiming there were under age kids drinking and ackting like animals. made the whole night a wast of time just paid the extra money so she could go swiming and she was so up set.

This hotel is priced right for the amenities provided. The pool area is small but adequate; the breakfast was adequate, but didn't have a lot of healthier options. The room is small, and there isn't room for more than one person in the bathroom. But, as the sink is separate from that, it is fine. Very Clean, beds a little hard but much better than alternatives, flat screen TV was a plus, breakfast needed to be stocked better and more seating but good food and great variety; Waffles, french toast, fruit, toast/bagels, cereal, milk, juice, coffee, etc.
Hotel Room was fine except all the noise in the hallway from ice machine and people talking outside my room. I stayed here once before which was great. If I based on this experience I would not stay here again.

It was a busy weekend. I did not stay there, but have in the past. Other family members stayed and said it was great. Nothing else to say.
"UP Marquette"
The hotel was a wonderful, inexpensive get away for grandparents to endulge their grandchildren during the holidays and give the working parents a break with day care. Swimming in the pool, a great breakfast, closeness to movies, shopping and restruarnts; we enjoyed it all.
The pillows were horrible had to put 2 together to make it feel like a pillow. They should consider mimi fridges. the bathroom way to small.

If you are staying in the room by yourself I would definitely recommend this hotel. Unfortunately there were 3 of us and since the only sink in the room is as you enter the room (the bathroom has a toilet and tub/shower only) it makes it very difficult to brush your teeth, shave, put make-up on or anything requiring a sink, in private. "Functional accommodation"
A pleasant and clean room set back from the highway that makes for a decent place to stay. Though it doesn't initially seem it, access to the central core of the town is easy. The downsides? (1) Be prepared to carry your suitcase up some long steps as there is no elevator here; and (2) Breakfast is a standard fare of lots of breads, mostly a tad stale, […] and very "American" coffee, i.e., thin and watery. "Acceptable Accommodation Reasonable Price"
We've been staying in 2-star places with positive reviews to maintain a budget and this Super-8 generally fit the bill. The two negatives were (a) no elevator to the second floor so be ready to carry everything; and (b) rather stale continental breakfast. But the staff were very nice, the room was very nice (interesting how 2-star hotels all still have […] the old CRT-tube type TVs), and this ended up being very nice budget accommodation. Les mer

"The Marquette Super 8 is inexpensive..."
This is a no frills hotel. Rooms were fine. Bathrooms were o.k. Continental breakfast was fine. Lots of other mid-20s guest were partying a lot, but to be expected in Marquette in summer. Quiet time was 11:00 pm. Overall, I'd stay again because it was inexpensive.

"Marquette Super 8"
This hotel was great for our purpose. We were staying overnight, passing through from a canoe trip in Canada. The room was clean, the beds comfortable, however the continental breakfast was almost completely gone by the time we tried to go there at about 845am. Overall good hotel.

the place next store is Jeffery,s..a great place to eat.. movies across the street and a grocery store next to that. breakfast was good too.

Exactly what's expected for the money. Clean enough, staff was pleasant, breakfast was okay. Nothing to write home about, but completely acceptable.

Everything was fine, except the bed in the handicap room. If you weren't handicap when you went to bed, you certainly were when you got up. The worst bed I've slept on in my 66 years. Room 114 needs a NEW bed.

Good place to stay for a travellor passing through. Even though the hotel was filled, we found it quiet at night. A good value.

"OK, but nothing fancy"
We stayed in this hotel for one night in June 2010. This is a typical basic hotel. Good for a business trip, but probably not for leisure. It is located close to a highway, so it can be a bit noisy if your window faces the road.

The front desk person was not friendly at check in or breakfast the next morning. The room was not updated at all and my TV kept freezing and wouldn't turn off until I unplugged it. Would never stay here again.

We were looking for a no-frills hotel to spend the night before my daughter was to take a college entrance exam in Marquette. The Super 8 exceeded my expectations. The hotel was extremely clean and well-maintained. The pool and hot tub area was enjoyable and the continental breakfast had everything you need for a basic breakfast.

the staff were very friendly and welcoming,room very clean,close to xpway and easy to get to downtown,good directions provided by front desk manager who looked up a new golf course for us that hadn't made the phone book yet...very knowledgeable about the area

I called and asked if we could check in early and they had our room ready before noon, no frills but a very nice, clean, affordable stay.
