Hvis det var noe vi kunne sette fingeren på var frokosten, den var ikke for norskvennlig. Annars var hotellet ok.

I would appreciate that my comments are copied to the wonderfully friendly and efficient staff that made the stay memorable. Also, the area itself is worth a visit in its own right, with pleasant locality, good shopping and restaurants, and a charmong downtown street on Sanford. This will most certainly be our nest port of entry to the US, since also the airport was a positive experience, which cannot be said about most US airports.

Very nice hotel, easy to get to, nice location next to I4. Polite and nice staff - always smiling! Impeccable rooms - clean and comfortable. I stayed for 3 weeks, and I have nothing bad to report about my stay there.

"Great time at Bike feast"
Could have provided a better breakfast for the price, but there personal touch made it a delightful stay.
Hotel does not offer much, but we were there to visit Mt Dora for the music fest. Very close to restaurants, grocery and department stores.

I choose the hotel due to the location to a antique event we were attending. The staff had said the rooms had been renovated which you could tell they had been. The thing they did not do was to stock the room with nice new mattress,bedding and linens. That all really needs to upgraded. I did not request anything of the staff but to check me in and out. "Inn On The Green used to be a good hotel"
This hotel needs a major renovation of all rooms. My wife and I checked in the evening of Dec. 21st, 2011. After being shown our room, we found it unacceptable. The room was rundown, dirty and in disrepair, so we asked to see another room. The helpful night clerk showed us 3 other rooms (only marginally better) and we settled for the lesser of those […] evils. Upon inspection of the room we found that there was no iron, shampoo or soap. The bedspread was dirty and had 3 cigarette burns, even though we were in a non-smoking room. The towels were so thin as to be see-thru. After a call to the desk, we were quickly brought a iron and more threadbare towels. As it turned out the iron was non-working and had to be replaced in the morning. The shampoo provided was in little plastic packets. There was no conditioner. We made do with the accommodations. Breakfast was advertised as part of our package. It consisted of coffee, orange juice and powdered mini doughnuts. It would not be considered "Continental" by the barest of standards. By the second day, the "breakfast" had disappeared, with only the free coffee remaining. On the plus side, the room did have a ridiculous amount of electrical outlets, a cold fridge, good air conditioner and working Wi-Fi, We would not experience the worst Inn On The Green had to offer until my mother joined us, two nights later. We checked my aged mother into the room adjoining ours, so we could.be close if she needed assistance. After muscling my way through the sticking adjoining door, an inspection of her room (an efficiency) showed that it was dirty, and rundown as well. The louvered curtains were broken and had to be hand positioned in order to provide a modicum of privacy. Her front door had a non-working, frozen deadbolt. Her bedspread was in the same dirty and poor condition that we had found our spread to be. Mom was tired, so we didn't insist on moving her. In retrospect, I wish we had. "INN ON THE GREEN"
THIS IS SORT OF A BOUTIQUE MOTEL. THIS PLACE HAS A LOT OF HISTORY AND THIS SHOULD BE MENTIONED ON THEIR WEBSITE. CLARK GABLE WAS A REGULAR GUEST AS WAS GEROGE REEVES (SUPERMAN). VERY CORDIAL OWNER. THE BED WAS LITTLE HARD, AND THE AREA WAS PROBABLY NICE AT THE TIME. IT IS OFF A MAIN ROAD, SO IT IS A BUSY ROAD. OVERALL WOULD GO BACK.

we made reservations at this motel online, we requested a handicaped room. when we arrived at the motel we were assigned a standard room. when we spoke to the manager/owner he told us that they did not get this information from you. however after moving to two rooms we were then shown a real handicaped room. the room had spider webs all around the ceiling/walls, […] including live spiders. just a swip of a broom all around the walls/ceilings would have "fixed" the problem! "Except for the bed, it was great"
The bed was hard as a rock; I couldn't sleep very well. But except for that and the paint on the walls being chipped right next to the bed, the room was nice. It was a good size, and they used lots of mirrors to make it seem even more spacious. "Great stay"
We were there for an overnight during a 2-day training. It is an older building but very quaint. Our room was on the backside and faced a lake and was very peaceful and quiet. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.
"Very comfortable & convenient"
We stayed here a couple years ago and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We noticed the rooms have been renovated since then. This is a very comfortable, affordable place to stay - we highly recommend.

My only complaint, if you want to call it that, was that my grandsons found a plastic Easter egg under the bed. Given that Easter was several weeks ago, that would seem to say something about the cleaning staff (they don't look under the beds). I might not have even mentioned this except for the fact that my daughter left a pair of shoes in her room, […] and when wwe went back to get them, we found the room already neatly made up. And the shoes? Under the bed!!! Still, a nice place to stay, and I would again. I really only mention this because I found it to be rather funny. Les mer

Inn on the Green provides that "At Home Atmosphere" while one is on the road. The staff are extremely courteous and work hard to provide all the comforts of home. This type of personal caring service is unheard of at these rates.

Decent place. Staff was tenative to your needs. My only complaint was the housekeeping staff left behind whatever trash we didn't put in cans such as coffee cups, plastic eating utensils, soda cans etc

This was our 3rd stay at Inn on the Green and we enjoyed it as usual. The upgrades to the rooms are very nice. One room did not have a blow dryer, but after a call to the front desk, one was quickly brought to the room. The rooms are spacious, fully equipped with mini-fridge and microwave and big closet. Newly renovated motel...granite bathroom, new shower, clean room, new carpet, cable TV. All this in a HUGE room and at an incredibly low price. Stay here!
"Disappointed"
We traveled to Mt. Dora area for an antique show. Everything was booked that weekend. The Inn on the Green was available but I would never stay there again. It was so old and outdated with poor lighting in the rooms and not very clean. The air conditioner was so noisy it kept us up all night. They need to do some serious renovations to this hotel.. "Older but best in the area."
Inn On The Green is an older motel, but is probably still the best in the area for the price. Our spacious room had a newly renovated bathroom with plenty of hot water available. A functioning mini fridge, microwave and free Wi-Fi were also included with the room. The high speed Wi-Fi did drop out occasionally, but a phone call to the front desk soon […] remedied that deficiency. There are restaurants and shopping within walking distance and even more within a mile's drive. The motel is located adjacent a large pond, which makes for a striking view of the sunrise. Make no mistake, Inn On The Green is not a 4 star hotel, but it is clean, quiet, and very reasonably priced. I would stay again without hesitation. Les mer
"Well worth the stay"
This hotel exceeded my expectations. The room was huge, clean, and very comfortable. The personnel was friendly and accommodating, and the grounds were well kept. It was to cold to take advantage of the pool, but it looked inviting. I plan to return here again next year.

the place was dirty.
I was there for training and had a lot of studying to do. This hotel has thick walls. I never heard my neighbors or anyone outside so quiet time for studying was great. I wish the bathroom vent fan was not so loud. But this was a great place to stay for 2 weeks.

This hotel was clean, fresh and beautifully remodled from top to bottom. The view was spectular of the lake and wildlife. Staff couldn' have been better. The price was one of the most afffordable I have stayed in lately and yet one of the nicest. I would go back in a minute if I had the time.
"Holiday vacation at Inn on the Green"
This year for thanksgiving we went to Tavares Fl to celebrate with family. We stayed at a Privately owned hotel that was recommended by my family. It was beautifully renovated resently (granite bathrooms),and our stay was great. The staff was courteous and so friendly. The room was clean and fresh with a beautiful view of the lake and driving range […] (which we took advantage of). The best part of the deal was that this hotel was having great discount rates. You wouldn't believe what we paid! In the lobby the staff was celebrating their holiday and invited us to join the festivities at the pool side. When I return to Tavares this is the only hotel that will be on my list. Les mer

"Very Clean & Spacious Room"
As my sister from north was visiting in town,I was in a hurry to find a room & booked my room on Hotels.com. Inn on the looked differnt than any franchise hotels.I travel a lot & have always stayed in franchise hotels, but this time I decided to see how good this independent hotel will be for a change. Their lobby is very cute & different. Front desk […] staff was very polite & helpful. What can I say about their rooms!!! & cleanliness. Manager informed me that they have just renovated all rooms. Rooms are very spacious & bathrooms with granite finishing looks very beautiful. I used their swimming pool which is a very large pool & spent time reading my book by the lake before checking out. I wish I could have stayed more days but next time Inn On The Green will be my place to stay. I paid less & enjoyed more. I will be back & have told my friends about this peaceful & relaxing place.
