Vi tilbrakte julen der. Restaurantbetjeningen var meget positive, og det var de stort sett også i resepsjonen - men noen var uengasjert. Hotellet var rent og i god stand, men ganske upersonlig. Fin for golfere, men ikke det samme for de som søker vinopplevelser. Det l et stykke unna både vingårder og eksterne restauranter. Vær oppmerksom på hvor du parkerer i garasjen - bombardering med fugleskitt noen steder

"Alto Hotel - Melbourne"
Second time we have stayed at this hotel. Very convenient after taking the Skybus from the airport in to the bus terminal at Spencer Street railway station. One has only to cross Spencer Street and the hotel is only a five minute walk away. This saves you ringing up and then waiting to be collected by the Skybus company on departure. Conveniently located to public transportation but did also offer secured parking nearby. Loved the convenience of a full kitchenette and was pleasantly surprised when we returned to our room to find that our breakfast dishes were washed and put away.

Nice hotel - the standard room is a little small but is totally fine for a night or two. Great location for Southern Cross station and an easy walk or tram ride into the CBD. Pleasant stay at this boutique hotel. The room we got was tiny, but its probably our fault having arrived at midnight during the AO tennis week. It was prob the worst room in the hotel. If travelling by train using Southern Cross station, this hotel is in a super convenient spot. Small and basic, but excellent with it. Service was great and having your own kitchenette was definately an advantage to a normal hotel room. Plenty of cafés and restaurants conveniently around the corner. Highly recommend the Alto. The staff are wonderful, the breakfast is extensive (you get to order whatever you want off of a breakfast menu), the location is superb (two blocks from the main railway station) and the rooms are very comfortable. Great place!!!
"Loved the massage chairs!"
This place was perfect, especially for a single woman on business. That said, I will be recommending it to anyone travelling. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. It has a small area where you can read newspapers and make yourself some espresso. Rooms were a good size and they are environmentally conscious. Just a lovely little boutique hotel.

This hotel is all about function over form. Rooms are small, and because it's an old office building that was converted, there are not a lot of windows or natural light. The hotel's dedication to environmentally sustainable operations means the bathrooms are poorly lit. The linens are poor-quality. They have 1 or 2 bedroom apts or a normal studio room with small kitchenette. Generally quite convenient, just a stone's throw away from Southern Cross train station and not in the noisy neighbourhood. Staff at reception are very professional and helpful. No parking on-site; limited parking lots off-site abt 3 mins walk away. Excellent hotel although the room we stayed in was quite small.It was well locate, as it was only about 300 meters from the main bus and train station.We caught a shuttle bus from the airport,they leave about every 15 mins which takes you to said bus station.Breakfast at the hotel was well worth paying for it was very good.Had free wi fi while we were […] there which you could use in your room,also 2 computers for free use downstairs.Washing machines for personal use on the floor we were on, don't know if you had to pay. We enjoyed our stay at the Alto, rooms are very well appointed, very clean, quiet and comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff. Convenient location so close to the Southern Cross Railway Station. Couldn't fault this hotel. Lots of little touches that add to the comfort of your stay. Friendly, helpful staff. Complimentary coffee machine in dining room -they even provide takeaway cups with lids. "Alto on Bourke -setting the bar for excellence"
Great location, right next to Etihad stadium and tram stops right out the door. Very clean and comfortable room with nice little touches that make you feel right at home. Free wi-fi for guests. Carbon neutral so they are very conscious of being as green as they can be. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Would stay there again without a doubt.

Das Hotel Alto on Bourke ist ein kleines, sehr gut ausgestattetes und gut geführtes Hotel. Es liegt mitten im Zentrum und nur wenige Meter von Bahnhof, Flughafenbusterminal und öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln entfernt und ist trotzdem sehr ruhig. Die Apartments sind vollständig (mit kleiner Küche einschließlich Herd und Spülmaschine eingerichtet). W-Lan […] ist kostenlos. Das Restaurant ist gut, leider am Wochenende geschlossen (außer für Frühstück). Das gesamte Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. I stayed at Alto Hotel on Bourke for three days in a two bedroom loft apartment with my family. The room was small but well equipped and tidy. Elderly people should not book this room as the stairs are too steep. Also, the mattresses are a bit soft. The location of the hotel is perfect, but don't expect any good views.
