Room was clean, for the age of the Hotel. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was just cold food, nothing great, but did fill your gut. Was an good stay for the price.

This hotel was just the basics. No frills, no customer service, no friendly service from front desk. Just a room with a bed. The shower/bathroom was REALLY poor maIntained.

The location was perfect for our overnight stay on our trip to Florida. Evening check in service was excellent. However, morning front desk gentleman lacked personality and was not too helpful.

"I would stay again"
This is a very affordable hotel and have stayed here twice now, both for 3 days at a time. We found the service to be great. I would recommend.
"Old, outdated and dirty"
The hotel staff was not very personable. The carpet in the rooms was dirty and outdated. There was no bathtub in the room, only a shower and no soap was provided. There are many different eating establishments nearby which is nice. We stayed one night and then changed to a different hotel. I would not recommend this hotel.

The restroom was very small felt very cramped up evrrytime I took a shower the heater didn't work ..
"2 Day Stay"
The first room the window and frame had fallen out. The fixtures were worn and in need of repair. But the room was clearn.
The whole place was filthy and smelled of cigarette smoke. The breakfast left something to be desired. The bathroom had no tub. I had to wash my little kids in a shower. Will never stay here again, I don't care how cheap it is!

"Homeless guy sleeping in lobby"
I was not impressed when I came out to eat breakfast and some homeless guy was asleep in the lobby. The breakfast was not impressive either. It scared my kids that were with me.

"not to bad for price"
price was good,location as expected. only concern room smelt like cigerette smoke. but then again i did book a smoking room so what can you expect. but other than that room was clean and price was great.walking distance to a number of resturants including fastfood,steak and breakfast resturants.would stay again with no hesatation

We needed a cheap hotel with easy access to downtown. It wasn't anything special and had the bare essentials; TV, bed, bathroom, and dresser. It's location makes it very easy to get downtown and there are plenty of gas stations and restaurants in the area. Their morning breakfast is a joke. The staff was nice but they have a lot of forms to fill out […] if you get the room from an online Web site and if you have an animal. By the way, your dog will cost an extra $10 and you can't leave it in the room. If it barks and someone complains, the staff will call animal control but at least they'll call you before hand. I reserved not realizing it was the same place I unhappily stayed 2 years before. Cigarette smoke saturated the lobby and down the hall. Linens smelled smoky. Shower curtain falling off the wall, debris under a chair, (unvacuumed), light fixture unable to turn off, tub fixtures so cheap they flex in tile wall. On the upside, It was cheap.

Short drive from UT campus and extremely easy to navigate downtown. Beds were comfortable and had a really nice stay there. Would definitely stay again next time I go. Friendly staff worker made the stay a little more memorable. :D

Pros: Hotel is conveniently located. Decent pricing; Desk personnel-pleasant (We had no real interface except to check in/check out), report phone wasn't working and door safety latch broken. We were reassured the cameras were working. Cons: Rooms need to be renovated, CLEANED: mattress had blood stains on it, linens were dingy, showerhead was dirty; […] water was only lukewarm for showers; Chairs need cleaning; Phone in room did not work; Safety latch on door is broken. "Nothing Special"
This Super 8 has a great location on a main road w/ restuarants nearby. However, it could use a facelift. For the price, it was good. On the other side of the interstate is a Days Inn that is cleaner and has a better breakfast. I'll probably go there next time.

The hotel was stay-able but the front desk service was terrible, and I wouldn't check the sheets before you lay down because you'll probably find stains.

The hotel served its purpose, a place to lay my head down but other than that it was not somewhere I would stay again. There was no hot water for our bathes the next morning. There was no blowdryer, alarm clock, and some of the lights didn't work or no bulb. At checkout we had a knock on the door telling us it was checkout time. There were eateries […] close by. "Cheap and good location but not ideal for vacation"
The location of the hotel was pretty good in comparison to campus and you cannot beat the rate. The room came with a small refridgerator and cable tv. However, the beds were extremely uncomfortable and the shower floor was very dirty. I would stay here again as a last resort but I would look at other options first.

The location was perfect for us, but the clerk was quite direct and impolite, and the room was tiny for a hotel room. The 2 queen beds were not queen size at all, they are full size which makes a big difference to us. We will probably stay here again if we need to stay in Knoxville, but only after looking at other options first.

Because of the low rates, I wasn't expecting anything over the top. However, I was expecting it to be clean and to have good service. The bathtub was dirty, it had hair in it. There were fingernail clippings all over the floor. Not just one, but several. We were given a half used roll of toilet paper. It was clear that the bathroom and floors weren't […] cleaned. Makes me wonder about the beds. We asked the counter person for an extra blanket. We were told if he could find one he would bring it to our room. We never heard from him. "Easy off the I-75 but worn out rooms"
Stayed in a non-smoking room. Room had not been occupied/inspected for some time. Black mold/mildew growing at waterline in toilet and around base. Mildew in the shower. Rusting ceiling tiles [no Fan in the bathroom]. Staff very courteous but owner/operator not maintaining property.

"knoxville Super 8"
Low cost room but shower floor was so nasty looking, we chose not the use it. Soap was the onlly aminity offered, no shampoo or other goodies. Frig not set coled enough to cool anything without placing items in the ice section of the unit. There was no elevator and you had to go downstairs to find the ice machine.

This hotel was disgusting. We found a live cockroach in the room. There was blood stains on the side of the matresses. The dead bolt was broken off. It was something like off a horror movie. Will never be back.
This hotel needs to be conpletely remodeled! but first I reserved a nonsmikin room amd all thry had was smoking. I changed rooms to realuze that this room smelled worse than the first room.the only nice thing about thid hotel was the woman who works there!

Bathroom shower tile was very dirty, stained looking. Beds mattress very soft. Towels so ruff, felt like I was taking my skin off. Fire alarm went off @7 am. Again and again over 5-10 minutes.No fire.

Very smokey inside, but our non-smoking room gave some refuge from the overall smell. If you need a cheap room, not too bad. Thin, hard mattress, but fairly clean. Tiny bathroom! You truly get what you pay for!

"Super 8 - You get what you paid for"
They put me in a "Smoking Room" instead of "Non Smoking Room". I showed the lady at the front my reservation sheet but she said,"The computer won't allow me to change it. Sorry. You have to contact Hotels.com". It took her about an hour to change the room to a Non Smoking room. Room walls are very poorly constructed, you can hear people talking in the […] room next to you. I could not sleep well during my 5 nights stay. Hotel front was not kind enough to solve the problem. I called the hotel front several times after midnight because of the noisy TV sound coming from the next door, a guy said, "OK, I will take care of it." Then, he never took an action. Les mer
