Great Service from hotel staff they were very accommodating. The room was very clean and the bed was sooo comfy! Great location 1 block from olympic park, Georgia aquarium and coca cola world within walking distance. The hotel is right next to a subway station and goes straight to the airport. Would definitely stay here again

My experience at the Glen was decent. The three drawbacks are the tiny rooms, the insane price of $28 per day to leave your car parked at the hotel, and the amount of bums/hoodlums in the area of the hotel. The room was very small and my view was of a parking deck. However, the location is great. Close to all downtown attractions. Also the hotel has a cool roof top bar that looks over city.

Overall we enjoyed the comfort of our stay; do not get a queen room - it is extremely small so we had to upgrade and the hotel did this free of charge. Service was literally exceptional; they went all of their way to tend to our needs. Overall I will gladly recommend The Glenn

very nice hotel and staff! nicely located downtown - even walking distance to Atlantic Station, if weather cooperates. Single queen-sized bed rooms are small, by American standards, hence the European-style headline. Not taking away from the room - just head's up. Complete shower is viewable from room, which was initialy a shock, especially when i called […] to specifically ask if pics I'd seen was reflective of all rooms (was told those were only in suites...). Only other note-worthy item is that A/C does not kick on until movement is sensed in the room, so gets a bit warmer during the night. Would definitely consider staying on a return visit to ATL! The Hotel was amazing. I was very impressed with the decor and service of the hotel. The bed was amazing and I didn't want to get out of it. The room was very neat and super comfortable. Some of the best water pressure I have seen in the ATL. Hotel staff where very accommodating and polite. Over all a GREAT stay.l

The staff was extremely pleasant and professional, from reception to housekeeping to restaurant wait staff. Hotel was nicely done, and the boutique-size felt very comfortable, unlike huge chains. I felt the rate we paid was reasonable for Atlanta. The proximity to CNN, Phillips Arena, Georgia World Congress and Centennial Olympic Park could not have […] been better--made getting around so easy. The ONLY negative comment is that for late-night arrivals, especially in the rain, there was no clear signage indicating where to park--there was a sign indicating parking for Glenn's Kitchen and The SkyLounge, but unless you already knew those were part of the hotel, you would not assume that was where hotel guests also parked. When we called the hotel to assist us, we got recorded messages, so could not get any help with where to park. We wound up circling around several times before we finally figured it out. The thermostat in the rooms is pre-sset so you cannot change it if you want it cooler than 71 degrees F. Unfortunately, I find that in other hotels nowadays--something I really don't like. However, EVERYTHING ELSE was super about the Glenn Hotel and our visit! I would definitely stay there again, and I recommend it to others! Les mer

The halls needed some attention; lots of dusty fake grass (interesting idea... But I think if the halls were un-carpeted and tiled instead; the substitute molding look would make more sense). also the room appeared as though it had had a real quick once-over by the maid. The staff was welcoming and accommodating. I was disappointed we didn't receive our refreshing libation or warm towel when we arrived. The mattresses in the room could stand to be updated. Overall the stay was pleasant and I will consider staying there again when I go back to Atlanta.

Hotel was clean and updated, staff was very friendly, the only drawback is the size of the rooms. The rooms are much smaller than typical hotels rooms of comparable price. Great place for a one night stay though.

Had never heard of this so I skipped it several times. Hesitated booking it. I would reccomend this again and again. The staff was acceptional. Rooms perfect for the price clean and beautiful views. Right in the middle of everywhere we needed to be. A beverage greeted us on arrival. Another must is moonshine at mama Georgia's juke joint. Stumble home […] but enjoy the great food and music. we recently stayed at the glenn for our babymoon, and were treated very well! they upgraded us no charge to a king room city view, and even threw in complimentary breakfast! the room was amazing. the bed was soft and comfy, the room was spacious and the view of downtown was awesome. our desk attendants were terrance and charlynn. they were super friendly […] and helpful! we have stayed one previous time based on proximity to the philips arena, and you are walking distance to most major downtown attractions! the breakfast the next morning was fabulous, and they serve big portions for the price. definitely recommended for couples looking for a romantic getaway! We will NEVER stay in this hotel again...Many Problems: 1. We came exhausted and hungry to the hotel restaurant, and due to dietary restrictions askedd to speak to the chef, and were told he's too busy when there were only two other tables. We explained our requirements to the maitre de and the waiter and after waiting for our salads for 45 minutes, […] they brought us the wrong salad. We had to ask for bread 5 times...not a 4 or 5 star experience. 2. The rooms are EXTREMELY small, and we knew that from the review, but both our rooms faced the parking garage. 3. the bed is tiny, but the room cant hold anything bigger than a queen, the mattress caves in, and the pillows are huge and stiff. 4. If you do stay here and order room service make sure to ask for salt on the side cuz it doesnt come with the breakfast and the omelets are tasteless. For the money you can get a waaaayyy better hotel....there is nothing boutiqy about this hotel other than its tiny rooms, and rude restaurant staff where judging by the quality of the food, they probably didnt let us see the chef cuz there wasnt one :-( Les mer

My daughter and I stayed at the Glenn hotel because we were attending a concert at the Philips Arena. We had a perfect stay! We loved it and we'll be staying here again.

The room was small but not uncomfortable. However, when we went to get drinks at the bar after a long day at the trade show, the employees were all hanging out at the bar. Some in uniform and others not. Made us feel out of place and not welcome. The water in the room was never replaced after the first night. The room smelled funny, like maybe not cleaned […] after the last guests. The hotel was booked on hotels.com, we were then charged the same from the hotel itself, basically double charging us. We were in town for a football bowl game-an overnight stay-arrived and were greeted by the most efficient & helpful staff we have EVER dealt with-loved the complimentary "house libation" we were given at check-in & the complimentary vouchers for another at the bar! Location was SO convenient to every uptown event we were involved with. Every appreciated […] aspect of our stay was excellent. I can't give high enough ratings for the security of this property! This was the 3rd time we have stayed at The Glenn. I could not be more complimentary toward the staff, who were all kind and exceptionally professional - from the check-in, to parking attendants, to waiters, and bar tenders. All were exceptional. The hotel itself is funky, fun, and comfortable, with an outstanding location for events at Phillips Arena […] or the GA dome. The one problem we encountered was a horrible TV. The "HDTV" was smaller than an iPad screen and the remote control was beyond frustratingly unresponsive. Need to upgrade on that front folks! Otherwise, I will return to The Glenn, with pleasure - as I am not there to watch TV, but paid for it! Les mer

I had booked a queen bed room - the only one available online - and when we arrived, the desk clerk offered us a room with 2 double beds instead, which was much better for my daughter and me. We stayed downtown because we had an early appointment downtown, so safety was a major issue for me. The valet parking in the parking garage allowed us not to […] have to walk through a dark parking lot. The front door to the hotel was steps away from the valet parking. The room was beautiful! Great hotel; quaint rooms. Wish we were staying another night so we could have experienced the rooftop bar. It is closed on Sundays.

The Glenn is a very lovely, Hotel. Rooms are large, the beds are unbeleavaly comfortable. The staff is very attentive to your needs. Is easy walk to all the major locations in downtown: Phillips arena, georgia dome, CNN Center, Olympic centennial park, Coca cola center, atlanta underground, and many many more.

Rooms are very comfortable. The bed was superb and the Herman Miller desk chair was outstanding. Wifi was simple to access. The shower was not fully enclosed in my single queen room. There is a pane of glass between the shower and the rest of the room. Might just be a peculiarity of this room, but ask at booking if the lack of modesty matters. I'll […] stay at the Glenn again. Not a pleasant stay. Two bands/DJs played very loud until 1:00 am each night of our stay. The room would shake with the volume of voices & music.

Stayed here a few years ago & was really impressed. Rooms and decor are really current, clean & staff was great. Unfortunately this trip around was not so hot. Strike 1: Urine on toilet seat. OK, nasty but maybe someone just missed the toilet cleaning, Strike 2: Went to make coffee and found pot was still half full from previous guest. Strike 3: Wife […] calls me to kill GIANT cockroach in bathroom. FYI - strike 4 is really not hotels fault but car window was smashed overnight in parking lot across street from hotel.
