overall a good hotel. Having that said the staff has no service mind. Water in room and restaurant failed for 3 hours on 4 days. Toilets could not be flushed. Staff preferred to chat to each other rather then ensuring that water buckets are provided in restaurant toilets. A/C in our room was dripping down the wall and onto one of the beds. "tremendous service and resort"
Had fantastic time and great relationship with caring staff. Had issues with floods blocking road to airport but the staff were really helpful and generous letting us stay on at good deal and helping us rearrange travel plans. Resort food was awesome with plenty of variety with theme nights and cultural night with buffet and show. Plenty to do in local […] area unfortunately tours couldn't go in the bad weather we had. Zipline was great and only 10-15minutes away. Golf course very challenging. Make sure to have plenty of balls to start with though. Les mer

We had such a wonderful time. Two perfect days. We went snorkeling, kayaking and swimming. We had 2 massages and ate lovely meals looking at a view of the ocean and landscape. We also saw a coconut husking demo and tasted fresh coconut and its liquid. What a treat. We would love to return. Vivian

We were picked up by private transfer from Nadi Airport arranged by the Pearl Resort the staff were so kind and we even got upgraded thanks to the General Manager. The Resort I must say in in fantastic condition and the staff are so kind and friendly. We walked often to nearby diving and recreaction facilities that are all well maintained and managed. […] The food within the hotel was fantastic in the Al A Cart resturant and they have a great Internet deal for prepaided unlimited WIFI. If you want to enjoy FIJI away from the commercial hype then the Coral Coast is the place to go and the Pearl is my Recommendation. !!! BULA to all the Staff THANKS SO MUCH Les mer
"Get away from it all"
Fantastic location if you want to get away from the likes of Nadi or Suva. This is a place to kick back, drink, eat and completely relax. If you prefer the lure of shops and nightclubbing, this place is not for you. Although small, your every need is catered for. The staff are all wonderful, warm and welcoming. Both restaurants provide a good menus […] and the seafood is amazing. The village is quaint and provides other options for eating. The wine list is quite expensive, so stock up at the supermarket at the local village. The bistro will allow BYO, but they will charge corkage. (Still a lot cheaper). Fantastic hotel all around with a good beach location. It you use the Coral Coast connection air-com bus from Nadi Airport to the door of the hotel it not out of the way. Only $20 Fiji per person.

Not a hotel for children. We took our 10yr old son and apart from the pool there is not much to do. The hotel could do with updating but the outlook is beautiful. the staff were lovely and couldnt do enough. We stayed for 12 nights which was far too long. The menu didnt change and is very basic, we did find a hotel down the road where the food was cheaper […] and nicer. My advice would be to stay for a few days and move on. Also 3 hrs drive from Nadi airport on gravel roads!!!! Les mer

Good hotel, clean, nice interior, friendly staff. Only problem was with the food variety; almost the same narrow menu for the lunch and for the dinner (except the quite small buffet). Hotel location is about 2h from Nadi and 1h from Suva, so nearby is no other places to eat.

We had a great time at The Pearl, we booked transfers through our hotel for $180 FJD. We had an Ocean View room which was great, only downfall was that the pillows were hard as rocks. The staff were amazing! Will do anything to help you. The Lovo night was great. And they had happy hour between 5 and 6 everyday. The Spa was also great and food was good […] too. "Was NOT as great as previous reviews"
It took us 3hrs just to drive to the Pearl from Nadi airport (very tiring especially in heavy rain conditions). Pacific Harbour is a big name, but there really isn't much to do in this area. Windy, rainy and greyish sea water from the big waves. Maybe good for surfing but definitely not snorkeling clear waters. Hotel is simple, rooms are plain boring, […] pool is small, nothing glamorous. Beach featured in the hotel brochure is deserted gray dirty sand... not really a beach I'd lay on for a tan!? We didn't enjoy our stay with this hotel, they charge for everything even a local phone call will cost you a fortune. The terms I had with this hotel was very rigid, any changes would have cost me 50% of my entire stay... I would never stay for 5 nights... maybe just 2 nights is more then enough in this hotel. "Can't wait to go back!"
I found this resort by pure luck as most other "popular" resorts were booked out. (last minute booking). I was concerened that I may have made a mistake by booking here but low and behold it was a hidden paradise. The service and staff were just FANTASTIC. Every night/morning you received a 'Pearl Press' newsletter with details about activities for […] the next day including weather etc. 5pm happy hour till 6pm and the local village band plays relaxing music till 7pm. I can type for hours about our holiday and how fanstastic it was at The Pearl but I'm not going to waste your time. My wife and I will be recommending this place to everyone we know. Apart from the 2.5hr drive from the Nadi airport, there is nothing negative we can say about this resort. And that drive was quite relaxing also including the bumpy roads. Just go!! Great value for money. We stayed for 10 nights. It exceeded our expectations. Bula!! Les mer

We stayed here 2 nights to go rafting on the Navua River. We were pleasantly surprised by the enhancements/improvements they recently made. Beautiful lobby, great restaurant, and nice pool area with lush lawn and tiki torches at night. It's right on the beach, so it can get a bit windy in the evening. "Not comfortable but great beach"
The hotel is sleek and modern. The staff is wonderfully friendly. Sadly, the room stunk. It was the most uncomfortable bed and flattest pillows. Our view looked over a tin roof and maint area and the balcony was 1.5 ft wide (no chairs, no table). The shower doesn't have a door so I sprayed the entire bath with water. Location is good for Pacific Harbour […] but it wasn't our favorite part of Viti Levu. It rained alot and we had nothing to do. Hotel should offer more activities like other places do. The pool was nice. Check out the volcano grotto. Happy hour is a must. The beach is soft sand and it is good swimming. Wish the sun allowed us more than 1 day on the beach :( Their boat was broken so we couldn't go snorkeling without paying for a tour. This should have been comped since their boat was broke the whole stay. Overall, if you are going to stay in PH, stay at Pearl b/c the rest didn't look that great. Just splurge for an ocean view and bring lots to do. Les mer

Get a shutte organised from Nadi Airport,20$ perperson,great service...arrange with hotel before you arrive..Super Hotel, Restaurants are Excelent,prices are good for what you get,Breakfast is perfect,the golf course is Smashing,and not expensive,lots of activities to do which are free.,Rooms are ok..Fantastic Beach,pool is so so,some how the pool is […] cold,real cold..not actually enjoyable, refreshing but cold.They had problems with hot water supply but every hotel in fiji we went to had that.The staff are all friendly,the only complaint i would have is the check in process was long,we arrived at 4pm ,spent 40mins triing to check in then the room they allocated for us was under repair and not ready...we did not get a better room ,we took a lesser room just to get unpacked and in,To be fair the next day they asked us if we wanted to repack and go to the original room which was then ready....but we declined could not be bothered to repack and move....would recommend hotel to everybody.They do need to invest in more pool loungers,if you were poolside late chances are you are on the grass. "The Pear Resort - fantastic!"
Since stepping foot into this resort we were made to feel at home. The resort is clean, modern and the staff friendly and very accommodating. The resort has five bars and the food was delicious - the grounds are clean and having the beach on your doorstep was the icing on the cake. Would definitely return - great place :)
"Pearl South Pacific, Fiji"
Myself and my girlfriend booked a week in the Pearl where we stayed in one of the Penthouse Suites. We knew prior to reserving the room that the location was a good 2hr drive from Nadi Airport. So arriving late on the Monday evening to start the holiday was not a problem. However one glimpse of the clouds the following morning turned our trip slowly […] backwards. Rain, rain and more rain for the first three to four days and this wasn't even wet season. We were advised by certain members of the staff that this was the norm near Suva (South East of Fiji) and as it turned out the rain clouds remained all week, seeing very little sun so we decided to leave the resort earlier and head to Denerau Port for a night at the Radisson. A number of fellow residents did the same. The resort itself was picturesque and the staff ever so friendly but with rain came hardly any activities due to cancellations and there was no continengency plan it seemed from the hotel management to give us something to do as the resort is ever so isolated. Happy hour lasted one hour but should have been renamed happy half hour as there was not enough time to order drinks plus the cocktails seemed lacking strength in alcohol. I managed to have one drink in the beach bar all week as it was relocated to the inside bar due to the weather. The food was of very poor quality and there was a lack of choice, especially the lunchtime menu. One evening meal of beef curry left me counting the cost the next day with food poisioning and a day in bed. The breakfast buffet was ok but the hot food was disappointing and lacking variety, it felt that no real effort was put into the quality of the buffet. A nice resort but without doubt stay on th west side of Fiji as my experience alone for one night in the Radisson showed. Les mer

This is a very nice, smaller style of resort. It has all the luxuries like a fine dining restaurant, spa and swim up bar in the pool without the huge crowds that larger resorts bring. Both the accommodation and food /beverages were quite reasonably priced and the spa was definitely good value. We stayed in an ocean view room which had a lovely view […] straight out towards Beqa Island. The staff were all very helpful and prompt in their provision of service. The activities desk was very helpful and knowledgable about the tours in the area and also quite up to date with which days were booked out. It is a bit of a trek from the airport, approx 2.5 hours and I would recommend not arranging your transfer before you go as you will get a better deal at the airport. The location was well worth the drive for the phenomenal shark diving in Beqa Lagoon. Les mer

We loved to stay in "The Pearl"! Front Desk Service was just amazing, your luggage is brought to your room etc.! Both restaurants were really good, especially the service in the restaurants is unbelievable good and friendly! It is a 3 hours drive to Nadi- Airport and a 1- hour drive to Suva! You can walk from the hotel to Pacific Harbor, to the little […] and very nice "Arts Village". Beach is also very nice, but a bit smaller than expected! The pool area is a real nice one, gym is perfect and very clean! To summerize: a very nice, clean and friendly hotel with a great golf course (within a 5 min shuttle drive). NEGATIVE: There are really too less sunloungers at the pool! It could happen, like it happened to us, that you have to lie on the floor, also without a matrace, because they ran out of it! Les mer

The hotel is beautiful and also the pool. The beach has no sunchairs and is really narrow. You can walk to the Art Village with some shops, but this is the only thing in the neighbourhood where you can go to.
"Nice place to rest"
We went there after a 6 days sailing cruise. We wanted to rest before going back home, and it was perfect for that. People very kind and helpfull ( a standard in Fiji), Good night entertainment, Excellent cuisine. Good value for money. If you have a garden view room, avoid 1st floor, as they are dark and very humide.

Th place is very beautiful and relexing. The staffs are very nice and friendly. My door lock did not work and they never got it fixed. The food is expensive copare to the quality. The breakfast it good. The golf course is very beautiful and practically empty.

This hotel is fairly small but well maintained & probably the best pick in the area of Pacific Harbour which is great for the activities surrounding as it is a couple of hairs from the resort of Nadi - so well worth a few days stop over. The river Kayaking trip was excellent & the office is located in the grounds of the hotel. The hotel was maintained […] well. Our room was comfortable though on the bottom floor - so did not really have an ocean view. The walls were a little thin & for some reason the maid seemed reluctant to let us have fresh shampoo every day - which we had to ask for. The balcony seemed to be a bit of a mosquito trap. However - all these are just small points of reference & overall the hotel was pretty good & happy to recommend. The breakfast selection was a little small - however the restaurant upstairs was outstanding in the evening. The menu changed daily & the food was fresh, excellent & worth the little extra it cost above the other local restaurants. We tried eating outside the hotel 1 evening as we enjoy to try different places & rarely go back to the same if we have a choice - but we found ourselves eating in the hotel restaurant every evening afterwards. This resort is absolutely beautiful. The staff are very friendly and accomodating. Food was very well priced and tasty. Happy hour everyday was wonderful with great live music. I miss being there already! Ratu in activities was my favourite. I will be returning very soon. Thank you!

Just returned from fiji. Stayed in a few different hotels but found the Pearl to be the best for us. Staff amazingly friendly. Small hotel and quiet time of year so became known to staff. Beautiful location. Various daily activities organised, trips available from river quay in hotel grounds (diving, snorkelling on reef, fishing) and close to Navua […] river at which can go on inland river trips (waterfall and village or white water rafting in spectacular gorges). Not much else to do (ie shops and night life) in area but if wanting to get away then perfect. Food excellent. Amazing breakfast eat as much as you want which lasted us all day. Free kayaking to go on river and sea when calm. Beqa Island just off shore and could have one or two nights at a small family run establishment - Lawaki beach house with coral snorkelling off the beach at high tide. Les mer
"Best for families and couples"
The Pearl has fantastic rooms, great service, and the people are helpful and friendly. It has a great pool area and is located on a nice beach too - unusual for Viti Levu. It`s best for couples and families. The biggest room for improvement is probably the food, which is only ok. Still, a great place to stay on the island though.

Our check in was late in the evening but we were still welcomed very well. The foyer of the resort is stunning and the facilities are excellent especially the day beds in the bar. Very luxurious. The food at the evening restaruant was sublime with the chilli ginger mudcrab enormous and delicious. They have an excellent chef we could not fault the food. The […] swim up bar with underwater seats is decandent and wonderfull and I was made one of the best passionfruit mohitos cocktails I have ever tasted. The tour desk staff(i dont think she was emmployed by the hotel) was rather unhelpful when we had asked about a tour for Sunday when most things are closed. They have an onsite tour operator that does great trips to the Fiji hinterland and you can go white water rafting which was great fun(the same river where Anaconda 2 was filmed) Although this resort is only 4 star the facilities service and food would put it at 5 star anyday. "Just like paradise"
When I got there, The place was more amazing than through the pictures. The drive there was abit of a scare though since the roads weren't that great and the beaches along the way from Nadi airport didn't look so appealing. The resort was better than I had expected it to be when I got there because of the beautiful view of Beqa Island in conjuction […] with the warm weather experienced everyday. the weather was unexpected since we went during their rainy seasons and it still felt nice. The staff were really friendly as well, always happy to make our stay a lovely experience. And the Spa massage was absolutely wonderful! I came back for seconds. There were many activities to do everyday with the help from the activities bure and rosie's holiday tour desk. Happy hour was very appealing since the cocktails tasted awesome and looked colourfully great! I would definately go to this hotel resort again if I were to go back to Fiji. Les mer
The Pearl was just great. We were there in the low season so it really felt intimate. It's fanastic and the food, service, ambience, and staff are all very good There were only two complaints we had. One was the lack of a bedside light switch and the other was that it would have been nice to get some additional reading matter. I am sure lots of visitors […] leave books behind and because the Pearl is not near any town, a small lending library would have been appreciated. "Wonderful resort and friendly staff"
We stayed here a week in september, and the resort is truly beautiful!! Many bars, two restaurants, and such a very friendly staff. They do everything they can to make your stay as good as possible. The hotel lies AT the beach, so long walks can be undertaken there. You can even sit in the pool and have a cocktail in the afternoon! Really not much […] to complain about, except from that there is not much population and action around Fiji. I guess the place IS all about relaxation. And the resort arranges jet ski trips, boattrips and picnics etc, so there is enough to do there anyway, if you want to :) Have a nice and romantic holiday at the BEAUTIFUL Pearl Resort!! Les mer

we had booked an ocean view room but were given a garden view suite instead. We were then shown the only "ocean view room available and it was on the ground floor, behind large bushes with a glimpe of the ocean. So we kept with the garden view suite, which was a very nice room. There was a large wedding taking place on our arrival day and I suspect […] they all had the best (ocean view)rooms. we liked the hotel, the food was good and the staff very friendly. the setting is superb. They offer free acitivities such as bike rides around pacific harbor whisch were fun Rosies tour desk in the hotel only offers the most expensive tours, its worth trying the tour company at The Uprising resort at the other end of the beach for cheaper snorkelling options. Our penthouse garden suite was upgraded to penthouse ocean view.It was beautiful.The gym was very nice and clean.Staffs were wonderful.Very helpful.We use there spa and the price were good.I will stay here again.Bula!!!

Sehr angenehm. Parkähnlicher Garten mit Palmen. Sehr schöner Sandstrand, nicht flach, sodass man auch bei Ebbe nicht weit waten muss. Strand sehr sauber von Natur aus, mit geringen Wellen dank vorgelagertem Riff. Baden ist herrlich bei Luft und Wassertemperatur von 30 Grad. Besser könnte sein: Mehr Liegen im Garten und nicht nur am Pool. Es fehlen simple […] Haken zum Aufhängen der Badekleidung und Handtücher. Im Bad war nur Platz für ein Handtuch. Das Essen war ziemlich teuer, aber im 1km entfernten Ort Pacific Harbour konnte man preiswerter und besser essen. Taxi dorthin ca. 1 Euro oder 15 min laufen. Gegenüber des Resorteingangs konnte man Getränke, Bier, Lebensmittel kaufen und im Kühlschrank kühlen. Einen Supermarkt gabs im Ort , Taxi hat das Hotel oder das Restaurant herbeigerufen. Eine Anlage ohne diese Ausweichmöglichkeiten macht den Urlaub extrem teurer und langweiliger, da man nichts anderes sieht. Einmalig in der Welt ist das Tauchen mit den Bullsharks, riesige Haie, oft 15 auf einmal, schwimmen in einem Meter Abstand an Dir vorbei, ohne Käfig! Siehe bei Youtube unter "Beqa Shark". Venons de passer 15 jours magnifiques dans cet endroit, personnel adorable, hotel confortable, décoré avec gout, calme, paisible... tout est parfait. A 2 h de chez nous, nous y retournerons très certainement pour se reposer

Hôtel d'un niveau général moyen, situé dans une zône isolée, mais bonne cuisine et golf de haut niveau. Quelques améliorations sont à apporter à la communication de l'hôtel et au service du personnel.

Trés bon hôtel , le staff est trés gentil , la nourriture est excellente , nous avons passé un excellent réveillon du nouvel an . seul bémol le spa où les prestations ne sont pas à la hauteur.

l 'hotel est agréable, le site est sympa, l'ambiance est agréable. De nombreuses activités sont proposés par l hotel, le spa est exellent, à 5 mn de marche il y ale centre art avec ses petits restaurants et ses spectacles. Prendre gratuitement un canoé dans la mangrove pour voir touts les superbes villas construits au bord et les forets tropicales.
