Hesperia Tower Hotel ligger praktisk til nær flyplassen i L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, i nærheten av Fira Barcelona, Camp Nou og Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya. Ikke langt unna finner du også Placa d'Espanya.

Veldig stilig hotell, tøff arkitektonisk og pene rom. Små minus på rommet er en dusj som lekker slik at man må tørke en vannpytt etterpå, samt en lite kald minibar. Altså bare bagateller. Bra rengjøring. Grei service på hotellet, men intet mer enn hva vi ba om. Noen ganger er jo det helt ålreit. Frokosten er dyr og asketisk. Varmretter må man betale tillegg for. Men den er likevel å foretrekke fremfor de elendige restaurantene og frokostmenyene på la rambla (hold dere unna all mat på la rambla). Beliggenheten er upåklagelig. Kort oppsummert et hotell som absolutt er fire stjerner verdig. Stilige rom. Anbefales.

Jeg og min mann overnattet på Alexandra hotell i forbindelse med 4 dagers miniferie til Barcelona. Hotellet hadde ypperlig plassering i forhold til både serverdigheter, shopping og restauranter. Kan anbefale restaurant Cervecería Catalana som ligger 1 minutt fra hotellet (Mallorca 236), her har de nydelig tapas! Ellers var personalet strålende, både i resepsjonen og i baren. De kan mye om byen og snakker godt engelsk. Rommet er moderne inredet og vi fikk en liten balkong der vi kunne nyte morgen solen. Dusjen er herlig, med stor "overhead" dusjhode. Eneste minus må være at sengen var litt hard. Barcelona er en fantastisk by og et opphold på Hotel Alexandra kan absolutt anbefales som et godt utgangspunkt.

Kjempefin tur med 3 venninner. Sightseeingbuss, shopping, fortauskafeer, gode måltider og avslapning på hotellets tak og basseng. Fortauskafeene utenfor hotellet er også veldig ok med hyggelig betjening.

"Meget høy standard"
Rent og flott rom. Gratis shuttle buss til flyplassen (kun terminal 1). Gratis Wifi på rommet. Veldig bra service. Bare 2 min å gå til metroen.

Veldig fint hotell med flotte rom og fantastisk service og personale. Synd at den ene restauranten holdt på med oppussing ettersom den har en michelinstjerne og ligger i 27etg med en fantastisk utsikt. Hotellet ligger et stykke fra Barcelona sentrum men det går en metro rett utenfor (ved sykehuset). Hotellet ligger derimot bare få minutter med taxi […] fra flyplassen og hotellet har gratis shuttlebus både til flyplassen, stranden og sentrum med flere avganger for dagen. "For lang avstand"
Hotellet er ikke et bra alternativ dersom en ønsker å tilbringe tiden i byen og på stranden. Metroen ligger ganske nært, men tar ca 20 min til sentrumet i Barcelona. Servicen var på topp, men allikevel litt for "ekslusivt" for min smak. Vær obs på at spa, basseng, treningsrom, og tower cluben har egne kort og må bestilles samtidig med rommet dersom […] du vil ta nytte av disse fasilitetene. I august har spanjolene ferie, og flere steder er stengt. Den flotte resturanten helt på toppen av bygget var stengt under hele oppholdet mitt og ingen mulighet for å få omvisning i den flotte "glasskulen". Hotellet er et stilig, moderne hotell bygget i 2006, med alle fasilliteter, som det også tas rikelig betalt for. Ligger litt øde, men T-banen like ved løste det. Flott "kommunesenter" ikke langt unna (ut fra hovedinngangen, til venstre rundt hotellet, gjennom parken, og vips), med mat og drikke for de som ikke vil betale 386 EURO for supermeny inkl. A fantastic hotel, probably one of the best I've stayed in. Very helpful and polite staff, very clean and well decorated. A home from home :o) Would definitely recomment to any travellers to Barcelona. Not the most central hotel but only 10 minutes from El Prat airport and 5 - 10 minutes in a taxi to La Rambla area ( approx 15 euros if the taxi driver […] drives the correct way ) !! Les mer

I was there with my son 15, I thought the pool looked good but it it is also gym for workout members and you have to pay inside the hotel at a machine to be let in to the training area ! This was not what we expected :S The rooms are ok but it is 25 mins away from the centre, The last stop on the tube besides a large hospital. Thise can be alright if […] you like to chill out on the tube on the way home. The area is totally boring ! not one cafe´or anything to do so you have to take the tune or taxi. 12 euros to town. It is easy to take the tube though and they leave every 5 mins. Rooms are like Darth Vaders bedroom, no colour, Black tiles and stainless steel with added mirrors to confuse you. Would be ok for disecting a body. Service and standard is nice enough but no soul. Never saw a flower :( Les mer

Every thing was perfect and beautiful ,convenient accomodation except two things that were not nice first, all rooms in the hotel have no windows open second, the hotel does not offer coffee maker inside the rooms .
"Hesperia Tower Hotel Barcelona - close to airport"
Stayed over the New Years holiday and were pleased with the hotel overall. The location is close to the airport and they do offer a free shuttle van. Outside of the shuttle operation it is a fairly long metro ride to the city center or you have to pay for a taxi.

The hotel looks, and is, fantastic. A few quibbles though. It is quite out of the way, perhaps 20 mins on the metro to the centre of Barcelona. There is NOTHING around it, except for blocks of flats and a motorway. Not a single shop! There is a bus (the 64) which passes to and from El Pratt airport, (just 3 mins from door) on the motorway. The metro […] is 2 mins away. Despite requesting a non-smoking room several times, we were given a room which stank of tobacco. Horible if you are a non-smoker. Also, the airconditioning was a stuck on 23 and the wifi was non-existent. There were lots of conferences on, and this is a great place for such events. And it was quiet, which was great. The staff were polite, attent and spoke excellent English. Les mer

I arrived at 8 AM after a 7 day long cruise and expected the hotel staff to hold my luggage until check in time but they allowed me to check in right there and then. That was amazing. I was able to leave my stuff in a wonderful room and explore Barcelona. I picked the hotel because they offer free wifi and free shuttle to the airport, both were wonderful. […] The only draw back is the location, the subway is a short walk away but once you get into the train it takes 20-30min before you reach the center of the city. Les mer

If you need to be close to the airport, good place to stay They hv a free/convenient shuttle. Few places to eat around hotel, but within 10 minute walk, La Flama restaurant is pretty good It's a working class neighborhood. Tapas are very good there and reasonably priced. And the beer is nice and cold! Adjoining Metropolitan Sports Center requires addtnl […] charge. Good facility, but you only get one body towel/one hand towel. Mostly locals go to the gym. I stay in hotel for 3 days. Really I enjoy the service in the hotel and room facilities. The price was amazing compare by the hotel facilities. The reception services were more than great and friendly and give you all what you want. Also car parking were available by 24 euro per day. Nea from the airport by 10-15 min.

The hotell was really nice, me and my boyfriend liked it allot... The staff was not polite and serviceminded. Some of them need some proffesionale help with the service, and to learn that everything is about the costumer, and how to use a smile. Overall I give the hotell a 10 butt the staff a zero...

The hotel was excellent, comfortable, nice, and convenient to train station. The price that I paid was very worth it to stay. I would recommend to people who visit Barcelona and don't want to stay in downtown. This hotel is only 15 minutes away from Las Rambla(downtown). I am surprised! A five star hotel with worst quality of WIFI.I talked to several other gests no one could connect in reception or in the rooms.Wired connection was not possible. If you need WIFI internet,DON`T book here.No underestanding from the staff neither. They were more angry on troublesome gests.

This is one of the nicest and most modern hotels I have ever been in. It is gorgeously designed and very updated. They provide everything you can think of ever needing and more. I wish I could pick this up with me and take it back closer to home. Would definitely stay in again if I could.

While the hotel itself was great the cost of eating there was terrible. It cost my wife and I over 35.00 to split a club sandwich and 2 cokes. Another negative was with two of the ladies working at the reception counter. They really seemed to have a problem with the fact that we were Americans. An example is that I went down to ask a question and went […] up to one of the ladies. She wasnt doing anything and yet would not ask me that I wanted until another Lady said something in spanish which I assumed was to wait on me and then she asked could she help me. Another lady spoke veru rudely to my wife. Other than these ladies the rest of the staff was very friendly and helpful. We had the names od these two ladies written down but unfortunately we misplaced the piece of paper. One other thing I would like to mention, ever though it didnt pertain to us was that the hotel says it has an indoor pool, spa, exercise area but dont tell you up front that there is an additional charge per person per day to use this facility. Great hotel convenient to airport (free shuttle) and city (free shuttle or easy metro access to lines. Good view of city, water, mountains. Close to supermarkat for cheap meals and a local cafe for cafe au lait or expresso, one block away northeast past the phonemercat take right one block and then left. Ultra modern and almost too high tech for some people! Even the elevator was a bit of a challenge The airport shuttle was helpful and the Metro station was very near.

Okay, so you read the reviews to help make a decision. Did this hotel ever deliver. We were on a cruise itenerary and wanted airport access. Great location, very professional staff and the rooms are WOW factor. Great proximity to trains, and the neighborhood is quiet and quaint.
