Glimrende hotell for noen dager i Pisa. Imøtekommende hotellansatte, rolige omgivelser, kort vei til sentrum og attraksjoner og god frokost. Kan anbefales!

Hotellet ligger sentralt, ca 15. minutter gange til sentrum gjennom koselig strøk, og nært i gåavstand til det skjeve tårn. God bussforbindelse til sentrum, og togstasjon ca. 10 minutters gange unna, til Pisa eller Lucca. Veldig hyggelig betjening, fikk god hjelp og svar på alt vi spurte om, enten det var i resepsjonen, baren eller restauranten. Rikholdig […] frokost, og hyggelige kelnere, og man kan trygt spise en middag på hotellet også. Internett/pc i baren. Rommene var fine, kanskje litt små, men rent og ryddig. Dårlig aircondition, ville ikke bodd der midt på sommeren. Les mer

Bra hotell når du reiser med barn, Vi fikk to hotellrom som var slått i sammen med dør i mellom. Kjempebra.

Et hotell med meget hyggelig, flerspråklig betjening og god beliggenhet i rolig strøk med gangavstand til de aller fleste severdigheter. Ca et kvarters gange til det skjeve tårnet og til sentrum (gågate), halv time til jernbanestasjonen. Vi hadde rom mot gate og jernbane uten at det var forstyrrende på noen måte, veldig bra lydisolert. Smakfull frokost, […] og god mat i restauranten til en fornuftig pris. Skal vi til Pisa igjen, kommer vi til å prøve å få rom på dette hotellet som er noe av det beste - også prismessig - vi har benyttet på våre mange byturer rundt omkring i Europa. Et meget velholdt og hyggelig hotell. Gangavstand (15 min. ca.) til det skjeve tårn og gamlebyen. Shuttlebuss til flyplassen for 10 euro. 20 min. gange til jernbanen.

Grei gangavstand til alle severdigheter og til jernbanestasjonen. Åpen beliggenhet med utsikt til omkringliggende åser fra vårt rom i 3. etasje. Vi vil velge samme hotell ved et ev. nytt besøk i Pisa.

10 minutt å gå til tårnet og 20 - 30 minutt å gå til jernbana. Byferie er dette ideell buplass, men dersom det er badeferie er dette tungvint buplass. I tilfelle må ta tog i 20 minutt til Vidareggio som er kjempefin plass. Der er mest private badestrender, men gå langs strandpromenaden til over elva v/ brua så kjem du til offentleg badestrand som er […] gebyrfri! Les mer

Endelig et hotell med god frokost etter norsk standard! Deilig! Beliggende i grei gåavstand fra det skjeve tårnet. Pisa var en positiv overraskelse mht prisnivå - etter at vi kom fra Firenze og Siena. Deilig air-condition!

Grand Hotell Bonanno i Pisa er et rent og pent hotell som ligger noen kvartaler fra de store severdighetene i Pisa, men i grei gangavstand. Stille og fredelige omgivelser uten sjenerende støy. Meget godt fornøyd

I forbindelse med hjemreise fra Pisa flyplass bestilte vi dette hotellet. Bonanno hadde en meget hyggelig betjening og veldig god service. Ligger sentralt, dog i ett veldig rolig strøk. Standarden på rommet var helt topp, vi reiste med to barn på 4 og 6 år. Og vil gjerne anbefale dette både til å bo lengre tid i Pisa og veldg fint også for en natt før […] hjemreise/utreise. Flott beliggenhet til byen og severdigheter samt flott hotell

Dette hotellet fortjener virkelig en god omtale. Et prisvennlig hotell med meget hyggelig og servicevennlig betjening. Trivelig restaurant med en koselig hage.Beliggenheten i forhold til severdigheter og shoppinggater er god. Gangavstand til disse. Oppsummert anbefales Grand Bonanno på det beste.

Hotellet er ikke et firestjerners og ligger ikke sentralt til, men man kan få låne sykkel for 3 euro for hele dagen så man kommer seg raskere til sentrum.

Ideally placed if you are going to see the Piazza de Miracoli but also going for dinner in the city center. We stayed here for 2 nights (arriving late the first day). After seeing the tower and visiting the city center the second day we left Pisa for the rest of Tuscany. The best compliment we can give the hotel is that we decided to book 2 additional […] nights at the end of our stay before leaving for home from Pisa airport. The personell is very service minded (bar one "primadonna") and they have a nice breakfast buffet. The rooms are also ok and clean. The only thing worth mentioning in the negative category would be that some sounds seems to travel easily in the walls, which among other thing enables you to hear the trains going by on the railwayline situated a block away from the hotel. Vi ble møtt av trivelig betjening og rene pene rom. Ettersom vi var en familie på 4, barn 5,8 år, fikk vi rom ved siden av hverandre med dør i mellom. Lyse rom med enkel styring av aircondition. Gåavstand til Pisas severdigheter.

Every staff member I encountered was friendly and helpful. We utilized the 10 euro airport pickup, and the driver was right there when we arrived. There are very few restaurants in the neighborhood, but we were happy with the taste and value of dinner at the hotel restaurant. It was good to eat there so that we don't have to walk through the underpass […] late at night. We also had cocktails in the early evening and enjoyed the free unlimited snacks provided with the drinks. The neighborhood is very quiet with no shopping or entertainment nearby, but appears to be quite safe. It was a short walk to the Tower, even closer to the Pisa SM rail station if you use the shortcut that the front desk tells you about. Les mer

I was very satisfied with our whole stay and would gladly return and recommend it further. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. They spoke English and helped us with all our inquiries. It was clean and well kept and maintained. A 10min walk to town and the same to the leaning tower makes it nicely central.

Nice place, friendly staff, only a short walk to the Tower. Rooms were very clean and though not the largest we've stayed in they were large enough.

Very classy hotel, well kept, spacious room and upscale restaurant. although not the closest to Pisa, it is well within walking distance. It is a very safe walk which we did during the day ad at night. We higholy recommend this hotel.

the Grand Hotel in Pisa was clean and comfortable. It was a few blocks from the Tower and Duomo. we needed a cab to and from the train station to the hotel. the staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was buffet and excellent.

Travelled with my mother and my 2 year old. We were given adjoining rooms which made things easier for us. Rooms and bathrooms were clean, not very spacious in general, but ok for short stays. Good selection of choices for breakfast too. Would probably stay there again.

This hotel was excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel. The service was excellent and the restaurant provided an excellent breakfast and dinner. Mario, Simone and the rest of the staff went out of their way to help and assist.

The only problem I had was very poor internet service. This was a big problem on an international business trip. Matt

The interior of the hotel and the rooms are pleasant, clean and modern, exceeding our expectations, and the buffet breakfast was well above average. the staff were knowledgeable and helpful, although they could consider taking their cigarette breaks elsewhere than the main hotel entrance. The location of the hotel leaves a lot to be desired; the ten […] minute walk to the tourist centre is along a delapidated and very busy main road, including a railway underpass with a distinctly unpleasant aroma. The hotel was a five min bike ride from the leaning tower and they have bike rentals at the hotel. The neighborhood was quiet and seemed safe. Not to mention the staff was very helpful and outgoing. I would stay here again

Not quite as close to the airport as they say (only as close as the crow flies) however this has been by far the most comfortable stay we have had in Pisa over the years. The family room for 4 is actually two connecting rooms and not one suite and if the doors close they lock shut and the staff need to come and unlock them for you. The buffet breakfast […] was by far the best we have ever encountered in Italy, with a selection of meats, cheeses, fruits and yogurts and bacon and eggs and juices. The internet service worked well. The hotel is about a ten minute walk from the Tower and there are adequate food services within walking distance. The hotel also has an area that you can sit outside in the garden. The only drawback was that the hotel is a little bit further from the Pisa downtown core and that when we arrived late at night, tired and hungry from our flight, there was no room service food or snacks available and the airport shuttle was no longer running so we had to grab a taxi. The receptionist went out of his way to help me find accomodations in Cinque Terre and was also helpful in telling me about other sites/activities to see besides the leaning tower since we had been to Pisa before. Very pleasant experience.

Good and comfortable to stay but far from station. No free pick up service which should be provided by hotel. pisa tower and other places are far from hotel if travelling with older kids.

I traveled with two teenagers and they enjoyed this hotel very much we had free wi-fi in lobby. They have shuttle service to train/airport but they do charge a fee 10 euros almost the same as a taxi. Breakfast was very good. Easy 10 min walk to Leaning Tower. Felt very safe. We would stay in this hotel again.

I arrived in Pisa at 8pm by train from Florence with my three sons. We had an early flight home from Pisa airport the next morning. We waited at the railway station for 20 minutes for a taxi along with two other parties but there was no sign of any taxis so we decided to start walking as we had the impression from the online hotel description that both […] the hotel and the train station were in city centre. We figured it couldn't be far to the Grand Hotel Bonanno. Unfortunately the map provided with our hotel confirmation did not show both the hotel and the railway station and we ended up walking for an hour asking directions before we found it. A couple of people said it was far and we should be on a bus, not walking. This situation could have been avoided by a map that included the hotel, the railway station and the airport, plus a local taxi telephone number. Because of the delay getting to the hotel the restaurant was about to close for the night when we arrived so we rushed down to get something to eat. We were very impressed that this presented no problem to the staff...we had thought they would be eager to finish work and might be inclined to rush us. Not at all, we had a pleasant and relaxed meal. The hotel clearly caters for people with early flights from Pisa as they happily and efficiently booked an early morning taxi to get us to the airport and had a picnic breakfast ready for us to take with us when we checked out at 5am. Very Nice hotel though a bit of a wak if you don't take taxi to hotel. About 15 minute walk to nearest bus stop and 20 minute walk from hotel to Leaning Tower and field of miracles attractions. Good hotel experience

WE ARRIVED EARLY FOR OUR RESERVATION AND WERE HUNGRY. THE HOTEL STAFF WAS NICE TO OPEN THE BAR AND SERVE US. THE ROOM WAS NICE AND THE LOCATION AND ATMOSPHERE OF THE HOTEL WAS GOOD. WE SAW OUR SIGHTS CLOSE BY AND HAD TRANSPORTATION BACK TO THE TRAIN STATION NICE TRIP.

The only down side of our stay was the evening meal. I had to send my Main course back as the meat was not cooked. They were very good about it and did not charge.

The Hotel was convieniently located to important sights, within walking distance. Good parking facilities. Modern look and feel in an historic localtion - Pisa. Breakfast service good (did not make use of evening meal ) - room more than adequate with moderm feeling. Some staff more attentive than others. Would use again if in Pisa.

Lovely hotel, friendly staff, good breakfast, clean and good sized rooms. Walking distance to the leaning tower. We stayed for 2 nights to sight see around pisa. Ideal hotel for this. Not directly in the the centre of it all which suited us as it was quieter and relaxing. Highly recommended.

Generally, the Bonanno was a perfectly pleasant hotel to stay in near Pisa. The staff was friendly and helpful, and they all spoke English well. The internet connection in the room (wired) was barely functional, which was a bit frustrating, but several other hotels in Pisa had similar problems while we were there. It's a short walk from the edge of […] the city, but if you are heading for the university or something else on the other side of town it's a bit of a hike. The area is fairly quiet and calm, and the proximity of the railroad was not an issue. Les mer

This was our second time to stay at the Grand Hotel Bonanno. It is an ideal hotel for a short stay in Pisa. (Our reason for staying was a late flight arrival time and the need to to pick up a hire car from the airport the next day) The hotel is not in the centre of the downtown area but Pisa is not a large city so the site of Leaning Tower is no more […] than a 10 minutes walk away. Shopping and restaurants are also within walking distance. A key advantage of a non central location is that there is very little noise from traffic and in particular un-muffled motor scooters. Flight crews overnighting in Pisa also stay are the hotel and this is usually a good sign. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. Our room was small but was clean and airconditioned. The general areas within the hotel were also very well maintained and clean. A buffet style breakfast was provided with plenty of choice available for both adults and children. A taxi ride to and from the airport is also not expensive and varies from 12-15 euros depending on traffic. John Dublin Ireland Les mer

A modern hotel situated within walking distance of the Leaning Tower and a short taxi ride from the Central Station and Airport. Rooms were comfortable, well appointed and exceptionally clean. Spread over 3 floors the rooms were reasonably quiet, with occasional noise from nearby railway line & traffic using the underpass at front of hotel. The hotel […] restaurant provided a buffet style breakfast with a good choice of cold fare also scrambled egg, bacon, sausage & toast. Dinner was available in the restaurant (or as room service) from a fixed rather limited menu. Pricing of food & drink was about average for the region (but expensive compared to UK prices). Overall a good choice of Hotel for a short stay to see the sights of Pisa, with easy access to frequent & inexpensive rail link to Florence. Les mer
