We stayed at this hotel for 10 nights and are very happy with all aspects of our stay. The rooms are very comfortable, and in addition we were upgraded to a club room for free. The staff is very friendly and helpful, especially Jessie Li at the Concierge who was extremely professional, speaks excellent English and arranged trips, entertainment etc. […] and kept us updated on our questions even when we had not asked for it. The others were also very kind and always did their best to make our stay successful. The location is great for many reasons, the busy shopping street of Wangfujing is just 10 minutes away, but even better, there is a subway stop just around the corner, and the Beijing subway is easy to use, cheap and fast (we never used a taxi in 10 days!) Fikk influensa med feber etter 3 dager. Betjeningen sprang på apoteket og kom tilbake med medisiner. De kokte på ingefær-te til alle døgnets tider. De kom også innom rommet og ringte flere ganger om dagen for å høre at alt stod bra til. Utrolig personell og service !!

Vi bestilte rom for 3, men når vi kommer til hotellet sier de at de har ikke rom som passer. Derfor MÅTTE vi oppgradere til suite. De prøver å fiske penger ut av gjestene sine for ALT. Totalt sett var det et velykket opphold, veldig god frokost. De skryter av høyhastighet internett og et veldig bra treningsrom, det stemmer ikke..elendig internett og […] bitte lite treningsrom.. ellers var det meste tipp topp. Les mer

Flott moderne hotell for jobb og fritids reiser. Bra beliggenhet.Rent og romslig rom med veldig gode senger.Meget god frokost. Betalte noe ekstra for å få tilgang til egen lounge i toppetasjen med rommet, og fikk kvelds buffet med mat og drikke. Rolig plass for å avrunde kvelden.

Hotellet har veldig bra beliggenhet, gangavstand til bl.a. den Forbudte By. Mange restauranter i nærheten. Betjeningen på hotellet var veldig hjelpsomme og hyggelige. Det eneste jeg har utsette er at de ikke er spesielt god i engelsk, selv om de reklamerer med det og er et veldig internasjonalt hotell. Spesielt concierge bør være bedre i engelsk, ettersom […] det er de som skal hjelpe med alle typer spørsmål om utflukter o.l. Men med litt tid, velvilje og tålmodighet går det helt fint. Les mer

Stayed at hotel for 3 nights, very pleased with the quality, location and price of this hotel. Also stayed a night at the Peninsula half a block away, which had outrageous prices to pretty much similar comfort.

hotellet lige sentralt like ved byens hovedgate, men tilbaketrukket. Dette var mitt andre opphold på Park Plaza og antagelig ikke mitt siste.Jeg vil anbefale hotellet til andre,styr unna frokostbuffet, den er veldig dyr, men det finnes alternativer, både american breakfast og continental som er gode alternativer.

We stayed for 8 nights and are satisfied with our stay. They don't speak that good english in the reception, but enough to check-in without any problems. They have a really helpful english-speaking staff at the concierge (or whatever you call it) in the lobby, who help out with reservations for excursions, restaurants, taxi and everything else you need […] directions or help with. Be sure to use them during your stay, since it will make your stay easier and save time. If it wasn't for the concierge I would give the hotel a 3 instead of 5 for service. There is no wireless in the rooms, but there's a ethernet cable available if you got a laptop. Don't expect great speed, and be sure to use your local Google domain, e.g. google.co.uk, google.no etc. Google.com don't work. The area right around the hotel isn't that interesting if you're not into high fashion and Ferrari-stores, but a short 5-10 min walk takes you to the shopping street, 20 mins to the forbidden city, 3min to the subway. You got some small kiosks and grocery stores nearby if you want to fill up your minibar and get some snacks. Taxi is cheap, just be sure to have the adress written in chinese, or a map with chinese text on when giving directions. The concierge will help you with that. A hot tip is to visit the Dragonfly spa. Great massage to affordable prices. It's just to walk straight down the street towards Forbidden City, and you'll find it on the left side of the street after ca 15-20 mins. Very good hotel. However, Beijing is a very large city and it is far(you cannot walk in under 30mins) to the typical sightseeing destinations.

We had one club room and one standard room, both were SUPERB. Excellent reception service!!! The reception employee that welcomed us and explained all the information was VERY pleasant and most welcoming, helped with everything we needed, was very pleasing and caring. we started our asia adventure off in beijing. stayed in beijing for 2 nights, 3 days. This hotel was great! It was clean, sleek, great staff! We had breakfast included in our stay and we really enjoyed the buffet breakfast. It had a lot of international choices. Would definitely stay here again!

Hotel staff is friendly and all speak some English, far more than at most hotels. Staff were helpful, but there were several attempts to up-sell me. Club floor with Happy Hour additional $50 a night, limo to the airport instead of Taxi, $80 vs. $14. Taxi instead of subway...Other reviewers recommended the club upgrade, but if you don't drink, or only […] drink beer, it isn't worth it. The appetizers were excellent, but there is a lot of great inexpensive food and beer in the area. The "health club" is a small room that didn't even have a full set of weights, and only two machines. We were spending the weekend in Beijing. The location was great. The staff spoke very good English and was very helpful. We upgraded to include breakfast and happy hour. That was well worth it. Happy hour was a great time to have a drink and some appetizers and rest. Breakfast was great too.

I liked this hotel. I t is in a great location so you can walk to many different places like Forbidden city, Tiananmen square and others... The room was great, comfortable and quiet. We took an executive room so we could get free breakfast and it also included free "happy hour" with free wine/beer/liquors and hors-d'oeuvres (we ate there a few night […] as we were not hungry for a large dinner - free!). We found our room very clean comfortable and had every toiletry we needed. Hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful . It was very close to subway. Hotel staff were very helpful organising trips.. We had club room which included breakfast and Happy Hour. This was brilliant value. We would definitely stay here again.

The staff was wonderful, friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and bathrooms huge for a hotel. Loved the buffet breakfast and free happy hour was a great way to end the day. Close to major attractions. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Beijing.

Having stayed at 5 other hotels in China throughout our stay we found the concierge to be the best here. Found us a taxi at peak hour when others gave up after 10 minutes. Made sure drivers knew where we were going and were always welcoming and polite. The bar was exceptional also with amazing staff.

Overall, we are very happy and as all the staff, including the chef are very helpful and nice. The check-in was fast and simple and we were even serve with a drink. We were upgraded to the Club room and will given some free drinks at the club lounge and two hours of free drinks and snacks. I've stayed at over 10 hotels in Beijing over the past 4 years, and the Park Plaza Wangfujing was by far the best. It was important to me that the internet worked well, for Beijing this was a great connection. There was free wifi and ethernet in the room, and free wifi in the hotel. The room was very clean, the staff very friendly and helpful. For an […] extra fee I was able to check out at 16:00 instead of 11:00. There was no cigarette smell in my room (often in Beijing hotels, even in non-smoking rooms, you smell can smell cigarette smoke). I will definitely stay here again. Les mer

This hotel is hidden behind the Regent & hared to see/find. Very nice hotel in an area of other nice hotels. There is a subway station almost attached to the hotel so it is easy to get around. Forbidden City is about 20 min walk. Concierge can organize tours for you. Be advised that the tour may not end up showing you destination if traffic conditions […] force changes. The tour is more likely to make sure you are taken to the "factories" (Jade & or silk) for their kickback than to the actual sites you want to see. Les mer

Great hotel which is behind a subway station so it's perfect for exploring Beijing. Couldn't fault the hotel - it was clean, modern, and the Concierge were fantastic in helping us organise trips and taxis etc... Overall a great choice for a stay in Beijing

everything in the hotel was perfect. The only problem was the heating system which was shut down due to the regulation. Hotel provided us with a small electric heater and extra blankets. The staff in general were very helpful and tried to faciliate everything. I highly recommend this hotel

Our first "non-smoking" room reeked of smoke and often the hallways smelled strongly of smoke. The fitness centre and pool cost 80RMB per day per person. Very misleading since they advertise a great fitness centre; there is a tiny gym only at the Park Plaza. The real centre is at a hotel next door. The American breakfast was good. Watch out for scams! […] There are a million of them - tea house, fake silk and products, counterfeit money, etc. Overall disappointed and the reviews are overrated. It was a pretty average hotel. I've stayed all over Beijing and China. This is the second time I stayed at the Park Plaza. It's well maintained, comfortable, the staff are friendly and the rates are good. The location is perfect for any tourist activities and walking to local attractions is easy. Would return any time.

Staff very efficient and friendly, hotel was clean and room good. Location was fantastic. Subway just around the corner but top shopping area and Forbidden City is in walking distance. Number 1 rated restaurant in Beijing is only a block away. Highly reccommend.

We enjoyed our stay at the Park Plaza Beijing Wangfujing. Our stay was near the end of their New Year's break and things were rather quiet. The staff was always friendly and greeted us politely. Our room was clean, comfortable and well stocked with little extras like bottled water daily and toothbrushes. The location is near the subway system which […] we didn't use. It was easy walking distance to malls and shops. We felt quite safe walking at night to restaurants, but we liked the food and prices best at the hotel. Les mer

I stayed at this hotel for two times. It is very clean, excellent location, and relatively new, good size room (for a Beijing hotel), and friendly staff. Will come back! PS - great green curry chicken at the Boon Cafe at 2/F.

This is a very nice hotel, the room is very clean and modern. The location is very convenient to everything. Line 5 subway is right beside the hotel. The service is excellent. It's a very nice stay!

This is a nice Modern hotel centrally located and directly behind Beijings Metro line 5. Check in was easy and the reception staff where very attentive, however there was a very hard sell on room upgrades to the club floor which rate at about 25.00gbp per night, for this you got breakfast and a Happy hour in the club lounge, but at times that was packed […] and the snacks amounted to peanuts and the sort. The breakfast was okay, but in hindsight to be honest and seeing the room i had been booked into i regret paying for the upgrade. Also this is an Expedia VIP hotel, however the hotel was empty and no free upgrades or any other benefits where offered, so not too sure what the vip extras where. Overall this is a nice, modern, clean wel located hotel and generally good value for money. There is a starbucks directly opposite the hotel and a mall 5 minutes away with the usual range of food outlets, so you could avoid eating in the hotel all together, and this may be a cheaper option. Overall i would be happy to go back to this hotel. Les mer

The hotel was nice and the location was brilliant. It has the underground station right next to it and its a short walk to wangfujing street. The staff was very helpful in meeting your needs. I stayed there for 6 nights and had a lovely stay

Park plaza is a great hotel, clean, lovely rooms, very central location and close to the metro so easy to get around to sights, also free wifi in the room which is great. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel, we went to Starbucks which is right beside the hotel. There is also a nice Italian restaurant in […] the regent hotel beside the park plaza. We booked a tour to the great wall through the concierge which we were disappointed in because it was a full day but only 2 hours on the wall. The morning was wasted at the jade factory which is a tourist trap, I would advise to hire a private taxi and get at least 3 hours on the wall, there is really no need for a guide. I don't blame the hotel for this as all tours seem to include these factory visits. Les mer
