"Good customer service"
When we arrived the guy at the front desk advised us that only CAA members could get the price we were quoted over the phone. So if you are going to be booking with Super 8, I would call them directly. The guys at the front desk did help us out though. The rooms are very outdated, but the service was good. convenient and cheap for a drop off night on way to NH.Service was good and complimentary breakfast had good variety.noisy near the 1-95.
Price slightly higher when I arrived to check in. Still very good value.

Booked thru Hotels.com at a good rate, when I arrived they demanded to see my discount AAA card which I don't have and never indicated during the reservation that I did have so they tried to up the price! Woke the next morning with bites on my arms!

Quiet, clean hotel. Staff at front desk pleasant and professional. The only issue we had was with the TV screen - it would go red occasionally. If you turned the TV off and back on it was fine again. Would stay here again.

"good location and great price"
the price was great and it was convenient to the Basketball Tournament we were there for. Having only double beds is not so nice but a minor inconvenience. Very nice breakfast!

For the traveller en route to his destination this is a great place to stay, and I highly recommend it. It's no-frills and a bit dated, but the rooms are clean and the staff friendly and helpful. For someone who checks in at night after a day on the road (and sources dinner elsewhere) and leaves first thing the next day (after the complimentary continental […] breakfast from 6 am) it is well-nigh perfect. Though conveniently just off I-95, you will have to hunt for it in a swarm of motels and gas stations. Booked online and got a good rate but when checking in they charged us more because it was a holiday weekend. Didn,t seem fair . other than that its a good place to stay. been staying there for years

Our room was clean, comfortable & warm, but the bathroom looked like something out of the 1980's -matching baby blue sink, toilet & tub! The sink wasnt actually located in the bathroom - it was in the main room (kind of weird). The dining room area where we had breakfast was a bit outdated, too. But all in all, if you dont care about what the amenities […] look like, it was clean and comfortable. We stayed in a non-smoking room, but we could smell heavy smoke when walking down the hallway. "Super 8 Bangor"
This is a great little motel! My daughters and I stay here every year for Black Friday. Check in is easy, and the receptionists are always friendly and efficient. The room is clean and the overall location is close but not right on top of the stores.I would recommend this Motel to anyone who needs to stay in Bangort!

"I would stay here again"
This is a great hotel for it's price. The staff is friendly and the rooms were clean. The only complaint I would have is the noise of the highway which I only heard when I woke in the morning. I would recommend this hotel for a budget priced place to stay.

Friendly staff, clean comfortable room with nostalgic (blue) bathroom. Everything worked well and the windows open! Taking note of the breakfast crowd, I'd say it was a hit. I had coffee and it was VERY GOOD coffee!! I would return to this hotel-

The Super 8 is a great place to stay overnight, leave your car , shuttle to the airport and fly to your destination. On the return trip from your destination, fly to bangor, get a taxi (less that $10) to the Super 8, stay overnight to rest up and drive home. "Quiet, clean and worth the money"
The staff are very friendly and very accomodating. I called to confirm reservations and I made a mistake in the dates which they graciously changed for me. We arrived late and they quickly got us our key and let us head to bed. Nice people!

Recently stayed at Super 8 in Bangor for 2 nights. (while enjoying the shopping). We would certainly stay there again. The rooms were clean and quite (desptie everthing we heard about the noise before we booked it) we didn't hear a sound. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful (being as we are from Canada and our first trip to Bangor) they supplied […] us with info that we needed to know like directions, where to eat with kids, parks, etc. The cleaning lady was really nice to our kids and we appreciated that. The only thing that I would change would be that they try and keep all of the smokers on one level but to their credit most of the smokers rooms are on the end where they can open the windows in their rooms and let the smoke out.... We arrived on Friday, the 14th Oct/2011 at around 8pm. Our room was clean and well kept. I notice a lot of people comment on the blue bathroom fixtures...I could care less..it was clean. Neither of us had any complaints...and we are both rather picky people. A train went by at around 10pm, and scared the crap out of us...but that's life. A very relaxing […] room after a long day of shopping !1 I will be booking early for next Oct !!! Les mer
"Super 8 Odlin Rd Bangor me"
Overall we had a good stay at this motel. The staff were very friendly and efficient. We experienced a prowler through the night trying to break into cars in the back parking lot. I would suggest better lighting along the outer side of the parking lot. Rates were competitive although a bit far from the shopping centers.

"Great overnight stay"
We stayed one night during our travels for college tours. Clean, reasonableand quiet. Perfect for passing through. A little dated but all we needed for the night. Would stay again.

"Good value for money!"
I stayed at the hotel for one night, got almost no sleep the beds are hard and the pillows were impossible high & lumpy but you get what you pay! The breakfast was passable and the hotel clean...for one night it was acceptable another night there would have been impossible......
"Fear!!!"
This is the only thing I can say about this hotel. We stayed a previous time and everything was perfect. But not this time. I was getting ready for a shower and my friend had went out to get ice so the security lock was not on the door. A man comes up and unlocks my door and just walks right on in. I yelled at him and he says oh sorry and turns around […] and walks out. I cut my leg shaving because it scared me so bad. The hotel clerk said oh we have a new guy and he was playing with the card machine and he forgot to inactivate the 2 that unlocked your door. NOT A GOOD ENOUGH REASON. What if for some strange reason we forgot to lock the security lock and he had of walked in on us in the middle of the night. Two women alone, we would have died right there. So stay away from this hotel. Les mer
