Princeville Oceanfront Villas - Princeville

-The apartment had a very bad, irritating, moldy smell. Three of six days there was no hot water. The care-takers tried to fix it with not much success. The location is great, the view worth a million dollar.

These accommodations were the worst I have ever experienced in my many trips to Kauai. The moment we walked in we experienced a strong, musty smell that never went away. There was very little privacy, and we endured constant noise from heavy footsteps in the Villa above us, and from the dogs barking and the neighbors around us. Very nice and clean room. Room came with: full kitchen w/ all appliances and dish ware, living area w/ TV and DVD player, seperate bedroom with own bathroom and TV, front and back balconies, and free Wi-Fi. Property close to the beach with quiet surroundings. Very close to popular tourist spots.

Convenient, quiet, great view and very easy to enjoy. We had everything we needed and more.

Approaching the unit and seeing the weathered shingles was the first depressing indication. Noisy neighbors fighting at night did not help. Nor did a musty smell, or a tiny bathroom with no towel service. For a condo priced comparable to a hotel room, it was not worth it at all.

Two bedroom condo was spacious and well located. Furniture was worn and uncomfortable. Even though the reservation was booked for 3 adults and 2 children and requested four separate beds, there were only three beds in the condo. Management agency (Oceanfront Realty) was indifferent and suggested that the customer contact a local furniture company to […] rent a bed at a cost of another $100+ This was very disappointing -- if the condo wasn't suitable, it should not have been assigned. This property exceeded my expectations vastly. Check in and check out were absolutely hassle free as there was no interaction with property staff either coming or going. The ocean view was spectacular, the unit was spotless and well furnished and well worth the rental rate.

Princeville is a beautiful location and we were glad we chose to stay there. It is extremely private, but still very close to a grocery store and shopping center. The condo has a gorgeous ocean view, but unfortunately we were not able to walk to any beaches since it is situated on a cliff. The only draw back to this accommodation is the lack of a pool. After we left for another accommodation on the East side of the island, we wished we had longer at Halo Hanu. There was every amenity one could need for a short or extended stay. The mountain views were breath taking! We arrived at night & we were overwhelmed by the stars that greeted us […] as we walked to the unit. Overall, this is great place to stay on the North side of Kauai if you do not mind not having a pool for a fresh water swim. Les mer

This place was awesome. Everything was available for us from a fully stocked kitchen to free boogie boards and snorkels. It was also beautiful inside with sliding doors everywhere and the ocean was 50 yards away. Looking over a fairway withan ocean view. We were in Kamahana 12. Perfect getaway spot

Nice and roomy, but the beds were not comfortable. When was the last time the beds were replaced?

We booked on expedia, and we were not sure what to expect. We got to princeville and were pleasantly shocked. We were not at a hotel, but our own private two bedroom condo. It was stocked with everything we might need, and the people couldnt have been more helpful. It was relaxing, private and easy. I can't wait to go back to Princeville. The Princeville Oceanfront villas were very nice. Unit was clean and nicely appointed. The location was perfect, right on cliff overlooking the ocean. Walk down to beach was a little difficult. Other beacches nearby were nicer. I saw monk seal on beach though so it was worth it. Very close to Makai Golf Course and shopping center. There was no housekeeping […] for the 4 days i stayed there but i really did not mind. Price was great. It was not plush. But i would stay there again. Also stayed in Poipu. That condo cost alot more but was more modern and much nicer. better furniture and falt screen TVs. nice stereo, granite counter tops. (Castle Beach Bungalows) Les mer

I would rate this higher than a 3 star hotel. The view was great (which would depend on what room you get), the full kitchen was very nice for making breakfast/dinner, everything was better than expected.

Es handelt sich nicht um eine Hotelanlage, sondern um ein von privat vermietetes Appartment mit Renovationsbedarf. Die Türe zum Gartensitzplatz klemmte und konnte nicht geöffnet werden. Zudem haben wir nicht die Unterkunft erhalten, welche wir gebucht hatten. Preis-Leistung stimmte überhaupt nicht.
