I arrived too early(one o'clock), so I waited in my air conditioned car for one hour, Right outside the room that I ended up getting. The only "cleaning" that was done in my room, was change of bedsheets, towres, and no cloth , mop og detergent entered my room that day. But I liked the room, bathroom, bed and pool area. Aldo coffee maker, hair dryer and refrigerator in my room. And the maintenance guy was hard working and very service minded. He made a good impression for the hotel. Hotel is really close to the beach, and the beach Is lovely! I would def go back!

Veldig bra senger, rent og pent, ikke veldig sentralt, nærme flyplassen. ca 5 minutter å gå til nærmeste butikk. Gratis kjapt trådløst internett, og gratis buss til og fra flyplassen, sentrum ligger ca 15 minutter unna med taxi. Jeg vil bo der igjen hvis jeg skal tilbake til Tampa.

Flott stab, hyggelige mennesker med serviceinnstilling. Fikk rom med lukt da vi kom - ble byttet neste morgen uten problemer. Kjempefin frokost i rene lokaler. Anbefales!

Nice hotel. Very good restaurant where we had tuna that was perfect. We went to a concert in times forum arena and it is very close, but there is not much else in the neighborhood. Breakfast was ok. They charge extra for parking I rather have that included in room price.

This hotel is very close to the trolley and buses and the water. If you get a rom on the higher floors, you get a great view too.

"Great Hotel, But Sevice Lacking"
Rooms and hotel location are great. Also a plus is the complimentary happy hour was a nice touch. Only downside was having to wait (long with other guests) over an hour after check-in time to have our room ready. This was a non-holiday Wednesday night, so there was really no excuse.

"Conference Stay"
The hotels was nice, but the elevators were slow. The breakfast was excellent - Omelet station, hot eggs, bacon, potatoes, and fresh fruit. The managers reception each evening did not disappoint. The staff was friendly, but had some issues with the maid service not leaving new towels and such; but we did have a good bit of stuff laying around with 3 […] girls in one suite. Stayed here for one night for a family wedding. Super convenient, the hotel was immaculate and the staff was very friendly. Love the breakfast! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone!

I went to a meeting at the convention center and I stayed in this hotel. It was fantastic. A bridge connects the hotel to the convention center. Very convenient. The the best part was the included breakfast. It was the best I ever had in any hotel i have stayed in the United States. Rates were just about right. If you go to Tampa for a convention center […] or to watch a concert, do stay in this hotel. You will not regret. The panoramic elevator is wonderful. I recommend you to stay on a high floor. "Great hotel"
We picked this hotel for its close location to the tampa bay forum and it worked out even better than expected. Our only complaint was we did not have more time to enjoy the hotel and local area. The free breakfast was another highlight which included a full order of hot foods and made to order omelets.
Very much enjoyed the leisurely happy hour and full breakfast. Excellent service and good food and grog.

"need it quiet?"
It can be pretty noisy .weddings going on,lots of young people. Request a room away from the hub bub. They did it,just ask. Get there early for the breakfast. It can get crowded and hard to find a seat. But a nice place to stay if you have a cruise in the morning. A little far to walk dragging luggage. Cab is affordable for two people.

This hotel is in the perfect location for downtown Tampa, the convention center, Ybor City, and if you're leaving from Tampa on a cruise. I mention the latter not only as a selling point but as a caveat - during our stay, it seemed the majority of patrons were staying because they were sharing one suite with many other friends in advance of going on […] a cruise. The public areas of the hotel were sometimes too noisy to relax. The breakfast and happy hour seating area too was too cafeteria-like to enjoy to the full. We spent our 41st Wedding Anniversary here to be close to the Dinner Cruise departure port. The walk to and from the port was very enjoyable - actually more enjoyable than the dinner cruise! The next morning we extended our walking area and later visited the nearby Florida Aquarium. This hotel provided one of the best "free" breakfast I have ever had […] at a hotel. My husband said the volume of nearby music shook the picture on the bedroom wall but I managed to sleep fine; he also hated the pillows. Attending a conference at the convention center - this was the perfect hotel. A skybridge to the center made it easy to get back and forth. The omlette bar for breakfast was fast and easy and delicious. And of course the happy hour bar was always welcome at the end of the day. The service was incredible and I highly recommend this hotel.

The room was not prepared when we came in. Water was running from every tap (!) and the mirror was leaned up against the wall and the picture glass was cracked. We thought it was haunted and in any case, the room had not been prepared well at all.The poolside was strewn with trash and the pool was way too small to be interesting, People were being very […] noisy everywhere, but fortunately the hotel design muffled the noise so we could sleep. There were almost 1000 guests at the hotel (mostly Dallas Cowboy fans)..way crowded and noisy. Breakfast was excellent and so was the location to the cruise line, so those things made it managable. I don't know if I would put myself through that whole experience again. Les mer

Located at downtown tampa close to the port, this place is neet, roomy and provided good breakfast included in the room rent. We had a bit of problem getting food for our baby because of late arrival (just about 11 pm)

I just found out that i am a cancer survivor and so this trip was a present from my family and friends... i mentioned it to the bartender in the managers reception and she came out of the kitchen with strawberries and cream ....what a special thing to do ...great personal service..thank everyone for being so thoughtful... i will never stay anywhere […] else before my Cruise again. "Great hotel close to the port for cruise"
this hotel is a great hotel to stay when going to a cruise. It's walking distance from the port and a great hotel.

I stayed for 6 nights. Each day the room was not clean properly. I had to ask for towels, bath mat, etc. The mirrors would not be clean, housekeeping left my linen on the floor, left water in the ice bucket. The fire alarm went off at least 5 times, kept getting locked out of room. The trolley cafe kept charging me a different price for the mango cheesecake. […] No free shuttle. Won't stay there again. "What a New Years!"
We visited our son in Tampa & stayed at the Embassy Suites. We returned about 1:30 AM and found ourselves locked out of the room along with all the other guests. The crew on duty tried their best to use hard keys to get everyone in eir room. It still took an hour or more, with some guests not getting in until 3 or 4. The hotel did the right thing and […] comped the room that night (that refund has to go through hotels.com, so I will see how long it takes), however I still had two problems: 1). Until the next morning there was no sign of additional cre being called in, and despite asking repeatedly never found e general manager had come on site, nor was I told he could not, employees didn't seem to know. 2). There was absolutely no identity required to be let in your room, not even proof you had a room key. The hotel was lucky no one took advantage that I know of. In addition the breakfast buffet closed early despite the front desk understanding of holiday hours. Again the front desk did respond appropriately by coming a breakfast at the in hotel Starbucks. Obviously there was no advance planning for an incident of this type. The hotel was nice, but delay in calling in sufficient resources to deal with a problem marred the vacation. Les mer

Stayed here pre-cruise on Dec. 23rd. Got into Tampa early and got to the hotel around 10:45 AM. Our room was ready for us and we checked in right away. The suite was very comfortable and up to date. No free wi-fi, though! The only draw back was the furnishings in the lobby were a bit shabby. Other than that.....this was a great place to stay. They had a Managers FREE Happy Hour and also free breakfast buffet included in room rate. That was AWESOME. Very close to everything. Glad we picked this location.

The free breakfast was a zoo. SInce the hotel knows the number of people staying each night, perhaps they should have the staff available to keep breakfast moving and clean. Cereal was everywhere, the line for omelets was 25 minutes long and there were no utensils available.

"Great Hotel!"
The breakfast was wonderful! They had made to order omlettes, hot and cold breakfast food and a big variety of drinks. The location was perfect for catching our Carnival cruise. It is only about a 10 minute walk. The rooms were clean and spacious! I look forward to staying at an Embassy Suites again!

"Construction"
We stayed during a time of construction on the hotel so alot of the little things that I enjoy were not available, like calling down from my room to have my car available. I had to come down and wait for a valet to retrieve my car. Not a big thing but when on vacation I like to be pampered with stuff like that. And the noise made it so you really couldn't […] just stay at the hotel so, I was gone most of the time. Also, the cordless handset didn't work in my room. Like I said little things.
