Perfekt avslutning på 10 dagers Spaniatur. Barcelona Airport Hotel ble valgt da hotellet ligger sentralt til i forhold til Barcelona Airport (La Prat) - utreise på formiddag, derfor bra med siste overnatting nært flyplassen.

Hyggelig hotel. God service og god beliggenhet i forhold til flyplassen. Gratis flyplassbuss frakter deg til og fra parkering G ved terminal 1. Jeg ringte fra ankomsthallen og ventet kun noen få minutter på bussen. Ved avreise fra hotellet kjørte bussen punktlig til avtalt tid. Hotellet er nå frittstående, men har tilhørt en større hotelkjede tidligere. […] God standard på rommene. Jeg fikk en Kings Size bed med 6 puter. Jeg kommer til å benytte dette hotellet igjen. Hotell ved flyplassen som var elegant og rent og pent og ett hyggelig hotell.Vi kunne ikke høre flyene. Swimmingpool området var flott. Kun ett minus med at det var litt lytt i fra korridoren. Ellers bra og godt over gjennomsnitt på 4 stjerners hoteller.Fin ordning med transport til sentrum. Anbefales til alle .

Bra hotell med greie fasiliteter. Bassenget var fint, men treningsrommet svært begrenset. Et typisk business hotell som ikke er spesielt hyggelig men fungerer godt ift. pris/kvalitet. Bortsett fra tekniske problemer med internett aksess på rommet som i tillegg kostet mye var servicen ok.

Vi var en natt på hotellet mellom fly / cruise. Store, fine rom med enorme senger. Supert med svømmebasseng hvor man kan låne håndklær også etter utsjekk. Restauranten har laber kvalitet til høy hotellpris. Kjøp heller pizza i baren eller på cafe rett over veien. OBS: Shuttle fra terminalen må bestilles (gratis), den kommer ikke uten bestilling. Et svært hotell som ser ny ut, men har en del mangler. I lobbyen er det en veldig rar lukt, på badet fant jeg sjampoflasker som var brukt, det manglet håndkler, dunen var skitten,batteriene på badet er vanskelige å skru av og på og ikke minst gratis transport til flyplassen som ble tilbudt av Hotels.com kunne ikke tilbys til oss siden det var for mange […] som skulle til flyplassen samtidig som oss. Hotellet utenpå og inne er kjempeflott. Menneskene der er utrolig hyggelige, servicen var flott og avstand til flyplass og sentrum var egentlig helt ypperlig. Bar og mat er åpent til 01:00 samt roomservice, mulighet for røyking inne i "0" etasje med salong og tv. Busser går til Placa Espanyol 2 ganger for dagen, og til Las Rambla 5-6 ganger om dagen […] (6 euro pr pers pr vei). Vi tok Taxi til både Sagrana Familia (Må sees), Camp Nou, Placa Espanyol. 9-17 euro med taxi. (10-15min kjøring). Vi trodde det var mulighet for å gå til hotellet fra flyplass siden avstanden var så kort, men det var ikke mulig. Vit at taxiene tar minste beløp på 20 euro fra flyplass til hotell. Resturanten er basert på sjømat, og var veldig ordentlig og prisene deretter. Maten på bar/resturanten utenfor var litt mer pasta, kylling og kanskje noe ungene liker bedre. Rommet vi fikk var kjempeflott. King size bed, kontorplass, safe, stort bad med badekar/dusj og føner, airconditionn og tv. Det er ingen trafikkstøy, men litt lytt fra gangen utenfor. Vi ville heller tatt dette hotellet igjen, enn et som ligger i sentrum. Viva España! Les mer

the room and personell were excellent they went out of their way to help in anyway they could with being in a foreign country that my husband and I did not speak the language the only problem I found was the lack of resturants close by and when this hotel closed off the main resturnant to th e hotel customers because they were catering to a cruise ship […] members Les mer

The hotel was great and the assistance from the front desk staff was more than expected of a hotel with such an affordable price. Very pleased with the free shuttle but to city and return and free shuttle to airport that starts at 4:00 am. Our thanks to the staff for the service and comfort.

If you only want to be near the airport it's good and quiet. The location seemed to be in the middle of an industrial park. We were there on a Sunday night and it was very quiet. Nothing within walking distance. They offered free shuttle service to and from the airport which was nice. You could eat at the bar area downstairs and the food was good. But […] be careful as it is costly and they have a captive audience. Whatch your change as they not only charged me dearly for a burger and a club sandwich he attempted to short me on my change giving me small denomination of coins instead of Euros. The hotel had 1 restaurant which was closed for dinner. the Lounge was closed could only eat in the Bar. Hotel needs some maintenance work. Shower in bath was 'messy'. Water went everywhere and the tub was a very slow drain. Room service arrived 5 min early - got us out of bed!

Room was large and comfortable. Being just 5 minutes away from the airport makes it very convenient if you have an early flight. But you should go somewhere else for having dinner.

Really close to the airport and has a free shuttle that begins at 5 am which is what we were looking for. With the hotel so close to the airport it is very far from any food or activities in Barcelona. If you do want to spend time in the city there is an exress bus that leaves every 15 - 20 min right across the way from the front entrance to the hotel. […] The bus goes to Plaza Espana and runs until about 10:30 pm. Room was very nice and confortable. Staff was incredibly helpful and pleasant. Biggest fault of the hotel is no free wi-fi, which in this day and age is rather unbelievable. It costs a small fee for an hour or a larger fee for 24 hrs. Other than no free wi-fi it is a great hotel for your last night in Spain before catching your flight out. Les mer

The hotel was nice and quiet - which was ideal for our overnight stay before a Transatlantic flight. It was cozy and clean inside the room and the doors to the hallway were practically soundproof - ideal for this hotel since people are checking out for flights at all times of the day. Hotel apparently recently changed hands - signage is missing and taxi driver did not know the location/name (we arrived too late to catch the free hotel shuttle although this was convenient for our morning return to the airport. Staff nice on arrival but failed to provide wake-up call as requested. Room clean and comfortable but lukewarm (at best) water, […] and a room conditioner that only blew hot air (even when set to 15C) made it less than a pleasant stay. The final straw was a $1 euro per person/night charge that we were notified of at checkout. Clerk said it was a Catalan gov tax. If this is a charge for every room, then it should be included in the hotels.com price. Will stay elsewhere next time Les mer

Just needed a place to stay for an early morning flight. The hotel is very close to the airport and offers a free shuttle to and from. Staff was friendly, although there was some confusion on payment - they didn't understand that room was already paid through hotels.com. On the downside - the walls are paper thin. We were given an upgrade to an executive room, because we had waited 45 minutes at the airport shuttle stop for a shuttle that never arrived and ended up taking a taxi to the hotel (minimum fee of 20 Euros for a meter reading of 9 Euros!). Shuttle service was excellent, even with all of our baggage. Hotel is about 5 minute drive from the airport. The rooms were very nicely appointed, bathroom was excellent. The dinner service and quality was amazing, especially considering your were sort of "trapped at an "Airport" hotel. We used the hotel for a very short overnight stay. The hotel provided shuttle that pick us up and send us to the airport. Unfortunately we could not have the breakfast, as our flight is very early (we have to leave the hotel at 5:40 am). I really enjoyed the way this hotel was decorated. The lobby was nice and check out the bar with the wall of light. The rooms were lovely also. There was a leak in the bathroom and they moved us to the next room no problem. The wakeup calls were on time. They gave good directions to the airport. Was a nice place to stay.

Great place to stay if you need to be close to the airport. They have free shuttle to airport. Not close to Barcelona activities. They only have a free shuttle to the city at 10 am with pickup at 5pm. Otherwise you have to pay. If your going to spend most of your time in Barcelona, stay there in town. Room was so comfortable I slept like a baby, The room was wonderful as was the bathroom. Lots of space and quality all around. The staff was more helpful than I could of imagined. I wanted to know when the airlines lounges opened and they did the research for me so I know just where to go. Only problem I had was finding the pick up spot for the shuttle […] to the hotel from the airport. This might have been because I had already been in Barcelona and missed the signs when I returned to find the hotel. Just look for microbus signs and its easy now Les mer

We wanted to be near the airport, and this hotel with its free shuttle service filled that bill. There is nothing in the surrounding area so you have to depend on the hotel restaurant--which was only fair. Other than that the hotel was clean and modern. The rooms were satisfactory--and they did give you a free time on the internet to check into your […] flight and print out boarding passes. Ideal location for stop over or easy access to airport. Excellent shuttle service to and from hotel. Shuttle service was provided to downtown Barcelona which was an added bonus. Found hotel restaurant slightly expensive with no alternative as there are no other restaurants in the area.

The manager, Oscar Bujosa, was exceedingly helpful in guiding me toward a solution to a travel problem. He is the type of hotel manager who takes a hands on approach. Additionally, I found the hotel's employees to be first class. I look forward to staying at the Renaissance Barcelona hotel again.

Very good hotel. Very close to the airport. We stayed there before going on Cruise. They have shuttle to the port. They have shuttle to city center. This is in office complex area, good area. Breakfast not included. Rooms are good size and nice.

The hotel is beautiful but in an industrial area not close to down town at all. The check in and check out process was disorganized and chaotic. After traveling for 24 hours to get there, my room wasn't ready at 6:00pm-and all I got were excuses as to why it wasn't ready. No concessions were offered to me to make up for making me wait over an hour to […] get a room and no aplogies were ever made. The restaurant wasn't open until 7:00 so after going all day without a solid meal, I was forced to eat their over priced snacks for dinner in the lounge/bar area. They charge $25/Euro per person for breakfast. the shower didn't drain properly, so after showering, there was a pool of water all over the bathroom floor, which spilled over to the sleeping area. The conceirge was rude and acted as though he was doing me a favor by doing his job and making shuttle arrangements to down town and later the airport! When the down town shuttle did arrive (amongst many other shuttles to the cruise ports/airport) the driver never announced who he was, leaving many guests standing around and wondering when he was going to show up. After a brief wait, he left and didn't come back for another hour. When guests complained to the hotel staff the response was, "we're very busy and don't have time to keep track of the shuttle drivers!" What? The shuttle bus is part of the hotel 'service', which they charge for the return trip back to the hotel! It is free when it drops you off in town, but then there is a charge for coming back to the hotel. When I checked out of the hotel, I had a few hours to kill before I had to head to the airport for my flight home, and graciously, the staff offered to keep my bags locked away for me after I checked out and before I headed home. Well, they misplaced my things and almost made me miss my flight home. They do have a baggage check system in place, however, they are so disorganized,the do not instill confidence.
