Hotellet ligg i to ulike bygningar ved sida av kvarandre. Me fekk rom i ein annan bygning enn resepsjonen var i. Det første som møtte oss når me opna døra til rommet var innestengd gammal røykelukt. Me hadde blitt lova airconditioning. Det var det ikkje. Sidan det var over 30 grader i Roma dei dagane me var der, så måtte me ha vinduet på vidt gap. Utanfor […] hotellet ligg ei av dei mest trafikkerte gatene i Roma. Det var trafikk 24 timar i døgnet. Hadde det ikkje vore for at me hadde hatt øyreproppar med oss, hadde me ikkje fått sova. Rommet var kjempelite og det var knapt plass til å gå på golvet. Badet var lite og trangt utan nok særleg luftsirkulasjon. Annonsa lova også wifi, men det var det heller ikkje. Det einaste som var positivt med rommet vårt var at det var reint og hadde safe og minibar. Dersom du skal til Roma i sommarmånadane bør du verkeleg styra unna dette hotellet! Les mer

We needed to stay in Rome for one night before we flew home, and this hotel was close enough to Termini to either walk about 10 minutes, or hop on the bus over to Termini. It was very easy to do either. We encountered 2 hotel employees for our stay, and the guy at nighttime was awesome!!! He packed up a breakfast to go for us because we had to leave […] so early, and he gave us 2 wake-up calls just to make sure we didn't miss our flight. Overall, it was a clean, good hotel to stay in for one night. Good deal for the money. Les mer

We stayed at several Italian hotels and this was the smallest room. Not a big deal though because it was very close to the train station and convenient to most of the tourist attractions. The room was recently renovated, the staff was friendly, and the breakfast was good and large for Europe.

Slightly eccentric hotel with reception and breakfast in one room on first floor, and some bedrooms are in an adjacent building. Rooms are small but well appointed and the service is caring. breakfast included. 24 hours access. Good value in a central location in Rome and about 10 minutes walk to Rome Termini station.

We stay 3 night in this hotel Sept. 12 ,13 and sept.14 2011,we had bad experence AC was not working at all as we complaint the rep. said it work from 5 pm to 5 am and it did not happened and we could not open the window because the room was top restaurant it was too noising till mid night after complaint 2 days in row they put a fan ithe room it blows […] only hot air and these 3 day was very inside the and outside the room. Room was very small and lobby was about 4 foot wide it was so suffocation we was not comfertable at. I am from Toronto Canada. Les mer

I arrived at night and the man at the front desk was extremely rude! I felt as if I were the one bothering him for checking-in; terrible unwelcoming feeling. The WIFI was not working throughout the hotel (only in reception which was an uncomfortable little space to begin with so I had to use the WIFI from the hotel next door! Then the WIFI would not […] work and I'd kindly ask reception for help who shrugged his shoulders and said he couldn't help. There was no responsible go-to person really. Terrible. The second night I slept in the hotel there was a terrible loud noise above my room like someone was sanding the floors above (at about 5am) but once I called reception about the problem, it promptly stopped. Otherwise, the complete stay was a nightmare and very scary from the time of check-in. I felt unsafe and as if I were living with strict parents every time I came in since reception had to remind me I was aloud in ALONE (not with a guest) which of course I knew but made me feel like I was always under vigilance. Overall, I felt very very unwelcome and had a 'creepy' feeling about the hotel itself and especially the staff! Lastly, the hotel was situated very far from the Termini train station (closest station) and was a 20 min walk away. I would not recommend staying here. Rome is an expensive city to stay in, so we didn't mind the small room. The room was clean, and the location was good. The only thing we didn't like was the false advertising about the A/C which, in August was highly necessary. They claimed that the A/C switched on from 9pm to 5am or something like that, but it was still 30+ degrees in our room, so […] if anything was turned on, it didn't work. And if there were air conditioning, we should have control of it. We would rather have paid more to stay somewhere where the A/C worked. Would not reccommend staying here in the summer. This hotel is kinda hard to find if you don't have a really good map. A taxi is recommended and is cheap if you are coming from the train station. The Rooms are very small but very clean and very secure. There is a breakfast in the morning that is really good (coffee, and fresh local bakery goods). The staff doesn't speak english very well (and some […] not at all) but they are very willing to try and work with you. Internet if free inside the main lobby of the hotel. This would be a great little hotel, if the maitainence and service were better. The Air Conditioner was very poor leaving me with one sleepless night due to the unbearably hot room. I finally won the argument to get a fan provided, so I did get some sleep the second night. Even after repeated inquirys, the TV was never fixed (one of which I was told […] that they were coming to fix, and after an hour I called back to be notified that several rooms were not working and they were not coming....they could have called and told me this so I was not waiting). That said, the good points were, very reasonable price for Rome, an adaquate continental breakfast, and really convienent location. It is only a short walk from the Termini Station (don't follow the bus recomendations given by the hotel because the bus does not stop on XX Septembre on the route going away from the Termini Staion, so you have to ride it all the way to the end, stay on it and ride all the way back to within a couple blocks of your starting point....this takes the better part of an hour) The only way that I am recommending this hotel to anyone is on the assumption that the maintainence issues were not the norm. Hotel was nice and clean. Comfy beds which was nice for the end of our trip. Breakfast was decent (croissants and rolls). central, clean and good value

Room was small but it was all we needed for the two of us. If you have kids, this is not the room for you! For us it was just the room to come to in the evening and rest after a long day of sightseeing in Rome. Breakfast was good but thin.

Hotel had good service and was clean, our chief requirements. We read a lot before leaving home and had a good idea what to expect of European hotels; we were not disappointed,. Walking distance to everywhere, if you like to walk. Otherwise...maybe not. We walked everywhere--to colosseum, to Vatican, etc.

If you are looking for a nice place to stay at rome near to the centre you can select baltic hotel. firstly the main train and bus station is very near to the hotel. you can walk easily to the station and it takes only 10 minutes to get there, also you can enjoy the view during your walk. Nice location, friendly staff, totally Italian atmpsphere espcially I love the elevator! Simple but very good breakfast (High quality coffee, croissont and orange juice). This hotel was alright. If you haven't read the other reviews, the reception desk and rooms themselves are in two different buildings. The area seemed just a bit shady to me, but then again all of Rome seems a bit shady. The room was nice though, normal harder European beds, decent bathroom, all that sort of thing. The one thing that I didn't like was […] that the hallway that you walk through and the room doors out into the hallway were not very insulated. My husband and I had an early flight to get up for but were kept awake for awhile by people talking out in the hallway....whenever someone is in that hallway you can hear every noise they make. Very nice hotel for the price paid. Everything was very clean. It's fairly close to the main Train Station so it's convenient if you're traveling by train. The location itself is nice and quiet, I just wish there were more restaurants and supermarkets around. All in all a nice hotel for someone who's not looking for luxury.

Stay away from this:: 1. Their Air conditioning does NOT work. Being right on top of a busy road (you can hear any music/ radio played in any car passing by), you cannot keep windows open at night. We stayed up till 2am, calling reception a zillion times but to no use, only apologies no solution or no fan. Only when outside air cooled during the early […] morning hours, we got some sleep. A/c repaired itself and switched on automatically at 6am. 2. Hotel owns a couple of floors in a couple of nearby buildings. Very inconvenient for moving around esp. if you get a room in the other non-reception building. Old buildings, small metal lift that doesnt work if someone on some floor left the gates open. 3. No internet access. Only if you are close to reception, you might have limited access. They give you access for 10 mins with a personalized password, and that too if receptionist is not uploading something (!?) 4. Next night, we got a new room close to the reception, a/c switched off again in middle of night. All shower, basin drains were blocked, phone did not work. 5. Rude and creepy receptionist in evening, ladies careful. The office manager and other working staff was fine. 6. It is not very close to the station or any metro line. Reasonable walk, at this rate and quality you can definitely get something closer. The only good part about the hotel was probably the breakfast. Les mer

Stayed here for 4 nights at the end of July, 2010. We're a pretty young couple and we don't mind staying in a budget hotel. I'm pretty happy as long a the room is clean. I was annoyed that our room smelled like cigarettes but after airing it out, it was fine (and I am SUPER sensitive to that nasty smell but I was able to tolerate it just fine). It was nice having a fridge in our room. I have two complaint s: one is that the hotel did not have central air. I'm not sure if that is an amenity that they claim to have or not. Or if they do have it, it sure wasn't on and Rome was CRAZY hot while we were there. Maybe they only start to turn on the A/C in July? Who knows? Secondly, the hotel rooms are separated between two buildings. If you aren't in the main one which has the reception area, you don't have easy access to wifi, which was important to me and thus a cause of irritation. Oh and they're breakfast was decent. If you need somewhere clean to stay near the Termini train station this is for you. The room was comfy and clean and a basic breakfast provided of good coffee and croissants. The area is probably pretty dodgy late at night so if you're expecting late nights maybe stay somewhere nearer the centre.

A nice hotel next to Termini Station and surrounded with great restaurants. Our room was tidy and clean and the hotel staff helped us a lot. I really enjoyed our stay there!

the hotel has great location. The same is located very near of the Terminal Station, internet point, venice and national street and several attractions. Also, for hanging out, the hotel is near within 3 blocks of Hard Rock Cafe - Roma and others bars/lounges/cafe as well. We had a little trouble finding the hotel. We walked from Termini station which was not that bad. At first, we were concerned as when we entered the foyer we could smell stale cigarrete smoke, but later learned that the hotel itself is smoke free. Apparently there are other businesses on the street level floor. The elevator is very tiny. It only held […] one person and luggage. The hotel reception is on the second floor. The hotel staff was very pleasant and helpful. We arrived early so our room was not quite ready but were allowed to keep our luggage in the reception area and went out to explore Rome. This was our final night before we returned home. The location is very close to the bus line that took us right to the Vatican for one euro. Bus # 62. When we returned quite tired after a day out, we were not sure what we would have for a room. After all, the price was very inexpensive, especially for Rome so we were not expecting too much. To our delight we found the room and bathroom very clean and quiet. Although the room was small we did have plenty of room. We found it to be a great place to set up a base. True we only stayed one night, but would not hesitate to stay at the Baltic again. The price also included a continental breakfast of fresh baked goods, juice, tea, coffee, cappuchino et. Les mer

The main thing to remember about this hotel is that it is traditional and not like your typical Holiday Inn or Hilton American room. Small room, minimal ammenities, traditional bathroom. Very clean. Although it says air conditioning, you don't have the controls to it, and they are reluctant to lower the thermostat.

You have to super super skinny to fit anywhere in your room in this hotel. There is absolutely no space to move around, to keep your luggage. I stayed at many hotels in Europe. I have never seen hotel with such a small room size. The bathroom is also tiny. The hotel is about 20 minute walk from the Termini station. Rooms are placed at two different sides of the building. The hotel office is at the other side. No good sign is posted to help find the hotel easily. The elevator is super small again. Hotellihuoneemme oli erittäin siisti ja kivasti sisustettu. Sängyt olivat erinomaiset. Sijainti on rauhallinen, joten ulkoa ei kuulunut häiritsevää melua.

Hotel moyen composé de plusieurs annexes a des adresses différentes (cal suppose de sonner pour que l'on vous ouvre à distance). Pas trop éloigné des sites touristiques. Chambre propre mais minuscule avec télévision 30 cm des années 80... Personnel agréable.

Hotellet var på stort set i orden til prisen. Værelset, vi fik, var imidlertid placeret ud til en lukket gård. Der kom meget lidt dagslys ind på værelset og op fra et underliggende køkken, kom en ulidelig stank af friture. Det værelse burde ikke kunne lejes ud. Det var umuligt at have vinduet åbent. Vores andet værelse var ok. Rummet, som vi fik morgenmad […] i, var sammenfaldende med receptionen og var meget lille med kun få borde. Limpio, prolijo, relativamente bien ubicado, desayuno discreto. La primera impresión no es muy buena, el lobby es pequeño y nuestra habitación estaba ubicada en el anexo, cuya entrada es en un edificio a la vuelta de manzana, con la incomodidad de tocar timbre, Acorde con el precio. Destaco la limpieza y orden.

Мы прилетели в Рим довольно поздно, но успели сесть и доехать до вокзала (Термини) на авиаэкспрессе. От вокзала до отеля мы дошли пешком, идти минут 10 средним шагом.Потом мы часто ходили пешком к вокзалу от него отходят поезда в разные города, метро и автобусы. Сам отель расположен в тихом месте, нам досталась комната выходящая окнами во двор, поэтому […] было оч тихо, хотя стоит заметить , что стены в отеле тонкие и слышимость соот приличная, НО так как мы целый день гуляли по Риму, а в отеле только ночевали- мы остались довольны. Комната небольшая, но уютная, нам ее было достаточно.Есть небольшая ванная (не душ)Комнату убирали нам каждый день (смена полотенец, постели). Завтраки в отеле довольно однообразны: кофе, сок, круассаны, джем, хотя стоит заметить кофе был всегда прекрасен. Один большой минус-это интернет, в номерах его просто нет, есть вай-фай в лобби-зоне и то, он бывал не всегда, а так как лобби-зона находилась в соседнем подъезде -это еще более неудобно, мы пользовались интернетом неподалеку на соседней улице в инет-кафе. Еще небольшой минус в нашей комнате не работал сейф(( В районе отеля очень много кафе, где можно вкусно и не очень дорого покушать, одно из них "Мама Анджела" -особенно запомнилось! Так как наше путешествие носило романтический характер- нам все понравилось и отель в том числе)) Можно сказать соотношение цена-качество - ОК! Для небольших романтических уикендов или для поездок не предусматривающих проводить много времени в отеле - отель подходит 100 процентов))) Les mer

O hotel possui um preco bem em conta porém falta estrutura, a recepcao tem dificuldades com outros idiomas e nao existe apoio nenhum para quem se hospeda, ar condicionado desligado em periodos que eles julgam frios.

Et udemærket hotel til prisen. Pænt, rent og med venligt og vidende personale i receptionen. Let at komme til og fra.

El hotel esta muy bien ubicado, a una cuadra esta el paradero del bus y a 5 minutos esta la estación del metro en bus. Todo queda cerca, muy centrado el hotel. La gente SUPER cordial. Muy buen hotel y lo recomería mucho.

Excellent hôtel, que je conseillerai à mes amis. Les chambres, bien que pas très grandes (veil hôtel en centre ville) sont très propres, les salles de bains très bien également. Il est très bien situé (à moins de 15 mn à pieds de la gare termini), où on peut prendre les fameux "open bus", très pratiques pour connaitre et visiter Rome. Le petit déjeuner […] est copieux, et les serveurs sont à notre écoute pour tout changement. Le parking est en supplément ; mais la voiture est garée (ce qui n'es pas facile dû tout dans une ville comme Rome), abritée et surveillée. Très bon hôtel, à conseiller. Les mer

Also erst mal zu den positiven Dingen: Das Hotel liegt relativ zentral, es ist nicht weit zum Hauptbahhof, man kann aber durchaus auch zu Fuss zu vielen Sehenswuerdigkeiten laufen (Spanische Treppe, Pantheon), wenn man Zeit und Lust dazu hat. Das Zimmer wurde jeden Tag saubergemacht und insgesamt konnte man die Sauberkeit nicht beanstanden. Es gab einen […] Kuehlschrank im Zimmer. Gefruehstueckt haben wir nicht, da wir nachts eher laenger uterwegs waren, daher kann ich dazu nichts sagen. Negativ: Das Zimmer war wirklich winzig und sehr, sehr dunkel, ich glaube aber, dass es auch groessere und hellere Zimmer gibt und wir da etwas Pech hatten. Fuer den Preis eigentlich zu klein. Der Rezeptionist beim Einchecken war sehr unfreundlich und sehr langsam, der beim Auschecken allerdings sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Les mer

Fint standard hotel, god service, venligt personale, fin morgenmad efter italiensk standard. Rent og pænt, men dog små værelser og nogen støj fra Via Settembre. Centralt beliggende ifht Termini og mange seværdigheder - vi nød vores ophold!

veramente un ottimo hotel la posizione non male ....il quartire offre molte cose sia come divertimenti sia come ristoranti .... le camere veramente comodo e molto pulite ...sono veramente sodisfatto ....il personale dell'hotel veramente gentile .....la colazione ottima e di qualità

Hotellet lå rimelig centralt - gåafstand fra Termini (fordel når man kommer med lufthavnsbus, og specielt hvis man har tidlig afrejse). Desuden så tæt på centrum, at vi gik rundt til ALT! Værelset var rent og pænt, ikke særlig stort, men Rom skal heller ikke opleves fra et hotelværelse! Der var alt hvad man havde behov for. Morgenmaden var ikke noget […] af skrive hjem om, men mættende og meget romsk - lyst brød, croissanter og kaffe efter behag. Ca. det samme som man kan forvente på andre hoteller i Rom. Alt i alt en perfekt billig base, for et opgold i Rom med veninder eller kæresten. Kna klart anbefales - dog ikke hvis man er til Hilton standard. Les mer
