Nice location and wonderful service. Everyone at the hotel was incredibly helpful and friendly. The beach was very small but the pool was lovely.
"Key Largo Bay Marriott"
We got to the hotel a little earlier than the check in time so I expected to sit around for a little while, but that turned into a 7 hour wait. During this time, I noticed several other people come in after me and get their room. While at the pool bar, the bartender gave my wife attitude when she tried to use a complementary drink coupon given to us […] from the hotel. When checking out, I asked for a late check out and they only extended it 1 hour. Didn't really go out of their way after making us wait 7 hours for our rooms. The hotel is very nice and clean, I just expected a little better service after spending that kind of money on two rooms. I know what to expect next time. Les mer

Location and resort facilities are good. Restaurant menu choices are limited although you can find other dining options a short drive away. Property is a little run down. Small things that are nuisances like a broken shower handle. I expected more for the price.

The room was nice considering my "bayview" was blocked by the dive shop building behind the hotel. The real problem was the pool and beach areas are very small and crowded and the water is not clear (it was four miles down the road at the Hilton) it's ok for a day or two not much going on in the area either. "The Perfect Valentines Day Setting"
My wife and I were looking for a nice, quiet setting for Valentines Day on our 25th wedding anniversary. We found the perfect place here. We were driving out of the Keys after a week at Key West. This hotel is on the water, has beautifully manicured grounds, very nice pool area, and is an incredible place to watch a sunset. The staff was as good as […] they come. Except when the pool is closed for a refit and essentially you find yourself in a construction site. Not a good result and NOT told on the hotels.com website (why not?). Marriott had it on theirs, but only found that after I checked in. Great location, good service but spoilt by the construction and missing pool.

"Key Largo Marriott - great"
Gorgeous hotel on the water. Easy trip from Miami and a good base for exploring the keys. Very nice restaurant and bars. The pool is right on the sand and the bay water is crystal clear. I highly recommend this one.

"Key Largo Marriott Resort"
The room was beautifully appointed, spectacular view, and nice surrounding property. However, by 7 pm, the tiki bars and gift shops were closed. The bathroom floor had a film on it from washing that had footprints in it. The water pressure in the shower was very low and difficult to wash hair under. If you are a tub person, there was no tub. The staff […] at the desk was distracted and gave the bare minimum of service and were not very friendly. The saving grace of this hotel was that the rooms and view were both very nice. The private beach was great, small, but spectacular place to view the sunset. High cost for the room with the amenities closed by 7, make this a difficult one to visit again. Les mer
"Great Time at Key Largo"
We thoroughly enjoyed this hotel even though it did not have the bells and whistles (waterslides/waterfalls) for the children. The set up was great having the small beach area so close to the pool. The children could go make sand castles and then head right into the pool. The ladies enjoyed the spa and the guys took a fishing charter with the Lyin Hawaiian […] docked right at the hotel. He took the children out for a ride after the charter to their delight. The restaurant had great food and an awesome sunset view. Les mer

"Hotel on the water with perfect view of sunset!"
This hotel had it's own diving boat for divers and snorkling. They also have jet skis and other water sports options. The beach area is awesome. Wonderful comfy chairs under Huts! Frozen Rum Runners are the best I have ever had! Close to Jimmy Johnson's Big Chill with a PERFECT view of the sunset!
"The most comfortable bed I've EVER slept in!"
The lady that checked us in (Arnette) was sooo friendly & helpful! We were confirmed for a 2 queen bed room, and at check in, I asked for a king bed, if available. Not only did she move us into a king bed room, but we also got an ocean view. The bed was the MOST COMFORTABLE bed I have EVER slept in! I have chronic back pain, but after 11 hours in the […] bed, I didn't have the slightest bit of pain!! And, the lady I spoke to Saturday night on the phone (can't remember her name) gave us a late check out for Sunday @ 2 pm. Les mer

"Nice place"
This hotel was adequate, but lacking in service. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The pool is very nice and the beach is kept clean with plenty of chairs. There is a Tiki bar at the pool, but it closes at 5 and there is no poolside service. The towel stand also closes at 5, so if you need a towel for the pool after that time you need […] to bring it from your room. The restaurant was okay. I was very surprised to see that the "Cheesy Mac" on the kids' menu was blue-box mac & cheese. Better to go to the happy hour and feed your kids all they can eat for $5. The room itself was nice, although there was no microwave. It was also rather small, and we had trouble squeezing the rollaway bed into the space between the beds. We stayed in a balcony room, so I was surprised at how small it was. The beds were clean and comfy, but very high. Not a problem for me, but my mother had some issues. The dive crew on the property was great. There was plenty of room for the dozen or so people on the boat. Overall, it was a nice stay. Les mer

Nice Hotel but a bit noisy. The scuba place was very noisy in the morning when they moved and filled the tanks. Close to some nice restaurants. Nice pool area and beach.

Had expected bigger rooms, was small for 4 people. Otherwise hotel is really nice with a nice pool and a good restaurant offering a great breakfast buffet and tasty dinners, although service was sometimes rather slow.

Pool, beach, recreation were fantastic and great for families -- basketball, volleyball, jet skis and kayaks to rent, etc. Rooms were nice, quiet but beds a little hard for our taste. Dining was an issue, though -- only one actual restaurant on site w/ limited seating, pretty formal atmosphere, and long wait w/out a reservation. Food itself was FANTASTIC, […] and same menu available for room service as restaurant; pool side bar and Breezes bar only had limited menus, though. Not a serious dive destination, either, but great for beginning divers or snorkelers w/ dive shop and lessons on site. Excellent hotel - staff all very friendly and helpful. We had booked a 2 double-bedded room, but the receptionist very kindly gave us a complimentary upgrade to a king room. Great pool and beach area and very nice pool bar. Also have a laundry area - you can buy washing power at reception - very handy. Not cheap, but you definately get what you pay […] for. Les mer

An enjoyable 1 night stay on the way back from Key West to Miami. Easy check-in and check-out. Room was clean, spacious and cool. Frozen drinks at the pool-side bar were the standard weak pre-mixed type but the bartender was very friendly and "enhanced" them to something palatable. Nice pool. THe hotel is very nice. The room was big and had a nice balcony. The bathroom was big as well. The best part of this hotel was the customer service and the pool. However, I paid for a bay view and you can barely see the bay, you had to lean over the patio railing and turn your head to the left to see it. The room was extremely humid, even our sheets […] were damp. There seemed to be mold on the ceiling in the bathroom which also had a hard time staying dry. The shower head was terrible. It barely worked and the water that was coming out of it was so high pressure that it hurt your skin! Les mer
