Ett bra hotell med god beliggendhet til Strand og nærhet til det en måtte ha behov for av restauranger og handel. Veldig god service. Herlig mat , rask romservice og ikke minst en fantastisk spa avd.

Ganske sentralt beliggende. Nært til strand og butikker. Likevel stille og rolig på hotellområdet. God og vennlig service.

Hotellet er i grei stand med fint basseng. Servicen var veldig bra og det er ikke mange meter til Karon beach. Selve Karon var rolig, men litt kjedelig. Lite butikker og ting å se på....

Good location but pool closes early and Internet is free for only 1 hr per day. Other hotels of this caliber generally have free Internet. Clean rooms and good breakfast and good service

Walk right across the street to Karon Beach. Plenty of restaurants and hotels within walking distance. Bars and nightlife also just right around the corner. Certainly not as crazy as Patong area, but we loved that Karon was away from all the hustle and bustle. The Karon beach is way less crowded than Patong and cleaner as a result. The sand feels like […] baby powder under your feet and the scenery is beautiful. Patong and Bangla street only a short tuk-tuk or cab ride along the coast if you want to party. I would definetely recommend this hotel, we did not know what quite to expect because of the price but we were very pleasantly surpirsed. The only negative I can say is that the 'english' style breakfast could be improved, but we traveled around Thailand for 3 weeks and it was the same everywhere we went. I went to IHOP on my first day back to states, never thought I love an IHOP breakfast as much as that one!! Les mer

Hotel staff was horrible. Shuttle didn't pick up from airport not once, but TWICE on the same trip.. Front desk people were completely unhelpful.. Spend your money elsewhere folks

This was our First time to Phuket - Thailand and we wanted to stay out of Patong so we decided upon Karon Sea Sands. Shuttle bus picked us up on time from the airport and drove us into the hotel this took about an hr due to high traffic - hotel staff greated us with cold towels and a welcome drink which was great as we were tired and cranky. Hotel room […] was good I got really bad food posioning on the streets so going back to a nice hotel was good at the end of the day. We enjoyed our stay at the Karon SeaSands. The location of the hotel in Karon Beach was perfect as it was situated directly across the road from the beach and easy walking distance to restaurants and shopping. There is a great path along the beach towards Karta Beach if you like walking and jogging. The buffet breakfast each morning had great variety. […] The hotel manager would walk around during breakfast greeting guests and help out the staff, very impressive. The resort is small, however it was still comfortable in that there was enough seating around the pool. You'll find the beach more enjoyable with the opportunity to rent lounge chairs and sun umbrella each day. Make sure you haggle on the price. The resort is not high end, but it is well kept and clean. We had no complaints with our room, it was quiet and located at the front of the building which is well set back from the main road and the room was spacious. It was room number 323. My wife and I had a great stay here, I think the resort is a little dated, but it was a nice place to stay and a great location, in regards to local shops and restaurants and also with the beach right across the road. The breakfast menu was what you would expect at a 4star resort, my only criticism was with some of the staff who didn't speak very good […] English and it was a little hard to communicate sometimes, but overall I gave the karon sea sands resort 8.5 out of 10, and we will stay there again. Great hotel, close to the beach and shops just around the corner. Only complaint is that they say they are smoke free but people were smoking around the pool and on the balconies in their rooms. Good buffet breakfast. Would recommend venturing out for meals if you're after a better deal. They have a shuttle service to and from the airport. For the price, we got everything we wanted and more. Room was clean and furnitures were very nice, bed was super comfortable, they have a pool with pool bar if you didn't feel like going to the beach which is right in front of the hotel. Staff was nice and helpful but sometimes communication was hard because they didn't understand everything so we didn't […] get all the information we wanted. Air-conditioning was turned off while you were not in the room so sometimes it was pretty hot when you got the but it cooled or quite quickly. Best part was the breakfast: a chef making fresh omelettes, fresh fruits, warm goods, juices, coffee/tea, different kind of cereals, loads of bread and croissants, topped with buns and muffins - seriously, you have to experience the breakfast yourself. The hotel is very nice, we stayed in a pool access room which was awesome. Staff are friendly but dont seem very happy. When the general manager was there they were very efficient but otherwise a bit hit and miss. Perhaps a tip box near reception would allow tips to get to staff that would otherwise not get any..

Hotel is clean and comfortable. very close the beach. you passed the road and come to the beach. Hotel pool is nice and 10 rooms directly accessed pool. food is delicious and sometimes music band enjoyed to dinner. Thai people allways smiling. but reception stuff is not cheerful. not polite.

We were in town for a wedding (held the other end of Karon Beach at the lovely Marina Phuket). As it was our first big trip without the kids we wanted to make every minute count - and the option of a swim-up room (opposite the swim-up bar!) sealed the deal for us. It's rated only as 3.5 star (and priced accordingly) but I consider that option to be […] 5 star luxury. Aside from that, the room facilities were high quality and in immaculate condition and the service was impeccable - nothing was ever too much trouble. And if you're after a decent massage and pampering (whilst they're cheaper in the streets, they are definitely hit & miss) you can get "2 for 1" in the hotel's day spa. 3 hours of pure heaven for 2 people at a quarter of what you'd pay at home. Divine! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone (families or couples - there was nice mix of both) but you MUST get the swim-up room. We were the envy of many of the wedding guests who'd stayed elsewhere for more. Les mer

Very comfortable rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Relaxing well maintained environment including picturesque pool. Close to markets, restuarants and pubs. Beautiful clean white sandy beach across the road.

We thought the hotel was great value for money. It was centrally located in Karon which is out of the hustle and bustle (and smelliness) of Patong. It is only a 10 minute taxi ride to Patong which has much better markets and restaurants. The room was fairly basic but still great. At first we found the room smelled a bit musty, but didn't notice that […] after a while. We paid the extra for a pool access room which is well worth the money. The Hotel was not too crowded which was great and it quite suited us as a family with teenage kids. If you want kids club etc, it is not the place for that. The hotel staff were always very friendly and helpful and our rooms were always serviced to a high standard. We would recommend this hotel to anyone who wanted to stay in Karon Beach. Les mer

We found the hotel to be a great little spot to stay. Not very big but all the facilities that you could want - pool, gym, massage spa. Breakfast was provided with a wide range of things to eat. Make sure you book a ground floor room with direct access to the pool - just walk out your back room and jump straight into it. Only criticism would be the […] hard amttress but that is common in most place is Asia. Woulkd happily stay there again and would recoomend it to others - as it was recommended to us. The beach is only 200 metres away but it does have a very strong rip which would not make it ideal for children (and some adults) to swim in but with the pool facilities that is not a problem. Were greeted with a beautiful watermelon shake and cold towels after a very long flight. Had a pool access room but was close to the pool bar so was noisy in the afternoons and also with children. Beds, like everywhere in thailand, were rock hard and extremely uncomfortable and we didnt have hot water any morning we were there. Location was perfect […] and breakfast was sufficient. Great location. However, I don quite understand the limitation in WIFI usage in the Room. Free Wifi usage for 20min everyday. For longer usage, I have to pay. It is not normal from hotels I stayed. There is also one instant when a service guy attempted to open our room door WITHOUT knocking on it. If you're looking for something with a pool and clean this place will do just fine. Also, the price is comparable to other hotels in the area. The beach is across the street and around the corner you can find the usual travel, shooping and eating things. The only real complaint would be that the breakfast is not very tasty, but edible.

The staff of this resort are most helpful and amenities are great. Pool is lovely and clean with a large spa. Location is great near plenty of thai massage places, and their own hot rocks massage at the spa is the best around. We had a number of items of clothing made from the tailors close to the resort - Uomo International Suits. Make sure you bargain!! […] Their work is really spot-on and very speedy. They bring you back for 2 or 3 fittings so clothes are very well fitting. The buffet breakfast is first class. Plenty of choices, both hot and cold. Les mer

Karon Sea Sand is conveniently located adjacent to Karon Centre shops and beach. Staff are welcoming and efficient. The hotel quality is good with no reason to find fault. The pool is a bit odd - running parallel to the accommodation and the neighbouring property. Space is limited, but still ok in May. Service, cleanliness excellent. Room massive (booked just the basic room, it had large bed, plus heaps of room, and a day-bed next to the window). Pool area very nice for lounging in sun or shade (has plenty of sun lounges under umbrellas). Cocktail bar at edge of pool. We had looked at many hotels when booking before deciding on Karon Sea Sands and we were not disappointed! The hotel is beautiful, we booked a pool access room and it was fantastic! This hotel obviously is a winner with its good location and clean and well maintained rooms. Pool was sparkling clean, along with restaurant and other facilities there. Breakfast was buffet style and consisted of juices, tea, coffee, egg station, cold cuts, cheeses, variety of curries and rice dishes as well as European style cereals, yogurts, and fruits. Restaurant […] was too busy some days with the coaches coming overnight and filling the hotel and then the guests all descending at the same time for their breakfasts. As longer staying guests we couldn't get a table until they had all left again. Most definitely good value for the money this hotel. 虽然我们酒店没有了我们预订的房子（高级房），但是他给我们升级到他们的兄弟酒店（baan karonburt resort)豪华泳池景观套房，总体酒店的规模稍微差了点，可是他们热情和负责的态度觉得还是比较满意的。例如，原来的酒店就有SPA的服务（当然是额外付费的），他安排我们去别的酒店后还是有安排5折优惠和免费专车接送服务给我们。baan酒店的房间布置很浪漫，餐馆的菜做得非常好吃，而且比外面就贵20／30泰铢， 相当划算。下次还是会住这个酒店！

Ett mycket trevligt hotell i övre medelpris läget (Lite i högsta laget enligt min åsikt). Trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Vi bokade matlagningskurs för hela familjen. Det blev ett jippo som engagerade stora delar av personalen. Jättekul upplevelse som varmt rekommenderas. Det enda negativa var egentligen själva "ingången" till hotellet som låg i en trång […] nästan osynlig passage från vägen. (Svårt att hitta) Väl inne vid entrén var det trevligt. Fint pool-område om än lite trångt. Nära till en underbar härlig strand med bra service. (Inte så mycket nasare) Bra kläd/pryl-marknad fanns i närheten. /Lasse Les mer
