Hadde et fantastisk opphold på Pudi Boutique Hotel! Flotte rom, med enorme bad, internasjonale tv-kanaler, hyggelige og hjelpsomme ansatte som snakker godt engelsk og perfekt beliggenhet. Det var mange OK resturanter i umiddelbar nærhet som var fine til både frokost, lunsj eller middag. Ligger også flere butikker som selger vann/brus/is osv rett i nærheten. Treningsrommet var desverre litt lite, men det var ingen andre som brukte det! Hvis man trenger litt mer plass kan man jogge i Fuxing Park. Er alt i alt kjempefornøyd med oppholdet, har ingen negative tilbakemeldinger og vil helt klart bo på samme sted neste gang!

veldig rent og pent hotell i sentrum av Shanghai. Rommene er fine, og blir vasket hver dag. stort bad! Vi ønsket vestling frukost, så hadde ikke dette inkludert. Men der er en bra cafe på andre siden av gaten, gode ciabatta, ferskpresset juice og god kaffe. Det er lokalisert rett ved fabric market, som var veldig bra for oss som ønsket å sy oss mange nye klær.

Bra, men dårlig gym og svake engelskkunnsakper i resepsjonen.

Kjempebra hotell til en god pris. Frokost fullt på høyde med standaren på norske hotell.Vennlig personale. Reint og fint over alt. Minibank i resepsjon. Kun 3 min. gange til hovedhandlegaten Ninjiang Hotellet kan anbefales til alle som ikke forlanger overdådig luxus.

God mottakelse, sett bort ifra treg innsjekking. Rommet hadde gode senger, og en aircondition som gjorde jobben godt. Stuen var utstyrt med kontorplass (med gratis internett), en tv, minibar og en sofa. Denne sofaen kunne godt vært noe mer komportabel. Bruken av rommet ble minsket ettersom sittekomforten var såpass dårlig. Soverommet var nydelig. […] Egen tv (men manglet noen gode vestligspråklige tv-kanaler som f.eks. HBO eller liknende), og også her et skrivebord. Vindeuer med utsikt over byen gikk fra gulv til tak, og dekket hele veggen, og byen så fin ut fra 27. etasje. Sengene var meget gode, og det var alt for lett å sove vesentlig lengre enn hva som var planen. Badet var bra. Hadde de vanlige innretningene, i tillegg til et stort hjørnebadekar og en fancy dusj med alle slags muligheter (men av relativt dårlig kvalitet) Ellers var prisene i baren og på SPA avdelingen relativt høye. This is a good value hotel for what you are paying for. It is close to The Bund and People's Square so it depends what you want. Most attractions are a taxi ride but at a couple of $'s each taxi ride it is not unreasonable. The king business rooms are large, bedroom and lounge with a good bathroom with bath and shower. The appearance of the breakfast was unappetizing. There were overcooked eggs and rotten bananas on display. the coffee was cold, the omellettes were oily and the service was not very good.

Stayed two nights at the Hotel. Overall, the stay was pleasant. Room was big but quite old. TV is CRT (not LCD). View from room was good minus the dirty window. Better view from buffet restaurant on 31st floor. Wifi available in lobby and breakfast area.

Great location -- walk to the Bund and Yu Gardens. Traditional Asian decor in room; large room (we were in a suite of some sort). Breakfast was only so-so but free! Great value for the money; would stay at again!

This Hotel exceeded my expectations and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The room was very spacious, clean and had every amenitiy I needed (including an umbrella which came in handy). The staff were friendly and usually helpful, and the location was very good with about 10 minutes walk to the Bund and slightly further to the Peoples Square. The Breakfast […] was good although I found the hot dishes to be luke warm at best, As mentioned in previous reviews there is no wifi but my room was provided with a computer which was fine to access emails etc, yes it was slow but after speaking to some people who have lived in Shanghai the slow speed of the internet is normal here. For the amount of money I paid I was very satisfied with my stay and would not hesitate in staying here again if I was in Shanghai. Les mer

We were very surprised and happy to walk into the Salvo Hotel lobby and be welcomed by the staff. Our room was excellent. We spent four wonderful days and found the hotel to be an incredible value and in a great location.

I really love this hotel and every time I'm in shanghai I try to stay there. I always get a business executive room as they are really comfortable. The only down side is the lack of english channels (apart from news) on the tv.

Very good location for most things and within walking distance for many. Older style Hotel but very comfy and with all comforts and wifi in rooms. Staff very helpful, and food in both restaurants good with average prices. Would stay here again, and recommend as a good all-round base.

Big rooms, but office area/couch area is pretty useless because there are no windows, so to dark. Facilities OK. Breakfast only OK. Service is fine though. I prefer more modern look and hotels a bit north of this location. Price compared to value is soso - I stayed at the Baron Business HOtel and Manhantten, which are way cheaper, and only slightly […] worse... "Good value"
We had a cheap executive suite for 3 days. The room is spacious, the bed comfortable and the view great. Local area is interesting with some nice, cheap restaurants and it's not too far to walk to the metro and East Nanjing Road. The furnishings are an awkward mix of Ming and modern. Breakfast buffet was OK but food sometimes cold.

Tyhis hotel is so cheesey inside I can't stand it. The only real positive thing I can say is the location was good.. Walking distance to the bund, and people's square and E Najin Rd (Subway). My room was a little musty but my travel companions wasn't. I should have asked for an alternate. Great location for a great price. Limited to no wifi -- only hard wire which doesn't work with iPad. I bought a Chinese router and solved problem $15. Wish I brought one from home.

Convenient location. Comfortable beds. The view was magnificent - the entire skyline of Shanghai across to the Bund. As with the hotel in Beijing - the towels are a bit thin and rough. The shower was difficult to operate and the stopper in the tub didn't function but other than that it was very nice. The location is really quite close to The Bund area, only 4-5 blocks away. The neighborhood is quiet, with not a lot going on right around, but things are close enough it is not inconvenient. The room was 2 room suite (bought the upgrade) and it was very spacious for Shanghai with nice setting area and work desk. I just stay for 1 night on 18 Aug 11 in a business king suite. The room is really big and the king bed is soft and comfortable. I am impressed by the branded "Grohe shower system", gives me a wonderful time bathing. The room decor is oriental, so is everywhere in the hotel. My stay is peaceful and quiet, unlike other hotels where they can be noisy. […] I paid a really economical price for it. The room furnishings smell a bit stale though, but it's ok to me as I am out sightseeing most of the time. Location wise, it is great as it is very close to The Bund and Nanjing Road Shopping Street. The free breakfast at 31st floor is of average quality in terms of variety and taste. Great view though. The hotel staff I met are generally helpful and cheerful. Just beware of the pimps and callgirls that stakeout at night at the hotel entrance, pestering you non-stop once they target you. Just ignore them and walk away. Don't reply them, don't be angry with them. Overall, I think it is a value for money good hotel for any kind of travellers. Les mer

"Salvo, Great Location, good high standard Rooms"
The rooms we had were executive rooms, large well kitted out, new and spotless all with a great view. Everything worked well, comfortable bed, good breaklfast and helpfull staff. The location is perfect, an easy walk from Nanjing Rd East Metro and good for the Bund. Also easy access to roads to and from the airport.

I was very satisfied with the room which was comfortable and well kitted out with handy little extras like an umbrella and even an adaptor plug! This hotel offers a fantastic central location for foreigners. Near metro stations, shopping, YuYuan Gardens. Everything is close enough to walk to. They also have enough staff that speak enough English to help you at all times. Of course be aware that Chinese culture is a little different and staff here are Chinese, so if you are looking for a Western […] style hotel this comes close enough but my not have absolutely every amenity that you want. However, that said, it's really accommodating in all the ways that you need. The breakfast spread is great with both western options and some local food too. They will even negotiate with a taxi driver if you want them too. (I've never seen a driver that speaks any English more than one or two words.) The knowledge of English at the reception desk could have been better. The staff had some problems in understanding and answering my requests and questions. The "western" breakfast was not very good for beeing at a four star restaurant. The boiled eggs were green, the cheese was uneatable and the selection of "western" items/food was quite limited.

"Fantastic Room - Great Location - Great Price"
I took the Business Executive Suite for litle more than the standard room rates. it was a very large 2 room suite with a very large work area including a computer / monitor they provided. The location is great if you need to be in CBD or near the Bund. Would / will stay there again.
