Friendly staff. Free internet in all rooms.

Vi hadde bestilt to separate senger, men fikk dobbelseng. Dette ble heldigvis ordnet etter at vi ga ny beskjed. Rommet er lite, men med havsutsikt og balkong så virker det større, og utsikten fra balkongen er fantastisk. Mottakelse er hyggelig, man får litt informasjon om hotellet, om stedet, et kart etc. God frokost. fryktelig harde madrasser. Fint […] bassengområde. Gratis shuttlebus til en strand som er bedre ca. 10 minutter kjøring. Enkel tilgang til Taormina med svevebanen. Les mer

We visited Isola Bella and wanted a room facing the sea, which we did get. We had a wonderful view! The rooms were clean, pool area nice and the staff helpful and spoke good English. The only thing that was a bit sad was that breakfast consisted of so much white bread and pastries. Neither satisfying nor healthy.

The view from the hotel was amazing. Beyond that, it was sadly a typical european hotel. King sized bed was two twins pushed together, large gap between. Shower and tub on the small side and yet still oversized for the bathroom to the point it was difficult just to get to the tub. In room phone was older than me, literally a rotary dial phone, which […] was fun when entering all the numbers needed to make a phone card overseas call home! Get down early for breakfast as once the good stuff is eaten by the other guests, they will not replenish the "buffet". Sadly, all of this seems typical for the area, however, due to the low price, this was a lot easyier to accept. Les mer

I could not regulate the temperature so I was cold the 2 nights I stayed there, but the view was incredible and staff excellent.

Lovely hotel. Right across from the Isola Bella itself, which is a nature preserve and very bella indeed. Location of hotel, however, requires taxi, bus or 'Funivia', which is local cable car, to get to Taormina proper. Bus service was spotty, and no one, not even the people at the TI, really knew when they ran, nor where they stopped. Funivia was closed […] for maintenance during our 3 nights stay, so can't comment. Some minor items in the hotel could use a bit of attention, but that's quite normal no matter where you go. Front desk was very helpful, breakfast was good. Only item of note was that there seemed to be a bit of noise from the hall and through the walls from other rooms. Overall, good value. Les mer

Room was tiny but that was reflected in the price we paid it was really cheap. Room did have a lovely view and was immaculately clean. Staff were brilliant and there was a great buffet breakfast :-)

We stayed at the Hotel Isola Bella at the end of May, 2011. The AC worked well, the beds were comfortable and the roooms were clean. The bathrooms and showers were very small but adequate for us. I don't know how anybody over 200 lbs. could take a shower there. Internet connection was available in the lobby but not in the rooms. Free parking was limited […] but we were lucky and found a spot. The hotel is in a good location between the beach and the cable car to get to the top of Taormina. The free breakfast was good but limited. The staff was friendly and helpful. Les mer

The staff were warm and welcoming. I was offered a choice of tiny single room with the outstanding view or a small double with a side seaview, which I opted for. The bathrooms in both, were small. Good bed, good breakfast, and very clean. Never quite got to grips with the bus service which suffered from long gaps midday but the local bus that runs a […] service from Giardini Naxos station to Taormina goes by the hotel and only charges 50cents. This was not a pleasant experience at all. The first room we got was so appalling that we asked for something else. The next was marginally better in that we had a sideways view of the sea. The TV did not work and the air conditioning was suspect. The room was incredibly basic. I would never recommend this hotel. They advertise "Parking Garage" but […] there is none and when I questioned the check in clerk he denied that they advertised it. We parked in the street along with the other guests. Les mer

Small room but amazing views and great rate. Highly recommended! One thing to bear in mind is that the wi-fi does not work with Mac's - PC only!

cheap and a great location

The service was absolutly great. Especially when we encountered a problem with a problem outside of their resposibilty, they when out of their minds trying to help us. I absolutly recommend. Other than service, hotel is close to the best beach and transport up the mountain to the city center.

Nice friendly hotel, make sure you book a sea view room which looks out onto Isola Bella. Hotel is located close to the beach and cable car into town. Rooms were clean and comfy. Staff are friendly and very helpful.

The hotel had a great location right on the Med. Make sure you get a sea view room as the pool view rooms overlook an alley. Fabio at the front desk was extremely helpful. Make sure you watch the ac when you go. We went in Oct and they turn it off every morning and you have to ask that it be turned back on. The hotel had some reasonably priced restaurents […] nearby. In order to go up to Taormina youy had to pay 3.40 euros round trip. Taormina itself was nice but very overpriced. Les mer

the location of this hotel is good, close to the cable car up to the town and beautiful views of the island of isola bella. the reception staff were very friendly and the room was very clean. although it looked like we had stepped into the 1970/80s when entering the hotel- lots of dark oak everywhere including the bedroom! there is a free shuttle bus […] down to a local beach, and a charge of 6 euros each for sun chairs- but lots of jelly fish anyone who went in the water quickly came out, but if you want to sunbathe it is fine!! it may be worth paying the extra few euros for one of the beaches in front of the hotel- jelly fish free possibly!! the pool is a good size and located on a raised level at the back of the hotel. parking is hard to find as this area is very popular with tourists so if you find a space don't move and hope your wing mirrors are still on when you get back. we had a great sea view and discovered that there was a firework display at night. would have been disappointed with one of the back rooms as the view would have been the hanging laundry! Isola Bella Hotel is situated on a busy road, with a railway line across the road. My room faced onto the road so I hardly slept a wink. It is also right at the bottom of the hillside, so is either a long and arduous climb up to Taormina (not ideal in the heat of summer), or you have to catch the cable car every time. Precário de transporte para chegar no hotel. Se pegar um taxi te cobram 10 euros da estação ao hotel e vice versa pra ficar 3 minutos no carro. Hotel simples.

Bra frukost, trevlig personal men alldeles för trångt badrum, slog nästan huvudet i väggen när man satt på toaletten. Storleken på duscharna i rummen varierar. I vårt rum var duschen trekantig, det gick knappat vända sig i den.

I especially enjoyed the very nice view from my very very tiny single room and the breakfast which is great ; the location is quite OK since the city center is easliy reachable by cablecar (2 € one way) and even by foot (quite a hard walk when it's hot) but it's almost impossible to walk along the seaside due to heavy traffic ; the hotel pool is in […] the back and from here you have almost no view but get the noise from the airconditionong and smoke evacuating system. We chose the hotel because of its location close to the water. We went diving and snorkeling (as relatively newbies within both) and it was great. A lot of small fish, crabs, and rocky landscape. It should be noted, though, that the beaches near Taormina are all rocky, not sand beaches. No problems for us, as it made snorkeling much more fun. The hotel […] was good, with views over the bay. The airconditioned corner-room we had (three persons) was large enough, and had balconies toward two sides. The staff was very friendly and the complimentary breakfast had a relatively large selection. The free wireless internet had reasonable connection speed (my son was able to play WOW). Nice clean pool and pool-area as well. TIP: We took taxis from Catania airport to the hotel, and from the hotel and back to the airport. The hotel staff ordered the return taxi, which was 60 Euros, a much better deal than the 100 Euros we paid from the airport to the hotel (we were 'stupid tourists' that forgot to bargain). A nice hotel close to the beach in Taormina. Very friendly staff and a nice swimming pool. Very nice view over the sea if you chose a room with seaview. The hotel is not a four star hotel more like a 3 star hotel. The rooms are very old but overall it is a nice hotel for one or two days visit.

Positif: personnel agréable, vue superbe si "vue sur mer", piscine, chambre tout à fait correcte. Plage proche. Négatif: au bord de la nationale, pas facile de garer sa voiture, peu insonorisé si voyageurs bruyants, bruit de portes, voix dans couloir.. Clim bruyante et peu efficace.

Lo mejor la vista. Es comodo aunque esta un poco obsoleto. El desayuno mejorable, pero por el precio en la zona parece razonable

bon accueil -très belle vue sur mer -piscine petite mais agréable par contre intérieur chambre viellot (moblier et sanitaires) hotel éloigné du centre ville -le bus passe rarement

Et udmærket hotel, med en flot udsigt. Det var rent og pænt og personale og service i topklasse. Vi nød de 3 overnatninger kommer gerne igen.

L'hotel è situato a mazzarò, la vista su Isola Bella è eccezionale, l'hotel è un pò datato e le camere non sono il massimo ma c'è la piscina ed è abbastanza vicino alla funiculare e a ridosso della spiaggia.. Per il rapporto qualità/prezzo è perfetto.
